I think these guys are fair and honest and they really know their business, I definitely would recommend.

Great service there..... Owner is direct and doesnt sugar coat anything. Prices are very fair and doesnt try to rip you off with things you dont need. One of the few mechanics I have met that I actually trust.

I got a flat at the corner of Wilmette Road and Ridge due to the street construction. I pulled into the lot of the Wilmette Auto Service which is a gas station also and started to take the tire off so I could put air in it to see the cause of flat. A gentlemen from the business comes out and says we dont have insurance for you to jack your car up in our parking lot you have to do that in the street. What a terrible way to do business not an offer to fix that for you. Perhaps even let us take a look at that tire or any helpful comment just get out of our parking lot.

Always had good work done here at reasonable prices. In and out quickly for tire work.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I got a flat across the street and went to shell to find some WD-40 to remove a rusted tire with no avail. So I figured id go to Wilmette Auto Service for some assistance. The old guy was a completly useless when I asked if he had any WD-40 for sale and was compleyly rude. I was even going to see if I could bring him my car but before I even got a chance to bring that off he drove me away with his attitude like I was an inconvenience to him. I wont suspect this place to stay open much longer. Already looks run down.
