Where do I start .. I picked this place to take my car because they had all good reviews but little did I know that they was going to rip my car apart I have a 2006 crown Victoria police engine had the car for 3 years no oil leaks no kinda leaks at all . I went because I tried to changed my spark plugs myself .. which I did and the car wouldn’t crank took it to this place very unprofessional, couldn’t even call communicate with me about why my car wasn’t cranking told me one thing than cal back and somebody told me something different had my car for a month before calling me and telling me what’s wrong . Boom they finally got my car up and running . I took my car home and parked it because I brought a new car .. goes to drive my crown Victoria and coolant start leaking out from the pipes in the middle of my car now remind you I had this car for three years with no leaks, after that car over heating and caught on fire . I called to let the shop know and they had. I clue what they had did they tried to play me like I did something to my car took it back up there and the owner told me 900 more dollars after I just paid them almost 800 for some spark plugs .. don’t take your car here they don’t know what they doing they try to get over on you and get more money out of you .. they all white guys trying to come up I wouldn’t ever recommend anybody here

Mark was awesome he keep me posted on the total time was honest straight up quick as possible and very fair had front end done it was in bad shape did such a great job I took it back to have My transmission done and was very surprised he totally redid it was very happy 😊 I recommend him to any one needed work done ✅😃

Great experience. Friendly staff. They did my front and back breaks same day that I stopped in. They didnt try to upsell me on the rotors like another place already tried to. They checked them and told me that I was good for a while more with them. And they cleaned them up for me. Im glad to find a trustworthy place to go for my car. Ill be going back in the future.

My daughter is a student at UNCC. We live about 2 hours away. In September she had car trouble at 8:00 a.m on a Monday. I could not get to her or be there to help her immediately. So, on a referral we contacted B and A. From the first call to pick up of the vehicle they were outstanding! Frank and Anna were very friendly, kind, and helpful. The car needed a starter, which we had replaced locally a year ago. Frank recommended I claim a warranty, and he even helped me with the process. The repair was completed in a timely manner. Having to put your trust in someone to help your child is worth a million. I appreciate The staff at B and A. We will definitely use them in any future repairs. And highly recommend them to anyone. So thankful and grateful for the honesty, dependability and hard work. Thank you!

Went there to get my wheels aligned hoping it would fix the pull and shake of the steering wheel. Unfortionately I needed 2 new tires as mine were very worn. Mark was very accommodating and gave me a good price for the whole service.They even test drove my vehicle to make sure it was driving properly. Found my local place for future vehicle work.

Called this morning and was told to bring my car right over. They immediately put my car on the lift and confirmed my suspicion that I needed new brakes. The owner (Marc) promptly ordered the parts, had them delivered and fixed my car while I waited...all for hundreds less than a quote that I received from Firestone. This place is one of the last bastions of reputable independently owned garages. Definitely worth calling when you need brake, suspension, transmission, etc. work done to your vehicle.

I had some problems with my truck for many years. I was always hearing things shake and rattle near my wheels. I took to different recently mechanics. Which they charge me a fee every time to look at it. One day I ran over something and it bent my under carriage. I took it to the brake and alignment place. Every time I went to then to look at what was going on. They never charge a thing. I recently got something fixed and they did a great job. No more rattling no more vibrations. Job well done.

I purchased a vehicle from this place that isnt worth the time, headache, and money. They gave me this vehicle and the thing was shaking when I would be idled at a light as if it was about to cut off and it did this the entire time that I had the car. I took the car to them and they so called fixed what the issue was. They called my husband with a surprise that we had to pay over $80 for an oil change no one asked them for because they had to empty mine to get to the part that needed fixing. Got the car back and the same thing happened except this time the engine light was on. Two weeks later the car goes dead and Im stranded. Had to get the car towed back to them costing me $90 just to find out that they sold me a car with a battery that couldnt make it past 30 days. They call my husband with a quote of $277 to put a new battery in (at least I hope its new), labor, and god knows what else. I do not trust this place at all. Somehow it was our fault they let a car go for sell with an old battery and we have yet to see what else will go wrong with this vehicle. this car has been nothing but unreliable, undependable, and cost me money in a 30 day period. Do not buy a car from this place and I definitely wouldnt let them fix my personal vehicle either. They say they perform quality service and this statement isnt true. Quality service would be fixing the real issues the first time.

I was looking for a shop that would do wheel alignments other than the dealership because I thought a family owned business would be better and easier. I went there to get my civic hatch to get an alignment after I lowered my car, they were nice about it. Some guy came back inside to tell it would cost extra which would be (125$) because it was “lowered” that’s a first time I’ve heard that before. After I got my alignment I noticed that it still wasn’t alignment straight or to the center. I would drive with my steering wheel slightly to the left even though I’m driving straight. I went back the next day to ask them to fix it but they said they would give me a call whenever the “computer was fixed” it’s been over days and I’ve seen other cars in there for the alignment the same day I went to ask to get mines fixed. I ended up wasting 125$ for no reason. Basically just gave it away for free. Ended up going to a dealership to get it fixed and it was even cheaper than what they charged me. I gave this place a chance but they disappointed me.

Ive taken vehicles here for over two years now and always got great service. Thank god I went when I did because they took the time to find that one of my tie-rod ends was about to fall off and this could have caused serious damage to my truck and even hurt someone.Great business. These guys are great. Honest about what repairs are needed now and what can wait and their prices are reasonable. They also support the Humane Society so stop by get a alignment and support a good cause.

We were told by another car mechanic that we needed to replace all our brakes and rotors and that it would be over $800 to do it. We decided to call around to get quotes and stumbled upon this amazing and honest place. They looked at our car for free and told us we did not need any of the work done for another couple thousand miles and quoted us significantly below what the other shop did. They brought us into the shop and showed us the brakes and rotors and educated us. They didnt sell us what we didnt need. We will now always bring our cars here and are so grateful for the wonderful people that work here.

B&A Auto is the best automobile service in Charlotte. Good people, considerate, reasonable, not trying to sell me products or service I dont need. Extremely thorough and honest. I have been taking my cars to them since 2008. Was introduced to them by a friend and have recommended them for years. They have taken care of all my auto issues, even helped my handicapped brother sell his truck, and pushed back when some guy tried to treat my brother like an idiot because of his handicap. Yeah, 5 stars is not enough. 5+ from me for sure.

Im on my second vehicle from these guys and am always satisfied. They are honest and upfront. You cant find genuine people like them anymore when it comes to your finances and vehicles. Their awesome !!

This place is awesome! I believe his name is Frank, idk, but anyways, he’s a cool, honest person. He’s not a shady mechanic who charges high prices just for the hell of it, and my alignment is perfect. And they have a rescue fund for cats. Awesome, professional shop. 10/10!

Nice, honest mechanics. Ive been using them for oil changes to a sun roof replacement. Ive been going there for about three years. A little hard to find. You turn in at the Service King sign on N. Tryon and go to the left, down a little hill, through the gates its on the left.

Excellent service. Knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Best in Charlotte by far. Recommend without hesitation! Took my 97 Wrangler for major engine overhaul. They fixed what several couldnt even diagnose.

The service was excellent and inexpensive but dont go there if you plan to work while you wait. The waiting area reeks, several dogs and a cat behind the counter.

Honest dudes. Not trying to over sell you on parts that you may not necessarily need. They stand behind their work and have been at same spot since i was a kid. Will continue to use them as needed.

What a breath of fresh air. It is rare that I go into a mechanic that I dont feel like the wool is being pulled over my eyes. I went in for an alignment and decided to get my oil change done while I was there. The oil change was so cheap I asked what it would cost to switch over to synthetic and he advised me against it because it is an old car and I would be taking a chance of seeing leaks because the consistency of the synthetic is thinner than conventional oil. Not switching costs him $$$ in his pocket. I had previously changed my brakes on my own and left smudges of grease and most likely brake fluid on the paint. He asked his tech to wipe down the dirty spots so my paint wouldnt deteriorate. Super easy guy to talk to and someone I will definitely be going back for automotive work.

Awesome experience. I was absolutely positive the used Tahoe I had recently purchased had major issues I had not detected on the test drive but Mark the owner put me at ease and fixed the one or two minor issues I had and didnt stick me with a major repair bill when he very easily could have. He even told me that I was imagining a vibration in the rear end that I had asked him to check out and didnt charge me for it. 100% recommend!!

Been going to these guys for 7 years now and they are always super nice. They give me options as far as what needs to be done immediately and what I can hold off on.

If I can give no stars I would but theres no other way to get this review out there. By far the worst experience Ive had since being in Charlotte. Took my Jeep on 1/10/16 to have track bars installed, along with alignment and pinion angle adjustment. Was told to have my Jeep there in the am to ensure itd have a spot on the rack, so I show upon opening. Drop it off with details of exacting what I wanted. Come 1:30 pm I have no update so I decide to call. It still had not been touched. He said they should be starting it shortly. So I wait and wait and wait and receive a call from the nice lady at the front desk around 5pm stating the track bars needed custom work to install, which is nonsense the holes were already drilled from the previous Clayton track bars, and that it wasnt going to be done until the next day. I wasnt going to accept that as Ive already been without my main and only vehicle since the morning and she made sure Id have it by end of the day. Turns out that was a huge mistake. I told the mechanic I wanted my pinion angle adjusted to be near straight with the front driveshaft but do not go past 4.5* of caster. Also wanted the toe to be set at 1/8 in. When I picked it up the Jeep was all over the road, it got so much worse as time went on so I took it to 4wheelparts today, 2/2/16, and my caster was at 2.4* drivers side and 2.8* passenger and toed in .35!!! I paid $400 to not have done what I asked for and had to beg to have my Jeep done on the day it arrived. Completely unprofessional only nice person is the lady at the front desk. They talk down to you as if they know more which clearly they dont, as the mechanic told me when I picked it up, Caster doesnt matter... Take your money, vehicle and time elsewhere, save yourself the headache.

The Owner is very, very disrespectful, charged me for a service request and didnt fix my issue. Trying to tell me its errors with the parts, and they dont allow you to bring your own parts. You didnt tell me that before you took my money and expect for me to accept that; NO!!! Either fix it or Court.

My go to shop for all my work. I send my teenage daughter there alone and know they will take care of her.

They told me 45 plus tax for an alignment over the phone so I drove 45 minutes to get there then they turn around and say 125 for an alignment. Theyre a bunch of liars.
