Dropped car off for maintenance, picked it up overheating and leaking coolant...I got a coolant service and afterwards I didnt even make it home before the car started overheating with coolant running out. When I took the car back I was told there was a head gasket leak (which was bogus). Not only was the car leaking coolant and overheating immediately after service but i was given a bad root cause. I had the car towed to another shop to replace the water pump and all is well now. Extremely disappointed in Toms garage and will never ever take another vehicle there again.

I purchased a used Honda Ridgeline three years ago and have had it serviced at several Honda repair shops and have not ever gotten the customer service received from Tom. He totally surprised me with calling back while on vacation to confirm a service date, and being very thorough in his complete check up of my vehicle with recommendations for the next service items for the vehicle. The pricing was fair and the full service was done in less than a day. I was able to drop it off in the morning and picked it up shortly after lunch. I told Tom that he will certainly be my go to Honda repair guy going forward. He is without a doubt worth 10 STARS!

Can’t say enough good things about Tommy and his Honda auto services. He has been taking care of our vehicles for I think close to 10 years now and we couldn’t be happier. He is a no nonsense kinda guy who knows Honda. Period. I had some engine work done here recently, my first ever visit to Toms Garage, and the next day my check engine light was on, so I brought the car back to Tom. He figured out that a part of the engine was accidentally bent during the repair, total fluke thing that Honda acknowledged as an issue without an easy fix. He was honest from the beginning and he eventually had to spend $3,000 to repair the damage. He could have easily lied to me and had me left footing the bill, but he didnt, a true testament to an honest repair shop. If you own a Honda or Acura in the Triangle area youre crazy to go anywhere else.

Was in the Raleigh area when my check engine light came on. Looked for a place to get service and Toms had great reviews. Stopped in and they kindly checked the codes right away and replaced a bad spark plug. Tom even gave me a copy of a service bulletin regarding a warranty extension that applied to my problem. Wow! When looking into buying a used Honda Civic, I searched for Honda Specialists in the triangle. Only a few shops came up, and the other one I contacted never returned my call! Im glad Tom called me back that same day and made time for my requested pre-purchase inspection. He assured me that there were no major issues with the car aside from an A/C compressor that was making enough noise to know it likely needed replacing. I bought the car, cleaned it up a bit, and brought it back to Toms for the A/C compressor replacement. Everything was by the book. Honest assessment, quick work, friendly and knowledgeable, and always a better deal than the Honda dealership. No complaints. I Highly recommend Toms for all Honda and Acura needs!

Best auto shop in the Triangle. We had a major issue with our Odyssey that another shop could not resolve after multiple attempts and poor quality parts. Tom was great.We needed a new timing belt for our 04 Pilot. I shopped around a bit and got quotes from a couple places including the Dealer.Toms price was better than the dealer and he did a few extras for us at no additional charge.He had the work done quickly and I was impressed after I inspected his work. Tom replace the axles in our 2009 Civic and fixed a leaky valve cover gasket. The work was done accurately and quickly. Highly recommended!

Tom is a first class mechanic. If you want straightforward information without the pressure of up selling then he is your guy for the job. He is very busy and that should tell you a lot. You typically have to leave him a message when you call but he returns your call every time when he actually has the time to talk to you - and he takes the time to make sure you understand everything and even helps find alternate repair solutions based on your personal needs and how long youll keep the car, Etc. I highly recommend him. The one bad part is he only works on Honda and Acura so maybe you need to switch what you drive so you can use Tom!!

I am so glad I found Toms Garage. My son has a 2001 Honda CRV with only 100,000 miles on it. It wasnt running right severe stumble/hesitation at idle and I told him to take it and get an tune up and get the headlights aimed as they were clearly not right. A local garage wed used for years did the tune-up and charged us for the headlight aiming. The vehicle still had the stumble/hesitation at idle. The first garage said we would just have to live with it because it was going to need a rebuilt engine. When I asked them to do a valve adjustment they charged us $32 and said they looked at the valves and didnt see anything.Then I found Toms Garage on Google! We were so upset about the prospect of serious engine damage the first shop predicted that we only asked Tom to see if he could diagnose and repair the stumble/hesitation at idle. Tom asked us about all the details on what had been done and then recommended replacing the spark plug wires (the first shop used cheap wire when they did the tune up that were not connecting well), that yielded some improvement. Tom then did a valve adjustment. The CRV then ran like a sewing machine - just like it was new. Tom told us the exhaust valve were severely out of adjustment. The total was less than $190.00 compared to a $3,500 rebuilt engine the first shop quoted us.The next day, once we had the engine issue resolved we remembered the headlights still didnt seem to be aimed right, even though we paid the first shop to do it, so we called Tom and he said if we dropped it off hed aim them for us. Tom aimed the headlights and wouldnt even let us pay him for doing so - he said it only took a few minutes and that they were clearly not correct when he started. Once Tom finished they are perfect.Were now Toms Garage customers for life. Highly Recommend!

Excellent - Tom knows Acura and Hondas. Good guy, knows his stuff, works with you. He is the best I have found after searching for over a year. I completely trust him, when he says you need to replace or repair, you need to do it. Price is always good. If you drive an Acura or Honda he is the best in the Triangle.

Finding a mechanic you can trust can be difficult. Tommy will let you know straight up what you need (as well as what you dont need) when it comes to repairing or maintaining your Honda/Acura. Hell also try to save you money where he can. Fair prices and uses genuine Honda products just like the dealers. Cant really ask for anything more.

Weve got 4 Hondas in our family fleet, (from 2001 to 2013 models), and after discovering Tommy a month or so ago, I dont intend to take those vehicles anywhere else! Other reviewers have already said it well -- this is an honest, knowledgeable person who works very hard to fix things right, minimizing the cost when possible, and who keeps you well informed, before/during/after the service.

Worked on my 03 Acura TL did a timing belt and water pump and trans and brake flush in one day at a affordable price. Tom is straight up and knows all Honda products.

Tommy has been great to me an my Honda/Acura cars. Just this week the Acura dealership told me I needed an $1,100 repair to address an SRS fault. Tommy cleared the fault for no charge. He always does great work at a reasonable price and I highly recommend Tommy for all Acura and Honda issues.
