AutoBuy of West Palm Beach Florida does not pay the max. That is a lie. Beware of Slick Albert Latini. He offered me less than $3000 for our 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ. We went to CarMax and received $5500. Also, the whole business is a sham. CarMax is winning. AutoBuy is a sham with crooked people.

I went to their Royal Palm Beach location and received an offer that was $1800 lower than CARMAX. I would recommend making sure you shop around for the best offer. AutoBuy wasnt it. In addition, the appraiser spent most of this time talking to one of his colleagues about another customers offer who wasnt even in the store whilst I sat and waited for mine.EDITED TO ADD: I did make the appraiser aware of the CARMAX offer. He said, Theres no way we can even come close to that. So, no...no effort was made to try to beat the competing offer. I think he was more interested in talking about this other deal with his colleague. Its fine if you cant beat another offer, but since your marketing implies that you will beat your competitors offers, then people should be aware that this doesnt always apply when they are considering selling their car to you.

Went in to sell my car at the west palm beach location. Worked with Al. He was very processional. Took care of the car while doing the appraisal. When he was done he presented me with their offer. I told them I had another appraisal from the day before at a higher value from a different company. He took down my info as it was near closing time and asked if he can present that info to his manager and call me the next day.
