If I can give this place zero stars I would. We went in for a simple screen change on an iPhone and issues we were having with our AirPods. We were early to our appointment but they made us wait 30 minutes to check us in. We finally get a rep to assists us after about a 15 minute wait, we explain the issue with the iPhone. She asks my husband to remove the screen protector from the phone, my husband refuses due to the fact that the screen was cracked and he might get injured. Her reason for not being able to remove it was because she had nail extensions. Within reason my husband gets upset and she proceeds to get a different rep. The new rep comes and assists us. He was actually interested in helping us and was going above and beyond to accommodate. During our conversation, the rep notices a discrepancy on our account and goes to speak to his supervisor. While we are waiting, manager manny asks us to move to the other side of the table because our stroller was “blocking the main aisle of the store”. At this point we are annoyed and manny asks if everything was ok, we proceed to inform him of our initial experience with the first rep and the issue that was going on with our account. We tried to explain that the issue with our account was incorrect but manny decided not to hear us out and stated that he will decline services to us and asked us to leave the store. He then unnecessarily proceeds to inform the security that we were leaving. As we are leaving the security begins to get aggressive and instigate with my husband as we are walking away. I respectfully asked him to please leave us alone as we were already outside of the store and we were walking away. The security guard continues antagonizing and was asking my husband to go back to “face him as a man”. The security guard’s behavior was just the icing to the cake.We have never experienced such bad service at any Apple store. Stay away from this place until the staff is changed. Horrible service.
Terrible service came in to fix my screen and of course they offered me a swap instead. They didn’t even attempt to fix the screen. This place has zero customer service they just want to sell you stuff. You pay $1200 for a phone you would think they be a little more considerate. Nope not here! Avoid coming here for Genius Bar they’re only good for buying products at the store or pickups.
Apple used to be premium quality and service at a premium price. The premium price is still there but quality and especially service have gone downhill.We went to this apple store and had an appointment only to be told we would have to wait as they has walk-ins and were taking people in order. So whats the point of asking an appointment?Asked them to look at a 4 yr old laptop where the battery is already failing and were told that had to be a different appointment and we couldnt see anyone.Not only should the most expensive brand on the market be fine after 4 years but also the experts at the apple store cant or wont help.Very dissatisfied.
Atleast this store serviced me and had what I needed. If the employees moved any slower you could shoot a still motion film. Why apple has followed the theme park style system is beyond me outside of trying to justify their prices. Wait in line to be put on a wait list to then wait to be put in a waiting area for people to then ask what you need and wait on the item. - told the first two people what I needed why couldn’t it just be put on a list, no purchase for a single item should take 30+ minutes. If you had items out or a cash register to walk up to the process would be so much simpler/quicker and could then cut some of the overhead. Do better as a whole apple.

I came in the Apple store at Ridge Hill Yonkers today around 4:40 came to unlock my iPad and get my phone speaker fixed, when I meet a worker named Kristian. He was very very helpful and caring he made sure I got all the support and help I need. He also fix the problem thanks #Kristan .
A bit of a long wait even with other employees available to help. They claim, every employee is designated to one area, and can only help the ones on that area. I think, if the store is packed, and everyone is waiting, then if an employee is not doing anything, they should help out on whatever area is busy.
All the service representatives who helped out were very helpful.
My appointment was for 11:15am. Arrived by 10:30am but was told to wait until 11am before I could be checked in. Just be on time.In all, my experience was great.
I came in to buy a new emergency charger for my little sister and had to leave. The store had no hand sanitizer, no mask requirement, and there was no capacity limit. I was appalled, because I thought Apple was safe as they were taking great precautions at the beginning of Covid, but now they are acting as though nothing is happening! Truly terrible not only towards the customers, but the employees who have to work under such conditions.
Too many people in the store at one time. There was a steady stream of people coming into the store. It made me uncomfortable. Every one had on mask but with the Delta Variant causing a rise in covid cases it is concerning!!!

The mostly lousiest set up in Ridge Hill for Apple customers especially for a market like NY. The appointment concept is ideal but the line outside, the wait outside and finally when do get a chance to be seen they would only let one adult in at time. Please with other store in the area allow social distance and for a great shopping experience. While still meeting the requirements of social distancing and COVID-19 protocol the customer service great. However, the concept and execution needs a manger revamp with better streamline approach. Security acts very militant for their position, staff is hit or miss in terms of service. Location is always swamped with lines. Used to be a lot better. Feels a bit like the DMV now.
Worst service ever! Went in for a manufacturers defect on an IPhone 12, which they would have covered.They then said 90 minute wait which was fine. I then get back and get hit with, “oh, there’s liquid damage, so we can’t do the repair.” But we can give you a replacement for $90.I then asked to speak to a manager, who basically strong armed me and essentially said take it or leave it.Do not go to this location!! They rip you off!
I came here to buy an apple product. Got what I need, waited 10m for someone to ring me up, & left. If you come here to get an apple product, cool - come here. If you want a side of greetings, good customer service, & fast help then go somewhere else.But then again it’s usually crowded here so expect this^ all year around. Understandable.

Very busy so you have to wait for awhile before you get tended to. I hate that Apple stores dont want to help you set anything up if you bought online with a military discount. This is the second item Ive bought with a military discount and nobody wants to help me set it up. Its not like Im getting a huge discount for being a vet. Its a 10% discount I believe. Its just aggravating that you cant get the same help as those buying in store.

Most staff are helpful. Not as busy as downtown Manhattan but they can be fairly busy depending when you go. Make an appointment.

This store is one of the worst Apple stores. The people here do not know what theyre doing, dont even know what a usb-c is.I few times Ive Been to this store cause its the closest to me and every time I end up calling customer support to tell them what todo.If someone at Apple see this please have these people in training for better service.
I went into the store supposed to be appointment only and than I get there the service was horrible and I was in the store for about an hour and than they put into the que that they had seen me already and so I asked the manager when are they going to seen me he said that I was seen already so when they do come to me they make me wait for another hour so that he can run more test to come out to claim that my phone was ok so he was running more test and than he kept on saying that your phone had failed 3 times so instead of giving me a new phone he make me an appointment to come back they never apologized for not coming but I still have a missed up phone sad they need to do better
PEOPLE BE AWARE: If you ever go to the store to return more than one item PLEASE make sure that you sign and they include all items or you will NOT be refunded. Other than that it is a ok.

Tldr: The store manager Mandy LIED to my face, and after I confronted him, he tried to gaslight me.I purchased a Macbook with student discount a few weeks ago, and now Apple came up with a Back to School deal of a free pair of Airpods with purchase.I called their store ahead of time and asked could I get the free pair here, they told me yes, so I drove 30 mins here. While another employee helped me to set up exchange, the store manager Mandy told me he could not honor this. I told him someone from your store literally said it was ok. He started to LIE to me, the calls all went through a call center not to our store, I cant be responsible for their wordsI left but was so confused, so I called the number I used in the morning again. Two people I spoke with the phone both told me they work at Ridge Hill and told me I could get the free pair. I went in and confronted this with Mandy. He started to gaslight me, and said I wasnt saying all calls go to call center. Some calls get filtered and come here And after I told him he lied to me, he just told me I cant help you and turned his back on me.This is the worst expereince I had and the most despicable Apple employee I encountered. I was going to buy another macbook and iphone 12 at their store, but now I would drive 1 hour to the Soho or 5th Avenue store.
Not happy with the appointment system as other couples were tended to who did not have appointments. I am aware of this because they were friends who visited the store with us and laughed that we were made to wait having an appointment and they were NOT having No Appointment. SMH
The service and employees were great and took the time to assess the issue, they also have a great system with social distancing, hand sanitizer, and lotion for your hands and have security outside taking temperature.

Been using galaxy for years and never had a problem with the signal. I switched to iphone and am loosing signal like 20 times a day as u see in the photo and it won’t be back till I restart the phone and when I restart it it takes for ever. I asked many people about it and they all say they have the same issue with all companies. That’s sucks.
Takes over a week to get back your product. In addition got my item back with a dent and of course they assume you brought it in that way. I recommend any other Apple store in the city instead for better service.I only recommend this store for pick ups.

I had to wait almost half an hour to get served, yet they have employees in the corner chatting up a storm.
I do not know that they give an appointment if they are not taking when one arrives they make people stand in line under the cold no matter that people have appointments, I had my appointment yesterday Saturday I lasted 40 minutes in line waiting to be seen with my 3 year old daughter a temperature of 21 degrees outside. a terrible customer service they treat the customer like animals .. they have a terrible attention... I recommend people to go to another apple store
Be careful when visiting this apple location, to guarantee they make you an appointment, to buy you can come without anything, they make you wait and see how people who arrive without appointment enter and leave first than you. He only likes when he comes to buy, which is wrong, to efficiently cover the guarantee and also an income, twice the same thing happens to me. Even if I come to use my guarantee, I am still a source of income.

The reason for not getting 5 stars is because sometimes there are employees who do NOT LISTENING to the customers and they are not focused because their doing their own thing and end up messing up, resulting in doing refunds or staying longer than expected. It was would be nice to listen to the customer so there aren’t any issues and make it a smoother and faster visit.
Make an appointment. But even if not it did not take that long to go through the line. Once inside you have a representative to assist. Made things easy and quick. Got a new 12.
The worst store Ive ever been. Cant even get in. Security do not let anyone in. I needed help with my iPhone, and the guy was starting to explain outside of the store!!! And not even explain, just told me where to press and follow instructions! Worst service ever! I came for help and got nothing. The other day I came to buy iPad, and they turned me out! They said you have to buy online, cant get in to the store!So so disappointed.I hope it is only THAT apple store and not Apple compony in general are that rude, helpless and useless!
Great service! I was not aware of the express checkout necessary to make a purchase as my biggest concern was having my student discount applied to my order, when I finally managed to apply the discount I had just missed the last pick up window and I was forced to schedule for next day pick up. As I was already at this location picking up another item for my boyfriend, I managed to get inside and explain my situation where Youssef told me no worries and managed to get a hold of my order. Saved me a long drive not to mention time! Often times employees don’t even bother or attempt to help to avoid doing the simple extra work. Thanks again Youssef!

Always super crowded like most Apple stores. However, the staff need to appear happier to work there. My big thing is customer experience as well as customer service. So for the customer experience with the apple brand it’s a thumbs up. But for customer service at this location it’s a thumbs down and rotating!
Bf went in for a repair for his top speaker, got the phone back with bottom speaker messed up, gave a replacement, mind you previous phone was unlocked (no carrier) to then go through a whole run around with a t-mobile iPhone…
There is a line for the store but with appointments you get in fairly quickly. The service was also really good and it was nice to see that they are taking sanitary procedures seriously to help prevent the spread of covid-19
Ask for Lilly. She gave exceptional customer service to my mother who before the visit was very anxious on the thought of a smart phone. Lets just say shes old school. After the visit, all she talks about now is returning to the apple store on Ridgehill to purchase her new iphone among other devices that pair well with it all because now her new favorite person is Lilly

Today I worked with Melvin and Brian (forgive me if the spelling is incorrect). Brian was the manager and Melvin was my lead associate. Let me just say THEY WERE INCREDIBLE! They were so responsive, they fixed all my problems. There was incredible checks and balances between Melvin and Brian as Manager and associate. Both knew exactly what they were doing. However, checked with each other to assure the best result. I couldnt be happier and I am considering more Macs in the future directly because of those two. THANK YOU, Melvin and Brian!!!
My appointment was for 6pm (to which I was there in time) and after waiting literally one hour in a line outside the store in a 30 degree weather, the person that assisted me had the courage to say that I was late to my appointment. After explaining at least 3-4 times that it was not my fault but theirs, she still tried to make me feel as if it was my fault. On top of that I waited ONE HOUR IN THE COLD just to let me know that my iPad wasn’t covered for physical damage and that I would have to exchange it for a new one that it would cost me ALMOST the same as if I buy it on my own. TERRIBLE SERVICE. CAN SOME ONE ASK TO THE PEOPLE ON THE LINE WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THEIR DIVICE? How the person that made the appointment on the phone couldn’t tell me this before hand? Or at least someone while a waited in the cold for nothing. Very disappointed.

Excellent customer service. The manager in charge was very very helpful and accommodating. My tech guy was patient and knowledgeable. The store is clean, well maintained and COVID safe.
