I’ve had nothing but good experiences when coming here. You always hear horror stories of car dealerships when buying a new car and this was not the case at all. I bought my first car back in March and I was extremely happy and surprised by how amazing this place treated me. I was helped by so many people when I first came here and they made the process so easy and felt genuinely taken care of when trying to find a car. I recommend coming here 100%.
The best car buying experience Ive had. No pushy salesman. I came in knowing what I wanted and they made it happen fast. They take care of all the paperwork for you so no having to sit at the DMV. David Snead was great to work with.

Heather in the Service Dept is excellent. She called me multiple times to keep me apprised of my Odysseys sliding door misalignment & resulting parasitic drain on battery. Altho it took 2+ days to fix, it was worth bringing it in. I really enjoyed working with her, she knows how to explain the work done by the service tech in a way the lay person can understand.We also needed an Inspection sticker and Heather advised us to wait & drive thru a full tank of gas first. If we didnt, the exhaust system could fail inspection, bc in disconnecting the battery, the PCM (Power-train Control Module) or main computer in the van, wiped all data out and the van wouldve failed inspection.I purchased this vehicle many years ago from Rich Merlino in H C Sales, he was excellent, fair, and that was also an excellent process. I hate the hard sell and the selling gamesmanship that is typical of car dealers.If you buy/service your car at Herb Chambers in Westboro, rather than the other Honda dealer in Natick you wont go wrong. Every department at HC Honda is just better trained and they treat you with dignity.
Matthew Gonyea has waited on me several times and is always upbeat and friendly. Even when they are busy, he does what he can to help me get the service I need as I have limited time off from work.Of all the cars Ive purchased and had serviced Matthew has provided me with the best service. Amazing place to get a car! i didn’t have to wait around at all and they did everything they could to get me an awesome deal that fit my budget! super transparent, honest and helpful! i feel like i would not have gotten such great service or such a good deal anywhere else! will definitely be going here and recommending this place in the future!!
David Yang was our salesperson. He was excellent. Very knowledgeable, friendly and was most accommodating. He presented several options for us to choose from. He was not pushy or rude like some sales people we have experienced in the past at some dealerships. The general manager was also low key and was upfront with pricing and trade in value for our vehicle. We were even offered a demo vehicle to lower the cost of our purchase. The financial person Perkins was upfront and low key as well. Options for extra protection of our new vehicle were presented in a positive low key manner. Again unlike some other dealerships we have dealt with in the past. Overall our experience at Herb Chambers Honda of Westboro was very positive. We would recommend perspective buyers visit this dealership as they are not the usual intense high octane salespeople that you find at most dealerships. They eliminate the hassles and make the buying experience stress free.
My experience at Herb Chambers Honda was great. Harrison was very attentive and worked hard to get me into the vehicle I wanted. Buying my vehicle at Herb was a pleasant experience and I would return in the future.
This is my opinion based on my horrible experience with this dealership.I am giving one star as 0 is not an option. We visited this dealership today after they told me that the car we liked was in stock (I have it in writing). When we got there after being stuck in bad weather related traffic for 1 hour, they tried to sell us a car that was one trim lower. Additionally, all of a sudden, the price for my original choice of trim in a different color went $2000 more. I dont like to name names so wont share the name publicly but the guy who I talked to over the phone and met in person is supposedly the manager. He is rude, and does not care for the customer in my opinion and experience. He also lied to me while lowballing me on my trade in car value by saying he thought I only had 50000 miles on my trade-in when I specifically said 150000 plus miles once to him and once to the original sales person over the phone before visiting the dealership. I am a repeat Honda customer (this would have been my third in 7 years) and this dealership has put a really bad taste in my mouth. I am seeing other customers here with similar experience where we are told car is in stock. I suspect this trick is used by them to get customers in the door.
(From a few months back)....I moved and went here for my first time for routine stuff. My service was good, but I asked to get an inspection sticker. When I got my car back the same expired sticker was still on. They said they “couldn’t do it” because I needed new license plates and the “dent” by my front tire.....they could have put a rejected sticker on at least.... I ended up ordering license plates but I went somewhere else to get an inspection with no issues with anything and it passed.I felt like maybe they didn’t have the time, which I would have understood more than excuses if I was just told that directly. I’ll probably go back to Lancaster even though it’s a drive now. This kind of ruined it for me.

Great sales experience. Terrible service experience, but I guess thats the norm at all Honda dealers in the area. I purchased a brand new car in February. Its been back in twice already to address issues with the windows/sliding doors. Now the electrical system is on the fritz. They wont give me a loaner vehicle, and I dont want to sit around for hours following my scheduled appointment, so Ill go elsewhere. And its too bad, really. Were in the market for a new car, and I was planning on revisiting this dealership given the positive experience I had during the purchase process, but I will not return.
I wanted to share an amazing experience I had in getting my CPO 2018 Honda Civic with David Wyman in June 2021. We (the family) went on a Monday to check inventory, and David found the one we were curious about online. Got it ready, took it for a test drive, great car. David was great working with pricing and our trade in (was in rough shape due to some water damage). They gave us a gracious trade-in all things considered. David was awesome, patient with our questions, our kids (even skipped around with them to different departments... lol). He even worked with my busy schedule coming in on his day off to close out the sale on Wednesday. The rest of the Herb Chambers Honda Westborough team was great too. No pressure, answered all our questions. The car has been fantastic. I really want thank David Wyman for helping us get this car. HIs patience, knowledgeable on the options and available cars, his focus on us, working with our trade-in, and busy schedule. All around a truly great guy, and experience.
To keep it simple, these guys wanted to charge me almost $4000 for a service job that would “maybe fix the problem” that I went and completely fixed elsewhere for $250. (OVER 15x THE PRICE)Beware of the wolf in sheep’s skin….They will make you think they want to help you but really they want to help themselves to your wallet.I simply cannot trust my car with people like that and neither should you.I cannot wait for the manager to copy and paste his stock “We’re sorry for your experience but you can contact me about it” message on this to pretend like they care
We had no intention of buying a car today. We went there fully intending to test drive a Honda Pilot and then test driving other vehicles before making a final decision. Our salesperson Ara was excellent. He answered all our questions and had a great sense of humor. He always gave us his full attention and never made us feel pressured or rushed. We spoke with the sales manager Steve who thanked us for coming in and also put no pressure on us to stay.We then walked out to the car and were getting ready to leave. My wife and I talked about what we were looking for and how our search had been going so far. We decided that if Ara could work out some financial wrinkles then we would move forward.Ara and Steve were able to work everything out and we agreed to purchase the new Honda Pilot. The whole process could not have gone better. It was the easiest and most enjoyable car buying I have ever been a part of.I would highly recommend this dealership. They were professional, friendly and honest and we never felt pressured to do anything we weren’t comfortable with.
Bought a Certified Used Car (2017 CR-V) @ Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough. Alex Mahnken, my Sales Consultant, walked me through every step of the process and answered all of my questions. The purchase, financing, insurance and registration were all handled seamlessly. I feel as though the dealership is interested in building relationships, not just selling cars. I would recommend Herb Chambers and Alex to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.
Kevin is a newer employee and was excellent. He made sure he was giving me the correct info, was personable and arranged for a shuttle. Bruce was the shuttle driver and very sociable. Turns out we had much in common. On the down side, the mechanics had to remove a car seat and seat cover to service my car and did not reinstall either and the inside of my car reeked of gasoline.

I put a new battery in my car. This locked the radio. I needed a code to get use of my radio back. I walked in with no appointment and they took me right in.....figured out my code and sent me on my way at no cost. Thank you so much. I have a road trip planned and no radio woul have been a real bummer!
Excellent experiences always. I used to hate going to purchase cars until I found Honda of Westboro and Steve Santo. I have been bringing my daughters to him for cars for a few years now. I actually enjoy going to a car dealer now and never walk out feeling like I’ve been jerked around. He always makes sure the cars are safe and well serviced and reasonably priced. We can’t thank him and the service dpt enough for all they have done. We will be repeat customers as long as Stephen S. Is there and the service department jeeps up the good work. 👍👍

I visited the dealership as my engine light was on. Cameron was the service representative who had my car. I could not be happier! Cameron was very attentive and ensured I understood every step of the process. He answered all my questions and did not hesitate to repeat, if needed.

Ill list them below in reverse chronological order.2021 May 12:Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough went above and beyond to advocate for us with Honda America regarding a problem with our 2018 Clarity. Issue was confirmed to be a factory defect. With Randy Robinsons help we were able to get the issue fixed with Honda taking some of the responsibility. Thank you again so much Randy!2021 Apr. 19: Peter Roun was helpful and went above and beyond to work with the service foreman Jeremy to handle a routine maintenance reminder that turned out to be generated by the car by mistake, and rather than charge me for stuff I didnt need, he wrote up a no cost service record. I had a question about the car and he cheerfully asked Jeremy to come talk to me about it. Everybody I worked with for todays visit was very customer oriented. I felt very well taken care of.2021 Jan. 14: Randy Robinson provided a stellar first impression on my initial visit to the dealership with my Honda Clarity. He was very attentive to my questions, and was especially so, considering some were rather challenging because I have a car model thats not very common. Both during this and the subsequent visit above, everyone was very helpful in sharing their other customers experiences with their Clarity ownership.
The dealer drove the minivan we were interested in to our home an hour away. We have a newborn and two other little ones so that service clinched the deal. We did the entire sale purchase from our house. The sales and finance people were very helpful. We would recommend this Herb Chambers very strongly to folks with young kids who know what vehicle they are looking for and don’t have the time to sit in a Dealership for hours and hours.
We spoke with someone a few days before and explained the problem with the mirror. Told that our appointment would be put off a few days so the part could be in stock. On day of service we received a call about the part but we couldn’t answer. I tried calling back within 3 minutes of the call but got the voicemail. I tried calling over 25 times during the day and no one answered the phone. I finally contacted the receptionist who also was unable to get in contact with anyone in service. Car was never fixed and told to order my own part. Very poor customer service.

Wasn’t really planning on buying a car, but it had to be done. Alex was very helpful throughout the process. Didn’t push extras and took time to go through all the features of my new CR-V, which was quite a step up from the old vehicle.
I accidentally missed my appointment and was still able to take my car in to be serviced the next day! I was worried about needing to convince the dealership of the issue I was having with my car since it was still warrantied, but they fixed everything very promptly and all of the fixes were covered under warranty. There was actually one area of damage that wasn’t covered under the warranty but since I recently bought my car they covered it for me, which I really appreciated. Very nice staff every time I have interacted with them!I had to take my car back for maintenance/to fix a tire leak and the service was great as ever! Everyone in the service department is super friendly and helpful :)
Living some distance away and interested in a vehicle listed online, I called to inquire re: availability. I was assured that yes the car was on the lot and yes they would take care of everything so that I could drive it away today. I drove hours to make this purchase which was made abundantly clear when making the appointment, only to arrive to find the car was not on the lot and even if it were, they wouldn’t have been able to take care everything that day. Incredibly unprofessional! Very upsetting.
I always work with Randy and he is great! He goes out of his way to ensure his customers are happy and well taken care of. He always takes peoples time and experience into consideration when planning services. Randy gives great, honest advice when it comes to servicing your vehicle. I have never had a bad experience with him and it always feels like an honest positive experience at Herb Chambers Honda when I leave.
Excellent experience with Herb Chamber of Westborough. The pricing on a new Accord by email was very straight forward and the best offer we found. Our salesperson Harrison did his best to understand our needs and explain all options with no pressure. Once we bought he was very helpful in explaining the technology and responded multiple times to our questions as high tech newbies. Best experience we have had with a dealarship.

I’ve been getting my cars serviced at Herb Chambers Honda in Westborough for over 15 years. They have done excellent work on my cars (I have bought 3 Honda vehicles at this dealership). My wife, my daughter and I are all busy and need reliable transportation. I never worry about that as HC Honda has been so reliable for many years. They also provide high-level customer service!!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

One of the better experiences purchasing a new vehicle. David was up front and honest. Answered all my questions. The negotiation was more of a conversation and went smoothly.
I found a 2021 Honda Pilot on their site in the exact model and color that I was looking for so I called to schedule a test drive. They were able to accommodate me immediately and I loved the Pilot. Everyone that I dealt with was very friendly and professional. My lease was up on my CRV so they were able to take it that day, transfer my plates and prepare the Pilot for me to drive home THAT DAY. I highly recommend this dealership and all of the people that work there. My salesperson Zach was very polite and made the whole experience easy!

Very poor service and unprofessionalism. I have been chasing them for 10 days to replace my condenser under warranty and they kept my car for three days at service center without any progress. I have a warranty till September for free replacement. When I asked how long will it take to fix the Air conditioner their response was rude - it might take 10 days or even 10 months. I strongly recommend not to waste your time at this service center. They dont care or understand the Customer trouble. I never visit this place again.

Five Stars for salesman David Snead. Wonderful low pressure pitch, patient while we test drove multiple models, and saved the deal when a supervisor tried the heavy handed approach. Docking one star for that supervisor who refused to move off full sticker, supposedly due to the chip shortage, until we walked away. Suddenly there was wiggle room. Not a fan of those gimmicks.
I started my new car search from here. I interacted with couple of sales reps but did not like the experience. I liked a car which had small dent on it. So, when i requested if they can lower the price to compensate for the dent, i was told by the sales rep and her manager that they cant change the price. Its against their policy. But, within few hours I saw that the price for that car has been reduced. I did not like this experience. I dropped my plan to get my car here and went ahead and got a new car from Lundgren Honda.

Randy was a prompt and attentive service representative from our first conversation. He covered every detail with excellent customer service. Then when my car was delivered back to me, it had been vacuumed and washed.I was very pleased.

I was looking to lease a new CR-V. The sales people were very nice to work with but the finance person that was crunching the numbers for my offer is my main reason for this low review. I had a specific number in mind that I was looking to put down as well as my trade-in value of my used car. He originally was only going to offer me 500 for my car when KBB is in the range of 2500-3400. The information I was getting kept changing and I was very confused as to what the sales person was relaying because I was still looking at the original offer. So I repeated what I heard the sales person say and he confirmed that was correct. I asked him to get it in writing for me that they were now going to give me 2500 for my car so I can see what the numbers would look like for an additional down payment. The finance person came out and was extremely rude to me. I told him what I heard the sales person relay to me and he spoke to me in a really condescending voice and exclaiming “this isn’t how this works.” I asked him for his best offer and he slid the paper that I originally had in front of me aggressively toward me and got up and left the table. It left such a sour taste in my mouth that I left immediately.
My husband and I purchased 2 cars from Herb Chambers of Westborough. We did comparisons ( 4 to be exact). All 5 Honda dealerships were pretty spot on with the prices and negotiations, however Herb Chambers provided a stress free, honest feel. We credit our salesman David Wyman for making this happen. If it wasnt for Davids knowledge, demeanor, and clear passion for his job we may have went down the road. When someone is making a HUGE purchase, 2 brand new cars, we felt the most important thing was for us to feel comfortable and know that the dealership would stand behind their product. Today, I got a worst experience with this dealer as they are most irresponsible dealing with Customer, inspite of confirming the availability of Stock, but when you personally visit to see that Stock, they simply say it is sold, even with in one hour after your appointment fixed, they dont care since how long you came,further their General Manager is also lying and no answer for that, but not keeping the Stock up to date on website or some fake Stock keeping on website to attract the Customer, I would request all my friends to avoid this place to visit, as they are lying or make the person fool, May be in all aspects. Please remember, if you go this place, chances are there to being fool.
I will never buy a car from ANY other dealership. I have bought 3 through this specific location and NO ONE beats their service and care for their customers.Randy has been absolutely EXCEPTIONAL with his customer service always going above and beyond for our family and very knowledgeable in relation to mechanics and service.Bruce always has such a warming smile and greeting every time we bring our 2020 black edition Honda Pilot in. I am NEVER waiting more than 2 minutes (RARELY even 2 minutes). I had a malfunction recently and was stopped in Worcester and Bruce was there in literally 10 minutes after I called to come and get me. Mercedes, BMW, their service was absolutely horrific when car shopping and THIS LOCATION, Westborough Honda by FAR beats anyone. Had two visits to the service department over a few weeks, for a recall campaign and a state inspection. Both times, I was taken care of by Jody; he was very professional and attentive, and ensured it was a smooth and pleasant experience overall. I’ve never had any problems bringing my Honda to this dealership, just feels like an extended family!

I planned on just going to test drive a CRV since I haven’t driven a new car in over 20+years. I had an old sedan and I was excited to drive a new SUV 🚙 well I was sold on it, and ended up leaving the dealership with a Honda Pilot, my sales representative Harrison was knowledgeable, very kind and a pleasure to work with, and Steve and Tia and everyone I dealt with that day, was so helpful & pleasant and they where able to get me into a new white SUV, that I have dreamed of owning. ☺️ They made the whole experience of getting a new car seamless and wonderful! I scheduled a repair last minute when my battery had issues and was able to see them that same day. Justin did a great job getting me set up with help. Typically I avoid dealerships because I dont like their high prices or their funny business of trying to sell me a bunch of unnecessary stuff, but Justin was very honest and made sure I only did things with my car that made sense. I appreciated that above everything else and for that reason I would actually consider returning to this Honda location.

I’ve brought my vehicles to this dealership for many years and am always left very happy and confident in the work that was done. Now I drive an Acura but still continue to bring it here due to the exceptional job they do. They truly go above and beyond. This time I bought my 2012 RDX in for a state inspection and many repairs due to its age and mileage (and my driving 🤣), and they provided me with a beautiful new Accord loaner so I wouldn’t have a problem making it to work while my car was getting fixed. Thank you Randy (and Jose) for taking care of everything and making what can be a stressful time as easy and stress-free as possible.
Manny at this Honda dealership was very kind to me and made my experience buying a car very easy and quick. He gave me all the information I needed to proceed on buying the car. Took his time on finding me the best deal all around. Since this was my first time buying me own car he was very straight forward with everything and explaining everything I had to do. I went to the dealership 1 day and the next day I already had the car in my position without any problems. Wonderful guy to work with definitely will ask for him next time I want to get a new car and you should as well.

Their parts department is terrible, they dont answer the phone and it just keeps ringing. Joe an employee at the parts department doesnt know what his doing, kids clueless & needs training, probably why they dont answer the phone. Pathetic parts department, dont use them. I regret i did, TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Brought my car in to have the driver shaft replaced due to a recall. It was a 3-hour wait but they told me it could take that long due to the type of replacement that’s involved. The new gear shaft is sturdy and doesn’t wobble like the old one did.My Fit is eight years old with just over 70K and is in fantastic condition; now even more so.It was a Tuesday morning so all was quiet. They have coffee/tea and everything is done via machine. I read a book while I waited. Professional and friendly service.

What a great experience. I knew the car I wanted when I walked in but the whole team made the experience smooth and efficient and friendly. I came to Herb Chambers after two dealerships I had bought cars from in the past each tried to add thousands in extra fees and expenses to getting a Honda. I had to drive an hour for this dealer but it saved me a lot of money and aggravation. The car was ready to test drive the staff answered a million questions and ran my paperwork so fast. Hillary, the saleswoman, spent almost 2 hours covering all the safety settings and technology for me so I was comfortable driving it home. Ill be back !
