Probably the most honest mechanic I have had. Explains everything in detail, doesnt surprise you with extra expenses and if there are he will call you first. Glad found him!

We were having engine problems with our first escape for a month taking it in to the dealership. We decided to go to G2 to see what else could be done. They were very helpful in describing the 2014 model we had was a bad design in engine and was best to try to sell it and get what we could out if it. He fixed it up as best he could and didnt charge us a dime. We are still looking for a new car but will definitely be coming back!

First off let me start by saying, that Gary is a great guy, honest and does great work! I wanted very badly to give G2 a 5 star rating but to keep things real, it would be unfair because there were a couple hiccups.We brought Gary my sons truck, 1990 Dodge D150, that needed a new motor. Part of the first issue was finding a good replacement, at absolutely no fault of G2, this took much longer than we all first thought. When we thought wed found one, it turned out to be a bad deal, as the company that said they had one, actually did not and kept putting us off. We then decided to switch to another, much better company, though they were more expensive, both Gary and me felt much better about them. Once the order was placed, it was about 3-4 weeks out for the engine to arrive. We went ahead and scheduled to bring the truck in a few days early so he could get started pulling the old motor and have things ready for when the new one arrived. I will spare all the little details, but the process was supposed to take about a week, it ended up taking quite a bit longer. There were a few parts that were unexpectedly broken or needed replacing, but Gary was really good about communicating all of this with me, he even sent many pictures along the way of the progress and work. This was a wonderful and unexpected bonus that we very much appreciated! In the end, there were a few issues, from a couple bad clamps, a bad gasket, a bad sensor and poor workmanship by an employee, that is no longer there...So here is where I was thoroughly impressed! As soon as I made Gary aware of the issues, he graciously and immediately took care of the issues without question and jumped on it right away! As a small business owner myself, I understand all to well what its like to rely on an employee, but unfortunately its all to common that they just dont have the same care and workmanship as we do. With all this said, yes we had a couple things go wrong, no one is perfect! But, I would definitely not only highly recommend G2, I will gladly bring my vehicles to him in the future! Thank you Gary for all you did, you went above and beyond and thank you for knowing what it means to have truly honest and great customer service!

Great guy!! After a month of changing every sensor obd was telling us, Gary looked at what we had done, listened to what I told him car was doing, immediately told us problem. Had car back on the road within couple of hours, perfect running condition. Highly recommend!!!

Gary has been great with the repairs we needed on my 2011 Traverse (O2 sensor) and my daughters 2004 Beetle (catalytic converter and spark plugs). He has been super sweet about working with our schedule and getting the work done when he says it will be done. My daughters Beetle runs like a totally different car now! I have even noticed a slight increase in gas mileage on my car. WOOHOO! Definitely recommend Gary at G2 Garage.
