I should have read the reviews before betraying Baxter....I am not satisfied with this company. Thinking I was going to get the same level of respect and service here..it appears all they want is to make the sell. Once you hand them the check they are really not concerned with any problems you have with the vehicle. The service department staff at the Nissan building is very rude. The management does not return your call and forget about complaining it really falls on deaf ears although they pretend to hear you but in retrospect it is an act. They are less than professional when it comes to customer service. Although they did finally fix the problem with the vehicle I purchased it has been a battle. I DO NOT AT ALL RECOMMEND ANY EDWARDS GROUP DEALERSHIPS. I say this because this is NOT THE FIRST TIME I have dealt with them and should have listened to my gut instinct the first 3 times I didnt buy from them. But I decided to go ahead and give them a try during their little World Record Sell Event. NEVER AGAIN. BUYER BEWARE...

Bad experience with finance. Sneaky guy. Been going there for all my cars for the last 10 years. Just be upfront for your products instead of giving to think your doing something in your favor. So I canceled what they threw on my contract he was not happy. I understand they are to make money but be honest. I questioned of any future business. Salesman was fine.

Went there bought a car had to wait for them to get it ready 3 days go by they said it would be ready that day I show up not ready another day or 2 goes by o well we cant give you the car needs a new engine. Great so I was sold a car that should never have been sold had to get a 1 year older model lost an intercooler, turbo, alloy rims, in dash computer screen, backup camera the works, only thing I asked for was the alloy rims which they agreed as it was their mess up. I was told my rims would be put on the car when I got this special coating on the car, surprise surprise no rims still. It has been 2 weeks since then still no replies call backs or anything on the rims. I definitely will not be going back there and should have just went to Baxter or somewhere that would have done what was promised. This was at the Mitsubishi/Hyundai place and will be giving the owner a call as this is not the way to do business, plus I will have to go and buy rims that were promised and be out the money.

Well this was my first time buying a new Silverado 2021 with the extended warranties and the chip repairs.... well had a rock hit my window the first week of owning it . Called an set appointment to have it fixed, they fixed it by grinding the chip bigger and filling it with a black silicone or something like it . Not even flush with the surface of the window I can catch my nail on it . I bring it to their attention and all they could say is that’s how they fix them call your insurance to see if they can do it ! Wth do I pay for ? Not happy with the service! If the owner brought his vehicle into the shop for service you better believe they would make it look like new for him .

I enjoyed the experience working with Edwards Auto everyone was great and I began my process with Tim and Michaela took over for him, she was an awesome person to work with and really listened. I love my 2017 Chevy Cruze. I do have one thing that is a big factor and the reason why the 3.5 stars. Seems like after the sale is over I dont matter anymore. I was shopping in October and when I first began looking I specifically told them over the phone that I DID NOT WANT to have a new payment and taxes and plates all due at Christmas. Not a problem he said over the phone. We can make sure that your first payment is due in January. Well after the sale was completed I got payment book with first payment due when....DECEMBER 14TH. I am NOT happy. I spoke to the finance dept. today and was told basically so sorry that is only for top of the line credit and nothing he could do to defer payment til January. Exactly why I did not want to get a vehicle at that time but I did based on the word of their employee. Kind of a bait and lure tactic as I see it.

We were sent a pre-approval letter from my daughters car company directing us to go to Edwards. We get there on a Saturday about 1. We were met by a nice, albeit new, sales representative. The first car they let us test drive was a Buick SUV. When he was describing the features, he seemed just as amazed as us when he discovered new features. Got in the car for a test drive. Noticed there are 2 different cracks in the windshield. Second car was on, not as fancy but were told it was less expensive and we’d more then likely to be approved. We had repeatedly told him we didn’t have a down payment and were doing a trade in. Get back to the dealership. The guy wrote down all our information, on a piece of paper (this becomes important later). He brought it all back. One hour later, he comes back and apologized because the “computer mixed up” mine and my daughters personal information, switched socials and dates of birth, etc... He wanted us to look it over to get it fixed, even though he had already written it down. I again said we don’t want have a down payment, we were using her car as a trade in. One hour later, he comes back and says they’re still working on. By this time we’d been there 3 hours. One hour later the salesman comes back and says that they have a Sonic that we can get approval for. We get in that car. The remote start doesn’t work. The key fob is dead. We start the car. The check engine light comes on. We get back and they say they’ll get it fixed and we can take it back to Lincoln, where live. 30 minutes later he comes back and says they’ll give us a loaner so it can be fixed. Ok whatever. 1 hour later they come back and say they got the approval but we’ll need $1,200 down and our payments will be $100 then they originally said. They suggested as a way of getting the down payment that we can take out a PAYDAY ADVANCE LOAN. When we left they had to give us our keys to our own car that they had taken off the keychains. That was 5 hours and a Saturday TOTALLY WASTED.

I got back to the lot and told the service manager, we looked at the car and it literally had no brake pads not bad ones just none on the vehicle. I test drove another car making sure it had pads and when I got back the sales person checked on the price. He came back to me and said the car I test drove wasn’t even theirs and not for sale. Horrible place to shop for a car wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Jenny was great! She was friendly, forthright and did what she could to make us feel comfortable. The overall Edmunds Group, maybe not so much. Firstly I showed up on Monday at 845. The parking lots still had snow removal going on. Question in my head was why wasnt this done the day before or at least before Service opened. Repair estimate was given end of first day with assurance of two day part lead time. I called on the third day am to learn the part had not arrived as of yet. That day the part came in and the car was ready by 430pm. We drove 40 minutes to pick up the car and learned the car washes around the area were not working so our car was delivered previously cleaned but with some conspicous streaks of dirt. We were happy to take the car as is because we had an upcoming meeting that required us to leave. To recap, Edwards Auto did what they said they would do, but you feel they need to work better as a team when you leave.

Warning. Check your sales agreement line by line. These people added 5000.00 for an extended warranty that I had specifically said I did not want. 1000.00 for wheel warranty and another 1000.00 on halo shield. It took me 2 months and threats of a lawsuit to get this taken off a loan agreement. The finance person added these things and never once went over line by line the contract. I called and called and nobody received my call. I drove 95 miles back to this dealership. They paid the 5000.00 and told me the other check for 2000.00 was being cut as we spoke and would be sent to the bank. Said it would be a week until it showed on the loan. Well over 3 weeks went by. I checked that loan online every day. I finally had to call again and threaten to drive that 95 miles again to clear this up. The finance manager become irate and hung up on me when I told him I had contacted a lawyer. Thats when they cut the 5000.00 check. The next 2000.00 was as difficult to get them to comply. Beware of what they are tacking on to your loan. They make money off all these extras. I had to pay my lawyer a 250.00 consultation fee but I would have proceeded with a lawsuit had they not ca.e through. It wasnt ready and took 2 months to get their attention. I was 16 hrs away from my home and this was a vehicle bought for my daughter that lives in that area. I had to stay in sioux city for those 2 months to get this mess straightened out before I could head home. The aggravation was time consuming with very little help from this dealership.

Truck was purchased Aug 1 registered Sept 11 it is now Nov 28 no check. Sept 10 they called and told me they had the title at the dealership. I took a vacation day to go get the title from the dealership, get the truck inspected and, registered. Guess what they could not find the title when I arrived. It was at another location. They were also going to pick up the title of the old truck that didnt happen either. Edwards in general just doesnt seem to care about the quality of service they provide. Once they had the money from me they could care less about the after sale. It doesnt pay the cross the bridge.

After filling it all out - social security number, references, and all - I was then told I wouldnt be allowed to test drive and was walked out the door. Their service department has quite the business model. I scheduled a time to bring in my vehicle then when I brought it in they told me it will be about $200 just to diagnose the problem but the $200 can go towards the cost of the repairs. Most places will diagnose it for free, go to any auto parts store. I had already had a friend diagnose it for me and I told them what to fix. Well, they try to tell me I need $1500 in work done. I know thats not true as I get my vehicle serviced regularly and this is the first time I went to Edwards. I told them to fix what I knew needed to be fixed. The cost was about $350 from Edwards. After I got the cost from them I got a quote from another mechanic for $180 for parts and labor everything included for the exact same fix. Well, I was already indebted to Edwards for $200 JUST TO LOOK AT IT so I might as well just pay the extra $150 at this point because I had already signed the promise to pay $200 they have you sign when you drop off your vehicle. In addition, when I go to pick up my car I have to pay to get my keys back (which took 15 minutes just to locate my keys) and before you can pay they make you sign something that says:THE SELLING DEALER MAKES NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER AS TO THE MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRODUCTS LISTED HEREON OR AS TO THEIR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY WARRANTY WHICH MAY EXIST IS AN AGREEMENT SOLELY BETWEEN THE MANUFACTURER AND THE PURCHASER.This tells me that Edwards does not stand behind their products and work performed. If Im going to pay a premium of double the cost, why would I, or anyone, be ok with this? Do yourself a favor and do not go here. I asked around the community and everyone I talked to told me it was a mistake to drop my vehicle off there. I understand now that they were right. I wont be returning and I dont know why anyone would.

I have dealt with the the Edwards group for a good 7/8 years. Ive had good service with the Nissan/Kia side as well as the Dodge side but the Hyundai group just destroyed everything.I went in because I received a card saying they were interested in the Hyundai Santa Fe that I purchased in October 2019. The salesman took all the information on income and then said he needed to have the engine checked out and run some numbers. No problem. When Andy (Hyundai salesman) came back and informed me that they could trade in car due to the donut on it and engine issues. In the first place I got a flat tire on interstate just an hour beforehand which I told him about. He informed me if I was going to trade it in not to go buy a new tire or worry about it. But the real kicker was him telling me there was a slight knock in the engine and a blow-by problem which I had to call after leaving to find out what he was talking aboutThen proceeded to tell me unless I can come up with $4000-$5000 down minimum there was no way to help me.The final straw was when I went to my mechanic. There was no knock in engine and no problem with the blow-by valve or sensor. My check engine light has never come on. The knock is from the exhaust that rattles no matter how tight or loose the hangers are. It has been that way from the time I bought it and I took it in twice for that. I was told the hitch was the wrong one. Again I went to a hitch dealer and was told it was the correct hitch.I may be an older woman but dont treat me like I dont know anything and take advantage of me. I left Edwards Hyundai fighting back tears. After just having shoulder surgery and going on a fixed income I didnt need to be frightened and lied to believe I need my engine taken care of or I would need a new car. They need to be thankful that I have respect for myself and those around me because I really wanted to go back and do a full blown Karen on Andy.Edwards Auto Group karma does happen.

Needing a new car couldn’t have come at a worse time for me, so the 3 weeks I spent shopping was really stressful. I went to dealership after dealership and it’s pretty much the same experience every time - they say whatever they can to get you out the door in a new car by the end of the day. Edwards was the one place that I felt understood my circumstances, gave me plenty of time to consider everything, and didn’t rush the process just to make a sale. The fastest way to push me away from a large purchase is pressure. Obviously every dealer’s main goal is profit, but I really appreciated how Edwards made it seem like they had my well-being in mind too. I love my 2013 Kia Optima; it’s a huge upgrade from what I was driving before and after a little over a week with it I’m so happy I decided to go for it. Brandon and Steve were both super helpful, informative, and straightforward. They also gave me a lot more than my car’s trade-in value, which helped a lot. Steve emphasized that he gets his business/ratings from happy customers, not shady sales practices. Although anyone can say that, it seems to ring true for Edwards. If you’re in the market for a new car, definitely check them out.

First, my car buying experience was great. Rich Roberts at the Chevy dealership is a great guy first, then a salesman. I bought a used car that needed a spot on the bumper painted and they included that in my deal. The finance department was pleasant and up front. Then, a check engine light came on, and I felt a sickening feeling because I thought of the term AS IS. I called Rich because I had not heard about the bumper repair, and I mentioned the light. He said let me talk to my manager and we will get back with you. The next day, the service department called me to set up a time to bring the car in. I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me a loaner car and told me that the work was we owe. In other words, I did not have to pay for the check engine problem, whatever it may be. Thankfully, it was an O2 sensor, that they replaced. The paint job on the bumper is superb, and my car was washed and clean when I picked it up. Thank you Edwards, and thank you Rich!

Tried getting in contact with them and was told I had clearly implied I wanted the full work done according to the girl Id been working with and some other cashier I hadnt interacted with before, passed me off to the service manager, and lucky me that manager has just been far too busy to give me a call or anything. Seeing the deal with what I came in there for wasnt going to happen I asked for a newer vehicle on their lot as it was a good alternative, again they insisted on this one vehicle. I asked to see it, it wasnt on the lot, it wasnt able to be seen, it wasnt able to be test driven and it wasnt ready to go. So you want me to trade in for a vehicle, which I can not even see? No thank you. I left and purchased another car from another dealership the following day.As for the brand, I would absolutely recommend Mitsubishi. All of their cars Ive owned have lasted over 150k miles without problem. I was in one of the small Mitsubishi Mirages, same gas mileage as a Prius and got into a T bone with a 4 runner, I walked out of it. Car was totaled but I was fine.

Come to find out the cars price is 28k and the dealer will not offer the price the rep told us. That was their mistake and they should have paid for it like any other honest company would. As a salesman myself I’m absolutely baffled by how this place gets away being so unprofessional. The sales rep was cursing during the test drive and says “man I was gonna get tacos before you guys came up” sorry for wanting to give you business? The sales folks here are nice & work with you to get the best deal possible. The recommendations of vehicles are spot on h they dont try to sell you the most expensive one they have. They really do work hard to accommodate you. I would recommend coming here to buy a vehicle any time. Thank you for the great experience.

Do not use this place, you will receive unlimited unsolicited phone calls about your vehicle warranty, since buying a car from this place my phone rings off the hook telling me my car warranty is going to expire. Stay away from here unless your using a throw away phone number

Very happy and satisfied with my vehicle and my salesman, Jermaine. He was very transparent and honest and made everything comfortable. Also VERY knowledgable on all the vehicles I looked at and their features. After purchasing, he sat in my vehicle with me and went over absolutely everything to make sure I understood and was happy. Everyone else I dealt with in finance, etc. during this process was very nice and made sure I didnt leave with unanswered questions. I would definitely recommend Jermaine if youre in the market for a vehicle.

We went to Edwards to compare vehicles we had been looking at from other car places and online. Our sales rep Andrew West took time to listen to what we were looking for and find us exactly what we wanted. Haveng done research on our 2017 Tucson, we received a fair price for our new car. I would highly recommend Edwards Auto Group, find Andrew if you go - he would take excellent care of you.

I don’t remember ever writing a negative review. My philosophy is try to be uplifting and encouraging but two and a half weeks ago, I purchased a used vehicle from Edwards. I went over it with the salesman and called a family member for more questions to ask and things to look for. The salesman reassured me it was the better selection. He steered me away from cars he said “had issues.” When I drove it, I asked about everything from 4x4 to a/c. I mentioned to him the brakes felt a little soft but he said that was normal for cars that have sat for a little while but it was fine. A mechanic came out while I had the hood up, engine running, and asking questions. He began to tell me how amazing the salesman was and this was a great car. This week while driving I suddenly could not stop. The brakes didn’t work. I didn’t hit anything as I was still on a side street just before getting on Dodge. Thankfully, no one was hurt. As I mentioned, I don’t like writing negative reviews but this could have ended very differently. I could have had my children with me and driving the interstate. I did try to call the GM multiple times but after explaining what happened was told he was out, in a meeting, or just stepped out.

On May 16th 2020, I purchased a used vehicle, 2015 Mitsubishi Ralliart. I drove from Denver, Colorado to purchase this vehicle. After signing everything, 40 miles out on my way home, the transmission overheated. The vehicle had to be towed to another Edwards Mitsu lot to be diagnosed, but this was saturday evening and nobody would be in until monday. There was an offer to put me into a hotel for the remainder of the weekend, but I had to decline as, like most people, I had a job I had to return to. They stated to rent a vehicle to get home and they would reimburse me. I paid $560 for a uhaul truck to take one way back to Denver. Also had to rent another vehicle for an additional TWO WEEKS before the vehicle I had purchased was delivered, costing another $800. Now granted, I do appreciate that I was not charged for delivery. I had emailed my receipts for both rentals to my POC, Daniel Bowlds on July 3. Here we are over a month later, I have not received any word back or any reimbursements. Also, I was informed by Daniel and another member of the staff that a new engine and transmission had been installed in the vehicle. Multiple requests to provide maintenance records and proof of this repair have fallen to deaf ears. Under Iowa Code section 321.69, requires the seller of a used car that is less than eight years old to disclose in writing the extent of any damage to the vehicle incurred while in their ownership for which the repair costs were more than half of the pre-damage retail value. A new engine runs about 10k, transmission is 15k. parts and labor for install, about 25k on the high end. So either this information about the replacement is false and nothing was done or it was done and nobody wants to disclose, either way this is fraudulent practices. Furthermore, during the sale, Colorado tax wasnt accounted for so now my license plates are costing me $1300!!

My husband and I just went and looked at a 2013 F-150 King Ranch truck today. The first salesman said the price was $20K and then Kelly came out with the keys and then the price was 26K. After looking over the truck the front bumper had numerous rust spots as big as saucers. Kelly states well this is the Midwest with salt and snow. We asked if that could be fixed she comes out with a business card that states the truck could be purchased today only for $27K and the bumper would be repaired. While she was doing that, I pulled up their website showing an e-price of 22,500. The sales manager was with Kellywhen she came back and showed him the ad. First he said that was not their dealership and we showed it was theirs. He proceeded to state that price was wrong. Bait and switch comes to mind. Run away from this dealership!!!

Ok, here is my experience. We ended up buying 2 cars from them (a new and a used vehicle). Our salesman Dave S was awesome. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. However...dealing with David, the Finance Manager was another story. When it came to doing the paper work on our first vehicle, he was the only person working that afternoon, so there was a 45 - 1 hour wait back in the finance department waiting room, but they had muffins, water, and TV back there so we were fine. Then once it was our turn, we go back to his office and hes got all the paperwork for us to sign and he starts telling us how this particular car that were buying, breaks down all the time and since everything is ran by computer now, if the computer goes out you are basically screwed, so we need to buy the service plan to extend the warranty. So that shouldve been my first red flag when Im about to buy a $31,000 vehicle and the finance guy is basically telling me hes heard horror stories about this vehicle and how people who didnt buy the service plan were screwed. So things went back and forth for about 20 minutes, its getting late and David said, How about I throw in 3 years of oil changes with the purchase of the service plan, best deal Ive given all day. Finally we said, Ok, as by that time, they were closing for the day and we were very tired. So we sign the contracts and drive the car home. Well we looked over the contract and found out that David put the 3 years of oil changes cost IN OUR LOAN. So not only are we paying for the 3 years of oil changes he THREW IN, we are ALSO paying 6 years of INTEREST ON those FREE oil changes On the purchase of our 2nd vehicle we demanded to deal with a different finance guy and they sent us to Ron. He was a lot better. With the new vehicle we purchased a hitch to be installed on the vehicle, but after our purchase of 2nd vehicle (which had a hitch), we decided to cancel the installation of the hitch on the 1st vehicle. They had no problem with that and said they would send us a refund check for the price of the hitch. A little more that a month later and we still dont have that refund check. Weve left numerous messages with the finance department and the owner (neither of whom are ever in the office, apparently) This frustration will weight heavily on the decision to ever buy another vehicle from this place. My advice is to beware of their finance department and make them go over EVERY line item of what you are financing though your loan.

Not recommended for buying certified used Nissans from here. So I would think you shouldnt buy normal used Nissans from here. Bought a certified used nissan with no reported accidents. When tearing the car down to diagnose a slightly misaligned bumper, found the foam insert was missing. Also found many of the supporting brackets were bent. Dealership insisted that none of this was seen during their inspection process.
