I went in for an eye exam for glasses. Staff was friendly and courteous. The virtual exam was new to me. The optometrist is not actually on site. He appears on a video screen on the opposite wall, and controls the settings on the optical equipment remotely. The only thing a staff person had to do during the exam was lower the near-vision card for him for those tests. Tried to call the location at the number on the receipt just after five, but there wasnt any answer (it is an 888 number). On the prescription, no number is printed at all to contact if you have any questions about the script. This was very disappointing, but with the help of Google, I was able to answer my own question, yet it was something I *should* have been able to speak with someone about. Would recommend. Also, the exam is free if you buy glasses from Stanton. Pricing was similar with other similar optical locations, such as eyeglass world. If I did not already have plans to purchase elsewhere (I needed 3 pairs of glasses for me and two of my boys), I would have purchased from Stanton.

I got my eye exam done here and got two glasses basic for pretty good deal. The only issue not great customer service at the beginning. When I enter the store nobody addressed me for 15 minutes or so and then somebody just came up to ask what I need. The service was quite delayed so ensure that you have enough time when you come for eye exam especially. Other I noticed was that the machine readings and optometrist readings about my vision differed by 0.5 so I was worried, but the person who helped me pick my glasses gave me an option to come back for second free eye exam in case of doubt. My glasses earlier than the expected date and when I went to pick it up, a lady helped me out and she was great.

Tristan is amazing he has great customer service skills and is trying to make the store as good as he can. He is very soft spoken.Please be patient bc he his short staffed.And he just started a few weeks ago.

This was an amazing experience, it was a super fast super easy process that only took less than 30 minutes which is amazing compared to anywhere else I’ve been!!!!

Had an appoinment at 10.50am waited 30 mins before doing some of the eye exam. Finally get to go see the doctor and they tell me some how this other lady got put ahead of me in there system and has to go first so they dont have to cancel her appoinment. Here it is 12.30 noon and im still waiting to see the doctor. Would not recommend at all.

The eye doctor who did my eye exam was excellent. I have had difficulty getting a good prescription for years because of astigmatism and because my contacts rotate in my eye. He gave me one set of contacts, and when those didn’t quite work he took me back again to see how they were rotating, adjusted the prescription, and gave me a new set. I cannot remember the last time I have walked out of an eye exam with clear vision in my right eye!! So thankful!!

They were awesome! Affordable, only $45 for an eye exam! They were friendly and even though I showed up late for my appointment they got me in and out within an hour. Up to date technology, and did I mention friendly staff?

Very quiet and clean. Lauren addressed me as soon as I walked in, walked me through the exam and purchase process and was very friendly. It all went smoothly and everyone was friendly.

Total scam, went through process and waited two weeks for 1 of two pair of glasses. Received glasses and couldnt see a thing. Went back to store and was told to wear longer. Glasses were so far off that could not function in them. Went back again with same result . After 6 months get call from them telling me I havent picked up second pair. Explained again they were not right so asked me to come in and start over. I went for appointment and lost all faith in them when they were addressing me by wrong name. Then Manager looks up my prescription and tells me they dont have prisms, told her they were supposed to have dual prism then she yells me they do and only had 30 day warranty.. just want my 500 dollars back and go somewhere where they know what they are doing. Tried calling the number given by owner in response to previous response to a different victim only to get a automated system with no option to speak with live person. Also found the rubber stamp apology. Did get money back by protesting charges on card. Appears they may have new manager because she was pleasant and accommodating throughout return process. Definitely not person I dealt with two weeks ago.

I would give 0 but the assistant manager/Isabelle was the only friendly/nice employee.. never had the were glasses in my life until recently. They did not explain to me which frames would work best for bifocal lenses. Also upon picking them up they had the lenses split in the middle ( literally ) & I had to have them re-made ( which still did not get corrected, it was like they just took my glasses. Sat them in the back for 2 weeks and then gave me the same ones) . Upon picking them up they did not make sure they fit me correctly or that I could see properly out of them. Also for whatever reason the frames were completely sticky like syrup was on them and the lenses were foggy and dirty as heck... when I explained to the employee that Im new to glasses and I dont feel that all these issues are correct she said oh and then turned around and started talking to another employee about their personal life.. I ended up going to a another Optical place and come to find out Stanton did not even have my prescription correct. So the moral of the story is if you want to be cheap and go to Stanton go for it but I highly recommend you pay the extra fee and go to somewhere where the employees are friendlier and they have more experience / knowledge.

My wife didnt have insurance so we came here to get her and eye exam and glasses a fee months ago, and she fell in love with how awesome and kind and helpful the staff was then- I came in for my first appt today and I full heartily agree with her they are wonderful! Superhelpful! Awesome deals, and a huge collection of glasses to pick from I had a hard time picking just one! I highly recommend them!

The people working there were very kind and patient, the telemedicine doctor can come off as a bit impatient but not unkind. I think it is probably just an issue of being comfortable behind a computer and so he isnt thinking about his bedside manner as much. The pricing was okay, and the sales lady that helped me was very patient and worked with me to get me a good deal. You should understand when going there that their advertised prices dont necessarily take the lens into account, only the frames, and the lens can be just as much if not more than the frames, so take that into consideration. It would be nice if that were part of the advert but I went into it expecting it to be more expensive that advertised so it didnt drastically effect my opinion of the place.

This place is a joke! You cant even call the actual place to schedule an appointment. You get directed to a call center. Tell someone why you need the appointment, then get redirected to someone else and have to tell them all over again, then get hung up on! I finally decided to walk in to schedule an appointment, get one made. Show up for my appointment for them to tell me the doctor called in. They couldnt even call to tell me that before I showed up for the appointment. I ask for my contact and glasses prescription, they print it out. Get home and realize its someone elses prescription! So frustrating and unprofessional. I will NEVER go back here.

READ THIS... I had to leave a star just to review but I cannot believe the service I received here... Lets start by saying I was told one thing on the phone and another in person fine okay still not a bad deal then I go back to the doctor and he was very unprofessional I have an astigmatism and he said all the sudden I dont when I have for years? And all the sudden my eyes are the same power when they have always been several powers apart? And fresh look isnt a good brand? Oh the brand Ive used for years that works for me and these ones you handed me that HURT... I just need to blink and wear them? Uh..NO. I was told by Lauren it would be around $150 per person for me and my husband and when we finally go to pay she comes up with over $600!!!!!!!!! $90 just for lenses.. not the frames.. just lenses and no glare added thatll be an extra $20 oh and the $180 Nike glasses that are completely overpriced for the quality of plastic... The same $10 glasses I wore in you guys have priced for $129. I tried to reason with miss Lauren but she straight up was trying to hustle me out of my money. I NEVER feel this way or leave bad reviews, this being my first ever.. I truly cannot believe how unprofessional the doctor was, how rude and incredibly dishonest Lauren was from the beginning just so she could make a sale. Halfway through she was already huffing and puffing being rude but hey maybe she had a bad day right? No absolutely not. She just wanted to take as much money as she could from me after I told her what I wanted she still put in extra stuff and I kept telling her no and she just kept telling me I didnt understand. I understand that it should not cost $600 for 2 people to get an exam and a pair of glasses.. be warned if you dont buy the glasses or contacts and just get the exam they will charge you even more for not buying there. Who wants to pay $250 for a year of contacts when 1-800 contacts will sell me the same 1 year worth for $100 to my doorstep? THATS WILD. Do not waste your time with this very very VERY unprofessional business. I would not trust them with my eye health ever. I literally pulled the trial contacts out of my eyes and left them because no just no. You will not try and hustle me and be rude at the same time while wasting 3 hours of my time.

Scheduled an appointment for 10:00. They opened the door at 10:05 and accepted two walk in customers before my appointment. Then they informed me my prescription would take two weeks. The day before when I scheduled the appointment I provided details of my script and was assured same day service. Do not expect anything other than poor results

My husbands experience with the eye doctor was completely amazing and his eyeglasses were just what we were looking for at just the right price. however when we went to go pick up his glasses we had walked in and I believe her name was Rebecca Young rudely instructed us to put mask on otherwise she was not going to help us. Mind you we had our masks in our hands just hadnt put them on yet. My husband had said I hate wearing these mask, not to argue with her about wearing them but just in general. Right after my husband said that, Rebecca rudely said you dont intimidate me, almost like she having a power trip. I was completely shocked from her attitude and demeanor and her customer service skills. We didnt even stay to have her make sure they fitted him right. We will find somewhere else to help us with that! As we were walking out I had said thank you very much and have good rest of your day with a smile, she deliberately ignored me so I said have a good day again and she was very rude when she said, have a good day!!! I am very disappointed because I wanted to schedule appointments for my two children to get their eyes examined for the first time while we were picking up his glasses but as of now we will not be returning to a place that has poor customer service skills which makes me sad because the Price Is Right with good quality glasses.

Great experience! Clean office, lots of options to pick from, and stellar customer service. I was able to browse and ask questions about different frames, but they let me browse on my own. I enjoyed not having to deal with the typical pushy salesperson technique I have experienced at other businesses. Mary and Mark were great at explaining all the different lens options and getting me in and out the door fast. Stanton Optical prices can’t be beat and I had a new pair of frames in just two weeks.

I came in the first day as a walk in, because Incalled ahead and they said they would see me if I got there before 5:30 pm. Well at 5:10 they turned me away because they were full and I was pretty annoyed. But when I scheduled an appointment and got in it was super fast and easy. Basically dont walk in schedule an appointment its easier. The manager actually got my glasses made right in officeunm before ckose since I had a super easy prescription and I got my glasses same day at a semi decent price.
