Went in to get a new plan and upgrade my phone. The gentleman named Derek has to be the worst person I think Ive encountered in customer service. Not helpful at all and acted like he didn’t even want to help. Didn’t explain anything or even offer any type of information on what I was trying to do. If I didn’t need my phone for work I would have went somewhere else. Soon as phone is paid off I will be getting new service from another provider.
The sales rep that helped me Armonie was amazing. My issue is with the sales rep Brian seen 5 Hispanic men come in and literally followed them around the store as if they were going to steal something without even offering them any assistance. If thats the type of service minorities get then I would definitely recommend people to go a different Verizon store. I chose this store because it was closest to where I was located at.
I like Verizon been a customer for 20 Yrs and I wanted to pickup a case for my XS MAX iPhone but now the stores only carry the top current models of iPhones accessories which is not cool.
This is my go to store for most of my cell phone needs! No more going to the fake Verizon stores for me! Its a bit far away from me but well worth the drive! The only downside is they dont carry Samsung phone cases but have MANY beautiful iPhone cases.😥 thats the reason I dont give them 5 stars.

Came in to do a phone trade in today and Jessica was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything I had questions with. My family and I were all on phone plans that werent right for us and Jessica was able to switch us over to the correct plans that best suited us and was very thorough on explaining the details of the plans and bills.
I only shop at this location. Its the best one in Wichita.

I went into the store and asked about mobile Hotspot for my Samsung Galaxy Book, and was helped by Jessie. She walked me through how it works, and suggested I went with a sim card at 20.00 per month due to how I was going to use my device. All I needed to do was switch a phone number from one phone to a new phone and they said it was going to be a 45 minute wait and I had to wait in my car covid police all over the parking lot. Very rude

Had great service the day we went in to upgrade our phones. However, yesterday my son broke the screen on his phone. This was the only phone we requested protection coverage on, but when I looked up his phone to see how much the deductible was to replace the screen I found he did not have the coverage. Went to our paperwork from purchase where is shows Verizon Protect on the phones plan. Called Verizon, customer service rep went through history and found someone at the store canceled the protection. Due to pandemic I have been trying to contact the store by phone as we live an hour away. Can’t get through to even talk to a manager about this. Very frustrated!

I realize that we are in the middle of a pandemic but should that mean that we cant get services for our phone or get a new phone. I was looking to upgrade my phone and felt rushed through the process. Im not sure why spending time in the store with my mask on was a problem. I got a new phone activated, which was selected without being able to look at it and then I was handed the new phone still in the box to go home and finish the process myself. I feel like Verizons customer service is suffering greatly.
I just went into the store because the charge port on my phone is not working. I went in expecting to have a fight on my hands to get them to honor the warranty on the phone. I worked with Cara, and almost before I could explain the problem, she told me a new phone would be shipped to my home tomorrow. Cara was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was a painless process and it only took a few minutes of my lunch break to get my problem resolved.

Verizon has always been wonderful when it comes to just about anything. They are great when it comes to personal recommendations and suggestions. The staff here is very knowledgeable about the products and services that they offer. For the past ten years we have gone to this location and got our phones upgraded and check at this location.Got questions, just ask.

Walked in today to get a new power bank. A young man employed was standing up front watching something on his phone the entire time and refused to acknowledge we were waiting for assistance. New customers walked in after a few minutes and he finally put his phone down to ask if they needed help. Maybe don’t allow an employee to ignore customers on his phone in plain sight.:editGave this store a second chance for some reason today. Was put into queue this time, which was nice. Waited 20 minutes instead of 10, which I understand, it gets busy. But don’t take customers who walked in after me, before I get helped. Frankly terrible customer service.

Stopped in to address an issue with my phone. Gentleman took my name down, and said they would be with me shortly. 15 minutes later, a young girl came out, asked who was next. When I approached her, she said I couldnt come in without a mask. I stated there was nothing on the door about masks. She said We dont have to post it, its our rules She directed me back to the Verizon website to fix my problem. Need to post ALL the guidelines so we dont stand in the heat waiting to be rejected!
So Sad, this was always my favorite cell phone store before. Ive bragged on it. Ive taken no less than 5 different families into it when they were first becoming wireless families. I bring them here to help them get started.Then when My moms device malfunctioned after just 3 months, she wanted to make the 70 mile round trip to the store with me, to see what it is all about.At first it was great as always. She was floored that 4 -5 young people met us at the front door to be of service.Our clerk did not understand the problem, said we had to purchase a new device at FULL PRICE despite the 9 months remaining on the Warrenty, said we also needed a new SIM card, but he actually re-installed the old one.I asked about activation and he pushed a few buttons on his handheld computer/service module/receipt signing/ machine. Then he said that we were Activated - as he had just tested it.After driving all of the way back home, the NEW device was dead. I called back to the store. The person on the phone said that they didnt know what could be wrong, that they couldnt know why we were sent home with an UNACTIVATED broken device, that they couldnt help, that I couldnt talk to the clerk that we had, that there was no manager person in the store who may have more answers, AND that we had to call the common Verizon Wireless automated operator.I was embarrassed & humiliated. My mom was disgusted, and out $150. After being on the line at Verizon awhile, we luckily got a Tech who saw that the store clerk activated the new SIM card, true. BUT he put the old SIM into the device. Obviously his activation check of the actually device receiving the phone call (*228?), was BOGUS.
My solution specialist was very knowledgeable, friendly, and was able to help me solve the issue I came in for....thank you so much!!!!

High tech store with top shelf employees. Can be busy and have a wait time, but I would expect no less from the busiest Verizon store in Wichita. I don’t mind waiting, as i’ve been in here before. If i’m in a time crunch, i can set an appointment online, and that helps with the wait time. Staff is generally very friendly and helpful.
We had a great experience here upgrading to new phones. The representative who helped us was so kind, patient, and thoughtful. Love this store and glad to be a Verizon customer.
They are so undermanned and inflexible that they almost caused my grandson and I loose our flight. I asked them repeatedly for a little flexibility, but was politely ignored. Wait time at this location is terribly long. Ive been with Verizon for decades in Boston and California and never seen such slow response as in this Wichita location. They are driven only by the systems response and not by customer care. They act like polite robots. They could be replaced with AI and Verizon could make more money doing that.
The sales reps were very nice. Getting the service we needed took 4-5 hours due to having to involve several different Verizon support groups. Getting the new phone that was not bought through Verizon was way more difficult than it should have been. The last sales rep we worked with stayed after the store closed to make sure we had working phone service.
$100 more than Best Buy and they dont set your phone up. You have to do it yourself. Best Buy had a good sale on the phone but didnt have the phones.
Nate was very helpful this evening. He was able to take me directly to what I needed and was able to provide the accessories as a package deal. He also waited with me past store closing to make sure all my files transferred. Excellent service!!
My wife has Verizon and so far shes had nothing but trouble with Verizon on trying to charge her more every time and every time she has to keep calling in about it and it would get straightened out and then she gets another email bill went up again this happens every time and has trouble with phones with Verizon if Verizon would start doing people right more people may stay with them better instead of being greedy

Were ready to switch, but when me an my wife went to look at the phones and deals they have they told us only one of us could come in. Ridiculous and was rude about it as well. Guess verizon wont be getting our business after all.
Dont usually do this, but this has been the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. The person who I spoke to was extremely unpleasant, just because you have a miserable life does not give you the right to make your clients the same. We pay for these services in order to make your paycheck. Leave your attitude safe at home or at least be nice to who ever is nice to you.

Representatives and manager are inattentive and not very accommodating. More interested in making a sale than making sure their customers are taken care of. Was with T-Mobile for five years and feel like I down graded significantly in terms of customer service.

We purchased two new phones we didn’t receive any help. They didn’t help us transfer from our old phones. We came to Victra in El Dorado and were assisted by Nichole Chapman and Rachel Holman who went above and beyond for us. We weren’t satisfied with this stores customer service at all. Thank you Victra for giving us the time we needed and answered our questions and helping us.
Ok service but you always have to wait at this location. Expect to be there for at least an hour. I suggest going to Best Buy a few feet down the way to get better deals and service.

My father has been in ICU at Wesley for 2 weeks and my mother’s phone was misplaced. We went to the store with her previous phone to have it reactivated. We were met at the door by Adrian, which he opened for us, and then proceeded to answer our questions and assist us very professionally and with a kind heart and words of compassion for our father. Thank you Adrian for such a positive experience in a a time of distress.

Service was excellent. Stay away from the one in ELDORADO they have no clue what is going on. I had to drive to Wichita to get the help i needed. Their ability to help you with any questions are slim to none.
I might have had a bad first experience...but when you have to place your order twice and wait over 8 hours to switch service providers I think 3 stars is generous. Store is busy even on a Sunday, make sure to check on at the front door when you arrive. Good luck!
Associates at this location are not adequately trained. The only thing they know how to do is transfer content via the Verizon App. They have no in-house technology or training to assist with content transfer beyond the app. The App is flawed. Applications dont convey, Photos associated with contacts dont convey. The App glitches on non iPhones. They have no ability to problem solve, or think through and assist with any resolution beyond adding the Verizon Content Transfer App. Had several phones to get running because of a business service provider change. It was a terrible customer service experience. It wasnt just me, several other people were also having problems and their associates couldnt resolve. Twice customers were returning with technical issues doing something the associate told them to do. They told me one phone was too old and the content wouldnt transfer. It was obvious the app had a glitch. Came home, did online research. Downloaded a content transfer app from phone maker and content was transferred within minutes. Someone from Verizon Corporate needs to pay attention to this location. This crew needs training ASAP! Additional nit picky side note: Two women that tried to help me had those super long finger nails and couldnt adequately operate the phone. One gal said the problem was the phone because it kept locking up. It was the way her finger and nail were touching the screen, the phone had no problems. The nails looked great - but, not the best option for working with phones.If customers matter to Verizon. This location needs attention, there should always be someone on staff that can fix anything, or answer any questions. That fact that I googled my issue, resolved it within minutes is shocking. I am not tech savy.
Disappointed in the lack of customer service in this store.Typically, I purchase a new phone every 2-3 years. I went into the store wanting to know more about the recent changes and what my options were. I had a difficult time finding someone to assist me (most employees were with clients). When being helped, the sales associate was very pushy and eager for me to buy multiple products. Once I purchased the new iPhone, I was informed that I can take it home to activate it. Once home, I kept it on the charger for a few hours and it never turned on.Returning the phone and purchasing from a different location.
Went into Verizon with screen burn on phone. 10 minutes later a new phone is ordered and will arrive at our home tomorrow! Great service and timely!

The staff of this store is friendly and helpful. Verizon however, is being dragged kicking and screaming into the world of unlimited data, as those plans are still unaffordable. Furthermore the flow of spoofed calls continues. It should be easier for their system to block a VOIP call from India with a 316-650-XXXX. Especially since 650 is a Verizon mobile prefix!
They are a little slow on service but the folks there are very friendly and helpful.
Long wait for clerk, but answered all of my questions. Not many phones on display. Lots of accessories for newest smartphones and tablets. Decided to look for newer phone than mine, but not newest.

Good, clean, well lit store. My personal issue is, I think its silly to have to wait in line for a rep. Just needed a charger, could have got if off the shelf and done self check out. Waiting 20 minutes for help to buy an accessory isnt good customer service. This is ALL Verizon stores, its unnecessary.

I had a great experience getting new phones for my wife and I. They made everything easy and worked with us the whole time. But I have device dollars I dont read all the fine print I didnt know that was only usable when purchasing a new phone and only at the time of purchase. I was never asked about device dollars WHEN I BOUGHT 2 SAMSUNG GALEXY S9....NOT CHEAP and now 50 device dollars I HAVE BEEN SAVING FOR MONTHS TO USE ON SOMETHING. Will expire way before I buy a new phone. The staff is nice yes but knowledgeable I think not.
Every time Ive gone here I get the worst employee with a bad attitude. All I was trying to do is upgrade my phone. The employee, Randi, had a snotty attitude. I only asked questions about the device or plan options. She needs to take a lesson in customer service and body language. Its apparent she never has.The customer signs your paycheck honey, without us you dont have a job.
Was welcomed as soon as I walked into the door and was instantly offered help. For those that are unable to help themselves this is a great location to go for your cell phone needs.
Absolutely the worst service ever. You wait forever and if you buy your phone from verizon online they will give you the worst customer service. Not at all willing to help the people that pay a fortune for their monthly service. The management is horrible and they definitely treat you like they dont want to help.
***warning note 7 owners***Originally bought the note 7 at retail price as I didnt want the additional monthly charges on my bill.Got a text message (10-11-16) to do the final note 7 exchange, so i thought I would take the phone to the store rather than mess with online stuff. Was told by Jeremy that they dont do it in the store, so I went to the text message and tried to follow their process. Got to the end and if you are paying retail (again dont want the additional monthly charge) they want to charge you for the phone upfront. After finding out about this I called *611 and was on the phone with two different reps, 1 Upgrade rep and 1 telesales rep, for about an hour and a half. They confirmed with me that it is indeed you have to pay upfront for the phone and then youll be refunded for the note 7.... and then the telesales rep said the thing that made my night horrible..... or you could take it to the store and theyll swap it out there without having to pay up frontTo start isnt an exchange an I give you what I bought and you give me a replacement..... not hey you pay full price for this thingand well refund the old phone once we received it...... maybe I should take this to KAKE on your side as this is a safety recall and Verizon should be doing EVERYTHING in their power to keep customers safe. This store dont care about your safety?

The people were nice but I was having issues with my Verizon products but it would have cost me to much money to get a new phone which is broke. I live on SS couldnt come up with the money .
Staff seems under educated on the devices they sell. Have waited for 3 hours now. However they are courteous, and did give a free tempered glass protector for having to wait.
I have my ups and downs where Verizon is concerned, but thats how most people feel Im sure. However, this particular location may want to work on their employees phone etiquette. I always try to be pleasant when I call a business, but when Im treated rudely I end up doing it through clenched teeth. The woman who spoke with me today probably should not be the one answering the phone...
