I visited this location to help a friend move his stuff in but the experience I had thanks to the manager was about as uncomfortable as buying adult diapers for my mother in law. The manager seemed like she was sitting on a spring and was ready to jump up the moment someone did something she considered out of line. At one point I threw away a medium size Ziploc bag with sone trash into the only trash can i could find and before it hit the bottom of the bin out came Ms manager to tell me that was her trash can and its for office use only. Based off of how the property looked i should have just thrown it on the ground like everyone else did. Ms. manager you need to work on your people skills and be a little more user friendly, your running a business not a prison so please act accordingly.
Disappointing experience. I don’t recommend this location.I wanted to return a 12 foot trailer and extended my rental by one day to ensure I could drop it off with their assistance. I arrived at 10:30 AM and learned that they were closed even though their hours of operation showed they were open and a customer service person told me they were open. The parking area to drop off a trailer is very small and beside a very busy road. I was very concerned that we would cause an accident trying to leave the trailer.Find another location.
So in the past 2 months i have rented out a 10’ uhaul truck 3 times! This last experience was amazing and a wonderful employee named Meghan Draper assisted me with my last rental and she was phenomenal! Iv never had a bad experience with uhaul, the employees have always been great and helpful but she went above and beyond! She personally cleaned my rental and it was spotless. Iv had some not so clean ones before, but she takes pride and truly shows how much she cares about her work!
Ms. Meghan is awesome!! She was helpful and does a great job. Ive have a unit here and rented a truck and she did what she could for things not to be so expensive for our move in. Thank you!!!
If there was a 0.5 Star I would rate this site location half a star. I’m not sure if it was totally bias, or disrespectful! I have move 4 times within 2 years and I always use uhaul. There has not been one moment I had to provide references and their information to rent a 10’ truck for 2 hours! This site is very unprofessional with their disgrace for humanity itself and black ethnicity due to racial profiling! I can not believe that any personnel that has supervision of this employee( Draper), allows the actions of an employee to act so freely with no remorse! I can only imagine how the corporate management training the employees to have no remorse and act freely with their intentions!
Ordered 20 boxes and 2 rolls of tape online for a specific time pick up. Got there on time but guy ahead of me renting a trailer was going through an incredibly long and involved trailer rental including arguing over whether or not they could rent the trailer to him and when he needed to return the trailer due to previous reservations. Also the old dude didnt understand the UHaul system of uploading ID picture. 10 minutes later a second associate finally helped with my order. Sorry but this seems like bad management big time!
From the first moment I give this location a 5 stars. Meghan did make sure to please all the way that peace of mind that I need.I recommend this location to anyone.Thanks again Meghan for the hard work.
Horrible experience! The general manager of this location is rude and condescending. Mrs.Draper tried to charge me double on a round about guess of a return time and couldn’t show me in the disclaimer(I read it twice) where it was legal to do so. And then she proceeded to tell me if I would have told her a return time of 5pm there would be no extra charge. Make that make sense. A verbal agreement in a corporate store. Not too sure how fond she is of minorities. But that’s a story for another day. Overall I’d move all my home furniture on my back before I rent another anything from this lady or location. For the people in the Dallas area that Google uhaul near by. If the street Harry Hines appears in your search go to 9929 Harry Blvd where the staffers are very polite and do not look to take advantage and penny pinch. If the address 11061 Harry Hines appears keep driving. Not sure if the are connected in any way but the experiences were night and day.
Excellent service, stopped here to pick up my rental. The truck was already waiting upon arrival. Turned out I needed a larger truck and requested to change. The manager got my new truck in a matter of a couple of minutes. They have any of your shipping needs for purchase. Another 5 minutes and after inspection I was given my paperwork and ready to go. Highly recommend this place.
Five stars in my book, with Mrs Meghan leading the charge. She went beyond and over make sure I was completely satisfied.

Worst u-haul experience Ive had. Ive used u-haul plenty of times in the past and have never had a complaint. This time was different. I picked up the truck on a Wednesday at 7:30am. The process was quick and painless. Then at 6pm, I went back to pick up the car dolly to load my car for the drive. It took them 15 minutes to connect the car dolly then told me to load it and secure it myself. When I went to load it, one of the dolly lights didnt work. After about 10 minutes, I finally found someone who works there and told him about the light not working. It took him over 30 minutes to remove the dolly and install a different one, even though there were 9 of them right there. He was riding a bike and laughing with other coworkers the entire time instead of changing the dolly. I had a 14hr drive ahead of me and this is not how I expected it to start. I had to load and secure my car as well. Every other location would have me drive my car up, but they would make sure it is secured before leaving. Not here. Worst part is that I didnt even select this location, but the location near me didnt have the equipment I had ordered so they changed my pickup to this location.
The general manager is amazing and very service oriented! The only U-Haul location Ive ever liked

Megans service was horrible. I had to pickup a package from a UPS facility close by. My package was too big to fit in my wifes car so I needed to rent a truck. I usually rent from the Addison U-Haul location but that location was too far from the area I was at. The Addison location (which Ive recently used many times before) is extremely polite, professional and RESPECTFUL. They have never asked me to take a photo or questioned if I have a credit card to rent a vehicle. Once I got to this location I patiently waited for Megan to finish her lunch and at 1 p.m. when she opened the door, she looks at me at states You have to have a major credit card in order to rent a truck. Her tone was immediately judgmental. I was kind to her and stated I have a major credit card. I guess when she heard my response she felt bad by the way she addressed me and she apologized. She clearly stated she wasnt trying to be judgmental (yet she was very judgmental) and I dismissed it. I was busy with work that day and I just wanted to rent the truck and be on my way to get my package and take it home and return the U-Haul truck. She was very extra with all the paperwork making me feel like I was going to do something to the truck. She even emphasized the one pick-up truck she has must be returned to her location since it is the only one she has. I made it clear to her that I would return the truck back to her location. She was questioning everything about me and made me feel I was going to steal the truck. She took a complete photo of me with her phone before I was able to leave the store. I told her I just moved and have used the U-Haul location in Addison and they have never taken a photo of me with a phone. She proceeded to state that this is policy and that the U-Haul location in Addison is not doing their job correctly. I allowed her to take the photo and proceeded to leave. I left to use the truck for what I rented it for (to pickup a big package Megan from UPS). Megan clearly stated all I would need to do is drop of the truck within the allotted time (which I did) and that I would need to make sure the gas level is where it was when I left with the truck (which I did add more gas than I needed to with my major credit card). When I returned the truck I figured I would drop it off quickly and leave quickly since this was all unexpected and I needed to get back to work. Well, that didnt happen! When I returned the truck Megan went on a full detailed inspection of the truck. She again made me feel like if I was hiding something. She was hitting the tires and looking under the vehicle. She searched the vehicle I dont know how many times and started jumping on the back of the truck (I guess to make sure the shocks were working...what??). She was literally holding me hostage with all the questions she had for me. At this point I rightfully got frustrated with her since I needed to get back to work and she was literally asking me a ton of suspicious questions. I told her I dont have time for this and I need to go. I told her U-Haul in Addison has never questioned me the way she has and that the truck was used for less than an hour to pickup my package, drop off, put gas and drive back to her location. In all, Megan is very judgmental, stereotypical and RUDE. Which is why she felt the need to apologize to me when she treated me the way she did. Shes also the General Manager and quite frankly, shouldnt even be in that position. As a Mortgage Branch Manager I know how NOT to treat customers and your General Manager title just like my Branch Manager title means, nothing. Treat all people equally and with respect. I have escalated this review to upper management so they are aware of the stereotypical General Manager they have and I would love to hear back from U-Haul on this matter. Megan, stop judging people. Please remember these words “Stop judging that you may not be judged;... 2 for with the judgment you are judging, you will be judged, and with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you.
I love Megan.She is knowledgeable and so helpful I appreciate everything she helped me with.I had to close my business and I was devastated. I came in and didnt know where to start & I was so distracted. She took care of all details and arrangements.If I ever go back in business I would hire her!Thank you so very much Megan!Uhaul you are very lucky to have this employee!

I used this UHaul for one-month storage and had many interactions with the general manager, Meghan. She provided excellent customer service at every step of the process. Moving is a stressful time, so it is nice to have people along the way who are willing to go above and beyond to make the process easier.
Horrible experience! I have rented from Uhaul many times before at different locations and this time over there the lady did not accept my driver’s license, she said she needed my passport or the contact info of 2 people that knew me...why? because I am hispanic? after she confirmed my identity by phone she proceeded to allowed me to rent...also she did not maintain social distancing or wore a mask. I do not recommend this place.
Meghan is awesome. If I dealt with people like her every day my business life would much easier..

Staff is rude. the staff who was there when i started using this place and the staff they have now. rude. the hours changed without notice. and if you have a unit inside you do not get accees up to 10 pm, when the office closes your access closes. totally bogus
Really need to find another storage facility - called to pay my bill and get put on hold automatically and then some rep. In Arizona (Im in Texas) answers and puts me on hold again! Lousy customer service.
