I have had it with this place. The doctor here is fantastic but the guy that works in the front is always rude. I figured he may be having a bad day the first two times but after today I’m done. I suggest that you get a job where you don’t have to talk to customers. That wold be better for everyone.
I had a fantastic experience! I messed up on understanding my insurance and came too early. They were extremely accommodating and honest about how I could save money with contacts. And I will absolutely be back in October when I am supposed to come!! Definitely go to Eagle Eyes South!
I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Dr. Jordan Mayhew and staff for going above and beyond to help my son today with his contact lens issue today. My son is out of state serving in the Navy and we were having logistical issues getting him replacement contacts - they came through HUGE for him today (my son has long been a patient here). They really made a quite stressful situation completely okay. You dont find customer service like this very often anymore. Not only is Dr. Mayhew a fantastic doctor - he obviously cares about his patients as human beings (instead of as just a number) and that is ALSO something you dont find often anymore. I will always be grateful for the stellar service we received today and will recommend all of my friends and family to this office. A sincere thank you to the staff and Dr. Mayhew!
Got blamed for shipping problems.. was told maybe you should get a working address and was hung up on. Thanks to Steve the owner for taking accountability for his employees and coming to a resolve.
The doctor was easily the best eye doctor I have been too. He was patient and explained everything he was doing. He took his time especially on the part where you have to decide if 1 or 2 is better during his exam. If you have ever done the eye exam you know sometimes its not easy to tell which is better and he was willing to do them over and over until I decided. Sales process easy and not rushed and although I have not picked up my glasses yet I am well satisfied so far. Nice office with plenty of humor and friendly staff.*Edit 4-18 I went in to pick up my glasses because they called me and told me they were in. I left work early to pick them up and when I got there they had the glasses ready and they were in great shape but I also ordered sunglasses because they told me I couldnt use clip on sunglasses on my new glasses as could void warranty. The sunglasses are still at the lab and not able to be picked up today.So basically my new glasses are worthless until I get to sunglasses in because I dont have sunglasses I can use with them.Still mostly happy though.*edit - its now 4-28-19 and I am STILL waiting for my sunglasses... I called on Friday 4-26 and was told maybe Saturday or next Monday. Review changed to 4 stars.*Edit - 4-30 I called because I didnt hear anything Saturday or Monday. I was told the supplier just got the lenses today and I should get the glasses tomorrow or maybe Thursday. I will update this review when I finally get my sunglasses and I can use my glasses. Review changed to 3 star.*Edit 5-7 I called yesterday and spoke to the person who helped me get my glasses. He said there was a problem with my sunglasses when they got them from the lab and had to send them back. He said they would call me as soon as they get them. Review changed to 2 star.Finally able to pick them up on 5-11. Over a month since I paid for them.Great doctor but unfortunately the rest of the process was bad. I was super happy in the beginning.
What an exceptional staff: honest, helpful, friendly, competent! I have no hesitations with recommending Eagle Eyes Vision South. I’ll be back—even though other Vision Centers are closer to my home.

I took my daughter here because academy kids and dental were doing things to her eyes that made no sense.. I highly recommend this place the doctors are so patient and they do understand shes little, and she didnt like the drops so they used a spray to dilate her eyes. But so much easier than fighting with her. I just want to say great friendly kid friendly..
Can y’all pls update ur info with the VA. I requested ya and they sent me to lens crafters and it was the worst customer service, a terrible experience and they don’t even let u pick frames the day of the appointment.

The staff was very understanding with me being a little late for my very first visit there. The staff also helped me save money on my glasses. And the doctor informed me that I have been using more expensive contacts than what I really needed. HOWEVER when it came to receiving my glasses it took much longer than the 7-10 business days I was told.
Ive been going to Eagle Eyes for over 10 years and I love them! I have taken my daughter there for years as well. Great doctors, great staff, and great office. They are very understanding and always do what they can to accommodate you. I highly recommend them!!
Great customer service! I was very happy with my glasses, but scratched them. I had insurance, but could not get into the office to drop off my glasses. I talked to Robert who said that I could mail them in, which I did and had them mailed back within 2 weeks. Awesome to help with my busy schedule.
I have been seeing Dr. Roark for years! Hes is friendly, knowledgeable, down to earth and really works with you as a patient. He has always explained what he is doing, looking at, etc., he has always answers any questions, works with me in regards to telling me where I will save the most with contacts, glasses and my insurance plan. I was very impressed with the customer service and the office presentation. I would highly recommend Eagle Eyes Vision Center South.
The doctor here is nice. Hard to get into if you work a normal 8 am-5 pm...never been asked to pay $20 for trail contacts and to wait 2 weeks for an Saturday appointment after thr appointment I made was cancelled the same morning I was supposed to go.That all upset me. Then I found out they placed an authorization on my insurance and never cancelled it!!!!! Sure did cancel my appointment and ask me to pay $20 for a trail pair of contacts while I waited for my next appointment though.Oh well. Back to another optometrist.
They opened during their 12-1 to fit my new glasses. Thank you, I was on my way to class and these glasses are great!
I would not recommend this place if you care about your glasses. I ordered glasses in early June. When i originally received them they were scratched on the lenses. Thankfully they took them to have them redone. The 2nd time i received the lenses they were once again scratched. Once again they were willing to reorder the lenses. The 3rd time i picked up the glasses they were scratched again in the same way as the 2nd pair. After that i just said screw it and now Im looking at other places. The customer service is fine however i would not recommend this place to anyone i know.
This place is astonishingly unprofessional, I would avoid this place at all costs. They offer nothing to make up for the misleading information and poor customer service. My glasses were made wrong and they sent me home to try them over the weekend, they also mislabeled my contacts. I wish I had gone someplace else... the fact that this place is in business is a mystery to me. My review would be much different if they did one positive thing to make up for their lack of service.
The staff, especially Toni, are wonderful. They make getting Eyewear pleasant. Treats everyone like family.

I went here for my 3 post op visits after having Lasik done. The center I had Lasik done at paid for my three post op visits. Eagle Eyes tried to bill me for my first visit when it was already paid, the second visit I was not billed for, but only because I reminded them that they had already been paid by the Lasik center I went to and the third visit they then charged my Tricare when they were already paid from the Lasik center I had my surgery done at, so they basically stole money from the government and say they never got paid from the place I had my surgery done at when really they did, I have proof from the LASIK center who paid them but they dont care. They ended up getting paid twice now for my third post op visit and will not admit it or give the money back. I do not recommend them at all. Beware. They will bill you wrong and try to steal your money. They are super unprofessional and things are not sanitized. Worst eye place Ive ever been!!!

Have been a patient here for 6 years and now this place is awful. The prices are outrageous. You never see the same person anymore. We will be no longer using the service of this eye doctors.
Expensive! They also lied about my husbands contacts being shipped. Very frustrating!
