Park Place Volvo Service Center is top notch. The entire staff are so professional and courteous. I have had so many different cars and have worked with many dealerships. I was amazed by how smooth an quick they were. I called and made my appointment, I dropped my car off at 8am with the car vibrating with braking. I got a call at 3 pm that is was the brake rotors. My first thought was… how much is this going to cost and second (post COVID) how long will it take to get the parts and get it fixed. My service representative said “I’m just calling to let you know your car is ready for you to pick it up.”WOW! It’s fixed in just a few hours all under Volvo warranty! Super impressed with the work they did and the NASCAR pit stop experience!! Great place and great people!!

Great customer service. Had to bring my wifes car in under warranty repair. I was offered a loaner car but decided to wait. Turned out the problem was bigger than expected, and parts needed to be ordered. They then offered a loaner car right away when the problem arised. After the car was repaired, a week later, they delivered the car to my wifes work place. Over 20 miles away. The loaner car was not some pos either. Its the same car my wife drive, but newer. So she felt comfortable driving it. The business transaction is much better than a typical dealership as well. I would definitely come back.

After a bad experience, my family and I were considering finding another service centre, but when we decided to give Park Place another chance, we were absolutely amazed by their service and care. Our service advisor, Aldo Saldivar, had all concerns on my 2019 S60 fixed. Because the issues had happened before, they were free of charge, and we only paid for the (amazing) detail done by Park Place. 5 stars for your amazing hospitality and quick repair. Thank you Park Place and thank you Aldo!Edit: I just read through the reviews and it looks like Aldo has a ton of good ones. No, he isn’t asking us to leave a good review. He just is super good at his job!😆

Not only is he prompt with his responses and getting my car serviced in a timely manner, he exceeds my expectations with his customer service. I will probably always drive a Volvo due to the level of service I’ve received.

Recommended vs Required maintenance. During the closing process for our Volvo, I was sold the prepaid maintenance package. As part of the sales pitch, I was shown a laminated sheet detailing the maintenance cost for each 10k mileage increment. Upon dropping my car off at the service center I found out that I had actually paid for the “required” maintenance which entails significantly less work than the “recommended” plan that was shown to me during closing. Upon learning this I went back to the sales center asked the sales person and sales manager about this. They indicated that I was correct and as a result they no longer show the laminated “recommended” sales sheet during closing to sell maintenance as it could be considered deceptive.During the most recent service visit when I dropped the car off, I was told it would take a couple of hours. I missed one call from the service tech and when I called back, I was unable to get in contact with them for 2 days. I left voicemails with the service manager and rep and never received a call back after many attempts to get in contact with them. As a result, I had to just show up to retrieve my car. A porter performed the checkout and was unable to tell me what service had been performed. The additional service I requested was not performed, the car was not washed, and the service alert was not cleared from the vehicle.The repair work that is done there is usually quality work.

Would like to applaud Mark, Terrence and Sina for their excellent customer service and follow through on a tricky situation that I had with an urgent repair and an incorrect CPO warranty denial from Volvo corporate. When my check engine light came on they worked after-hours to arrange to squeeze me into an early morning appointment and prioritize my service to make sure that my vehicle was diagnosed and repaired in time for me to safely move my family across the country that weekend. And when Volvo incorrectly denied CPO coverage of my repair, they escalated and went to bat for me to get my work covered and secured a full refund for the work. All despite the fact that I was moving out of state. Would highly recommend.

Please BEWARE. I had the most aweful experience in my life. I thought I was going to get quality service since it was the dealership. I needed my timing belt replaced and was recommended to Aldo. Needless to say my car sat for a whole month and never was repaired. During the process 2 weeks from the time I dropped off my car I got a call saying my car was damaged by a technician, come to find out they dented someone elses car. When I went down to check on my car they had lost the keys. I was so in shock of the service. I couldnt believe this nightmare. Luckily they did replaced the keys. I was able to tow my car somewhere else. The other mechanic were able to fix my car at a fraction of the cost. This left me with such a bad impression of Volvo. When I think of Volvo I use to think world class. This experience definitely opened my eyes.☹️

Unfortunately, been coming here for my yearly services and have mentioned each year that my back up camera is not angled correctly and is pointed down, and for 3 years, they hAve said “it’s to spec”…finally I asked them to pull another XC90 and look at that view and that’s when they finally realized it’s way off…told me they replaced it…well, they didn’t..same view….also had a engine coolant light that was flashing to see dealer immediately ..when I called to check on the car, I asked if they replaced that and the response was “you never told us about that”…I said “it’s part of the service requirement listed, why exactly would I tell you?”…emailed them about the work they never did and no response…save your time and go to crest up in Frisco….and I used to love park place (had a Lexus in Plano that did an amazing job every time I was there)…..so disappointed

When you go to Park Place Volvo service, ask for Nelson or Terrance, they will make sure your service and experience is on its A game.But Nelson is the guy who listens to you and solves problems. He has actually said to me that I matter. Nelson goes out of his way to make things work, but more than that, he makes me feel like my experience does matter when I am there.Their other secret weapon are the guys out front who greet you and take care of your car when you arrive and leave. They all seem genuinely happy to see you. George, who is the maître dof the cars, is the best example of someone who knows that service and a smile go a long way.

I had my window smashed when my XC90 was broken into. I scheduled service and they set up a loaner for me at my convenience. They made the repairs to make my car look like new again. I had them do a full detail on my car to get all the glass out of all the crevices. My car looks brand new. Aldo and the team did such a phenomenal job of taking care of everything. Way too expensive! How would it be $1700 to replace front struts on an 05 S60?! Not to mention that I was there 5 weeks ago for a full point inspection and they could not find the problem until now. The upside was the complimentary loaner car. Also, the service adviser saw that it was wise not to charge me a diagnostic fee since I paid to have the car checked out there recently. I was able to pick my car up, no charge. So that was good. It is costing me all of $300 to by the parts myself and have a highly recommended mobile mechanic do the repairs.

Tony Chavez is the guy you need to talk to. My entire experience here was nothing less than 5 stars. From the phone call I had with Tony prior to my visit, to the consistent updates he gave me as my c30 was being serviced, he always kept it professional and accomodaditing. Jason the valet was very personable and made me feel welcome at the door while Mr. Chavez was very thorough with the paper work as one of their technicians by the name of Tony gave exceptional service on my vehicle and even helped direct my attention towards other issues my car had. Had my car service here for 4 years, always happy with it until my last service.My car end up with a ding and scratches and I was shown a document that it was already there which was not shown to me during my drop off.Weird thing about it is the document was produced that it was showed to me and I signed it which I did not. Also I was cleaning my car before service and I would have seen the ding.

Be very careful when you use them bc they will lose your and tell you thatnit might show up in a few months. Also they told my sister that this happens all the time. She had them come get the car since it malfunctioned bc of a recall issue.they sent a tow to pick it up but the tow driver kept saying he was in traffic. It took them 24 hours to pick up her vehicle. They also informed her that they do not have a rental that she can have either. Now she is out a vehicle while she is pregnant.

Took the XC60 in for several repairs, they got fixed but there were other issues with my car I didnt know, that seem to be over looked by there service techs, and now Im having to spend more money & time to rerepair XC60, how can u overlook a major oil leak doing a 140k tune up, alternator & radiator hose which hit me for 3500, plus I was without my car 7 days which yes I have a loaner, but I gotta be extra careful in their car, when Im comfortable in my paid off vehical, now Im wondering how much this oil leaks gonna cost & how much time they gonna take

I purchased my Volvo in a different city and was a bit nervous about getting less than excellent service from a dealership from whom I did not purchase my car. Those fears were completely unfounded!!From my first phone call to my most recent need at Park Place Volvo Service Department Aldo has taken excellent care of me and my car. I. addition to his alway excellent service, he was vigilant in pursuing a claim under my warranty that was initially denied, it was ultimately covered.If you are not lucky enough to have Aldo as your service advisor do not despair!On my most recent visit Aldo was gone for the day and I was helped by Nick.I called him in a bit of a panic because I was running late after work and they were closing in a few minutes; he told me not to worry and come in for help. A service center that is well aware of the fact that its the only option available. I arrived at 8:30 for a 10,000 mile scheduled maintenance on a new xc90. The work consists of an oil change, fluid level check, and a $70 tire rotation. It cant get more straightforward. The keys were returned at 11:50, close to 3.5 hours later, without a complementary car wash.Im astonished, so much that Im typing my first google review, in the little time remaining of my workday. The level of service I experienced this morning is the first thing that makes me regret buying a Volvo. Its something people should consider when shopping for cars in Dallas.

I am so impressed with park place volvo service department! The morning we left our car we had to get to the airport at 7am. They don’t even open until 8am so we were just going to drop the car and take an Uber to the airport, but the gentleman who happened to be there offered to drive us to the airport! That was so kind of him. We also received several updates on the repair process- excellent communication! When we returned they picked us up and had all of the paperwork completed. We just jumped into the car and if we went. They also made all of the repairs and took care of the recall. So glad I brought my car back to Park Place Volvo Service!

Customer service is usually a key practice in a business, but is definitely not the case here. It took almost 2 months total to fix my car correctly. I physically heard the service writers calling a customer provocative words and when I encountered the service manager I was told she was being a rude customer and you get what you get when your being disrespectful 😡. Good service but my car was left unlocked all weekend. I left it on a Friday and the car alerts me every time I pick up the phone that its unlocked. So when Friday evening rolls around I decided to lock it. Then Saturday it was unlocked again in the evening. I locked it again and it stayed that way till Monday. I cant be the only one that this annoys. The service center is a little small for the volume of cars they are servicing.

Ive taken my car to Park Place Volvo Service Center several times. It is a nice, clean, and conveniently located for me. It is always expensive, but I assume things are handled correctly, so I keep going back. This past time I needed my car by a certain time and was very clear to my adviser about this. He said he would follow up and gave me a time it should be done. I followed up via text and call, but didnt hear back. By then, the shop was closed. The next morning the woman answering the phone let me know it was ready. I expressed my frustration to the adviser and he did not apologize. After spending over a grand on a small fix, I later found out that my passenger side door will not open on the side of the repair. This was not a previous issue. I called to let them know, and again, no one offered an apology. Their level of customer service is low. If you know of somewhere else you trust to repair your car, go there.

Don’t buy a Volvo. But if you do...don’t do service here. We have spent nearly $10,000 on repairs in a 7 year old $40,000 car...and now they are saying it needs another $2400 in repairs. This is our third Volvo and last.Just go somewhere else. Get a second opinion. At this point I have no idea if they are even telling me the truth anymore. Either our car was a lemon and they don’t car or they are lying and taking advantage of us. MEither way...we are done with this dealership and their service department.Btw. This car is the only car that we purchased the one year they offered service for life. So they have to service it for free as long as we own it...which is why I believe it keeps having random expensive problems.

If you are new to Park Place Volvo service center, cross your fingers that you get assigned Aldo as your service advisor. I have been coming here for almost three years and have nothing other than positive experiences. While Im not knocking Lexus of Dallas in service, Volvo has them beat hands down. Aldo always helps me schedule my service appointments so that a loaner is available, and he communicates with me via text instead of phone calls (which I cant usually pick up during the work day). It is Aldos attention to detail that makes every service visit feel personalized. He is also exceptionally honest about things that must be done now, and things that can wait until my next visit. When its time for a new vehicle, Volvo gets my business again. Nothing compares to an honest service advisor and an overall great quality service team. John Roberts is the most professional and greatest listener. Took care of my situation as fast at lighting. Am not joking. I only take my 2011 Volvo to Park Place service and have always been satisfied. I once had a sunroof ordered just for it to arrive and be recalled. I was very pleased at the service and how quickly they took care of this. If they make a mistake, they really know how to fix it. Ive been dealing with the service department here for 12 years. Ive taken my last 3 cars here and havent had a problem that wasnt fixed or taken care of by them. They got the job done and fixed my issue. I will not return though as I’ve had better experience elsewhere.The reasons I gave 3 stars:- I was never given any upfront cost on paper, or anything to sign stating what we are doing and have agreed to doing. I calling into the call center just to make sure I understood what I was paying for.- I had to continually refer my advisor to online pricing on the website as he was continually up selling me.- I had to continually request status updates.

Staff is nice! My car was returned with low tire pressure and a busted speaker. Haven’t had problems in the past, but replacing a speaker and airing up a tire after spending $400+ for an oil change is robbery. Too many good options in Dallas to return to this place.

I share the same experience as many of these people reviewing Park Place. Ive owned my Volvo for a little over a year, and have had to bring it in 7 times for service. Started with Crest, that was a total disaster, but Park Place isnt really any better. Nice people, but the service is lacking, issues seem to constantly come up, theyve kept my vehicle for a week or more on two separate occasions, communication is sub-par, just not what you expect. Im exhausted enough with this experience that Ive decided to sell this thing and move on to another brand/dealer. Wish i would have read reviews before making the purchase.

Ive come twice for state vehicle inspection over the last two years, and have had a wonderful experience. Show up for your appointment, grab a coffee and watch TV, pay, and keep it moving. No problems or delays. Really appreciate the professionalism and comfortable setting.

I dont look anything like the Queen of England but youd think I did based on how exceptionally wonderful they treat each client! Showed up in sweats and a hat to pick up a replacement part, and they bent over backwards to find it and install it. Thrilled with the level of service.

I think this location is just simply overwhelmed by Volvos recent success. I have two persistent problems they can never solve. Service managers are nice, techs are nice, waiting room is ok but if they cant correct faults under warranty on a new car none of that matters. Also the dearth of loaner vehicles mean you must schedule at least a week in advance to reserve a loaner. My next service will be with Crest in the hopes that they actually get these problems fixed on the third try .

We had our XC90 there four different times to be fixed for the same issue. I ended up going to Firestone to have it repaired out of pocket. We have been back a handful of times for warranty issues which they just cannot fix. So well go out of pocket somewhere else to fixed again and again. These guys are worthless. Do not waste your time here. We have the vehicle at Fort Worth now. Hopefully they can actually fix our car.

Called Park Place Volvo Service to see about them checking an issue out. My car was having issues with the transmission downshifting improperly causing an uncomfortable ride. The service person, I use the term service lightly, told me that I could bring the car in but I would need to wait a week if I needed a loaner. So, I bring the car in a week later and discussed the issues the service person. Im no mechanic but the shifting was vey noticeable. I noticed it and my wife noticed it when she drove. The interesting thing is my wife or I had discussed the issue with eachother until I told her I was taking the car in for service so there was an issue. So, they have the car for 2.5 days and they leave a message saying the car is ready. I get to the facility and the service person has gone home for the day so there is nobody to speak with regarding the vehicle. They bring the car around with the paperwork. The paperwork said that everything is normal. Not sure why it took two and a half days if everything was working normal. I get in the car, drive off and guess what? It happened no less than 2 blocks from the service center. I decided to do some online research and it turns out that this happens a lot on these vehicles. It has something to do with either the software updates or the adaptive learning of the vehicle. I called the service person several times and left messages, they never returned the calls. I got tired of calling so I called another Volvo service center in Plano and explained the issue. The service advisor said yes this is a common issue and there is a problem. He asked me to bring it in so they can reset the adaptive learning and check the software version. Its been several days and still no response from the service guy at Park Place. So, that being said, if you are looking for your car issues to NOT get resolved or POOR customer service from the advisor, take it to Park Place Volvo service center. I guess these guys think that there arent many Volvo service dealers in the area so they dont need to provide adequate service.
