Have not rented since 2015. Did not know I was going to have to picture through my vehicle check in. Customer service should have inquired if I understood the return process (after hours) especially since they were closing at 5pm not 7pm. Not only that, the online did not as well. I feel for the customers that are not tech savvy. I took pictures because I cover myself, unaware that I had to picture through the online and not upload pictures. This was horrible and frustrating to me. The after hour return process was HORRIBLE. There was a younger couple trying to turn in theirs as well and was unaware of the process nor did they realize they had to take pictures. To see that I was not the only one was upsetting. This process requires informing the customer, make take a few minutes out of the personnels time but that is quality customer service.

My mom put her very personal and items in their storage shed (close to Redbird Lane). We were with her when wher things were put in shed. She called the following month to pay her bill and was told her name wasnt in the system. Yes, we had a receipt! The storage unit was rented to someone else and all of moms personal things were GONE! The pictures of her grandmother and son, both deceased! The staff was unprofessional and useless in rectifying this issue! Dont use this place!

Was informed a complimentary dolly is always in 26 truck. No dolly.

I rented a 15ft truck for 8:30am. The front desk employee was polite and attentive. We had a slight problem when we returned truck, the keys were locked inside the truck. However the manager was more than willing to help us. I would definitely use this location again.

Customer service was great! The staff was very courteous and welcoming while observing the safety of everyone ensuring that social distancing and mask wearing was being implemented making the process comfortable, quick, and easy.The only suggestion I have with the outside temperatures near advisory levels at times would be to have the truck pulled out with AC on and ready to go. This would also make it easier to maneuver/drive out. This should be done after official notification is given that the renter has arrived and is checking the truck out if possible.

Using the app is a pain in the rear. However, going inside is a pain too because you want to call my friends or family which is a pain. You guys need to get it together. Seriously... If your mobile pickup and drop-off is the way to go, make it work better and please stop taking so long for this process to take place. It has never been a good experience on the app but its better than in person because you want to call so many people... Its ridiculous to say the least...

My rental experience went pretty well but with Covid19 on the rise, I was disappointed with the staff not wearing masks. Its was insulting and uncomfortable doing business at an urgent time. I wish everyone would strongly consider one another health....if not their own.

I would clarify the call & verified contact situation along with 2nd form of ID, BEFORE picking up the vehicle. IDs & passports are easier to find before you’re all packed. When I picked Online pick up through phone I thought it would be a more streamlined process, but it was just the opposite. I lost a whole hour which would not have extended my allotted time with the vehicle, if I would have picked 4 hours as suggested by the website I would have been on the phone with customer service. & didn’t help I did not get some kind of credit for leaving vehicle with more gas than when I picked it up, but would have been charged if short. It’s only fair in my perspective if you will charge if short then you can credit when over.

I made my reservation for the camp Wisdom and 35 location because its 1.1 miles from my house. I book my reservation and arrive at 7am per the text message I received from your system. The young lady behind the counter tells me my reservation was cancelled because my pick-up times was supposed to be 5:30 (even though they werent open) and they dont have any cargo vans available. So she made me a reservation at the next closest location that had a cargo van. (This added 10 extra miles to my trip because of these distance from my house) I arrive, rent the van and the young lady behind the counter tells me when everything is complete, of youre going to return it late just give me a call. She never said anything about additional charges if I was late or I would have changed my return time to give me a greater space cushion. I go and use the van for what I needed and encounter an accident on the freeway that delayed me by 40 minutes. I call the young lady and tell her Im going to arrive at 4 instead of 3. She tells me youre extending your contract which will result in additional charges of $41.50 and hangs up. At this point Im livid. I get done with the van, get gas and arrive at your U-haul center at 3:48p. The young man checks me in and tells me not to worry about the extra charges, he will put me down that I returned the van on time. I was extremely disappointed with the way the additional time request was handled by your representative to say the least. If I do recommend or use this location again (I probably wont, Ill just use Penske because I have rented from them before and they dont play games like this) I will automatically add 2 hours to my return time to avoid the frustration.

Extremely helpful and stellar customer service! The general manager Michael gave me a discount for inconvenience when the “Uhaul at Camp Wisdom pretty much gave me a blank stare with a variety of rude remarks after they didn’t have the Uhaul I RESERVED a week in advance. Would totally recommend this location over the Camp Wisdom location!

Dont waste your time going to get your propane tank filled up, i went inside to ask for propane, and told me to wait outside, 30 mins passed and still no service

You might consider additional staffing so as to improve the customer experience and get all the maintenance done. You can rent it if it isn’t rentable!

The guy who rented the truck to us at the Westmoreland Station was super friendly and helpful. I think his name was Shawn?? Anyway, super nice.

Stephanie lied to me . I needed a car trailer and she said the trailers they had in stock were not working properly. One of the worst excuses I have heard in my entire life.

Horrible. I wanted to buy two boxes..... Yes, two boxes. There were four employees in the building. One was working, one was eating a sandwich and two were talking. The one person working was helping a family and greeted me.After waiting for 25 minutes, boxes in hand, the sandwich eater finally asked me if Id been helped. I was obviously an inconvenience to these folks. Why would I be buying boxes? Because Im getting ready to move. Thank you for checking one off my to do list.... deciding where to rent my moving truck. It wont be from you.

They never propane, at least that’s what they say!

This used to be my fav u-haul rental place. Not anymore. They were nice to me because guess what I spoke English I am Hispanic BTW. But to other people there that did not speak English they were not treated well. They wanted propane. Were told to wait outside. Outside!! In the middle of the Texas HEAT weather. You guys now how bad the heat is in the beginning of August. After them waiting out there for 20 min they came back in waiting again to see what happened. The girls behind the counter started rolling her eyes at them talking about today is not the day to mess with her. That is when I stepped in to try and help them. The 2 girls there were not very nice to them. There was a guy there who is supposed to be the manager and he wasnt any help. If these people do not want to deal with non English speaking customers they are working in the wrong neighborhood.

Great service. Fast, friendly, no issues. The truck I wanted wasn’t available, they upgraded me. Worker was friendly even though customer ahead of me was super rude & disrespectful to him. Drop off was also very fast, easy. Best Uhaul experience ever.

The “manager” Jason Brown was the most unprofessional person I had known before. He was so rude. I would NEVER go back to this location. I would advise anyone looking to rent a uhaul within 10 miles of this store to do not rent. I was charged 186.87 for a 9 mile move (25 miles total) I was charged an extra day extra miles (51)and even for the use of furniture pads. They charge to hold money off your card and then charge you for what it’s supposed to be and tell you it’s gonna be 3-5 days just to blame your bank for the money not being put back. Please take heed to this review. It’s not worth it go to penske or a uhaul farther out but this one, the one on i35 and Camp Wisdom and the On Westmoreland is not worth a dime of anyone’s money

They were completely unhelpful and told me that I could only rent a dolly, that would not work with my towing situation, just because their system did not list my truck as an option in their drop-down menu. I spoke to a technician, showing him the specs on my truck (a 1992, Cummins Diesel W250 - a beast of a truck that is BUILT to tow), and they still would not even consider it for towing. This truck has safely towed other Uhaul vehicle transport trailers before (not to mention fifth wheels, camping trailers, scrap metal trailers, etc) for years, and never had issues. Specifically the people at this location are incompetent. If you have an old truck that is not in their system, they wont even consider it.

Friendly people, helpful and the young man, Chevery with him. Quite a gentle man. Good home training. Highly recommend this location.

The issue is not cleanliness, it is extra charges, I have put everything in order in my order in the web site, While in the shop it has been calculated different, but they still added extra charges which I have not even exceed the milage written in the store.

Awful experience overall. I am still waiting to finally be taken out of their system, because apparently, their staff forgot and I was charged an extra month. Terrible communication skills, had horrible luck trying to schedule and coordinate a pick up, and they also broke my lock to top it all. Do NOT recommend this company AT ALL.

Service was great. I was charged too much, and I was promised a credit that I never received. The vehicle was given to me at less than 1/4 tank.

They didnt have the truck I ordered online and the system was down they couldnt find my online order.

Horrible customer service. They ignored me for almost to 2 hours which was really an hour but they hadnt even started it. I could have stolen everything from the front area. Thank goodness

They do not attend one, I have here 20 minutes and there are 3 people at the counter and none attend me they told me in a minute we help you and nothing I need propane and nobody attends me, I think they need better service.
