This store was going out of business so it was very messy. It also doesn’t have a lot of signs everywhere for you to tell the prices which would definitely be a little more helpful. But the staff was amazing and really helpful. Everything is literally “Dirt Cheap” would definitely recommend this place as you can find a lot of good things for cheap, but you may need a bit of time to look through all of the stuff they sell.

Its awesome. Been there 3 times back to back😀. The store is going through some great reorganization so shopping would be easy and clean/ neat. They have everything from kitchen to bedroom to toys to kids supply to Men to houseware/ home stuff to cosmetics to sometimes even kayak. The list is long. New items new tag never used or worn highly u will find there. They absolutely won me. Today on my visit all kids bag pack new never used toons of them is $5

The concerns we have is mostly with pricing, even a discount is offered some items are overpriced intentionally in order to get higher margins, The items are open and no returs are accepted but you may end up paying full price.Example. A camera regular priced at 499 at other stores is priced at DC at 799 with a 30% discount offered. The price is almost similar with an unopened camera with warranty and returns of at minimum 30 days. Another example is that this used T6 Nikon camera is priced around 800 dollars no box no cables no battery when at Amazon is 499 brend new. Even a discount offered is no way you can know that camera will work . Aplaying a discount on some items can be cheap, when a higher discount is offered.As of last visit the experience change dramaticly from acceprable to worst.. employees dictate pricing refused to take discount off because they do not find it in the system .. so is not for sale. That do not make sense. Employees take stuff from the shelf as they want to keep for themself and buy later.. after things were set in place and they open the area one emoloyee got the stuff placing back in their box saying thats for her. Asking questions at check out and they refuse to even listen or respond .They act like they own the place ..

Im never disappointed when I shop at dirt cheap. During the pandemic when I got a new job at a rehabilitation facility, I was able to go into dirt cheap and buy pants for work at $1 and $2 for each pair. Good quality too. So appreciative to Dirt Cheap in Allen.

In reality, this place deserves 5-stars. However, I only gave it 4 because shopping is not my thing. Especially if I have to inspect the item or be willing to make concessions that the item is not perfect. Only way I could give this place 5-stars is if they more rigorously sorted less than perfect items.

A lot cleaner and more organized than the Arlington location. Still not too fond of the fact that you have to test items before purchase since all sales are final. Two heaters I purchased and tested were good and stopped working a week later. I mean it’s not like they were super cheap.

Its a fun place to browse, but dont expect it to be very neat and organized. I think the staff does a great job stocking but customers tend to rummage through so much that it never quite looks good there. Fairly friendly staff.

It was my first time in a Dirt Cheap. Omg, I didnt know what to expect, but it was scary! Stuff everywhere. Hard to use a shopping cart. Stuff in boxes, not labeled (how do I know if its a good deal or not if I have to open the box and no price tag????) I did buy a couple things - pillow inserts and a box fan (that I ended up having to fix before it worked). Then I waited in a 30 min (yes, I timed it) line to check out. Its okay. I will not be back, but Im sure it serves a purpose...

Very rude employment. “manager “ is very rude and has a big mouth, accused us of putting stuff together to get them at a cheaper price . Simply Not worth it . store is dirty and just a headache of people .

The staff is awesome-very friendly and polite. However, that is not enough for me to return. I went there twice within a two day window which allowed me to confirm the level of vast inconsistencies in their prices for the same item. The store is dirtier and junkier than similar-like stores.They also may want to hire a security guard as a gentleman ran out of the store stealing merchandise.Again, the staff is great.

DO NOT Waste your time or money. I bought a microwave and it doesn’t work but no refunds. They should not be allowed to sell electronics that don’t work. Upfront or not it should not legal to do. Pawn shops don’t even sell electronics that don’t work. And the rudest people work there no customer service at all. They just act like people have money to throw away. I’ll be boycotting all of there stores.

So sad this location will be closing March 20th. I love the deals. I buy name brand clothes and products at extreme bargains.

Dirt Cheap appears to sell returns and damaged goods from Target, Wal-Mart and other retailers. They bring in huge amounts of merchandise frequently and what they have on any given day can change radically. Clothes are really cheap, but they are poorly organized. Seasonal items such as Halloween and Christmas are outstanding bargains. Worth a visit!

Was not the cleanest. Just a bit more junkier than others I have been in. I was able to get a couple of coats pretty cheap. Kudos to sales people..for the most part very nice.

I gave it 5 stars for the sheer variety of stuff at incredible prices. Many people would probably complain that its unorganized or dirty. Well I loved it & got a tower fan for 1/2 of the price I would pay anywhere else & it works great.Also I liked that they have an area where you can plug stuff in & make sure it works.

Manager extremely rude & disrespectful! They have a policy that prevents them from changing prices, but only when it suits them. They will not discount an item for you, but if they dont agree with the price on the item, theyll refuse to sell it at that price & try to force you to pay more for broken garbage. I found a Kobalt table saw stand missing several pieces, but the price on the sticker was $87.98 or something like that & 50% off. Walked around the store for an hour with my wife & daughters, lugging that thing around. Go to check out & manager says oh no, Ive got to look that up then tells me its going to be $120. I said you wont sell it at that price with all the damage & missing parts. Then she tells me well just so long as you arent buying it She is scum & out of all the dirt cheap stores Ive been to, she made my experience here, the worst.

The only store that will charge you incorrectly, speak down to you when you notify them of the incorrect charge, have the manager snatch a receipt out of your hand (without asking!) AND toss money at you. Both cashier and manager huffing, puffing, bad attitude, awful tone of voice, “are you kidding me” over a mistake MADE BY THEM. Literally insane. Never experienced behavior like this by anyone in retail. Not sure how you can be at the ages of these two women and not know that this kind of behavior is unacceptable.Dirt cheap was never worth shopping at to begin with, but this reaches a new level of horrendous.

This was my favorite location, I am really sad it has closed. I would travel past 3 other locations just to come here. 😞

If you like to dig, this is YOUR place. Great deals but you have to check your items out that they are not damaged. They do offer a testing table for anything electrical.

Bad advertising! They have signs all over saying that all bras are $1 and when you go pay they will say that not all bras are $1 but more money.

Found this place while driving around. Wsvn fast a great place to buoy cheap good stuff. They have a big collection of overstocked furniture and salvage ones also with great pricing. Toys are on sale a lot and the clothing also. The home goods section is not bad also even that afternoon and such its hard to find stuff cause its a bot of a mess. But if you go in the A.M you will find what you need and more. Make sure to sign for their online alerts.

This was our first visit to Dirt Cheap and it was overwhelming. They have daily specials and its announced at the store intercom. For example, today they had announced that jeans and pants were $3, towels were $2 etc. While there are great deals, you have to look and use the code on the price tag to see what is the Dirt Cheap price. Be careful when shopping for certain things, some things were good deals and some were over retail. You really have to look.

How have I never heard about this place. If you go you better have atleast 2 hours to look and dig around. Granted alot of the stuff is name brand and been opened or missing a part. They have everything you can think of just about. One of the bad things is all the kids running around screaming. Just be patient .

I would give it 5 stars, but things so often dont have a price tag so its really hard to know what youre spending until you get to the registrar. It isnt all that organized. But other than that this place is great! Tons of savings and they gave almost everything you can think of! Great deals.

I was in the area picking my mom up from the doctors office I apologize again I really cant even tell you about this place and all I did is gave a one-point start because I cant reply Ill tell you my experience. I guess I can say Im moving and grooving what it mean that Im not sitting still in one place Im out and about in the real world enjoying life it has wonderful what we should do is enjoy our time while God bless us to be here on this Earth One More Day nothing theres nothing wrong about you enjoying yourself with your family members and also your friends as well if thats what you like to do what we plan to do is lay low a little bit I got some old school Western on my grandfather used to love that little Cowboys and Indian movies does real life though it brings back a lot of memories God bless yall have a wonderful afternoon :-)

Interesting place... Great deals but make sure to closely inspect everything. The will let you open boxes before buying. Very overwhelming, but they have fantastic deals if you have the patience.

I love this place. This stuff is probably items stores have in the back to get rid of but you can find some really good unopened items all the way from bedding to baby strollers to lawn mowers. They will let you test stuff out before you buy. Its like a bargain hunters dream. Make sure to download the app to scan the in store bar codes. The prices on the package are not the price you pay

The most awesome store ever. There is something for everyone here. And the prices are Dirt Cheap literally. I bought a shower head a really nice one the would have been over 100.00 anywhere else for 15.00. My daughter found a pair of Nike shorts for 10.00 that would have been 60.00 at the athletics store. We are happy customers and will definitely be back.

Although the store has an array of goods at reasonable prices, it is extremely difficult to find items that come in pairs. No one bothers to locate item at end of day either. The staff is nice, but the store could use more organization. It would make shopping easier for the customer.

Entered and my daughter said it smelt funny, lets go dad. Nah lets check it out. Found two sets of high quality black out curtains full length, 92 for 6 bucks a panel. Not a bad find. So while musty and rummaged through you may find a surprise in all those piles/

Worth the trip of you dont mind treasure hunting. Huge assortment of almost everything. This most recent trip we dug through bins of costumes and found perfect costumes for the kids for less than half of what we would have paid anywhere else.

The black lady was clearly racist and rude, (a lot of body and face reaction) it is very unfortunate to see such a people working for customers, I am sure I got no store discount and at the same time I purchased 7 items and I was charged for 8, I realized when I was at home. I can give the store 5 stars once i can go in and find what Im looking for easier the store is great!!!! But they could do a better job in displaying broken items and they should try to keep it clean and more organized and enforce people to watch their children. I mean GOODWILL DOESNT EVEN SELL YOU BROKEN ITEMS AT FULL PRICE WHAT THE HECK!!!! They are understaffed and could use more people working. Also if they had guys that for a small fee could deliver the heavier items we purchase that would be amazing!!!! I will continue to shop here every blue moon. Now hear me when i tell you they are cheap but the prices should be brought down way more on extremely damaged or slightly damaged products. They charge the same price for extremely damaged goods as you can find brand new in the store which is not fair. Do your research and homework know what your going in there for before toy go and price compare before you go in because you could end up purchasing furniture and electronics and find it not damaged brand new for the same price in the actual store. If they fixed these things im sure people would never go any where else. But, for what its worth i love the store for all of its name brand items.

They are very honest and upfront about needing to check everything you buy. They have some really great deals, but theyre Electronics really need to be checked out before purchase. I really like this place a lot good bargains. I gave it four stars only because I hate their hours theyre only open till 8 during the week and closed on Sunday.

You need to have time to really look, but there are some very good deals here. Ive purchased electronics, home/garden supplies, shoes, clothes, etc., and have always had a positive experience.

Its exactly what you think it is. Good deals to be had, but you have to dig. Always packed and the customers usually trash the place, which sucks. Download the app to get the real prices, but be prepared for it not to work all the time.

The store is untidy but great items you just have to be patient and look through the tons of stuff they have. Great discounts!!! They even discount it again at the register depending on the corresponding letter on the price tag to a specific percentage off for even more savings. I got 3pairs of jeans and two tops for under 20 bucks and they are in excellent condition. Like i said you just have to be patient and go through the items carefully.

I guess I had higher expectations for the store. Now I will say that there are a lot of Bargains to be had if youre willing to put in the work to find them, but that was many more things that frustrated me. So there are aisles and aisles and racks on racks on racks of womens clothing were on the other hand guys clothing only took up about to racks off in the corner. Many of the items had been opened so they have missing parts. Some things in there were just discontinued a while back and the product has been there a long time so the packaging is all beat up. One thing I will say is that that place is a very inexpensive

Always a deal, but patience is required. I mainly use dirt cheap for inexpensive name brand toys and learning supplies for my son.

OMG! I found pet clothing for 3$. The deals are unlimited. They have awesome prices on Christmas decorations, and allow at least a couple of hours to get a look at everything, you will love it.

This store was disappointing. Ive found flea markets more organized. It was a mess. Unless you have hours to waste, dont bother.

My wife loves it so there must be something redeeming about it but whatever it is escapes me. Understaffed. Long lines. Disorganized clothes. Cant find what I need. Inconsistent stock. Depressing atmosphere. Threatening signage. Please God, dont make me go back there.

Dirt cheap isnt a really good discounted store!!! I saw a dress from Gap priced @ 89.99 discounted to 59.99. I can go to Gap to there cleanses & buy a dress for cheap....cheaper then what dirt cheap is offering. Gap, Old Navy & Banana Republic are all owned by the same company. Banana Republic is more of a high end brand then Gap. First & & last time there.... never going back

You can find some really great deals but you have to hunt for them. The place is in a consistent state of disarray - disorganized and Id even say dirty (can yall sweep? Mop?), but if you have patience and time, youll be rewarded with major savings. A lot of the items appear to be from Target, but Ive seen items from Gap and Claires, designers like Tommy Hilfiger and Liz Claiborne. Give it a shot, just dont have any expectations.

Unorganized, useless and broken items

If you like Target, you will LOVE Dirt Cheap! Last season stuff and damaged box stuff for way cheaper than Target prices. Right now the have swimsuits for 3.50. Patio furniture sets about 100 bucks. If you go in looking for something specific, you may not find it, but they always have awesome deals

Ive seen better thrift stores that look better than Dirt Cheap. There were fans at good prices, however you couldnt check them because none of the outlets on the testing tables worked. We told an employee and they just blew us off saying it needs to be fixed in back. But we noticed the appliances that were on the table to be tested were mostly broken. And with their no return, no refund policy I dont care how cheap it is, Im not gambling my money on them.

Worth the trip if youre looking for some random household items. I found what I was looking for...well, almost. A lot of items are missing pairs, so its a toss up whether to pay 1/8 of the price for one item and find its pair online, or just get something you REALLY like at full price altogether.The cashier was very nice and the staff was very helpful.

This is the first thrift store i could actually find plus size maternity pants. This store has some good finds, you just have to have loads of time on your hand xD

First time here. Loved it except Im a nicely dressed woman who spent three hours shopping there. Theres allot to check it but dang people, there are people like me that notice your special calls to your security and we know youre watching us because there if you, different ages and on Street clothes, walked by my cart within 5 minutes to swing your glance to my purse which I dont zip shut and also....I dont steal and was very uncomfortable

I overheard staff complaining they werent allowed a 15 minute break until AFTER working 4 hours straight. They are allowed a 30 minute lunch, but they cant leave the store to obtain a lunch. If they didnt bring lunch from home, then they starve. Doesnt seem like this establishment cares for its employees work rights or follow General Texas Employment Laws. Perhaps, this is another reason these prices are so dirt cheap.

This store is more of an open box type of store. Which basically means, its items returned from other stores from people. But they also do have new items. It really depends when you go and what they have. Its always changing. So if you do find something you like, get it! But if you really look you can walk out with some really good things at cheap prices.

The deals you can get here are outrageous. You really have to sift through the junk to find the gems though. It looks like a huge garage sale but you can sometimes find unopened, unused items that work perfectly fine for 80% of its normal price.

I read somewhere that when stuff is pile up shoppers tend to but more, well not in my case. I visited the store and left without buying anything because everything was pile up that even some items were broken, how can you take a good look at something when everything is a mess? The clothes were not organized by size, they had some furnitures in boxes but the boxes were open. Sales are final but what if you buy lets say a chair and some pieces are missing? I saw they had snacks my advise is to check the expiration date because some of the packages were expired.

Not what I thought this store was going to be. The prices on goods are not all that cheap. Gives me the feel of Goodwill store. Good prices for clothes.

April 10, 2019.Today I was the 1st time I had ever been to one of these stores!!time it was so well organized, clean, smelled wonderful, etc.

2 stars because I did actually find good stadium chairs there for $20 each but for the most part there is a reason its called dirt cheap. The store was a wreck and aside from the stadium chairs anything worth buying was not dirt cheap.
