We came in not knowing what was wrong with our car. Chad listened right away and recommended it to be left for further diagnosis/repair. We needed the alternator replaced and they were able to get us in, and out, within two days. This shop is professional and helpful (especially for someone who doesn’t know a thing about cars)!

Got us an appointment quickly and finished diagnosing our car in less than an hour. They were very upfront about the damage that was found and what the cost and labor would be to repair it. Only charged us for the time it took to diagnose and not a full hour of time. Will be back!

My daughter was stranded in Ellensburg 2500 miles from home with a barely running Ford Fusion. I always use NAPA service centers when possible so I contacted Seth Motors and explained the situation with Justin. He was very nice and reassuring that he would do his best to take care of her and get her back on the road, just what a worrying Dad needed to hear. She arrived there first thing on a Monday morning and he got her in immediately, located the needed part (throttle body assembly) and had her back on the road in about 2 hours at a very reasonable price. We heard about Seth’s Auto from the CWU parent Facebook page. It was frequently recommended. Our daughter is a student at CWU and had her catalytic converter stolen. Seth’s auto got her car looked out right away and we were given an estimate in a timely manner. The communication was consistent and frequent which was so appreciated. We appreciated their knowledge, quality work, helpfulness, patience in waiting for insurance, integrity, and hard work in getting her car fixed as soon as possible. My fathers wheelchair lift didnt work. Not Seths specialty but diagnosised the problem and fixed at no charge. I would recommend them to anyone. 10 🤩

Diagnosed problem, quoted to fix, ordered parts, fixed problem. I was quoted around $750 and it ended up being just over $1,000 due to unforeseen complexities, but I trust them and I feel they were honest throughout the whole deal. Most importantly, everything works well again.

Seth Motors repaired worn window washer fluid tubing and rerouted the tubing to ensure the issue wouldnt reoccur.

I was able to limp my vehicle in to Seth Motors, the transfer case on my Escalade blew apart. Seth motors was able to locate a transfer case and get me back on the road with in the week. They did an amazing job, and the price was affordable. I highly recommend Seth motors and wish they were closer to Spokane.

They did a good job on replacing my Pathfinders alternator. Everyone else was ether too busy to get to it within the week or wouldnt take the job at all because it was just to complicated.

I knew what was wrong with my vehicle. They insisted on doing a diagnostic any way. Ended up paying more than necessary. I told them repeatedly what the problem was and they argued. I paid an extra $120 so they could tell me what I already knew. Giving two stars cause they did the job. Would not recommend.

Staff is nice, and the quality of work is good. Shop is a bit smaller so takes a bit longer to get a car looked at or fixed but affect the quality of work.

I regret taking it in. I brought it in for a front end alignment. They did not do front end alignment. Said tie rods and ball joint needed replacement. I did not bring it in for an estimate of repairs needed! The staff knew it was my old farm truck, not a daily driver. I think $60.00 was charging too much for finding wear on a 32 year old truck. I think $25.00 or no charge at all would of been reasonable.

Great experience with Seth Motors after being referred to them by a local business owner! I’ve encountered numerous sleazy mechanics who tried to overcharged or take advantage because they thought I didn’t know any better, but Seth Motors was very honest, respectful, and professional. It’s a college town and I highly recommend them to students who are new in town—especially WOMEN—who want to be treated fairly. Good service, good price, good people.

Ive used Seths several times and Ive never been disappointed.This time it was a MAJOR repair, and Chad went above and beyond to find parts for my vehicle and get it fixed at a great price.Could have been much, much, more expensive.Theyre very busy, so you have to wait your turn but I find it worth it. They did great work on my car and were very nice! They didnt do any work until they gave me a quote and let me know what was wrong with my car, they got it done faster than expected even though they were very busy, and it ended up being less than the original quote! A couple days later I asked if he could look at my other car. There didnt seem to be anything really wrong with it luckily, but I really appreciate him taking the time to check it and did it for free! Will be coming back if I have any other issues with my cars!

Awesome experience!! I went in thinking I needed to replace water pump or something in my power steering to find out it was just my power steering belt and he changed it out in the parking lot! He didnt even have the belt on hand, he had it delivered on the spot and it took maybe 20mins tops cuz I had to go in shift in 40mins. I wasnt late! I will definitely go to them again :) oh and I felt he spoke to me like a normal person like an equal no gender BS oh man Im a happy woman! Thanks guys!!

Very professional and outstanding service!

I had my daughter’s car towed in at night from Quincey after she broke down there on I-90. Chad phoned me early the next morning to ask me a few questions to help him with his diagnosis on the car. Justin phones me a few hours later with an estimate. I told Justin I wanted to run his estimate across my personal mechanic in Tacoma to make sure I wasn’t getting a bad deal. Justin said of course and even sent me an email that I could discuss with my mechanic. The estimate was solid and very fairly priced, according to my mechanic.I gave Justin the thumbs up to repair the car and it was done exactly when he promised me it would be finished.I am glad honest shops are still around and I will gladly do work with Seth Motors again if I ever have the need. I give them my highest recommendation!!

Chad is very good at discussing our vehicle diagnosis and repairs. He has always been fair. I trust him completely with my vehicle repairs.

I took my truck in for an inspection last week and everything seemed it was going well. When they sent me the quote for everything that they wanted to do they quoted me 2 grand for tie rod and upper assembly replacement. 2 grand! I called the les schwab for a quote for the exact same things they charged me 790 for everything labor and tax included, 200 dollars less than Seth motors was charging for labor alone. After this I sent the quote sheet to my grandfather who owns an auto shop and informed there absolutely 0 reason to be charging 2 grand for the problems they brought up. Additionally a few years ago my father took his truck in to replace his transmission, thousands of dollars later and they couldn’t even put his exhaust back on properly. I would not recommend this shop, stick to the corporate companies at least they can’t scam you out of a couple grand like these people.

Very pleased with my experience here. I took my car for an inspection and they gave me a list of the needed maintenance which was a very reasonable price and they did an oil change. Its so nice to go to a repair shop and feel right away they want to do a great job and take care of the customer.

The engine on our Ford Fiesta was leaking oil and we replace it. Seths found us a replacement engine with low miles and had us back up and running in a week, and it runs great. Price was reasonable, highly recommend.

These guys are GREAT!! I had a very unfortunate breakdown, driving my pickup home to Idaho from Tacoma on New Years Eve. I got a hold of the guys at Seth Motors and they helped me arrange getting my truck to them (even though they were closing because of the holiday).The repair I needed was going to be an expensive one (engine ECU failure) but these guys got me back on the road for a fraction of what it would have cost at a dealer (or most other shops - I checked). Only one thing: after replacing my dashboard instrument cluster the oil pressure reading is at the vey top. I stopped by my oil changer a couple of days after to check on the issue and the oil level is fine. They think it might be a sensor. It would have been nice for you guys to check because now Ill need to bring it back. Other than that Im very pleased with the service. Thank you.

I had my car towed to Seth Motors on a Sunday afternoon after a break down near Snoqualmie Pass. They were able to work on my car first thing Monday morning and had us back on the road by 11:00 am. Staff were friendly, did great work, and repairs were reasonably priced. Wish I lived closer as I would be a return customer!!

Outstanding service! Threw two lifters and totally destroyed my engine. Took it to a local dealership but they were more concerned with selling me a new truck than highlighting reasons why a new engine would be best hence the two sales calls and one text to my phone about selling me a new truck...FYI... I only had one more payment on the truck until it was paid off. I decided to get a second opinion and took it to Seth Motors. Justin took a look and found additional problems with the engine on top of the other issue the dealership never identified and explained the pros and cons between a new truck vs. a new engine. No pressure, didnt try to upsell me anything, just straight forward told me the facts and let me make the decision. Needless to say, I opted for a new engine as I love my truck! They gave me a quote, and the work came in exactly where they said it would. They had the new engine ordered and installed within a week and I was back on the road. Bottom line.... These guys are great! Definitely going to use them again for any future mechanic work.

Then, on an older truck, I asked them to check and repair a radiator fan that wasnt working. This was on an installation that someone else did. Seth found and fixed the issue in an hour. Another mechanic in town wouldnt touch the job. Knowledgable, friendly, honest, great work. What else do you need?!

The folks at Seth Motors have been great to work with. I have had two vehicles serviced here and the work has been excellent and never above the estimate. And when I thought I would have to cancel a scheduled appointment due to lack of transportation, they provided me with a loaner car. Really, the only thing missing is bad coffee.

We do not know anybody at Seth Motors personally - We are Los Angeles transplants. Nevertheless, Seth has taken great care of our cars, and our kids cars too. We even consult with Seth Motors before we buy new cars and consider Seth to be our family mechanic.
