I really enjoyed the food here.I got a matcha crepe cake. Didn’t like it very much because of the texture. But it was my first crepe cake, so just probably not for me.Jasmine Lychee tea was new to me also. Kinda tasted like perfume, but I finished it eventually.Ube Cheesecake is worth its weight in gold! Absolutely delicious and beyond exceptional!Creme brûlée cream puff was really good. Never had one prior to this, and I enjoyed it.Cheesecake Creme puff was also good.The fruit tart was perfection!Everything had good flavor, and nothing was overly sweet. Would recommend!

I really liked Light on the Sugar Bakery! I preordered the mooncakes that they had special for the mid Autumn festival and they were good! Although they switched up the pick up dates so I had to change my plans around, but the staff was really friendly and helpful about it. I also got a creme brulee cream puff and it was absolutely fantastic! Next time I come I want to try some of their tea or coffee, they seem like they have a good selection. Also really love that they have ube flavores desserts which can be hard to find in Orlando.*** Update: Im bumping my review up to 5 stars. I love everything that Ive had at Light on the Sugar- especially their cream puffs. My absolute favorite is the ube cheese cake cream puff. Ive also tried their Hojicha latte and the London fog, and I think my favorite drink so far is the former. Also, Ive visited their sister location Sugar Dough Bakery and I highly recommend checking it out since they have a different set of desserts.

Thanks to my wonderful girlfriend who planned our whole Orlando itinerary and found this place for us to try! She knows I love my morning Starbucks lattes and sweets, so this was right on the money.Honestly, if I couldve eaten all the cream puffs, I would have. There were so many to choose from and they all looked absolutely delicious. We ended up *only* getting four for the both of us to share and two drinks. I got the Sakura latte, and she got a Lychee Jasmine Green Tea. The cream puffs were delicious and so was my latte. The filling had just the right amount of sweetness, very light, and the outside was perfectly baked/crispy. Nothing was too overpowering. If only my stomach was larger to finish all of them.. we were only able to get through one and a half or so before we had to tap out.It makes me sad I need to hop on a 4 hour flight to get here!! Probably for the best though.

Ive been coming here for about a year-and-a-half now and they always have something new. I always get the lavender lemonade, its my absolute favorite, but today I tried the lychee rose amd it was outstanding.All of the drinks are made to order and are fantastic!Their pastries are phenomenal too, and theyre some of the best Ive ever had. Light on the sugar is indeed that. I ordered a matcha cream puff that was absolutely delicious. Slightly crisp. Coated in a matcha crumble and the inside was perfectly cold and creamy and not overpoweringly sweet at all. It was perfect.Ordered a matcha latte with mousse foam and oat milk and it wasnt sweet at all (which is what I wanted) and I am glad it was light on the sugar for both. I didnt want a heavy rich sugar rush snack.Wish this place wasnt so far away from me. Id love to come back here more often and Try all the other drinks and pastries.

This was my first time eating here. All the pastries were so beautiful AND delicious! I ordered out with a group of friends and had the hazelnut tart and a coffee. All the pastries looked like they were crafted with so much care. Tried the strawberry panna cotta, which came in a cute glass jar. Simply amazing!

This is our new favorite spot to treat ourselves. Every single item Ive tried has been amazing, but those cream puffs are the best Ive ever had.It isnt cheap, but I havent once felt like I didnt get my moneys worth.

Definitely recommend! The cream puffs are pretty big so it’s worth the price. I ordered both a cookies & cream and key lime cream puff - so delicious. I also ordered a sakura latte with matcha which was eh, then again I’m not a huge matcha lover. My other option was espresso which I probably should’ve gone with but what’s the fun in ordering what you know? The cream filling was tasty and not overwhelming. They had a nice selection of flavors plus crepe cake slices which I’ll be back to try. If you’re debating whether or not to go, let me help you - just go.

Been trying to stop by for a long time being that the Bakery is basically in my back yard and finally made it. Now that we have dietary restrictions in my household its not often that we walk into a pastry shop. But chose the lemon puffs and loved them. Its a small, simple and super clean place. Only four stars because there was no impressive customer service from the staff.

I love everything here. The chocolate chip cookies sent me to heaven. Get the tiramisu to achieve true happiness. From the cream puffs to the crepe cakes, everything is a must. They have wonderful service. They have exceptional products. We love the Tiramisu float latte. Their Panna cotta is great. They offer dairy free options! We have tried 2 tarts and both were excellent. Its family owned and I love to support local.

True to the name, it is just sweet enough. The perfect amount of sweetness! If you have not been here yet, do yourself a favor and go. Not only is everything amazing and super fresh, they take such care in their presentation. The crepe rolls are gently tied with a little string. The puffs are presented on little silver disks. The box is a really interesting design. All the treats are made in house daily and every time I go, I think, this is my new favorite item and then it is replaced by something else next time!

Love the cream puffs here! So many different flavors and all delicious! Light on the sugar, exactly as the name of the bakery says. The filling isnt dense either, so you dont feel too heavy eating one. I would say the tea isnt worth the cost. Service was friendly and fast. Love the light and airy interior design as well. Cute, mini coffee shop located in an upscale strip mall. The item they are known for, the giant cream puff, is absolutely to die for. It is not too sweet, the texture of the pastry is unique, and every flavor brings something a little special to the table. Most of the other pastries are good, but simply average. The almond croissant is delicious if you bring it home and warm it up in the oven.The only item I found myself very disappointed with is the coffee. While Im always a black coffee drinker, I was surprised at how bitter the latte was. Adding sugar only seemed to bring out its strange taste. While Ive gone back for the pastries several times, I typically skip the coffee.

WOW!!! WOW WOW WOW. 4/4 orders have been absolutely perfect. I work from home and need the afternoon pick me up, saw this place on Uber Eats and cannot wait to go in person. You can taste the love in these goodies. I am not a big sweets fan so this place is perfect! the Tiramisu float is my go-to and I the tarts are out of this world. The presentation is like your noni packed you a sweet treat from her oven.

I have heard many good things about this place. I finally got a chance to make my way over this weekend. I really like the aesthetic of the cafe itself. The style is clean and it makes for a nice place for a morning coffee. The customer service was also very good! The ladies that were working helped to explain the bakery items as well as a couple of the other things on their menu. However, I didn’t really like the drink I ordered. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing but I’m sure their other teas taste way better. The cookie I got was also not to my liking because it was more of a crumbly cookie rather the the soft, chewy inside I was hoping for. This is obviously just based off my preference, but in my opinion it didn’t live up to the hype.

The hubby and I love bakeries. That being said we just had to try this place out when we found out about it. I was really impressed the desserts are not only beautiful but also really tasty. We got a good spread to try and were pretty impressed with all of them. Absolutely want to go back and try the ones we didnt try yet. The grapefruit infused tea I ordered was also very good. There are several teas on the menu I plan on trying. The decor inside is also very cute lots of plants which I love. The place has a nice zen to it for sure. Cant wait to go back and try more.

Light On The Sugar does not disappoint. The pastries are delicate yet jam packed with flavor. The cream puffs are filled to the edges with amazing goodness, but the shell never gets soggy. The ube and cookies and cream are my fave puff flavors. The crepe cake slices were good, but not my number one choice (Id try matcha before any other flavor). My hands down favorite was the ube cheesecake. It had such good texture and all the ube flavor.My husband, who is very particular about lemon desserts, had the lemon tart and loved it. The shell was crisp and the filling brought just enough zing.It is located in a random plaza behind a KFC and Wawa, kind of tucked away from the hustle and bustle areas of Aloma. But it is absolutely worth the trip of you have a craving for good pastries.

We drove from another city and were excited to try the coffees, arrived 20 minutes before closing and apparently the espresso machine was closed already because it was being cleaned and coffees were refused. People were asked to get up from the tables and they were in a rush for closing with 20 minutes to spare... Sad experience, the few things I was able to purchase were good tho.I am a barista and I do not close my station (to clean it) till AFTER closing time, when doors are already locked and there are no more clients, so for me not wanting to prepare a drink because the machine is being cleaned is poor customer service.Thank you.

So delish! Wanted to try this place after reading other reviews. Service rendered by the staff was friendly. I bought 4 creme puffs and two sponge cakes. I gave the cakes to my neighbor as gifts. Their reaction was positive. Everything that I tried were amazing too. Not too sweet or heavy. The Americano however tasted overroasted and burnt.

Strange location but amazing foodie experience. Don’t be sticker shocked by the prices because you get what you pay for -Considering the size and quality of the baked goods. And I like that they are eco conscious.

Me and my fiancé frequent this bakery. We’ve tried almost everything they have to offer, and have loved almost everything. My fiancé loves the earl grey cream puffs! My favorite is the chocolate chip cookies, they are amazing!

I cant recommend this bakery enough. The desserts are perfect, so light and fluffy. The strawberry sponge cake and coffee cream puff are so divine. The fruit tea is so refreshing on a hot day. Everything is wonderful!

Cream puffs galore! Im obsessed with Matcha so they reccomended their matcha cream puff and Im so glad. It was a perfect mix of sweet and creamy. The filling was night and light which was perfect. We also got their chocolate strawberry macaron and the mocha coconut panna cotta. Everything was delicious and had so much flavor. Cute little shop with great pastries and baked goodies. Ill have to try some of their teas and lattes next time.

I was craving a strawberry shortcake and found out about this spot. OMG I am so glad I did because everything I tried was amazing! Just like the name of the store its not overly sweet and super light, which is kinda dangerous because I can eat several in one sitting. I tried the creme brulee creampuff, ube creampuff, cheesecake creampuff, strawberry shortcake, tiramisu, and coffee Panna Cotta. Every single one was delicious! My favorite is the Panna Cotta. If you love coffee as much as I do, give it a try.This is definitely a spot Im going to be visiting frequently. Its a bit pricey but its worth it to me.

Lackluster flavors would be much improved if baked goods werent burned.I ordered their matcha latte which imo was good, nothing life changing. Also grabbed three of their little custard buns? Two of the three were burned, and their custard is lacking in flavor, add vanilla bean!Their menu is annoying, nothing is laid out flavor wise so you have to ask what everything is that is specialty to the shop - obvs we all know what a latte is.I wont say ill never come again, but I hope they can improve upon a few things - especially not serving burned items.

The owner let us try a matcha cream puff and WOW. I didn’t like matcha before I tried this delicious, authentic desert!!! The decor is amazing, the owner is completely down to earth and hard working. He makes all of the pastries himself in the back and they’re all I’ve been wanting ever since I went to his shop 2 days ago. Super cute little cafe and pastry shop. We headed over here after dinner so we could get a couple of desserts, and we had seen a lot of Yelpers checking in here and giving it good reviews. The parking lot is huge and they dont have a lot of heavily trafficked stores next to them, so its easy to park.They have a couple of small tables outside, and a few inside. Once you walk in the display case is on your right, the register is next to it in the middle, then they have a coffee machine behind on the back counter. The coffee menu is on the right wall, and the pastries are all labeled and have their prices written on their chalkboard signs.I went with the Tiramisu and husband got a cookies and creme puff. They were both very good. We took them to go as we were there only thirty minutes before they closed, and we didnt want to be those people. :)I also got a mocha, which was very good. They have a solid coffee menu and a great machine. I loved the coffee art they did on top (pictured). Super cute!Overall: AGreat little pastry cafe and coffee shop. Super cute and love the decor and vibe.

The first time hearing of this place was when I went to go pick up an order for my job with Uber Eats. Upon entry I was impressed with the food and atmosphere of the place. I went back with family and we tried out their cream puffs. They were amazing! Very reasonable prices too! We will definitely come back here again.

Bakery was 3/5, small portion and expensive. Drinks were 2/5, just bitterness from coffee and nothing much. Service wasnt good either.

No shame I bought an entire cheesecake for my sister and I to share and when she left there was a little over a quarter still left and I finally finished it today on day ten. Best cheesecake ever and their lavender lemonade is magical

I go to this bakery at least once a week. The desserts have such a great range from low sweetness to very sweet plus you can get Asian-inspired flavors like Matcha, Ube, and Taro. My favorites are definitely the Earl Grey cream puff, the Ube cream puff, and the Ube crepe cake. Some desserts they only make available on the weekends, so be sure to follow their Instagram page for whats available and when.

Could be called Right on the Sugar. The cream puffs are SOOO good! They are sweet but not overwhelmingly and they did not give me a sugar crash. The flavors are really strong and delicious! The cream puffs are HUGE and a great value for the price. I will definitely go back, probably a little too often.

Everything is so tasty here! Everything is fresh, and delightful. Its sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet where you feel like youll get diabetes from one bite.

Such a great cafe! I was introduced to this place by my girlfriend and now I find any excuse to go with her whenever I can. I am always more than satisfied with the drinks I get here, better than most cafes in Orlando which makes me wish I would have discovered it sooner. I cant forget the fantastic bakery as well, with the best cream puffs Ive ever had (first ones Ive ever had). I would highly recommend getting the oolong fruit tea along with the Earl Grey cream puff. A must to check out for anybody who is a fan of small quaint coffee shops, and bakeries. I promise you wont be let down by their quality, consistency and refreshing uniqueness.
