I suggest you lower all your trucks by a few inches to clear the famous 11foot8 railway bridge.

Small little lot but no challenge for a semi truck driver. I got it in there 26 ft with other trucks all over and still never blocked the gate. Dropped off in the overnight drop box because theyre closed Sundays.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Staff was very friendly. Truck was very clean. They did not have the car hauler I needed in stock, but found one for me to pickup on the way to my destination just a few miles off the highway. One of the best truck rental experiences I have ever had. Would highly recommend Penske, and definitely recommend this location in Durham, NC if you need to rent in this area!

I loved my rental... the lady took a lot of time explaining the truck and it was a GREAT experience. The truck connected to my phone and i streamed music all the way down, the ac blew great, the ride was smooth, i got the truck full and had to return it full which was GREAT, no worries on miles cheaper than UH and just a great experience. Truck does use a lot of gas though

I reserved a one-way truck 2 weeks in advance online and everything with the reservation went smoothly. I called the 800 number to confirm that they had received my online reservation and that a truck would be available when the date came, I was assured it would be. It was.I met Lee at the Hillsborough St. store on the day I went to pick up the truck. I didnt want insurance because I felt the price of the rental was extremely high (due to peak season). Lee went over the truck and encouraged the insurance so I got it. He was very helpful. To my surprise, there was also a hand truck on the truck which I didnt expect. The truck was relatively new, easy to drive and comfortable to ride in. There was excellent air condition, cruise control, ease of handling and over potholes and bumps in the road.I think Penske provides very good trucks. Kids Properties staff also provided excellent and professional customer service. I felt safe and well taken care of during and after this transaction. Thanks guys!

Very pleased with my experience. The truck was clean, in good condition, and ready to go on time. Im trans, and the woman who helped me was very kind and respectful. I would go back.

We accidentally put gas in our diesel rental truck (watch out for the BP green gas pump handles) and the service department showed up in Nashville within 1/2 hour and pumped the tank out - done in 15 minutes and on the road. We were totally amazed. These guys have their act together. BP gas stations use the green handles and where we are from green means diesel. This is a big problem for BP if you are from out west watch out for BP green pump handles.

This is the second time I have rented a truck from Penske. First to Texas from NC. And 8 months later, back to NC. I gotta tell you, the first trip their were no issues at all. It was a yellow 16ft Penske with dolly for just about $1100 with taxes. She handled like a dream and I was full to the brim. It was also pretty good on gas. Spent about $260.Now, on the way back we got a white with blue trim 16ft. Only this time, we rented a car carrier because my wife had to fly home to NC. Because her niece was having very serious medical problems. Again, she handled great except she was pulling to the right something awful. After checking the tires, I noticed the back right tire was 10lbs lighter than the others. So I got out my compressor and put the ten in and after checking under the hood, off I went. Left at 0300 on the 20th and pulled in at 1735 on the 22nd. No problems at all but still pulling to the right some but not enough to give me a problem just enough to be a nuisance once in a while. Thank you Penske for not adding problems to a grueling drive. Drove a U-Haul once, a 19ft. NO BRAKES AND 1ST GEAR GONE. Rough ride man. I said never again!

These guys are great they have 24-hour towing there they towed my daughters car after an accident and waited for us to arrive from 2 hours away

Make sure that youre driver doesnt get your refund for the extra insurance. Refunded in cash. Told me its not their fault, when the transition was on a card.

Send more people under the bridge. We need more free entertainment!

Had to wait two hours for my truck because of a flat tire they havent noticed prior to my arrival. Service was ok, got 10% discount for the delay.
