Paid $1000 for a range hood we were told would arrive in two weeks. Its been two months and no hood, no accountability, no service. I want my money back. Not sure how poor experiences in the past were addressed but clearly no improvement in customer service. Will I get more than a canned response? Well see...

I was able to purchase a new washer/dryer set at the lowest price around (including the big box stores). My order came in as planned and delivery took place in a timely fashion. The delivery team were the best. Johnson Brothers is a perfect example of a local company that takes pride in they’re business model. Perfect from start to finish.

I cant say if the customer service is good or bad - there simply isnt any.Day 11 without our incredibly expensive Miele range... nobody has the courtesy to call me back, just my builder, so I have to chase him and hope he calls.Product doesnt work X Service doesnt work = 1 starMathematically it should be zero, as multiplying anything by zero is zero...
If I could give a negative 100 I would. This will be the 5th or 6th time of them coming to fix our $2500 washer and dryer. If you want a company to never return your call to fix the appliance and you have to follow up with every little detail then be my guest. This is the worst customer service that I have ever witnessed in my life. The latest scenario is that I called after the nice gentleman fixed our washer and dryer and the next day they both refuse to work, I havent even so much as received a peep from them. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Not really happy with the service we received from Johnson Bros. We purchased a panel ready dishwasher which had to be special ordered from the manufacturer. We were told estimated time to receive the dishwasher was early November. So in early November I contacted them to see when the dishwasher would arrive. I was told they expected it November 6th. When I did not hear from them, I contacted them again. This time I was told that the manufacturer said 10 weeks from date of order, meaning sometime around the beginning of December. A couple of days later I received an email saying that our dishwasher is in the store.I still owed a balance on the dishwasher, but no one at Johnson Bros. asked for it. The day the installer is to pick it up I receive a voice mail from installer telling me Johnson Bros will not release the dishwasher until the balance is paid. I called Johnson Bros and paid the bill over the phone. The party taking the card information said he will send me a receipt.The following day when I had not yet received the receipt. I emailed the salesman who sold us the dishwasher asking for the receipt. When I received the receipt it showed the dishwasher being sold to the installer instead of to us, who purchased and paid for the dishwasher. So again I requested a correct receipt. So far no receipt.I contacted the sales manager. After a number of emails back and forth, he finally sent me a copy of a correct paid invoice.I have had less trouble getting teeth pulled.
Johnsons Brothers is the ONLY place you need to go for appliances in central Oregon. They have a huge selection of appliances and are polite, responsive and not pushy at all. Their knowledge and customer service surpassed all others. They have the lowest prices and will price match with superior customer service. After visiting them and the competition, I will not shop anywhere else for appliances ever again.
They were great! The sales staff was informative without being pushy. We were shown several options for the washer dryer set that we needed covering a fairly wide price range. Once we decided on the units we purchased we got several discounts, and were shown how to get a factory rebate.The installation team (James and Robert) was prompt, on time, very friendly, and super efficient. The installation went quickly and the washer and dryer work great! So glad we bought our appliances here.
We walked in 15 minutes before closing on a Friday and received the best service from Parker, as we picked out a new washing machine. He was knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our questions until we made our decision on a Speed Queen. I’ll definitely be returning for all of our future major appliance needs.

Another way to improve is not to run your way of operations like a cars dealer ship, When we got a employee to help us we could tell he didnt want to be there, Jim even said that it was his monday and why dont you guys get 3 days off. Any way getting of topic we went to a different employee so we wouldnt have to deal with Jim again but he had to refer us back to Jim. I am also going to give you 2 stars for replying back to my comment and hope you see this update. THANK YOUWorst place to get any appliances, was looking for a dryer found one but it didnt have a tag, took 5 mins to find a employee but he was busy which is understandable because they looked busy. He then went and got another employee that had been at his desk watching us looking for help his name was Jim. Jim then gets me a price, we buy it and go to the loading dock to pick it up. Jim goes to wrap the new dryer and Im sure he put the dryer cord on the new Unscratched door on purpose, leaving 4 nice deep scratches in are new dryer door. Ive been shopping for appliances for several weeks, with little luck getting much interest from other appliance stores for decent customer service. Daniel at Johnson Bros was great! Knowledgeable, efficient, respectful of my preferences, and responsive. So glad this company is still in business and interested in keeping my business. Ill keep shopping there.

The buying experience was easy. Very helpful employees. The delivery was right on time with no problems. Why anyone in Central Oregon would buy from some where else is beyond my thinking. Lastly the price was in line with the big box stores.
We just browsed dishwashers for 30 minutes. Good selection of options to touch and feel.My issue is that no one ever acknowledged we were even in the store. I picked out the Bosch I wanted and was ready to buy, but the two available salesmen apparently werent interested. I made eye contact with one as we walked out and he didnt say a single word. Were headed to Standard now. Maybe theyd like to make a sale today.
In our current economic setting, appliances can be purchased through online, big box, or smaller companies. The defining value for me comes down to customer service, and how well the customer is taken care of through the process of purchase, delivery, and installation. Hands down, my wife and I were extremely satisfied with our dishwasher purchase and installation experience with Johnson Brothers and plan to visit them again when we upgrade other household appliances. Friendly service, very attentive, and they were able to answer all of our questions.
Over all good experience. Communication could be better for sure. Install crew should have drop clothes protective booties for their shoes, and a vacuum for when they are finished.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Lots of high end appliances to chose from, and staff is knowledgeable about them all. Had a warranty issue with my new Miele washer. One phone call and less than 4 days later, a replacement part was on my doorstep.

She even went through the steps on how to use it. We (on our part) could not pick it up for a week, she said no problem. I went into the store, knowing what I wanted and I waited to be helped. After being ignored for awhile, they had the new guy help me. The salesman was new but courteous and helped me decide if my installation plans would work. I had already spoke with a heating and sheet metal company and an engineer about my plans. Other than the new guy having some difficulty getting answers to my questions from other employees, everything was fine.When I went to pick-up the item, the salesman told me the manager wanted to speak to me. Not realizing I was being ambushed, I answered a couple of rather rude questions about my installation plans. The manager/owner then proceeded to insult, berate and humiliate me about my installation plans for something like 10 minutes. I would try to explain my reasoning and he would go off on another tirade. His reasoning didnt make sense, until I realized he assumed I had a gas range not an electric one, even though I had clearly said it was electric. It was obvious he wasnt listening to a thing I was saying. When I was finally able to point this out that I had an electric stove, he blubbered and then said well it still wouldnt work. I had to sign an agreement that the warranty was voided to remove my new appliance from the store. Refusing to buy the item would have cost me a heavy restocking fee.When I later hired and told this story to a reputable contractor, he laughed, and said it was typical. He, and another subcontractor, said there would be no problem using the product the way I wanted. I have NEVER been treated in such a rude manner by a store employee. He at no time, tried to be helpful, answer any questions or listen to my comments. He also treated his new salesman in a very rude manner. The original salesman agreed with me but waited till his boss was gone to tell me. I would tell any female customer to stay away unless you want to be ignored, treated like an idiot and insulted in front of everyone by a bully!! I cant think of a single reason to return to this store. The owner was Rude!!New kitchen is finished and my original plan worked out great! Thanks for nothing, Johnson and Bros. Great service! Purchased a refer it failed it was just out of warranty and could not be repaired. Dan my sales person helped me get a new one with the manufactures help which was over the top. I just purchased a new range and dish washer there pricing was better than Lowes or Home Depo by a lot . I like to by local anyway thanks again for the great service!
Since 1 star means I hate Johnson Appliances, I have to go with 2 stars, which means I dislike Johnson, strongly I might add. If you take away Sears, Bend has two places to go for large appliances, Johnson and Standard Appliance. We chose Johnson because initially they seemed more responsive. Our order for a pro range and hood totaled around $7500. We were never notified when our appliances were ready for delivery, we had to continue to contact the sales person; our order was delayed by a few weeks but we were only told after we had placed the order, and finally, Johnson movers would not bring the appliance into our home. I dont know about most people, but a 6 burner pro range stove sitting on your porch is difficult to deal with. Spare me the liability stories, Albert Lee in Seattle will arrange for installation. That means bringing the appliance into your home.And last but not least, never a word of thanks for our order. We came to realize that Johnson really couldnt give a bleep about its customers. We wont be returning.
I will post this review in as many places as I can. Great customer service! The stove in our Sunriver rental home stopped working and after an appliance repair person came to look at it, he determined that the stove shorted out and the parts for it are no longer available. I was given Darren Hesss name at Johnson Brothers. I called Darren in a mild panic and within 20 minutes he had found a stove that would fit the configuration of our current slide in stove. Darren then took the time to call around to find a licensed contractor to install the stove for us. Its so refreshing to find this kind of customer service! Thank you Darren for your time and your calm demeanor. We will be buying our future appliances from Johnson Brothers.
In July I, 2016 purchased from Johnson brothers appliance a Frigidaire professional model stove. When they delivered it came damaged. I was told because it was only cosmetic that they would have to send a repair person out to order parts. Now almost one year later and six or seven service calls it still is not repaired like new. They replaced at least six damaged parts and we are still waiting for the front door panel two arrived to finish all the repairs, they have ordered four or five door panels and theyve all came damaged. Hopefully this Monday everything will be repaired. It would be nice if they would stand behind their products more. Im sure with the six or seven service calls it wouldve paid for a brand-new stove which we thought we had purchased. I would not recommend buying from this company again and they dont seem to stand behind their product

Ive shopped at several appliance stores and enjoy the local, friendly service from Johnsons. Darren is knowledgable and really worked with us to find exactly what we were after and within our budget too. Id recommend them to anyone.For what its worth, when you read a negative review or two here - or anywhere - just remember three things. First, in spite of their best intentions, no appliance store will be perfect. Second, those few negative experiences are far more likely to be reported than the positive ones are. And finally, there are always two sides to a story.Johnson Brothers is the real deal.

I would give less than 1 star if I could. We purchased a Speed Queen Dryer there on 3/14/19 and have had multiple issues with it (i.e. not drying) in the first 30 days weve had it. Waiting on a second service call as now its making horrible noises. Not the kind of product we expected for close to a thousand bucks.
