I got something in my eye and when I called them luckily they had a cancellation so I was able to come in right away. Everyone at the office was so nice and welcoming, I had never been to an eye doctor before so I was really nervous but the nurse and the doctor made me feel so much better! I would recommend this place to anyone in need!!

Dr Amy Ward was my wifes and my eye doctor years ago until she relocated out of state. We of course had to switch to another practice, which we both found satisfactory.Recently, I had what I thought was a possibly serious condition regarding my vision. I called the provider who I had been with for many years, and (to make a long story short), they said there was no way the could get me in for several weeks, due to the current pandemic.In desperation, I called Aloma Eye Assoc. and pleaded my case. The associate was very professional and said to leave my phone number., and she would talk with Dr Ward and call me back. From the moment the girl answered my first phone call, it seemed different from all of my other recent experiences. I thought, “If the person who answers the phone is THAT good, this doctor must hire good quality staff and care about the little things.” I was not disappointed! Originally, I was only going in for glasses, but after seeing how competent everyone is and what a great experience I had with Dr. Ward, I will not be going back to my other ophthalmologist. Great service and personal attention, My wife and son both use Amyand as a first time client I was very impressed with both the set up of testing equipment and design lay out, very efficient AND FRIENDLY STAFFAmy took the time needed to address any concerns, made suggestions after probing questions on how I would use the glasses.Opted for several pairs - indoors reading and computer use and one set up for outdoor golf...( I couldnt see the ball hit the green form 150 yards )Live in Longwood and the short 1/2 hour drive is well worth the time for such service......Recommend Highly!

My condition required a referral from Dr. Ward to a corneal specialist and the doctor/office went out of their way to make sure the specialist saw me immediately. Aloma Eye staff did not help me over the phone today and refused to fax over my prescription to me. The tech on the line refused to provide that data even though I explained that my glasses are broken and I need my prescription to order new ones online. She was very loud and rude, and hung up on me and refuses to call the Dr. saying its not an emergency. Its not an emergency for her but for me I have no glasses. She said I need to wait until Monday before they can call me back. This creates an additional three-day delay for me with no glasses. If I can give a zero I would for this unhelpful place. They dont understand that these are special times where people cant do certain things such as going to the optometrist to get a new eye exam. So what if the prescription has expired, its still valid to me, my vision didn’t change, and I would still be using my glasses if they didnt break. Today’s phone call was such a disappointment and I wish the staff were more compassionate, understanding, and respectful

Dr. Amy Ward and her team put the word CARE in eye care. I just finished my new patient visit and am beyond impressed with the 360-degree care Aloma Eye Associates provides. When you are a high-minus (think Coke bottle thick eyeglass lenses and specialty contacts) patient like me, with astigmatic issues, finding not only an eye doc, but an optician (that person who helps you find the perfect frame) who understands how to get you into glasses that dont make you feel like that teenage nerd with the ugly glasses, is a necessity. I have never experienced such patience, the number of choices made available, and the thoroughness of the examination as I have here. And I have been wearing glasses for more than 40 years. If you are a high-minus type, you need to see your way here pronto!.

Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve never had a problem at this office, there’s always someone happy to help. The eye doctors are all great, and I feel with them I get the best care possible. They also have a great selection of glasses available. If you’re looking for contacts, they have lots of people available to teach you how to use them. Personally I had a lot of trouble with contacts and they were willing to spend two hours with me practicing putting them in and taking them out until I felt comfortable doing it.

I recently had my 2nd annual check up with Dr. Ward and her staff. Very thorough, competent, knowledgeable. I was still having an issue with dry eye. Dr. Ward suggested a different solution and my eyes have been better than they have in years. Then comes the fun part. Christina will help you get ‘Styled’ for your new glasses. They are also very accommodating when you are using your own frame. I was amazed at how quickly my glasses were ready, less than a week. I won’t go anywhere else!

I called for her to get an appointment and exactly what I expected happened. She got an appointment right away. None of the we can see you after Christmas if we get a cancellation. Its pretty great, Dr Amy is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Easy to get appointments. The glasses, and lenses however are a bit on the expensive side since they only sell high quality boutique style frames. So I dont particularly recommend buying from them if you are looking to save money, but they have really really nice frames and high end quality lenses. Everyone is very friendly and can answer any questions. Good place to go if you have something wrong and need your eyes looked at for medical purposes as well.
