We explained our problem to the GM and he addressed it and gave us to a wonderful sales person, Mike Jones who helped us pick out a car and was patient to work with us all day. I would recommend anyone to buy a car at this dealership as everyone we have come in contact with have been so helpful and accommodating I appreciate their help so much!

I canβt say enough good things about my experience at Chevy Chase Cars Body Shop. Staff, especially Richard Guerrero, helped me through the process of collecting my estimates and arranging for additional coverage for body work necessitated by freaky hail damage. The car was returned beautifully fixed, clean, and earlier than predicted. I asked Mr. Guerrero for additional business cards to give out to friends.I qualify as a βSenior Citizenβ and have found that many service providers donβt covet this age group as customers. For example, my TV/Phone Cable provider lacks the patience to explain things and keep in contact when I have a concern. Mr. Guerrero made sure I understood all of my options, what the body work charges would be, the fact that he was in contact with my insurance company, and what progress was being made.
The sales representative I worked with, Mr. Leroy Taylor, was fantastic! Mr. Taylor was very professional and showed me all the cars I was interested in. He printed all the car specs out and let me see all the differences between models and prices. The presentation of each car was extremely transparent. After talking with Leroy I knew exactly what I was going to buy and at what price. Then he introduced me to the manager: Mr. Robert Cumberland. After a short conversation, Mr. Cumberland gave me an offer way better than the original price. I told him I was going to visit other dealers before taking a decision and, without any pressure, he let me go. After visiting Ford, Hyundai, Honda and Mazda I figured that Mr. Cumberland gave me the best offer on the market at the first visit!I didnt have any reason for not buying from them: the price was good and the salesman was amazing (by far the best in the DC area)When I went back to finalize the purchase, it took us four hours. There were other customers before me and it was on Sunday at the end of the month. So, I cant say if they were slower than the usual.I was very happy with the car and the whole experience.

I ended up getting out the door with an amazing certified RDX below my budget and I honestly couldnβt be happier with my purchase.Everyone I dealt with from Sales Manager on down was very welcoming and courteous. Iβm big on customer service and they didnβt disappoint. I highly recommend visiting Chevy Chase when youβre ready for your next vehicle. Once you experience their service and attention to detail youβll understand why theyβre so highly rated.In addition, I realized when I got home from purchasing the vehicle that I left CDβs in the disc changer. Some of them were very important as they could not be replicated. I sent them an email in reference to this and I received a response seconds later saying they were getting packaged and shipped out to my home. Low & behold I received them in the mail a couple days later!

My service manager, Rick, is great, never trying to talk me into more work than my car needs, but always keeping me apprised of things I need to monitor and address. They have incredibly convenient hours making it easier to drop my car off, even pick up as late as 9 PM. The quality is always top notch and Im never surprised by an item on the bill that we have not discussed.
Just moved here from Atlanta and needed to take my MDX for service. I was use to waiting for 4 to 5 hours for an Oil Change and needing to go check with my Service Specialist several times on the progress. Not here....They met me at my car got me checked in explained everything they were doing clearly and the work was done in less than 2 hours I was shocked. Very good experience. Tyre was excellent in his approach when I arrive, he tagged my car immediately, did not have to wait very long for him to aclnowledge that i was there waiting, the other techs never acknowledge me. I think that is one flaw of the staff there. Ceasar was very professional and I liked working with him at the end.

Bought a 2017 Acura RDX seen on Cars app. Actually, we initially wanted to get the Technology package, but we went for the Advanced trim, which is better. Salesman was Mohammed. Overall experience was positive with price, all questions answered, test drive, nice presentation of car features and dealership services, and financing flexibility to reach fixed target monthly payment. Did not score 5 stars because one wheel had significant scratch on the rim (about 1/3 of the circumference), which should have been pointed out (only saw it at drive off). Also, trade-in offer was acceptable, but could have been a bit higher.1/31/2020 update. Changed to 5 stars. Dealership fixed the rim, and now it looks like new. Plus, at no charge. Thank you!
Friendly sales and service staff with a location walkable to the Bethesda Metro. They have Saturday morning service hours. I had an issue with my trunk and they fit me in quickly on a Saturday and took care of the issue. The staff Ive dealt with have been quite friendly and helpful.

I went in ready to purchase a vehicle. The test-drive was exceptionally pleasant. The sales rep I worked with, Leroy, was absolutely phenomenal. I would give him 5 stars if that was the end of the story. After the test drive, I spoke with the manager and told him I had located a vehicle at a good price elsewhere and was only interested in purchasing if he could provide a competitive offer. From that point, it took over an hour for them to provide me any numbers at all. I sat next to the office exploring the car I wanted to purchase and listened to three people goof off, including the person that was supposedly working to pull up pricing for me. I was the only customer in the sales room. As another reviewer mentioned, the pricing was far from transparent once it was finally provided. I was not provided a print out of the vehicle I was being quoted, was not allowed to take the quote provided, could not get the money factor or residual on a quoted lease, etc. etc. I have been to several dealerships in the last few weeks, and this was by far the worst experience in terms of straight-forward, honest information about pricing.They eventually offered a competitive price--I think--but they didnt provide the information clearly enough for me to be certain, Im unlikely to purchase from them due to the sheer annoyance with the process. Ive been to several dealers at this point and know it only takes a few minutes for them to get some numbers as a place to start. Waiting over an hour for the first number when there is no one else in the showroom is ridiculous. Dont get me wrong--Leroy was phenomenal and is by far the best salesman Ive met with so far. But whomever was behind the scenes supposedly running numbers (Luiz, I think) was terrible. Very disappointing, as I would have loved to do business with Leroy.

The service department at Chevy Chase Acura is first class in all respects. I have been taking my vehicle there since I purchased it from them as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in August of 2018. One of the perks of buying yourcar at Chevy Chase is 6 free oilchanges for 2 years and unlimited car washes for free. When they did a front brake job after about 30k, the brakes felt exactly as they had when I purchased the car. I started driving part time for a rideshare company and so have had more frequent maintenance needs. I can only say that having my vehicle serviced at Chevy Chase always gives me peace of mind that the job is being done right the first time. They know Acuras inside and out and will provide the best most up to date care possible. Every service comes with a complimentary car wash. Also, I know people seem to think that taking your car to the dealer will always be lore expensive but I believe that their pricing is competitive and more than fair. Itβs been a pleasure to have them service my vehicle.
Experienced what I thought was a major car issue and feared the worse. The staff fit me in for service on a Friday afternoon, quickly determined this was an issue with my air filter being misplaced by my last oil service (at Jiffy Lube). Nissan recommended a system flush and had me back on the road safely in about an hour. Im especial pleased with Jose who walked me through the entire process; paniced phone call, meeting the tow truck driver and showing me the issue with the filter.

Dont EVER go here. After my terrible experience with the body shop a few years ago, I decided to give the service department a try because there was a special on tires using the Nissan One-to-One rewards points. I picked out the tires online and scheduled my appointment. I even later spoke to someone by phone confirming the appointment. When I arrived, they had no idea that I wanted tires/which tires I wanted. The ones I selected were not currently in stock. They could try to get them in later in the day, but offered no guarantee. Making matters even worse, they couldnt pull up the correct rewards info on their machine, although they were aware of the promotion. My options were to either get a different more expensive set of tires, or cross my fingers that: 1-they could find the tires that day and 2-they could figure out the correct rewards. I told them Id go to Goodyear instead. When leaving, the service guy told me the rewards would not discount my purchase today, but could only be used for a later purchase, which did not sound accurate. I later called the rewards# and found out this was wrong.At Goodyear, I picked the tires and made the appointment online, and had no issues whatsoever.Be warned - DO NOT go to this dealership. Go anywhere else.
I would love to give a zero star, but I guess I cant! Worst sales experience in my life. They only gave partial information always. Hours wasted to finally get to a print out of cost. They would not let me compare lease vs. buy options--only gave me partial information. They would not let me even take the printouts home so I could put it in a spreadsheet to compare. The bottom line was that the price they showed me for leasing was twice (twice) what Passport Nissan in Alexandria (my comparator) quoted. Twice! I dont care what they want to try to sell the car to me for, but I really wish they did not waste all of the hours to get to the number.So beware of wasted time and expensive deal at the end!
Easy peasy is all there is to say. I drove in and left 3 mins later. They told me it would take a week, but they were done in 3 days. I went to pick up the car and left, again, three mins later. And the car looks great!

AFTER THE TEST DRIVE WE WERE PLEASED & CONVINCED THAT THAT WAS THE CAR WE WANTED AND SO WE DECIDED TO TAKE THE PLUNGE AND BOUGHT A NEW CAR.HANDED THE TITLE AND KEYS OF THE OLD CAR AND THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE THE END OF IT, BUT ITS BEEN NOTHING BUT A NIGHTMARE FOR US THE CAR UP TO THIS DATE HAS NOT BEEN PAID OFF TO THE BANK, CALL JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER DAY AND KEEP GETTING THE RUN AROUND BY A BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT PERSONNEL.IN SHORT, I WOULD ADVISE ANYBODY NOT TO DO ANY BUSINESS AT THE CHEVY CHASE ACURA NISSAN DEALERSHIP IT WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF TIME AND FRUSTRATION.

Service is good, sometimes excellent but they are slow. Maybe due to lack of staff but I waited over 2 hours for a oil/filter change and tire rotation. And I got there a half a hour before my appointment.
No one answerers the phone. Ive called several times and nothing. Good customer service starts with the simple task of answering their phones and they havent done it. Hard to trust a dealership that cant complete simple tasks.

I called to beat an existing new car offer and I think Robert or George is the guy on phone told me why do you even try to beat the offer and what fun you get out of it and it will ruin your car buying experience and fun blah blah blah...basically they wont honor customer wish instead they try to talk your idea out of your mind. You know they suddenly hang up after some discussing because I asked point to point - can you beat it or no?. They dont have ba$$s to beat the others offers. Waste of time on phone itself imagine if i would have gone in person i would have regretted it so bad. Any way I bought car someplace else than here. They lost me as customer for their business.
No one in the Nissan service department ever answer the phone. This morning they wouldnt even answer the phone from the Nissan service appointment desk.I used to get great service when David was the service manager, however, since his departure there seems to be total chaos.Really unfortunate decline

Worse experience in 35 years of buying cars. Turned in a lease 6 weeks ago, still have not reported it to Nissan and now my credit is screwed up. I have been trying to get fixed for weeks and they are totally unresponsive.
Abysmal service. The car we were promised was not at the dealership when we arrived, despite assurances from a salesman a few hours earlier that the car was indeed reafy for purchase that day. No coherent explanation for this discrepancy was offered, no apology made, and in fact, manager Boyd was expressly condescending in his attitude. We gave them a chance to redeem themselves by matching another local Nissan dealers price on a more expensive, but 2013, model, but they were uninterested in doing so, and frankly seemed unconcerned about selling anything to us. We should have walked out as soon as we realized they misled us, we advise you never to walk in.
If I could put 0 star I would. I would never trust this dealership again. I bought the car without thinking about getting the axel checked. Went to get an oil change at there service department and found out a whole lot of other things were wrong with my car. Initially they themselves did the inspection on the car before I bought it so obviously they are going pass the inspection (I will be moving forward with reporting that inspector by the way). After getting the oil change I got a report stating that my car axel was bad. I met with the guy mechanic and he showed me the axel and explained to me that is was wear and tear. Iβve only had this car for less than 3 months so this problem existed before I bought the car but they swept it under the rug. Never again!!!! A lesson learned though, check every single thing before getting a car. Worst service too.
Iβve been looking for an Acura RL to replace my 2009 TL. I saw an ad on CL and inquired with the used car folks at Chevy Chase Pre Owned Super Center. There was only one phone all to see if I wanted to schedule a test drive. After a week, I called and Kareem coordinated availability to make sure that there was someone available when I arrived. The Vehicle was pulled off the showroom floor and into the parking lot prior to my arrival. The RL was just as it appeared in the ad and cleaner than I expected it to be. It was as clean as a brand new vehicle with a much more attractive bottom line. Kareem and Bill were very helpful and there was absolutely no pressure. Fantastic experience I test drove it for 45-60 minutes and I thoroughly looked it over. Finally, I went inside and Bill had me written up in no time. He even had fresh chocolate chip cookies. This was a CPO Acura and it has a fantastic warranty (7 year/100k miles on power train. Bonus, I get free car washes for life and free oil changes for a couple years. I also get a loaner car if I have to take it in for service. I went to finance and it too was a pain free experience with Gio. Bill helped me move all my stuff between my car and the new car and I was out the door. Thanks guys. Great experience!!!
When looking to lease a Nissan Leaf, I explained to my sales agent that I would not be able to charge my car at work because I am a federal employee, and that it is not allowed. He asked what type of mileage I would be commuting, and I explained that it was around 80 miles round trip. He said that would NOT be a problem; that I would be able to go more that 100 miles, and based on the fact that the A/C and Heater are powered by the Solar Panel, I would also be able to utilize the A/C and heater at will. To my surprise, now in the excessive summer and winter temps, this was not true. The solar panel charges an accessory battery which powers the audio system, supplemental restraint systems, headlights and windshield wipers. When utilizing the A/C and heater systems, the mileage is significantly reduced, leaving me unable to make my required distances that was promised originally by the sales staff. At this point I am forced to drive the vehicle with my windows down, exposing me to allergens and commuter exhaust in in the summer, and wrapped in blankets (which I assume is degrading my safety and ability to properly react) in the winter months.

Then all they could say was we didnt do anything wrong.I have owned/leased nissan for 6 years and I have never seen such crappy service.Now its time to turn in my nissan and I couldnt be happier, this dealerships irresponsibility and lack of professionalism is so bad that I dont ever want to deal with such garbage again.STAY AWAY. I purchased my car starting with the internet price listed on their website. I dealt with Rosine. I felt I got a fair deal and the sales staff is very nice and low pressure. There was some haggling, nothing major. I already knew what I wanted to pay and we reached that.Be prepared for : The Finance Guy.. he on the other hand, had ALL the classic strong arm tactics. This tobacco stinking sales guy is the heavy hitter. My favorite line from him (concerning a scratch I was waiting to get buffed out)YOU WILL NEVER FIND A NEW CAR IN PERFECT CONDITION ........ really??!?He played the WAITING GAME TRICK with me keeping me waiting for hours - ((do car dealers really still do that?????!!!))

Took me in on short notice for service on a holiday.
I previously had my 2007 Nissan Sentra serviced there and overall, had a pleasant experience. So, Im surprised to read the negative comments. The service manager, Jeff Lee, as well as Anthony and David, always went the extra mile for me...without exception. Sadly, the stores customer service however, was and still is abysmal. On 9/2/14, I spent over 45 minutes trying to get to the parts department to order a simple product. From my first attempt, I was put on hold for over 10 minutes and then transferred back to the operator. Then, I was put on hold again and finally transferred to a voicemail. After calling back a third time and voicing my frustration and desire to speak with a live person and stressing that I wanted to buy a part (give them MONEY), she transferred me to a voicemail. A while later, I tried a 4th time and got the parts guy. He said to take his direct number and call him back when I had the vin for the car. He said that was necessary for him to find the cargo net part I wanted. I called on 9/3/14 at 8am and left the vin # on the parts voicemail. 2 hours later, still no call. Called another Nissan dealer, got through on the first call, and they didnt need the vin #. Still havent received call from Chevy Chase Nissans parts department. The owner should be ashamed. Its sad because the service people really went the extra mile to help me and fix problems. They deserve better. I would strongly suggest that if you want your car serviced, still go there. But, do not buy a car from them or even try to get a part. They are an embarrassment...and worse, they dont care.
I went into the dealership on a Winter snow day because it would be quiet as eveyone else was at home. It was a dicey drive but I really wanted to check out the GTR. My lady and I are seriously considering the purchase and was looking forward to the viewing. However, we when asked to look at the interior the salesman said the battery of the vehicle was dead. When I requested further, he proceeded to tell me that we can only allow you see it if you are purchasing it and this was an order by the manager. Needless to say, this turned out to be a condescending and snobbing experience. We left without saying a word and very disappointed especially after the long drive in the snow. This dealership will not get any of my future business and I will not recommend them to anyone. The sales team is sitting way too high. We proceeded to the BMW dealership down the road to check out the M5 series, and the experience was totally awesome and friendly. Cmon Nissan, really?!

Summary: If you expect to be served respectfully, and on promised time, both before and after after buying car AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. I wish I had. Now I am stuck with their nighmaresome customer service. ALSO be vary of other reviews, there is a trend of best comments that looks and feels like reviews by own employees.Pros: only one - Sales team, even though not the most knowledgeble, is not very pushy. Easy to work with.CONS:(1) VERY bullish tactics by the so called finance manager (as a matter of fact he is just pushy salesman who tries to sell bundles and other products once you finalize deal with salesman, with zero knowledge of finance, didnt even know how to calculate how much down payment should be to match my desired monthly payment)(2) POOREST after-sale customer service. They gave me 2 keys out of which one doesnt even work, I have been to dealership twice over weekend each time they flat out refused to fix the problem saying I must come over weekdays even though they knew before selling car that I was moving out of state. Issue is yet to be resolved and NO ONE, salesman, service department, manager or that idiot finance guy who gave me the key is willing to resolve it.I purchased XZILON coating with promise on their end that they will complete service very next morning.After making me wait for 4 hours next morning their final answer was that parts werent in stock and I would have to return later on to get service completed.(3) WORST AFTER SALE CUSTOMER SERVICE attitude by staff: on my last visit to dealership salesman was totally clueless on how and where to find help, when he finally figured it only answer he had for me was that Sorry we cant help you today. They even lack the knowledge on different technology the car comes with. What made it worse was that the salesman promised he would find answers and get back to me, Never heard from him and when I visited 2nd time and asked same question, he was still as clueless as before followed by another set of fake promises of finding answers and getting back to me.Also I asked for refund on XZILON the very day they failed to fulfil service agreement. It has been 12 days since and that finance guy is still trying to talk/delay his way out of it rather than taking care of refund. Luckily for me I have backup for email and fax receipts for my cancellation request, but for someone blindly trusting them can surely get screwed over. Upon confronting this guy, he had audicity to say he had to attend to other customer so I should LEAVE HIS OFFICE and email him cancellation request.Bottomline, if you expect to be served respectfully, and on promised time, both before and after after buying car AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. I wish I had. Now I am stuck with their nighmaresome customer service.
Extremely deceptive. Salesman, Greg, gave me a quote in the beginning of the conversation, but he ended up giving me a significantly higher quote than the first. Greg decided to share this information AT THE END when I was ready to sign the contract....He said, Oh, by the way, your monthly payment is higher than what I suggested in the beginning. Why did he share this information in the beginning? Probably because he didnt want me to go to a different dealership, it was part of his sneaky strategy to have me sign the contract. In addition, I spoke to the manager, Boyd, which turned out to be a nightmare. He was rude and unprofessional. Rather than solving the problem and working with me, he wanted to argue making it seem like I was at fault; moreover, he told me to leave since I wouldnt take his outrageous deal. I will NEVER recommend anyone to this location.
