Suspected a coolant leak and took it to this shop. He performed the pressure test and called to tell me their were no issues. Just proving the honesty of the business.

We happened on this place by chance when my wifes Mini had engine problems nearby, but I was really impressed with the professional and personal service we got here. Work was done quickly, and at a price a bit lower than I was expecting, so I certainly felt like we were treated honestly. Thanks so much, and well definitely be back for any future mechanical work!

I brought my truck into D&J with a service engine light and acceleration problems, which was caused by poor workmanship from the previous mechanic (See my review of Tilden, located next door if curious). Jeff did an amazing job on my corolla. I came in thinking I had an electrical issue only for him to point out a bad water pump. He was extremely knowledgeable and handled it right away. Definitely coming back!

He’s a rip off, or maybe because I’m a woman, I had my car towed up there today because it wouldn’t start, I had a broken key he called and said he needed the key to diagnose the car and it would be $430 for a key and a oil change and the “diagnostics” (looking at the key) I told him to break the charges down and he said $85 diagnostic, $42 oil change and I guess $303 for they key and the programming the key 2006 Honda Accord, I told him to go ahead and do oil change and that I would find someone to make and program the key. I found someone on Google they made and programmed the key for $165. He did no diagnostic because he couldn’t without the key reading but instead of him saying that the reason the car won’t start is because the key is broken he says you owe me $85 for diagnostics. I asked for diagnostic report No report. Do not go to this guy if you are a woman or have no knowledge of cars

This place is awesome! The man that helped me out was one of the most genuine and down-to-earth people I have ever met. He’s compassionate and takes pride in his work and being a reputable mechanic. Not trying to hustle you or get over on you, but genuinely wants to solve your problem. I’d highly recommend him to anyone!

Very reasonable in pricing. He did a good job in replacing my clutch and front bearings over 2 years ago. Still runs good.He is best if you have a specific job to do for your car. Hell beat or match any offer. I would recommend him highly. While there change you oil for $10.

Had a water pump replaced on a diesel. It was a federal holiday, and he provided same day service. The bill was a bit high, but being on my way the same day was well worth it! No nonsense attitude from owner-very direct and up front. Did exactly what he said.

After a few popular mechanics charged a high price for their repairs to my car, I began to look for someone else to fix my car. I knew what the problem was, but many mechanics acted as though I was naive. Many were going to charge one hundred of dollars to look at my car and over six hundred dollars to fix the already known problem. After a brief day or two of despair, I looked up mechanics in the fort worth area. He showed up on the search, and I decided to take a chance. I called, and he sounded honest to me. I drove there with my dad to really feel the place out. We followed Google Maps and stopped too early at the mechanic next door, but I realized then that he had a much smaller place. A dive! I knocked on the door, and he let my dad and me in. I told him that I needed my car fixed and that the problem was in the front right wheel-well. He said he would be glad to look after he finished lunch. This guy checks out, I thought. He took a look and concluded that the problem was as I thought. He then gave me his price which was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the other mechanics. He fixed my car shortly after the ordered parts came in, and he fixed it quite quickly. If you plan to get an oil change from him, he will charge you an honest fair for the drainage, oil filter, and quality oil. He is an honest mechanic, and I trust him with my car.

I took my car there for an engine expecting my warranty to pay for it. When we realize there warranty was not going to pay for the engine, I wanted my car towed to my house to get it repaired somewhere else when I get the money. My car say there for about a week with nothing done to it. I called Jeffery letting him know Im getting my car in Friday, he told me he put a LIEN ON THE CAR HE NEVER DID WORK ON. My balance was zero so why outa lien on a car that owes you nothing? A MECHANICS LIEN IS WHEN HE DID WORK ON A CAR AND THE CUSTOMER CAN NOT PAY. Jeffery is all about making money. He told me he does not care what happens to the customer after the lien. He started taking part off my car even after we know the warranty company not paying. He said he will get money from this vehicle any way he can. I never authorized any work to get done on car because I know I can not afford to. JEFF CHARGED ME$1000 for lien, taking car apart without permission, $175 tow bill towing 15 minutes, and $35 a day storage fee. Keep in mind I never got that engine but I get a big Bill for not touching my car. IVE KNOWN JEFF FOR YEARS, WAS FRIENDS, TILL HE TRIED TO SCREW ME OVER. ALL WE TALKED ABOUT WAS HIM SCAMMING CUSTOMER.

I took my f250 in for a high pressure oil pump, Jeff installed it very quickly. The price was very reasonable (not too cheap not even close to expensive). A few months later the high pressure oil pump had problems. I called Jeff explained what happened calmly, I towed it back to his shop it looked at it and agreed the pump had a problem. He took the pump off took it to the supplier and installed a new one without charging me for the repair. My truck came back to me in perfect condition right before dove season started.Jeff even called me and Informed me whoever installed the starter forgot to use lock-tight and the nut backed off ( I installed it and when the nut backed off I just put a binder clip on it to temporary hold lasted 4 months). Jeff went ahead and put another nut on for me.I hope my truck doesn’t have anymore problems but if it does I’m Calling Jeff to fix it.

Dont let the outside of the shop put you off. Jeff is a straight up, no nonsense guy and knows his business. Rebuilt the trans on my BB Charger and spotted both the flywheel and balancer were wrong. Excellent wrench, fair and honest. Does what he says, for what he says, when he says and uses top shelf parts.

I cant recommend Jeff more highly. Ive been going to him for about two years now. I find him to be honest and straight forward. When another place told me I needed $1500 in repairs before they could even start an annual inspection I brought my car to Jeff. He told me there was nothing wrong that would prevent me from passing and referred me to another testing place. He didnt charge me a thing.When I have needed work his prices are by far the best and Ive had no problems with anything hes fixed.

I went to this place after reading some good reviews and I was amazed, very professional service this guy knows what hes doing. He changed the bearing on my minivan and was very honest. Last place I went they didnt put the bearing right and frogot to put a ring which holds the bearing. In about 5k miles bearing start making grinding noise. This guy did a good job.

This place is great. He takes the time to educate you on the issue and will walk you through it step by step. Really down to earth guy, took good care of my car.

Great Service. I had put off getting my pickup repaired due to the high cost suggestions of other repair shops. Most expensive car care I have ever been. Charged more than $300 to replace an alternator. Verified with other Firestone is much cheaper.

I was just there for the weekend and my truck broke down, on a Saturday almost everyone else was closed but this shop. He did an amazing job fixing my 6.6 duramax, in a very short time and is a very nice guy.

I took my Nissan Sentra here because they offered me the best price in town on a CVT transmission replacement and so far Ive put 10k miles on it and am very impressed with the quality of his work! He even cleaned the McDonalds drive thru paint off my driver side mirror :) They are great in communicating and will do what it takes to do the best job in the timeliest manner possible.
