Purchased a Blue iPhone 12 online. Set the pickup date for today. Walked into the store and decided I wanted the black one… You would think it’s a simple exchange. However I used my old iPhone 11 as a trade in. So the old phone was tied into the new 12. Needless to say DJ spent an hour with me resolving this issue. Never once did he get upset or frustrated. What a hassle this was but what an amazing job he did to make the process super smooth. We called Apple online.. had them cancel the phone. Re set up the new color, and he sat with me keeping me company while he transferred over my info. Seriously made the entire experience amazing. Great employee! Deserves a big raise. Would love the have him working for me.

So hard to find someone who actually will help you and then some of them dont know anyway and you have to find another. Dont like the way Apple tries to make you behave in their format also. I try to stay away from the Apple ecosystem as much as possible. It stinks that they have the best systems for artwork.

Those guys are messing. People waiting hours in the line to pick up, which the associates are busy to service one person for an hour to put a screen protector. Even you drive long hours to pick your phone at the provided time slot and they say we don’t see your order and can’t help.Like not sure if this looks like an apple store

This store strives to give hard time to customers.I bought iPhone 13 and went for pick up; I am an authorized user on my t mobile family plan.The specialist and so called team leaders had no clue how to check or validate with t mobile. I asked to call or check in their system and they said that’s not possible.They expected me to prove - while t mobile account portal won’t show authorized user explicitly on my account login .Anyways, wasted an hour drive & finally had to cancel the order.The store employee needs better training and updates !

This Apple store never answers their phones so if you have a question about something like your laptop disappearing and not being delivered back to the store after a repair, it is not possible to get help or support. Maybe it isn’t the Apple store’s job to follow up about missing packages but I wouldn’t know that because again, they don’t answer their phones. When I follow up with FedEx on my own, I can’t get to the bottom of it because I’m not the sender and I don’t have all the delivery details. When you call the Apple store number and they don’t pick up, it connects you with Apple’s general tech support. When you explain your issues to them they say, “oh we have to call the store to figure this out. Let me try.” And every single time they also cannot reach the store. It is a nightmare. If Apple itself cannot reach this store and the phone number they provide never works, how can anyone expect to get their questions answered. The alternative is to take the day off from my job and go to the store to attempt to have my questions answered but then I would have to wait in line for hours or make an appointment two weeks in advance while I’m the meantime, my laptop is potentially lost.

Great experience, showed up on the wrong day, Adrian was very helpful and patient with us until we finally figured out we were there on the wrong day. Got us another appointment, our genius was very helpful and patient and got us all set. Then we had Adrian again (luckily) to help us with a shopping appointment. Headline: Manager had zero problem resolution skills with no authority to right was was absolutely wrong. Details: What was wrong was they provided a replacement under AppleCare due to a hardware issue. That was part was great. The phone-to-phone data transfer failed in store. As such, we agreed Id use the iTunes backup to restore at home. When I did this iTunes failed stating that the device does not have enough store. The phone storage was maxed out when I backed it up, but believed I would be able to restore back using a like for like device. However, due to different file compressions between the iTunes back up and iOS maybe there is an issue when the restore was writing back to the phone. So I went back to the store to see about getting a reasonable upgrade to the next size up (from 128 GB to 256 GB) since I believed this was my only option. I felt the price difference between a 128 GB phone and 256 GB phone would be reasonable (which was about $100). After a discussion with the manager the best they could offer was the absolute standard offer: purchasing a new phone and deducting the trade-in value which was $360!!! Far from what I was willing to pay to right this Apple wrong. The original phone was only 8 months old (1 day old on the replacement). On top of the that, the replacement phone was a white label (IE: not retail box) and had a sticker of $399 on it when they gave it to me, so I know they have cheaper version in the back room. Sad that Apple hires managers that have zero care for peoples data, has zero interest in trying to right a wrong and has zero problem resolution skills.

I went to Apple Menlo park for a new mac battery/battery replacement. Truth is, my experience was great. I was a bit nervous because of the reviews how they may take 30-45 days turn-around time, and how they may charge an arm and a leg for a new mac replacement battery. However, I went & dropped it off, and they told me to come back in a day for it, but instead, they called in two hours and said to come pick it up. I have a new mac battery and Im satisfied with my experience there. Also, great price as well!

So I had the BEST experience today at Apple! This was my first time going into an Apple store- I consider myself lucky since Ive had Apple products for years! Anycase I came in extremely unhappy with a new phone purchase- I spoke to 7 different techs on the phone and two were senior advisors and what they put me through for the very obvious defects that my 16 day old phone had was so disgusting that I had to file a BBB complaint on them. Well I have to say Adrian and Taf helped me from the second I walked in! Not only did they take the defected phone they helped with so many other things!!! Im not sure Ill ever call Apple again as these two guys were so nice and professional and of course HELPFUL! I also got the highest level Apple Care and have since cancelled my Verizon insurance...Apple care is way better- another goodie from today as I knew nothing of Apple care! Guys thank you!! Be well!

I called Apple support to assist me with my computer that was running a little slow. The rep told me to restore to factory setting. Now my computer that was in pristine condition doesnt work AT ALL because they are saying the OS software is too old to be reinstalled to the system. So after their support team broke my computer the reps at the Apple store pretty much said tough s****, just buy a new one. For the amount of money customers spend on these devices, you should be taking better care of your customers, not robbing them. I definitely DO NOT recommend.

I TRULY would give 0 stars if I could. I drove to return an extra pair of airpods I no longer wanted. I explained to the associate that i had just missed the return window by a few days and she went to ask her manager if that was okay. Her manger than said that, in a pandemic (where people may not want to leave their home on whim), she would not take the return and I was left to deal with it.I travelled to the Freehold Apple store and while purchasing my Apple Watch (a loss to menlo) where they “understood that things happen and people can’t get there exactly in the time frame”.Will never return there for anything.

I bought a MacBook Air along with apple care. The device was having issue after issue, I spoke to techs over the phone along with a tech in this store and they didn’t really help with the problem they kept passing me off to different people with no solution. Apple Menlo Park was so great Yosy and Danny were so so so helpful they got us in and out. My sisters phone was frozen on the Apple symbol and wouldnt move on from there. Our appointment was scheduled for next Saturday the 19th and Yost no lie got us in today within 5min. So awesome!!! Great customer service Yosy; you rock!!! There new system of needing a reservation to purchase a product is beyond ridiculous. I was told to wait and return to store in 25 min. Meanwhile there were 2 ppl taking reservations and 4 apple workers standing around talking to each other. I come back in 25 min. I was told to wait in a corner and someone will get to me. 5 min later someone shows up. I tell them exactly what Im looking for and they say we dont have it in stock. I explained as soon as I got there I want to purchase an iPad and the 4 ppl standing around or the 2 ppl standing in front waiting for ppl to get reservations couldnt have looked up to see if what I needed to buy was even in stock. This use to be a good store not anymore. Guess Im making the switch from apple products to much of hassle.

I called the apple customer care center who in turn called the store in Menlo with me on the line and we spoke with Emily. I explained that while traveling abroad and having phone issues in Colombia (no apple stores there) I brought my phone into an “apple certified” shop and they tampered with my phone, taking the apple battery out and replacing it with a Russian brand copy. I said that I knew that Apple doesn’t work on tampered phones, and asked what I could do since my battery barley lasts an hour. She told me it’s not a problem, just bring it in and they’ll replace the battery as long as there is no long term damage that would prevent them from changing it.I bring in the phone and am told to return two hours later. I do exactly that and the apple employee comes out with my phone. She explains that they didn’t repair the phone battery because they had found that the battery was tampered with and it’s apples policy to not work on phones that have been tampered with for safety reasons. I replied that they did not find it to be tampered with, I reported that it was tampered to them and was told to bring it in anyway. She replied “yeeeaaahh, it’s apples policy to not work on tampered phones but you can buy a certified preowned model iPhone X similar to yours for $570.” I asked why Emily didn’t just say this on the phone and I could save a trip out to Menlo Park mall? She just repeated what she said above and ignored my question.I was furious, took my phone and left. I then went to a local repair person and got a generic iPhone battery for $50 including install. I was going to trade this in for the iPhone 13 in October, but now I won’t. I’m going to transition all my apple products (iPad and Mac mini) to regular PC stuff, I would give this company another dollar. Your employees are aloof and arrogant and expect everyone that walks into the store to be as knowledgeable as they are. They polite passive aggressive attitudes they have are just out of control.

Do not escalate your issues to the manager (Mallory specifically) at this store - the ground staff is probably more helpful. Went to get apple insurance on my device that I bought 3 weeks ago. I was being charged full price when the offer on the website clearly said I would get $40 off. Called apple from the mall itself and they put it on my device on the spot. Honestly I’m very frustrated. I expected more from a trillion dollar company. I went in with MULTIPLE hardware issues with my phone, which was evident after Frank ran a diagnostic and analytics test. He nicely told me that my only option was to pay for a replacement. Shocked I disagreed and expressed the fact that I have taken great care of my phone for 2 years, have never wet it, and have never taken it out if my otter box case. Why should I pay for something that apple messed up? When he picked up my frustrations he went to get his supervisor aka manager of the store John. When he arrived he told me the exact same thing that Frank did as if I didn’t understand it the first time. He offered no help to me whatsoever, no other options, and no alternatives. According to him I had to pay for a new replacement. As a student at Rutgers university who is not working because of the coronavirus, this is very frustrating and I can’t express how upset I am. John did not have the decency to try to make us the customers happy. He didn’t try hard to figure out what our other options could be. I never write reviews, but as a customer of apple for half my life, the customer service here was atrocious.

This is the worst Apple store I have ever visited in last 10 years in 5 different countries. I wish there was zero star for this review. I went to the store for my MacBook issues and gave my laptop for repair. A technician named Anthony called me to explain the issue after 2 hours. He explained that laptop needs a battery replacement which I agreed to proceed but he didn’t mention how long it will take . He told it may take 30-45 days . The reason was they have to order part and then keep laptop in line until my number comes. When I said instead of keeping laptop in your store for 45 days you can call me when the battery is available and then I will visit to replace battery on the same day. But again answer was we still have to keep laptop for don’t know how many days . I suggested to buy the battery from Apple and replace myself to avoid this delay but then that is also not acceptable by them . Are you guys insane . What part of world are you guys living. Just for a battery replacement you will take 45 Days . Shame on you. That guy was too rude with me and he disconnected the call when I asked him to transfer the call to his manager . Shame Apple.

Came here to repair my phone and they made me wait 2 hrs to tell me that my phone needed to be replaced, which in all honesty could’ve been done in an hour at most. Afterwards, I ask the girl to transfer my information and she tells me they’re closing and that if I didn’t have it backed up that they couldn’t transfer anything. I’ve owned apple phones for years and I know you can transfer info. between phones with no issues. The girl seemed like she was desperate for me to leave and I wasn’t even asking for much. I had a stolen iPhone and the guy that actually try to help was rude and pretty much doesnt know anything but call customer service over the phone answer. he pretty much got rid of 3potential customers in less than 5 minutes. Its reassuring to see that I wasnt the only person who had a problem with Mallory - I went into the store with my Covid19 positive result (from 3 weeks prior) to tell her that I tested positive for Covid hence couldnt come into the store earlier to get Apple care on my device. She said in a very rude way: you couldve called you know? Im sure you have access to a phone.I was shocked because when I called Apple the representative told me that they needed to see the device so take it into the nearest Apple Store. Even then, after quarantining, I was just 3 days late on their 60 day policy. Who would think a billion dollar company would draw such a hard line with no empathy or understanding on the situation? Unprofessional. Customer service needs to be taught how to treat customers. Managers need to be retrained as they are training there sales reps incorrectly. When a customer advises a manager about the info provided by the sales rep. As a manager you need to verify with your sales rep if the info that the customer provided was correct. Do not doubt your customer without proof of what is being stated is true. Sales reps need to be retrained in order not to misinform customers with pricing, sales, trade-in etc. It will avoid lots of mishaps and wrong info. Its not all about making a sale but making sure that the customer comes back the next time. Im definitely not returning to the Apple store at Menlo Park.

This review is about one of the store rep/manager at this location. I went in as a frustrated customer and was hoping to get a solution for a very simple billing problem which customer care wasn’t able to solve and I was stuck in a loop. I knew that store Has nothing to do with it but I was left with no choice. Taf (apologies if I haven’t got your name correct) the store rep/manager listened and understood my problem and he gave a last shot with customer care. As usual no solution and I was super disappointed. He couldn’t solve my problem but he did something out of his way which I really appreciated and left the store as a happy customer. All I can say is that he is a gem of a person and an employee which Apple should never loose. More than anything, I loved the way he approached the situation and that taught me a lesson. If I had my own company, I would have hired him right there. It was nice meeting you buddy. You made my day. God bless.
