Dr Sheri M. McGurk was excellent. I always feel like I receive a very comprehensive exam. She ask about general health and lifestyle habits as well. We review my time in the sun, phone/computer habits,...even my blood pressure. I highly recommend her.

This was my first visit to an eye doctor in a very long time, and had a very positive experience here! The doctor was super nice and she really took her time explaining everything to me. I woke up on a Saturday with a bad eye infection. I made a request online for an appointment and Dr. McGurk called me herself to get me in that day. She was very thorough and one of the nicest most down to earth Drs I’ve ever seen. She gave me her cell phone number to call if I had any issues. I would definitely recommend Dr. McGurk!!

My very first eye appointment. As I just Turn 43, I’ve realized that it was time for me to fix the problem I had reading stuff at a close distance. Moving the arms forward and back weren’t working anymore. 🤓Winter Park Eyewear was recommended to me by my sister and I am so glad of the recommendation. The staff was sweet and professional. I was also educated on the hows and whys of my eyesight failing as I got older. The prices were very reasonable in my opinion. I’m trying to find something negative about the visit and to be honest, nothing comes to mind. Everyone there was amazing! Can’t wait to get my new readers in a couple weeks!Highly recommend!

Dr. Sheri McGurk and her staff are a pleasure to work with. They are all knowledgeable, experienced, kind professionals which all helps create a great experience while being at an Optometrist‘s office.

I have been going to Dr. McGurks for years - probably since I was 15 or 16 - and I have consistently had a pleasant experience at her practice. Dr. McGurk is by far the most amicable eye doctor in central Florida, and she always makes the eye exams more fun by conversing with, and walking you during the process - a process that doesnt feel like a process, really. Her staff Kris, Natalie, Cassandra and Kelly are all so warm and friendly. Couldnt recommend anyone else better for the job. No need to think twice; just go and youll be happy to see clearly again. :)

Great staff, excellent doctor, super personable and took the time to explain things to me! Also helped me in saving the most money on my contact lens order. Highly recommend! Felt very safe with temp screening before entering office and everything being sanitized after using as well. Awesome experience!

First time being there and it was very comfortable. There is a sign on the door to wait for someone to get you due to covid-19. Was greeted and seen right away. Ive seen many ophthalmologists since a young age but none like this one. She took the time and taught me about my eye. How it works and whats wrong with it. After the exam was done an employee walked me around and we tried on like 40 pairs to find the One. She took time to make sure I found everything I wanted. BTW after every pair I tried they were sterilized. Everything was extremely clean, organized, and friendly.I finally found the perfect eye care doctor.

Ive been a patron of Winter Park Eyewear for many years. They are always very friendly. Dr. McGurk goes above and beyond making sure the contact lenses fit well, giving me samples to wear for a week, before submitting a final order. This year I was overdue for my eye exam because of the covid pandemic and ran out of contracts. She had me pick up an extra pair of contacts for free to hold me through until my appointment. My 15 year old son was a little anxious and was pretty picky about the style of glasses we were about the purchase for him. I came into this office for the first time today, and I needed contacts. Great location in the Whole Foods shopping plaza. The office was decorated very nicely. I really felt like I was in a small town. Nice seating area. Very different from the large box stores. Sara was at the front desk and was very personable. She was very easy to talk to and really knew her stuff.Dr McGurk was very pleasant, as well. She took her time with me and was very thorough. She explained how contacts work and why I may want to update my lens type. I ended up changing my lenses, and she really made sure it was correct. I was sent home with a trial pair and will return in a couple of weeks to order my contacts.I was very pleased by the visit. Thanks to her I will not be visiting the large eye glass stores ever again!! I highly recommend Winter Park Eye Wear!!!
