I had a great experience purchasing a vehicle through Novell Auto Group. I test drove half a dozen cars, found two that were real gems, and ended up buying one, regretting I couldnt buy the other as well. The people were genuinely pleasant to be with, not pushy or impatient in any way, but positive and pleased with the selection of cars they had to offer. Highly recommended!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, I have been stuck with a 05 Subaru Outback from them that has no title issued. I have called them multiple times, and also gone to the DMV and they cannot figure out why I am not able to even apply for a duplicate title. This has been a 3 year ordeal, and the vehicle doesnt even work any more. I cant get rid of the vehicle because I have no title so I am stuck in Limbo. Currently I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General and I encourage everyone that has had major issues with them to do the same. People should not be allowed to operate their business if they are not doing it honestly.

I purchased a 2004 VW Passat 2 years ago from this dealer. The Vehicle was/is in good shape runs good, no major mechanical issues. The price was reasonable and overall I would say I got a good deal. HOWEVER, at the time of purchase I paid in full with a trade-in. I thought everything was in order until a few months go by and I still hadnt received the title... I called and called, I sent text messages and emails. I spoke with the owner multiple times and still no title. I found out that the title still had a lien on it from the previous owner and the dealer never requested a lien release.Which bring us to present day. I still have not received the clean title. I have been working with the new owner (Alina) to resolve this issue for the last few months. Hopefully Im getting closer to the end of this saga. I do not recommend buying a car from this dealer. The hassle is not worth it...

I bought an 05 Crown Victoria Police from them. They buy these cars at auction and have little to no clue on whats wrong with them or how they run. Mine sat awhile and thank goodness not a lot is wrong with it. So have a mechanic with you if you buy from here. Also Im still waiting on the title and its been almost a month from buying it.

As of right now they get only one star from me. After emailing Joel with some questions about the 2007 Forester and to see is he could send me the correct VIN so I could run a car fax, I have yet to receive and reply back. Until I finally get a reply, this one star rating will stand.

Over payed on an Ouback XT a year ago. CEL comes on on the way home. The owner Andrew wouldnt help fix it. 800 dollars later car is running. Put 10k more miles on it and the engine blew a few days ago. These people are thieves and they are well aware they are scamming people. Dont ever buy from them. Dont even bother looking.

After looking at a 2007 Subaru Forester for sale on Craigslist, I decided to contact the phone number listed and right away got a response. The guy told me he was a one man operation and had time between 11AM-2PM and 3:30-4:30PM the following day, even though his hours of operation said 10AM-6PM.We met with him at his office building in Eden Prairie and he gave us the specs on the car. The guy was nice, but seemed a bit all over the place. We took it for a test drive and everything seemed to run fine. After that we stepped into his office and he told us about how he gets his cars from auctioneers or from New Gate automotive school. We asked if it would be okay if we took it to our mechanic the next day and he agreed. The next morning we looked up the reviews for the one man operation and got scared by what we read. Multiple people said that you needed to have your own mechanic with you or that there were secret problems with the cars they decided to purchase. Thankfully, we have an honest mechanic who weve worked with in the past and were getting him to take a look at it. When we got to the office building, he didnt have any license plates for the car and lost the Dealer license plate he had, so he wrote us a 21 day plate like you would get after you purchase a brand new car. As he was taking my license down on the plate I looked and on his desk were different cars with the year and price on it, including the Forester I was going to get inspected. The only problem was, the price on the paper read $3265, whereas his add on Craigslist read $4295. I didnt ask what the paper meant, but found it sketchy that there were two significantly different prices and took a picture while he was writing all the information down on the plate. After taking it to our mechanic, he asked if we bought it, we said no, and he said, Good. Dont. There were three different leaks in it including the gasket and antifreeze, along with some engine problems. Our mechanic said it would have cost thousands upon thousands of dollars to fix this car to run properly. We take it back to the guy and there was another hopeful customer in his office, I wanted to yell, Take it to a mechanic! but waited until he walked out of the room to say, We wont be taking this. He asked if there were things our mechanic wanted to fix, without so much as a confused look on his face or surprised tone in his voice. We told him, what he already knew Im sure, that there were three different leaks. After, I gave him back the keys and looked him square in the eye and said, You might want to get those fixed before you try to sell it to someone else. And walked out.Do not trust them/him just because he is nice, get your mechanic to take a look at the car. It could cost you thousands of extra dollars!

I am looking to buy a car and found a nice looking Subaru for sale. The ad that I found was from a single person seller, not a dealer. I texted them and set up a time to meet in the afternoon. After arriving at the address I was given, I gave the number a call and no one answered. I saw that my phone had recognized the number as Novell auto group, and so I checked them out on Google maps to read their reviews. Most of them are negative. I called a few more times, and then saw that someone was showing the car I was interested in to another party.Overall their communication was pretty poor, along with overbooking appointments, and I didnt really like how they pretended to be an individual, but were really an organization.

Absolutely ridiculous is honestly all I need to say. They had a 2008 ppv tahoe for sale. I simply called and asked overall condition was told very good condition interior was missing something because it was a police unit. I asked if anything was wrong with it and I was told nope. Everything is good it runs and drives awesome. Pulled 4 engine codes 2 emission codes a fuel pump code and abs. Ac/heat did not work. All gauges did not work. And they had the truck painted by it looked to be a blind dog. Did not paint the door jams and paint was chipping from poor prep for painting. All they did was simply paint over the old paint with little to no sanding. Im no body man but I could see every imperfection from 30 feet away. Absolutely ridiculous experience! I drove over 2 hours for this place. STAY AWAY they are crooks.

Terrible Experience.....First i arrived at Novell about 45 minutes after their posted time of opening. i contacted them and they said they were open. then i said i was there and it was locked. they said that they were open but werent there right now. then i asked to test drive the car and was tld i couldnt because his parents were driving it. overall a WASTE of time and effort. 6HOURS!! later i Test drove a 09 subaru forester it was very dirty and made noises that no cars should make. there was stains all over the car used tissues in the cup holder and so much dirt and grime that you could not see the letters on the shift selector/ they should make a ZERO STAR review/ the transmission was making noises so much that i was afraid to get on it to test the power/Please leave this place alone they just want to feast on the people that dont know anything about cars!!!!!!

If you are considering purchasing a car from these guys google another dealer and walk away from them, Andrew I think is the owner. If you absolutely have to have a car from this dealer make sure you spend the money and get it checked out by someone you trust. These cars come straight from the auction, they slap a sticker of at least double what they and post it. There are many, many dealers in the Twin Cities to choose from dont let their laid back attitude as being polite and good people. If you have anything wrong with your car its sold AS IS!I purchased a car from these guys and I should have went with my gut feeling because they looked like the typical crooked sales guys that dont know anything about cars and are there only to rip you off. They really do use lines like SHESS A SWEETHEART I WOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS CROSS COUNTRY, hahaha. While they are spitting these ridiculous lines at you, they are getting the electrical air pump to fill the flat tire of the car, getting the portible battery jump to jump the car because its been sitting there and you did not tell them you were showing up to see it, because if you had they would cover up anything if they can. All the cars I test drove had check engine lights on. I bet you if go there tomorrow and ask about the check engine light on any of their cars they will tell you its nothing, O2 sensor or they may even say that they like to decorate the cars with lights because its the holiday season and Christmas is around the corner. I had a lot of issues with my car and these guys will avoid telling you anything that would keep from making a sale. They would sale anything to anyone. If you were a single mother of 2 and expecting twins they would not think twice to make sure the car is safe with no issues! They pick these cars up for pennies at the auction, double the sticker and tell you its a sweetheart. Please avoid this place because when we purchase a used car we need to know what we are getting and what can we expect. They dont know because they are just trying to flip it. I expected to spend a little on the car I purchased but not $900 on a deal they said they were giving me. Learn from the mistakes that some of us have posted on here and go choose a good dealer with a good name, because they at least check their cars with their mechanics. Novell apparently have a mechanic but he is not fixing the cars but making sure it turns on and is able to leave the lot. Novell charges you the same and in many cases more than a good dealership does. Be smart and avoid this place.
