We were quite pleased working with The Big Screen Store in Winchester. We bought our TV and sound bar on a Friday, it was delivered the next day and the picture was tested by the delivery crew, and then mounted a few days later by the installation crew. We were happy with everyone involved. Sales people were knowleagble and much less obnoxious than most sales people. Prices were very competitive. Sales people gave the impression of trying to sell us what we want without too much upselling of things we didnt need or want. I would recommend them.

Went to the Big Screen Store after a lot of hassle from BestBuy. I was in the market to buy a 75 Q90T. I spoke to James, and man oh man, the customer service was the best I have ever had. Seriously!!! He respected that I knew what I was talking about, offered for me to come look at the other models, and even after I made up my mind on the more expensive TV, actually suggested I look at a cheaper one to see if I really could tell the difference. Thats respect man! I am so please with my TV, and I will 100% be back to get my sound bar from him in the near future. Awesome guy, awesome store, awesome experience!!!

James was very knowledgeable and took a lot of time to show us all the options available. Delivery was scheduled for Oct 31, 2020, but we were able to make space available by Oct 24, and the Fairfax store (Winchester was closed on the day we made the change) was very helpful in changing the date. The delivery persons were right on time and very efficient in the installation process. A great experience all around for us.

We have an older television that we purchased from James. We added a new sound system and had some trouble getting the home system integrated. We contacted several companies to help us with out getting any help. We called James and he put us in contact with the Big Screen Store Team. The Team got us on the schedule quickly, and they sent out Romeo and Mike. They assessed the problem and got our system back online. The whole Team is great including James.

We bought a 65 Samsung TV from The Big Screen Store in Winchester the first week of June after shopping at several stores. James the salesperson was very helpful and definitely more knowledgeable than any other store we went to. They delivered our TV the next day on a Saturday. The delivery men wore masks and were very efficient and friendly. Since we were having the TV installed over our fireplace the installation was set up promptly for the beginning of the following week. Romeo and Jeff were our installation crew. They also wore masks and were efficient and made sure the TV was centered and level. This is not always an easy task when fireplaces and walls are not always level etc. They accomplished the job with a smile in their voices. Of course with masks it is hard to see a smile.

If you like Samsung products, you will definitely want to check this place out. Pricing is completely competitive to the Big Box stores, but the personalized customer service and degree of salespersons knowledge is at a completely different level. And delivery/installation was also excellent - not just farmed out to some third-party service. We were 100% satisfied, and the 12-month financing with no interest was just the icing on the cake.

I go to the Big Screen store for the service over the prices. They have great service personnel, that do great installation. No wires on the walls once they are done. Very professional and reliable. I will continue to use them whenever I purchase Television and AV.

Sales experience was good. James is very knowledgeable about the products as mentioned in many of the reviews. Service after the sale was poor. Installers came when scheduled, but then told me they didnt have the correct mounting bracket. Left and came back with what they said was the correct bracket. Then told me I would need a power strip, which I had also ordered but was told they didnt have. The installer then said I would be refunded for the missing item. No refund or follow up from The Big Screen Store. I had to call and ask about the refund. James told me he was on vacation and was unaware of any issues. He also called to explain that the installers did have the product but it was defective not incorrect and that the installers did have the power strip with them but made a mistake. Huh? Now I am left wondering if the installers mounted a defective bracket and why there was so much confusion about what they had and what they didnt. If I hadnt called James myself, would anyone have responded? I asked for the missing power strip to be mailed, which it promptly was. Still no follow up or effort to communicate or to improve a poor experience beyond being sent what I paid for nearly a month later. I expected more for the cost of the product and installation services. If you have lots of extra money and low expectations, then The Big Screen Store is probably a good fit for you.

James Magnotti in the Winchester VA store has the rare skill of not only listening to what each customer wants to know about various TVs and sound systems, but James then provides useful information in terms the customer can understand. However, he doesnt stop there. This is where he excels.For example, he sets up demonstrations in the store to allow each customer to actually EXPERIENCE picture and sound comparisons of different TVs (not just a list of features). The customer gets to SEE and HEAR differences that may be of interest to the customer.In other words, James is an excellent teacher, who does not try to sell TVs. The customers sell themselves with their new awareness and understanding of what is available in areas important to them.The bottom line here is that each customer is able to buy a TV with a confidence that he or she is getting what they really want. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at the Big Screen Store, mostly because of James. The store itself is definitely great, but its James who makes the store fantastic. He was so patient and friendly. He is extremely knowledgable about every single item in the store, and was able to give us loads of information for every question we asked. He also took the time to get to know us and asked great questions to narrow down his large selection to what we might want because we didnt really know (such as where we planned on putting the new TV, how big our TV stand was, what we liked and didnt like about our old TV, etc). I didnt think of those details, but luckily he did, and with his help we ended up with a wonderful 65 inch Samsung TV, which we absolutely love, and it looks great in our living room. My wife and I are in the process of finishing a house in WV. We had a certain amount of our tax refund money set aside to purchase a TV (and accessories). On the recommendation of some of my family who live in Annapolis, we contacted the Big Screen Store and were connected with Shae from the Winchester office.We corresponded back and forth with Shae over a 6-week period. During this time, I was nothing but impressed with Shaes helpfulness and professionalism. It started from the first phone call. Many salesmen will initially try to sell what weve got, not what they want. Instead, before giving any advice at all, Shae began by asking me many questions.How big is your living room? When do you do most of your TV watching? What type of programming do you watch most? etc. After a few minutes, when he felt he had a good handle on our specific needs, THEN he said, Okay, based on what youve told me, HERES what Id recommend...Of course, I immediately trusted him because of this. He was patient with us through the process as we sorted out our budget. He went over and above in arranging delivery to my elderly grandparents in Annapolis until we could pick the items up, and helping me facilitate the purchase through relatives (living out of state, they were unable to take my payment over the phone). What could have been a nightmare became a very easy process.Because of the trust I had in Shaes expertise and the patience he had shown in getting to know me and my specific needs, it was easy for me to purchase a wall mount, blu-ray player, and Bose sound system from him as well when he recommended them.I know companies hear too many horror stories of terrible customer service, and I wanted to take the opportunity to praise one of your salesman for an outstanding job earning our business. We purchased an 84 inch Samsung QLED TV that is fantastic. James is a good salesman but not pushy. He knows his products very well and will give the pros and cons of each. They only sell Samsung so if you want to compare with other brands you need to go elsewhere. I have a Samsung Plasma which I have had for ten plus years without any issues and a great picture at 65 inches. The store offers a very good and reasonable extended warranty much better than the big box stores. Their delivery service is excellent and will unbox and check the TV before the installation team arrives.The installation team is good for removing the old TV and hanging the new one. If you have a high end sound system as I did with all top of the line Marantz AVP and amplifiers than find a company that specializes in high end audio/video systems. The Big Screen guys are plug and play only. I had an issue and it took days to correct and Crutchfield from whom I purchase the Marantz equipment finally found a solution. The Big Screen Store was not much help during the troubleshooting since they have no experience in high end audio/video equipment. Jason the General Manager apologized and refunded part of the installation monies which was fair. If you are just buying a better or larger TV and using a sound bar as many are today than they are the folks for you.Bottom line is that James is a good man and will not steer you wrong. Overall the company is sincere and honest. They want you to be happy with your purchase.

OK, after reading most of the reviews, I’m not surprise that James Magnotti III is representing the Big Screen Store in a “Big” way! His experience and knowledge with Samsung products provided the confidence my wife and I appreciated in purchasing our premium Samsung QLED 65 Curved TV, Curved Samsung sound bar, and Samsung 4K Blu-ray DVD player. We would be remised if not mentioned of the outstanding job the delivery team accomplished in starting our new big screen experience!Thank you James & delivery team for a great customer experience!

I bought my first television from James Magnotti at the Winchester VA Big Screen Store in November 2013. I purchased an extended warranty service plan that gave me an additional 4 years of coverage on top of the 1 year manufacturer warranty. In December 2015 this 75 inch television started to act up and therefore required service covered under the extended warranty. This was not a minor problem as the technician had to replace the main board ( brains of the tv ) and the power supply. Since that first repair I have had to have the same main board and power supply replaced two more times at roughly 10 month intervals. The most recent event occurred in July of 2017. Clearly this television was a very expensive lemon. I was patient with the process until the technician who came out and replaced the same parts for the third time with no success declared the television unrepairable. At this point I was under the impression that the television would be replaced after having the same problem occur three times within the first four years of ownership. Warrantech, the company that provides the extended warranty program, told me that they would need to have a second company, a company that had been here before to repair the television, come out to confirm the decision of the other company that said the television was unrepairable. This would have been a fourth visit for the same exact problem. I was livid and that is when James Magnotti stepped up to the plate. I knew that the warranty company was trying to get the television through the extended warranty period and send me on my way with a television that did not work properly. James spoke to and wrote emails to all the right people in upper management at The Big Screen Store who in turn spoke with the higher ups at the warranty company. James let everyone know that enough was enough and got the problem taken care of. My television is now being replaced which is a big load off of my mind. James Magnotti truly cares about his customers and will go the extra mile to make sure that they are treated properly and are satisfied with their Big Screen Store experience. I am also impressed with the GM at the Big Screen Store who listened to James regarding my issues and stepped up also by dealing with Warrantech who provides the extended warranty. I would like the thank James Magnotti and The Big Screen Store for finally getting my issue resolved. If you need a television I highly recommend seeing James Magnotti at the Winchester VA Big Screen Store. The peace of mind knowing they have your back is reason enough.

We bought our first Samsung tv from James at the Big Screen store in Winchester in February of 2015 and were really impressed with his knowledge and his help with that purchase. Now fast forward to the present, unfortunately we started having some issues with the tv and got in contact with James, we tried several options and the hard reboot several times to no avail. Finally just this week, James contacted us and let us know that not only were we getting a replacement tv, but a 2016 upgraded model from the one we had. Honestly, we were not expecting that, but were very glad to hear that news. James was great to work with through all this and he contacted corporate in our behalf, thus securing this new tv and I might add that he is having the new one delivered to us and pick up of the older one for absolutely no charge. Would I recommend James and the Big Screen store? That would be a 110% definite yes. Thank you James for going that extra mile for us, we will be forever grateful.

I bought my first HD TV from their Sterling, VA store in 2003, a very nice Mitsubishi 65.That very nice TV died two weeks ago after a power hit. (I did have a surge protector, but when you have a 13 year old HDTV, it doesnt always work. After about 45 minutes, considering what I saw in the other showrooms, and looking at the total cost of the SUHD that best met my parameters, I said lets do it.Two days later, I had my Samsung KS8000 65 TV delivered by a very competent pair of delivery/installation people. They were right on time, efficient, and knowledgeable. (sorry guys, I forgot to get your names, but I hope management appreciates you).I am a bit of a Scotsman when it comes to spending. Even though the prices were comparable to most others, I might have been able to get a little bit lower, but the quality of service more than made up for a few dollars.When you are spending a considerable sum on an entertainment product, there are a lot of variables. Having someone who knows their products and services and is able to communicate knowledge can save you a considerable amount of time and aggravation.I highly recommend James Magnotti III as a sales advisor and The Big Screen Store for their products and services. (I also got a great deal on the Samsung 4K Blu-Ray player)

I would like to thank James Magnotti in helping me with my second purchase of a Samsung TV. I bought my first Samsung TV 2 years ago and today I upgraded with the 65 inch SHUD curved TV. James had a lot of knowledge and he knew what I was looking for in a TV. I will tell all my friends to see him at the store to buy a big TV.
