Each time I come here I have a great experience. Dr. Martin took his time to explain my results and broke it all down into simpler terms for me to understand. When it came to the check out progress, Faith made it very easy and was great to talk to.

I’ve been coming to this location for about 4 years now. I’m never disappointed. The staff is always so friendly. The doctors are attentive, helpful, and kind.

Tldr:Love the ladies at this location of Pearle Vision in Winter Park!Overview:I work in front of a computer all day and had recently lost my glasses. These fantastic people stood out in more ways than any other eye doctor or optometrist Ive been to in the past year.The Good:* They fit me in the same day with a last-minute appointment.* Dr. Thai did a fantastic job explaining each step of the eye exam process. She talked with me extensively about my own eye health and contributing factors that were causing me light sensitivity.* Jada did a spectacular job helping me get the best price for XL frames (for this huge ole noggin).The Bad:* The after co-pay price was slightly higher than Im used to paying for glasses, but I associate this with the cost of additional filters that are typically a la carte.* This was my first time at this location (I found it on my insurance providers website), and I found the parking lot a bit crowded. ** If you park in the back or parking lot, just know the shopfront faces the road ;p **. Itd be helpful for future new visitors to have them told this on their initial appointment call.In closing:In the end, I ended up with a pair of glasses for work (computer) and a new pair for daily use (everyday use). I felt their service was well above my expectations for an eye doctor/eyeglasses store. The doctors bedside manner is terrific. The front desk and sales staff are spectacular!

Will attempt to hard sell you on an uncovered eye exam service.Scheduled exam. Checked in. Told me it would be $50.My co-pay is for an eye exam is $20. Claimed the extra $30 was for a back of eye exam service that is not covered by insurance.I declined this service.She said I can not decline it - it was part of the exam.I walked out.

My daughter had an eye exam in this location ! Dr. Tai is a great doctor! She explained everything to my daughter. Her assistant the Colombian lady was super sweet too! The glasses were a bit expensive but the staff tried to help us to find something in our budget. Good location !

Made an appt for my wife and myself for an eye exam. We have VSP premier insurance which covers eye exams at $0 cost/copay. We get to the store for our appt and they told us it’s a $30 per patient for a back of eye exam that’s not covered under insurance with no option to decline. I’ve been to many other eyeglass places and they all included that in the exam with no extra cost or copay with our insurance. Terrible communication and service. Forcing people to pay extra for stuff that should be included. I see why pearl vision has open appts everyday and pretty much every hour. They are ripping people off with useless stuff that everyone else does for free. I would inquire about extra fees not covered by insurance before making an appt here. Apparently pearl vision is the only place that charges u this fee. Ridiculous.

Dr. Tai was so friendly and one of the most thorougH eye exams I’ve ever had. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Ariana was great at explaining my benefits and giving me options for my pricing. Will definitely be back!

Great doctor. But they tried to charge me over $300 for JUST the lenses on reading glasses. And they said that was WITH insurance. I went elsewhere and am now paying 1/6 of the price. Fine place to get a prescription, but shop elsewhere.

My experience with Pearl Vision wasnt good at all. Its been pushing 4 weeks now and I still dont have my glasses. A week ago They called me to come in to come pick up my glasses. I was super excited. When I put him on one of the eyes was blurry. I told them that something is wrong and they Try to convince me that I need to wear them for some time for my eyes to adjust. But it was like putting your eyes up to a magnifying glass. I pushed the issue and they were gonna hand me the wrong prescription. They could a check that before they gave this glasses to me in the 1st place. So they had to send it back to get fixed. They told me it was human error. So Ive been waiting in I called them today . And he told me its ready. They didnt even call me. Im really pisses off because they knew Ive been walking around with broken glasses for almost 4 weeks and it felt like they didnt even care when the glasses came in to give me a call after everything that happened. The only reason Im giving them 2 stars is because I like their selection of high end frames which I feel are overpriced anyway. Maybe your experience will be better than mine but I will not be going back there.

An absolute wonderful experience! All from when I first checked in, throughout the eye exam, and from the checking out process. Every staff member was extremely friendly and seemed to be in high spirits. When it came to the eye exam the doctor was very thorough. I have had quite a few exams in the past and always left thinking maybe my vision could have been better, due to feeling the exam was rushed. However, that was not the case here. The doctor took her time and tested several lenses afterwards just to insure the prescription was the most accurate. I have never been more satisfied with me new prescription, nor as confident that it is the correct one.

Had a great experience. Dr. Russell gave me the exam, and he couldnt have been nicer. I bought a pair of Ray-Bans, and the optician, Meghan, was super helpful answering my questions. So convenient. 5 stars!

Used to be really great but now the staff is quite rude and tries to charge you for alot of extras you dont actually need. also half the time they put the wrong lenses in your frames so youll be waiting months for a pair of glasses that will actually work.. Definitely check your bill and see exactly what theyre charging you for before giving them your money, worse than a used car salesman.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! I have been a customer for the last 2 years not only getting my eyes checked but I have purchased merchandise from them. Recently I re-ordered monthly contacts from Pearle Vision and received them in a timely manner. Thank you. This is when my problems began after receiving them.Upon opening a fresh pair of contacts, not even 2 weeks in and one contact rips in half and the other contacts material is ripped on top. I know having worn contacts all my life that this sort of thing happens. I opened another pair of contacts and well the same thing happens not even a week into wearing them. 3 weeks in and I have already had issues with 2 set of contacts. This is highly unusual!!!!!I contacted Pearle Vision - Winter Park, FL location and explained what had happened. I said that it was unusual for this to happen twice in the same order and would like for Pearle Vision to re-order 2 pairs free of charge to me because I did nothing wrong and perhaps they should reach out to the manufacturer and advise them. I even said that I have proof of the damaged lens to show them. The individual by the name of Alejandro who works for Pearle Vision said too me ... not going to happen. He can re-order the contacts but there will be a charge. My problem is between myself and the manufacturer. Do I want to go ahead and place the order? I said no and explained the situation again saying how is this my fault!The contacts are obviously faulty and since they sell the brand, the issue is between Pearle Vision and the manufacturer. He disagreed. I asked to speak to a manager and after being on hold for 45 mins, Alejandro answered the phone and said that the manager was busy and leave a message. No I am not leaving a message. I said that was unacceptable and asked for the name of the owner of that location. He said that no phone number was available, he offered an email address. He also said good luck with that.Needless to say I WILL NEVER go back to the Pearle Vision - Winter Park, FL or any other Pearle Vision location for that matter. I will let EVERYONE that I know or come into contact with know of the treatment received.BUYER BEWARE! Customer service is NOT they thing.

Their customer service is awful. I was told my glasses would be ready in 7-10 days, on the 10 day I called them and was told that there was a delay and I would have to wait till the end of the week or the beginning of the next week. I called them Tuesday and was told that they would check on the progess and call me back. Never called me back. Its been over 14 business days and I cancelled my order. Youll be lucky if they even answer you honestly, my mom had the same issues. They wouldnt answer her calls and wouldnt give a single update on where my glasses were, told her theyd call her back and never did.Édit-got my glasses after 4 weeks, Julia was super sweet about it all and understood my frustrations, Devonta I think his name was, was also very helpful.

Great experience getting an eye exam and purchasing glasses. I am really happy that I went to Pearle Vision in Winter Park. The employees are friendly and very helpful. They even helped adjust my glasses a week later when they werent fitting the best and I have not had an issue since. I will definitely go here for all future prescription check ups and purchasing glasses.

I would recommend this Pearl Vision to anyone that needs help with there eyeglasses to eye exams. Ive been having headaches for months and when I did my exam Dr. Russell recommended I see a specialist and gave me more info on what could be the exam. Months later he called to see how I was doing and asked that I followed up. Just the thought of him still keeping his patients in mind shoes how much this staff really cares. Nick has helped with my glasses, finding the right pair to helping me understand what my glasses need and working with me. This staff is by far the best staff I have had to pleasure to meet. I wouldnt have anyone else care for my eyes along with my health other than this staff. Great work!!

They sell you defective contact lenses, then tell you its between you and the manufacturer!Alejandro And the Store Manager are rude and rude, dismissive and have no business being in any type of customer service role.

Pearle vision of Winter Parks prescriptions for both contacts and glasses expire in only one year, forcing you to make another appointment to get a new prescription. Other places that I have been, the prescriptions last at least two years and sometimes more. Also, regarding the very expensive, name brand glasses that they offer, if there is a problem with them they will claim it is due to misuse on the part of the customer. So, they are telling me that if I set my glasses down on the desk of my office each day that I should have set it on felt inside of a case. Please! This is ordinary wear and tear, not abuse of glasses and if I pay hundreds of dollars for these frames I expect that if their quality is sub-par they should be under warranty. At the very least, the staff should not insist that it is somehow my fault that these inferior glasses have fallen apart in under a year. Especially given what I have paid for them!

Bought a pair of dolce and gabbana very expensive glasses there and the paint on the frame started to peel within 7 months. The staff basically said nothing could be done about it and they offered me a discounted price to replace them. According to them, if they file a warranty complaint against dolce and gabbana they would claim its not a defect but instead mis-use. At least when I buy my glasses at zennis I know Im buying a cheap frame and the price reflects it. At pearl vision, youll over pay for the same quality of frame. Lesson learned, going back to zenni.
