I found Bavarian through Dinan (a performance company for BMW) as one of their recommended installers. I called to have a tune installed on my car and whomever I spoke to on the phone was incredibly polite and worked around my schedule when I mentioned I couldn’t drop my car off. The day I came in to get my tune done, the man at the desk was chatting up another customer and they seemed to know each other. When my turn came up the same man took my information and then we talked about common issues my X5 would have, other cars, and the other car related subjects. I was relieved by this conversation and the one I overheard while waiting in line because it showed me that not only do they know their customer, but they’re car people too which means I know that my vehicle was in good hands. It was also a huge relief to see that they were just as friendly in person as they were over the phone, and that their existing customers seemed happy with them. The tune took about an hour to do and I sat comfortably in their waiting room. I was given a complimentary and VERY thorough report on my car. These guys are the equivalent of surgeons when it comes to all things BMW. I will definitely be returning for maintenance and repairs. Highly recommend.

Ive been having my 2005 330xi serviced at Bavarian Performance BMW for over 10 years. I now live in Southern New Hampshire, and still find it worth the trip down to Winchester Massachusetts to have the Bavarian do all the work. Their staff is highly trained and professional. Ive found them to be not only super competent, but trustworthy and honest. They even talked me out of spending $1,000 for something I was convinced I needed, but they educated me that I was wasting my money. Where do you find that these days?

Excellent serviceI dropped off the car to the shop for diagnostic mid day on Monday. By the afternoon they had already called me to give me an estimate. Which is, according to my experience, a lot less than what I would pay at the dealer. So I thought they would keep the car for a few days, because there was quite a few things to do. But by mid day Wednesday, they called me to tell me that the car was ready. I was pleasantly surprised. Driving the car from the shop to my house, I could feel the difference.

Highly recommended. I took my 2013 BMW 335xi for retrofitting carplay and they did a great job - clean install, on-time and everything fully functional. They also helped me check for any mechinanical issues and replaced my worn out control arm bushings and now my car rides 10x better. Pricing is good/competitive for BMWs. Outstanding service from an otherwise unpretentious business! My BMW unfortunately developed serious suspension problems during a short visit to Boston. They were not only able to squeeze me into their busy schedule to look at my car, but they even had parts delivered the same day and got me on my way for my 4 hour trip back home! Check engine light on and in need of inspection sticker, hence diagnostics performed revealing mass airflow and valve covers needed replacement. Check engine light is now off, going for an inspection sticker after I drive it 100 miles to clear the code, fingers crossed!

I had been using the same mechanic for two decades and recently I needed to add a backup camera to my X3. Bimmertech gave me a few choices of mechanics, after reading the hundreds of reviews I chose Bavarian. From my first call to my pickup date David was very professional and his team delivered more than I asked for by finding two additional issues my current mechanic didn’t find after spending $$$ with him recently.David provided a quote and timelines for installing the Bimmertech solution, fixing the found issues that have to do with safety and fixing one of the items my previous mechanic actually caused.David is the most professional non OEM dealer I have ever experienced, Professional, On time, On Budget, Integrity, Honesty is hard to come by in the mechanics world. Came in for a backup camera retrofit on my BMW 320i. They were professional and super helpful. I reported a small issue with my backup camera, and within 24hrs, Andy (owner) got back to me with a solution. They do good work and they make sure you are satisfied even AFTER you leave their shop... you cant say that about everybody.

I was looking for a good BMW mechanic around my area. Based on previous reviews from customers I choose BPG...Great choice! They perform brake fluid flush and install Jack Pads that my car was missing. Dave was great answering my questions (first BMW) and concerns. I would definitely recommend this shop to any BMW customer.

Tried BPG for the first time and was not impressed. I brought the car in to have the door locking mechanism fixed and received a quote for repairing the lock and the rear brakes. Interestingly, the rear brakes were replaced less than a year and 10k miles ago by the dealer. And, the car was dealer maintained in June and rear brakes were checked and stated as fine. Two months after dealer says rear brakes are fine, BPG says the rear brakes need replacing at a price higher than the dealer charged last November. Looks like for now, I’m sticking with the dealer for maintaining my 3 series.

When I finally acquired a BMW my mechanic told me he lacked the experience to work on it. I located Bavarian Performance Group near my work and have been very happy with my experience since. They have performed major work (head gasket/head rebuild) and normal maintenance flawlessly. They keep in constant communication, stick to the estimate, and have continuously exceeded my expectations. They certainly have a high level of experience and only use the best approved parts.

Shopped around available DINAN specialists in my area before committing to an upgrade for my car. Andy and the folks at Bavarian were by far the most helpful and upfront, even without me committing to get the work done there. Once there, they took the time to answer all of my questions regarding my vehicle, even explaining to me why I shouldnt do certain things to the car. Easily could have had me come in to do these things and get my money, but paradoxically have earned my future business, and that of my fellow enthusiasts, by providing me with courteous, honest advice.

BPG services my daughter’s X3 diesel and my X1. These folks really know BMW’s and are not only technically great, they also take the time to fully explain any work that needs to be done and have an overall terrific customer service approach. I would certainly recommend BPG as honest, reliable and just great folks to deal with.

Very bad experience, did work on my bmw, car came back running worse and with a $3,000 bill.

I cant say enough about the knowledge and professionalism of Andy without his vast experience I would have had to bring the car to the junkyard. My 325 would die while going down the highway (very scary). Andy was able to figure out the catalytic converters were clogged. And worked with me to come up the most economical repair. I have my car back now and it runs better than it has in years. Thank you BPG.

28 Reviews, all 5 stars. That should say enough. These guys are the best. Ive service my E34 M5 and E82 128i with these guys, and they always come through for me and go the extra mile. I had them recently replace the valve cover, VC gasket, and oil filter housing gasket on my 1 series. While doing the work, they noticed I had a reverse light out. They could have easily ignored it as it wasnt part of the scope of work, but instead they let me know it was out and replaced the bulb while only charging me for the part. These guys genuinely care about the BMWs that they service, thats why theyre the best.

I dont usually get work done at a shop but lack of time and the complexity of the work I needed done it made sense to have someone do the work for me. From recieving the more than reasonable quote to getting the work completed was fast. I did have a small problem with the car after picking it up and the way Dave handled it was above and beyond expectations. I will use them for future work. Based on my first experience I recommend these guys if your bimmer needs some love.

Bavarian Performance Group is the only place I take my BMW to be serviced. The team provides great customer and auto service and will not pressure you into getting something fixed if it is not critical or required. I brought in my 650 because I had been hearing a grinding noise in the brakes and suspected that I needed new pads. Of course, the day after I made the appt, the noise stopped, but I still brought the car in. Dave was great, the place is amazingly clean and his dog is darn cute. They arranged a low cost rental for me and I was off. A couple hours later, Dave calls and tells me the pads have plenty of meat on them and they inspected everything and it all looks fine.. Something probably got stuck under one of the pads and finally got free. So I get there to pick up my car, and there was no charge, except for the rental, which is totally fair as its from Hertz anyway.I was really impressed with their honesty. I was totally prepared to drop several hundred bucks that I obviously didnt need. Im not sure if other independent shops would have been that honest, but Im glad Bavarian was.

This place is amazing..They made you feel like home and the service is great. Something that I really appreciate about this place is their transparency to tell you about what problem your car might be facing. One time, I even was welcome to come to the place where they fix cars and I was impressed by how clean the whole place was. In addition, the waiting room is equipped with Wi-Fi, NetFlix and great TV.

I have been going to Bavarian Performance Group (BPG) for several years now. I have taken my previous two cars, a 5 series, and mini cooper here for service.Dave is very professional and friendly, and the whole staff really cares about the customers.Recently, I took my still under warranty 550i for diagnostics to BPG as the local BMW dealer was not able fix the issue.BPG acknowledge the humming issue. They recommended that I take the car back to the dealer as the car is still under warranty to replace the wheel bearing (costs $800 to replace).The best part is Dave waived the diagnostics fee as I have been a long time customer!!Needless to say, I will be going back tp BPG for all my non warranty service.

Called up to ask about a general question and have a pre-purchase inspection done and the customer service was spot on. The service tech answered all my questions.
