I typically have a good experience at Verizon, I expect long periods of wait going in, which is understandable and doesnt tend to bother me. Today it was busy. I expected to wait a while, however, the flow was extremely quick. Bonus. Then, the best part of the day happened, Sheldon. I made sure to take a long look at his name tag before I left so I could leave a review dedicated to him. Sheldon was very kind, helpful, thorough, and down to earth. We did everything quickly and easily, and he didnt seem to mind our toddlers outbursts of excitement. Sheldon, if you see this, youre the man.
We went on a Sunday. It wasnt too busy, but soon became very busy. A guy tried to jump the line but a employee set him straight that we were next ( awesome, looking out for the customer). The tech was very knowledgeable, talked fast but he spent as much time as we needed to make our decision. We didnt feel rushed at all even though the store filled with customers quickly. He wasnt pushy with extras. I got just what I wanted and left the store feeling good about my new phone. Verizon is a bit more expensive then other carriers, but people pay for it because they are worth it. I very rarely lose signal (only when Im in the middle of nowhere). Ive been a customer for 21 years now. I dont plan on changing anytime soon.
Do not go to this Verizon! I ask for a phone with talk and text ONLY! They told me they can block everything else on the phone so I would only have talk and text... I paid a $102.34.. come to find out they didnt block anything on the phone like they said they could do... so I took it back and Verizon rep. Said ok it should be block now so I left come to find out it wasnt again .... so after 4x back to there store I returned the phone and asked for a refund... they gave me a refund of $10.59... for a phone I never used and only had for 5 days... so they took almost $90 from me for a service or phone I couldnt use... I find that very bad business and poor customer service!!!
Showed up today to trade in my phone, I asked about a deal that was online, when I was told it was expired I was ready to trade in and upgrade anyways! The man working immediately took my phone, without explanation and started fiddling with it, no big deal, alarming but that’s okay. What caused us to leave was the way he was addressing his female associate, VERY condescending, even though she was the one we would have preferred to do business with. He started offering ways to fix my phone, and although we appreciate the suggestion, we really just wanted to upgrade. We left after he wouldn’t listen to us and started treating us the same way he was treating his colleague.
Clean store, nice employees, lots of stock. They were patient while I worked out some bogus account management issue. Pretty bummed they couldnt offer me the good trade in offer I went in for but it is a Verizon issue and not really their fault.
Great location to purchase your new phone or to ask questions about your plan. Everyone is helpful and wants to give a great customer experience every time. Highly recommend this location at the Loyalsock plaza
If I could give less then one star I would. The young man who assisted us didn’t explain much of anything left us twice to go “check in” other customers having complete conversations with them, whom I heard were walk ins he was having wait.Had me signed up for a plan that made no sense and then further insult messed up my address so the phone that we ordered wasn’t able to be delivered. Rushed through to assist people who walked in although we had an appointment. We were going to get two apple watches in addition to the new 12 pro max but he couldn’t be bothered to actual listen to us.Horrible experience, the customer service I spoke with over the phone had to switch it all out for me and got it corrected and thoroughly explained everything. If you ever need actual assistance Robert from the Verizon call center is a godsend.
I wanted to say Thank You to Brett and Cody! They both went above and beyond to assist my cellphone challenged mother when she came into your store with a broken phone.I live 1200 miles away in Florida and couldnt help her they stepped in and got her back up and running with a new phone. I believe she even got a little user lesson from Cody.Guys Thank You and I hope Verizon appreciates the professionalism and patience you show your customers.
I had never been in this Verizon store before and the lines seemed long for a Sunday but their competent Associates helped solve my issue and I was done and out of there. Thank you.
Nice reps. However, they do not mention the $50 restock fee if you return the phone withing 14 days even if you get a new one. There is also a $30 set up fee to put in your sims card not mentioned. Buy it elsewhere and it is easy to do the card yourself.

I went into Verizon Wireless to cancel a line of service. I waiting for 30 minutes to see someone and they told me I had to call an 800 number to do that. I then sat on hold for 45 minutes before Verizon answered the phone.
I wasn’t in a place/store but was very happy with the rep that answered my call. He was very professional and easy to understand.

My experience with Verizon occurred while getting a new phone to replace my 7 year old one. There were problems with the new phone. I went to the Store in Loyalsock where I met Aaron. He was terrific. He was tenacious, smart, and went beyond the required effort. Eventually he got the phone working and helped get my old one wiped clean and returned. Thru all this he was patient, and very personable. Thank you Aaron and Verizon.
They are shady & will tell you anything to get you to buy something!! Customer service is horrible to say the least and resolving any issues cant be done here. Save your time and money.. go somewhere else.

It seemed like the other employees were nice and helpful. However, Michael treated us as if we were inconveniencing him. He thought, we should have done our homework before coming in. Also, it wasnt his job to know all the processing programs. We left the store and no phone.
Today my phone broke so I went to the store to use my upgrade. When I walked in I was greeted with smiling faces who were ready to help me. The employee who helped me was Cody. He was AMAZING!! I wasnt too sure what I wanted. I had the Samsung S6 and needed something with a great camera to promote me business. He knew right away what to suggest. He listened to me and showed me how to use both phones he suggested.When I decided on the phone he took his time making sure I had everything I wanted/needed. He even found a bundle deal for me. If you ever have an issue I highly recommend talking with Cody! He is super nice and very helpful.
Went in to lower my monthly bill. Brett Schneider waited on me and helped me lower my monthly payment. He was very professional and very polite. Kudos to Brett.

I took my 90-year-old, mentally alert aunt in to get a very basic cell phone. Michael waited on us and he could not have been more respectful and helpful to my aunt . We first went to T-Mobile where the girl seem to not want to be bothered with an “older person “. My Aunt purchased the phone and service from Verizon even though it was a little more expensive.
I have zero issues with Covid19 until Verizon said I had to wait outside until it was my turn. However, waiting just outside the door is public space where cigarette smoking is allowed. I get quite ill being around cigarette smoke, even if the cigarette had recently been put out. I got sick to my stomach, nearly vomited, got dizzy and so on. The manager said he did not have the authority to make people stop smoking outside his store and there was nothing he could do. Afterwards, it occured to me the collective store managers who rent in Loyalsock Plaza could collectively approach the the owners of the property and ask him/her/them to ban smoking in front of stores and perhaps put designated smoking areas at either of the parking lot.
Needed to purchase a new phone and I asked to look at what was available. Their reply was were not doing that right now and wouldnt let me in. I was confused as there were other customers in the store....I had a mask on.
So much better than it was 2 years ago, better service, better layout in store, much faster.
Incomplete set up of phone I paid nearly $1,000.00 for; poor explanation of services I am still paying for but which work poorly if at all; one tells me 1 thing, another contradicts him; gave salesman $100.00 gift to set up phone for me and he did squat before running out the door. No trust for Verizon at all any more. Cant wait till contract is up.

As many other reviewers pointed out, there is usually quite a lengthy wait at this location. As it is one of the few full service Verizon locations in our area you tend to have to deal with it. I visited today to upgrade my phone. I was surprisingly attended to right after arriving and left with my new phone completely set up within half an hour. They were fairly busy at the time too, though had plenty of staff to meet eveyone’s needs.
I was Verizon customer 4 yrs ago. Visited the store looking for a signal greater than 1 bar. Employee said you only need 1 bar to have fun.
Had some tech who seemed to be offended by seniors and thinks we are stupid. Besides he smelled of very strong gum. Offered me no real solution to my problem!
Roman was awesome!!! The store is always busy but he thanked me right away and brought me a bottle of water. He also got me a new plan and a lot more bang for my buck. The I pads were apparently not cooperating, but not only did he know his stuff he was entertaining and made me laugh. Not only that he walked me out and held the door for me... Who does that!?!?!

Generally, I HATE this place. I pay too much for cell service and its like entering the lions den for upsales in this joint. Today, made me a believer. Ian/Ean and Jesse not only fixed my major mess-up but took care of us in real time with my online order. They saved my day and made my kids day since we got to leave with their iPhones. Thanks guys!
Kept inquiring about the Google Pixel explicitly saying the first one. Salesperson just kept trying to jam the 2 down my throat. Then said it had a better camera and didnt say anything when she pulled up both cameras specs revealing they had the same MP for both rear and front facing. Eventually left cause they were saying how they gave me the wrong phone 2 years ago, attempting to discredit other branches. Think their name was Jennifer.
Really not pleased on last two encounters with this store, first time I preordered the note 10 5g. Waited for 2 weeks waiting on tracking number. Went in the day before it was released to find out the order was never submitted. Still trying to get all the promotions offered on the preorder like the trade in credit. Luckily Samsung honered the 150 Samsung bucks. Now after calling Verizon about why my new phone is still not connecting to my watch to find out you cant use the sim card from a old phone to the newer ones especially the 5g capable ones. Alot of people there are helpful but they really need to train better

Joel was excellent and so pleasant, very helpful! I would recommend him to anyone! He went above and beyond, seems to really like his job! You dont see that a lot anymore. This was in the loyal plaza on the Golden Strip. Iam olderand not good with electronics and hewas very patient with me, plus also did a follow up! 😊

The worst store ever. The sales associates (Roman) are con artists and the store manager (Eric) is a coward. Promised us free services and equipment that we were charged for. Attempted to get a refund, and they lied and scammed even more. This is NOT A REAL VERIZON. Its just an affiliate. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Verizon Wireless should be ashamed and hold this store accountable for the bad business and terrible customer service.

This place is the worst Verizon store that Ive been shopping in! I will never go here again. They told me they couldnt even order the phones my husband and I wanted. So we went to the Verizon store out towards Montoursville (TCC VERIZON) and they had one of the phones we wanted and they ordered the other! Travel a couple of miles and be happy with the service there! I will from now on.

This place is always busy, and you have to wait, frequently about 20 minutes before speaking to a sales agent, no matter the reason for you being there. They always want to sell you something more than you need.

Worst experience ever in a Verizon corporate store. The whole contact with the sales rep was negative and degrading to me as a customer. Neither of the managers produced any apologies for their ill mannered sales rep. Though through simple respective communication handled my problem that arose initally from the sales rep, not knowing the products being offered to customers.

I went in to exchange an item. The man at the front desk took my name and told me I was the next person in line. I waited. After I waited about 10 minutes, they proceeded to help the next two customers that came in AFTER me. I figured since they were not going to make any money from me by just exchanging an item that they took the other two customers before me. There is never an easy in and out at this store.
I have never in my life walked into this Verizon store and not left angrier than when I came in. A manufacturer defect needed fixed on my mothers phone, so we came in and proceeded to wait in line. No big deal. However, once it was our turn, we were told well you can use this app. If I wanted to continue using a different feature, instead of the one that should be working on my phone, I wouldnt have come in today. After 45 minutes of the worst customer service I have ever seen, I stepped out to the car while my mother was waiting, upon return(15 minutes later) her phone was still sitting on the counter and nobody had come out of the back yet. Are you kidding me? I know hospitality isnt top notch here compared to the South where Ive lived for years, but this is a joke. We were being helped by two people, and I had finally had enough. At one point I watched Dana sit on YouTube, Facebook, and then very nonchalantly say oh, haha, I have to go to the back and call my neighbor I just watched my dog escape his crate and hell eat my house. Haha. Ill be back!. All during the 30 minute time frame where nothing was being done to the phone except for making excuses as to why it didnt work. Thank God I no longer live here and dont have to deal with this store anymore. The people that are working here wouldnt understand customer service if it slapped them upside the head.
Not as happy with verizon as I used to be
Came here with my daughter. The manager Alyssa, was extremely rude to her and seemed very overwhelmed. Roman, the other young man was not very helpful either. He was trying to sell to my granddaughter before he fixed her problem. We will be going to Lewisburg from now on.

The guys that I dealt with did everything they could to work out my problems. It took a little while, but finally got all of my issues taken care of.
There is always a wait of at least 30 minutes or more... not sure who is to blame, but there is never enough employees to handle the volume of customers.
