Great service every time. Ive had my diesel truck emissions done here a few times and since Im always overdue for one, I add on an oil change/inspection. Theyre honest about what truly needs to be replaced right then (which was only once), and they tell me what may need replacement at my next regular inspection, even though I have those done at a place closer to home.Ive always been able to get an appointment within a few days and they get both services done in less than and hour (usually 30-45 minutes).. **I always go during weekday work hours... not evenings or weekends., so I cant speak to those busier times.I highly recommend them for these services!
Our car broke down right in front of there shop. The owner came to ourbhelp to push in our car into there shop. The owner is honest and cares about is customers. He doesnt gauge. If you want honest business come here.
Did a quick diesel emission test. Good work.
I am extremely happy with H&M! I dont think people know what all this place does, I definitely didnt. So far Ive taken a diesel truck for emissions and service. I had a diesel Grand Cherokee they also did emission/check up on. Also a gas Grand Cherokee just recently for service. They rebuilt a 1956 Buick transmission for me and also did a clutch and transmission for a 1969 Roadrunner for me. They seemingly do it all. I havent had a problem with anything yet. The only downside is they stay pretty busy, which I think is kind of a good thing. So make sure to make an appt and you might not get a day turn around on something. Overall a great local shop! Great local people! I would absolutely recommend.
Went in for emissions test quick simple and professional. Great experience.
Had work done on my transmission and they honor their warranties fixed it without the extra cost cause it was still covered by the warranty
Excellent service and very professional. They had me in and out in under 20 minutes for an emissions test
After many years of service, I should have mentioned much earlier how awesome these people are!Thank you Greg for being one of the best representatives! Let’s goooo 2021!
In and out quickly. Courteous service.
In the two service visits I have had with H&M I have been very impressed with the professional and friendly service. As this truck is my first diesel, Greg has really offered me balanced and sound advice on how to care for it. In this last visit they were more than fair in how they handled my repair work. They have won a repeat customer as I will be back. Thank you!
Excellent service.....Thanks, RBW
Very expensive, they charged me $470 for six spark plugs and one ignition coil. Service engine came on a week later took the car back, they charged me $115 just to connect their computer to read the code. Something that auto zone would do for free. This is my fist bad review for any business. Called Nissan dealer in Littleton $509 for the same service.
I have been a customer to H&M and I love those guys! They ALWAYS get it right! They price things fairly and correctly, I have never had any issues! I took my Jeep in for a misfire issue and they took great care of me. I priced the work with 2 other shops, including the dealership and they were right on the money. I used to take my Nissan to a competitor and when I brought it to the H&M EXPERTS they found out that Keller Auto was not putting synthetic oil in my car and I just about lost it all! The mechanic flushed and fixed everything! The Nissan runs like new again! I also have my daughters Jeep serviced there! It has over 120k on it and they keep it running great!Furthermore, they are always STRAIGHT FORWARD. They know what they are doing and I would trust them with any vehicle I own! Thanks H&M!!
A year ago I took my car into H&M Transmission for repairs. They treated me right then and have been treating me right for the last year. They have done my brakes and told me that they could turn my rotors instead of replacing them. The staff here is great. Paul and Greg are really honest and knowledgeable.
The best shop I ever been at I would recommend anyone to try it, you won’t waste your time.
We have been to several shops around town and the other Castle Rock transmission shop that wed never go back to. Someone referred us to H and M when our Jeep liberty needed a transmission rebuild. We were treated fairly the job done in a timely manner. We have since been back for other repairs and would recommend them.
I need some work on my transmission. The customer service was great and I got my car back in no time. Very professional job
Great place for diesel emissions, can schedule a time, they honor it, give an estimate of completion and thats right on too, price is fair.
Easiest, fastest diesel inspection ever. Nice guys working there and a fair price too. Glad I found them!
Prompt, friendly service.
H and M have performed numerous repairs on both of my vehicles. They stand by their work. One of my vehicles is older and they have been quite considerate about helping me detain this Chevy. Their customer service is A plus. Thank you H&M.
I dont write a lot of reviews, but I feel like I should write one for H&M Transmission. My car had an intermittent flash AT oil temp light that was extremely difficult to reproduce, it comes on randomly, goes away immediately as soon as I turn off the engine, and will not come back on even if I turn on the engine right away. However, I was able to get the error code with a scanner, and from my research it was most likely an electrical issue (bad wire or connector). I took my car to one transmission shop, but they couldnt figure out the problem. Since H&M Transmission has a lot of positive reviews, I decided to have them look at it as well. I wrote down the error code and gave it to the ladies at the front desk, explained the randomness of the problem, and told them its extremely difficult to reproduce with any consistency. One of them said, sounds like an electrical problem. The ladies were very nice and seemed to genuinely care about your car issues. I think thats probably why H&M get so many good reviews. But the positive things about H&M stops there. They called me back later in the day and told me they couldnt reproduce the flash oil temp light (no duh!), but based on the way my car drives, and my transmission fluid is black and smells burnt, my torque converter is going bad and Ill need a new transmission. Estimated cost? $2200. Again, the ladies at the front desk was super nice and very sympathetic when I went to pick up my car. One of them even suggested that I should just drive it until the transmission finally goes out then tow it in for the new transmission, which sounded very sensible. I was fairly distraught about needing a new transmission, I didnt even bother to ask them why they charged me close to $100 for their diagnostic, which basically was their technician driving my car around for a bit then checking the transmission fluid dip stick. When I got home, I checked my transmission fluid and it was bright red and smelled just like the day I put it in. Feeling a bit suspicious about their diagnostic, I took my car to the first transmission shop which didnt charge me anything for diagnostic and asked them to focus on the wiring. They still couldnt find any issues, but they told me that they were able to pull the same error code as I did. So I asked them to drop the transmission pan and check the wiring inside just to humor me. They asked to charge me $100 for the labor to do that which I agreed to. They didnt find any problems either, but they said they cleaned all the connectors in there while they had the pan off. Its been a month since they did that, and the AT oil temp light has not flashed again. So H&M charged me close to $100 for doing basically nothing, and wanted another $2,200 for something I was able to fix for $100. Im never going back to H&M again.
I have been taking my vehicles for around 4 years to H&M and have been very happy with their work. Transmission service has always been done to my satisfaction and they clearly explain what is going on with my vehicles. They use fluids that are highly rated and I know as I am a big researcher. I call for a good day to bring my vehicle in and it is always done on time. Love how knowledgeable and upbeat Steph is at the front desk.
The Best!
Fast and friendly
Fast friendly service, honest and great job, whatever you need
Worst experience as a consumer in my life. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!! Took 2 months to rebuild and beef up my transmission, failed less than 2500 miles after that. Took it back in because it was obviously still under warranty and thats when the lies and excuses started and went on for 6 MONTHS. I finally removed my truck from them and took it some where else who flawlessly made the transmission in 2 weeks time. The only thing Paul knows is how the law works. I took him to court and all he had to say was that the transmission was a custom unit, which by law gives him no time limit. And the fact that when I took the truck back, all he had to say that he wanted to work on it / make it right. Colorado care clause. Long story short, I paid him 4700$ for a transmission that only went 2500 miles and sat at his shop for 8 months. Extremely dishonest and NO quality. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH H&M!!!!!!!!
I was very impressed with H&M with my front bumper replacement. The paint matching was high quality and they even took care of installing new brakes on my car while the other work was being done. Easy to work with and were very accommodating with my busy schedule.
These guys are great! They took great care of me and didnt try to sell me something I did not need! I would highly recommend H&M to anyone who needs great customer service and excellent vehicle repair be it an oil change or body work as they do it all!H&M is reputable and they stand by their work!!
I recently used H&M to repair a cracked bumper on my 2001 VW Beetle. The car is old and has high mileage so I didnt want to spend a lot getting the damage repaired. They were able to source low cost replacement parts and fixed it in a day. The car now looks great and the repair cost me less than half the price of the first quote I received from the dealer. If youre anywhere near Castle Rock, I highly recommend H&M for collision repair and general automotive repair and maintenance.
I was terrified to be taking my car in a transmission shop with what I though was serious transmission problem. I turns out that the problem was a reasonably simple fix. I appreciate H&Ms honesty, professionalism, quality and speed of service. It was well worth a little extra time to take it down to Castle Rock. Thanks guys, and I will be recommending you to anyone needing transmission or auto repair work.
Weve taken our vehicles to H&M for major repairs as well as regular maintenance and Im always impressed. Mike and the crew always have such great customer service and I always feel confident that my car is in good shape when I drive away. I would highly recommend H&M Transmission.
Mike, Paul and their crew are professional, on-time and get stuff done at a lower price than anyone else around. If you are looking for a place to take your car or truck, then start here because you wont need to go anywhere else. These guys are the picture you see in the dictionary under the word integrity.
Will definitely be taking all my vehicles here! Great customer service. They made sure the repair was done quickly and correctly!
I have used H&M on several occasions for both of our cars. Mike and his team are courteous and honest. I really like the fact they they take the time to explain the issues and options that are available to me. Thanks.
I was quoted for $700-$900 to repair my truck. Then I get a call from H&M telling me my truck will cost $2700. After disputing this, my bill was still at $1700. They rebuilt the top half of my motor and couldnt even replace the spark plugs. After taking it back to them 3 times for misfire codes, they tried to charge me again to put in new spark plugs. Wheres the quality in the service? Not to mention they talked to me like Im stupid. I will never take my business there again.
Rebuilt our transmission and it is AWESOME! Paul did a fantastic job. Highly recommend these guys.
They are a outstanding company. They provide quality work and I will always head to them if I need any body or transmission work. Thank you for your quality vehical service repair.
Huge shout out to Dr. Mike & Dr. Paul at H&M Transmission. We have a 1961 converted ice cream truck, #HUMPHREY, that is the only store we have for Ooey Gooey. They are the only ones I trust with this truck after really sketchy service else where! Wednesday, I had to tow Humphrey to them after the battery cables melted and filled the cab with smoke - scary, right?!?! I cannot say enough about this local, veteran-owned company that knew I had huge events scheduled this weekend and needed the truck to honor the commitments we had made. They worked hard until #HUMPHREY came back to life, were great at answering my questions and explaining what had happened so I can understand it, showing me the melted cables, and doing whatever they had to do to have our vehicle back in time for a private party on Saturday. Thank you!!!
Great service and fair pricing on diesel emission tests.
Absolutely horrible service. I have been lied to far to long with these people. I mean how many times can you tell some one parts are coming but the car never gets done?!The front counter lady Stephanie is absolutely horrible to deal with, extreamly rude and makes it clear she has no care for customer service and Paul is no better, very arrogant and hot tempered. My husband used them for transmission work, and lets just say it was a HUGE let down. I have never used a business with such horrible attitude and customer service.
These are exactly the car mechanic scumbags you always heard about. Took a car in for a diagnostic and had it returned a month later in worse condition than I brought it in, car was in running condition before they got it, and Ive had to pay multiple mechanics to fix the damages they had done. I cant agree with the first review enough, these guys really are criminals.
BEWARE OF THESE GUYS! I have an automotive repair shop and these guys TRIED to rebuild a transmission for myself based on a recommendation from a former technician that left to come work at my shop. These are the guys making a mockery of this business and have NO business being in business. Instead of just rebuilding the transmission and remedying the mistake, they chose to throw themselves around like children slandering everyones name including the former technician that they missed so immensely????? I dont know what happened, but I think lack of time management is the biggest factor causing integrity to be compromised. Oddly enough they have ethical banners hanging above their bays that makes even less sense. Throw a rock and hit a more ethical repair shop. This business is difficult, however there ARE individuals who can handle the stress and guys that cant. These guys cant.
Not sure what happened with H and M. I feel like Paul went above and beyond to put a built tranny in my Cummins, but his customer service went out the window after it was installed. Ive sent emails and left messages regarding some other work I wanted HM to do to my truck and have been totally ignored. I finally was able to get Paul on the phone early one morning and he said he would call me right back...never heard from him again. Hope they did a good job on my tranny because I do not want to deal with them any more should I have a warranty issue.
Mike and his crew were fantastic! My transmission was completed on-time and under budget. Thanks Guys!
Always bring my car to H & M transmission, Never have had a problem getting my car back when they say it will be done. they are very good at explaining to me what is going on with my car and fix the problem the first time.
Im editing an earlier poor posting. It turns out that my frustrations with their lack of communication seemed to have been cuased by their answer machine and how phone calls get forwarded.I did have some problems with the results of the repair, the alignment wasnt completed to spec by the shop they used and the car pulled to the left. There were some tough conversations, but they backed up their work.In the end I took the car back, had the alignment done to spec including replacing some camber bolts. They didnt charge me for the new camber bolts either. I have the car back and its tracking just fine.UPDATE:The main reason I brought the car here, twice, was to fix a leak. Originally I thought it to be the tranny pan but they had informed me last year it was the seals where the axles enter the case. Since the boots on the axles were torn this second trip was to fix all that. I ended up tralking with multiple people and in the end the seals were not replaced and this time they said they didnt need it.Well the leaks worse. Also, when I brought the car in she shifted fine. Since I got it back its developed something call a shift flare. Basically if Im not cautious the transmission shifts into a false neutral between second and third gear and I cant go over 20 miles per hour. I have to pull over, shut off the car and restart.Theres a fix for that, replacing the B4 Server cover, flushing the tranny and getting a TCO software update, but what bugs me is that I told them about this when I got the car after this latest repair and they were either so ticked off at me because of my earlier complaint that they didnt check it, or address it other than to say they topped off the fluid. They may not want me back as a customer and I dont think I would risk going back. If you have a problem with their work complain they might make it right, at least they made the alignment folks they subcontracted make it right< but their own work? Im not in the habit of throwing away good money after bad.I had hoped that after this last repair the car would be in good enought condition to gift my brother and his family, but now I have to find someone trustworthy to address the leaky seals and the shift flare problem.Another update: it simply amazing that they didnt address the seal leak and if fact insisted this last time that there were no problems with the seal. See the leaks persisted as did the shift issue to the point where I had to take the car somewhere else. What they found was that the car has some cracks in the case from an earlier accident that had been welded and sealed. When the axles were replaced by H&M it appears that they drove the bearing into the case and reopened the cracks, which had been sealed with expoxy. The net result is I have a working car again, but it cost me a few thousand dollars more becuase I ended up having to replace the transmission.H&M didnt cause the original damage, but they werent honest with me and theres no way they couldnt know in any of the three prior visits what was really wrong with the car....
Waiting 3 monthes for them to rebuild my transmission. Not even 100 miles later it failed. 2 more monthes of it sitting at their shop and they havent even touched it. Hard pressed to find worse customer service.
Stereotypical slimy dishonest mechanics.
Only been here twice, for diesel smog testing, but the people here are friendly and got the job done quickly. 👍👍
Nice people very knowledgeable
Prompt & excellent service
Awesome customer service!!
Fast and friendly
Dishonest people.
When Paul is there
Great shop!!!
