I wish I could give this place zero stars. I pulled up to the drive through expecting efficient service to get my prescription. Several employees walked by the window, saw me and just walked away. SEVERAL employees noticed me sitting there yet did nothing. Finally after 10 minutes of being ignored, I had to press the call button to get service and even then when I was helped, the woman was very rude and didnt seem to care much about helping any customers. I WILL NOT be wasting my time here again.
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!!!!! SHOULD BE NO STARS!!!!!!!WAITED FOR OVR 40 MIN TO SEE IF THEY HAD A TYPE OF MEDICATION IN STOCK. SOMEONE ANSWERED AT THE 13 MINUTE MARK AND SAID CAN YOU PLEASE HOLD AND IMMEDIATELY PUT ME BACK ON HOLD WITHOUT ME GETTING TO SAY ANYTHING!!!!! HUNG UP AFTER 40 MINUTES. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! THESE OTHER REVIEWS COULDNT BE MORE ACCUARATE!!!!!
Ordered a Same Day CVS Photo (Photo Wall Tile) online, prepaid, and received an email saying its ready for pickup. Went to the store, but told they didnt have one, so either wait for another day or order again online to pick up from a different store. I needed it right away, so I got a refund instead. The interaction was very unpleasant and felt unwelcome. To me it was clearly their fault, but they didnt seem feel sorry at all and kept being rude. Ill never visit this branch again.
Worst customer service ever. I am no longer listing this pharmacy on my doctors despite this location being 5 minutes away from my neighborhood…I would rather drive an hour to go somewhere else with people who actually care about you and provide the customer service that you need especially when you’re in a hurry because you need the medicine… very disappointed. One thing they were good at was to question myself if I’m invisible.
Absolutely disrespectful and horrible experience at this branch when picking up meds for mom. Prescriptions were supposed to be ready by 4PM, but it was not and just told to wait without explanation of estimated time. Ended up waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes and throughout the entire wait, there is no sense of urgency or need to provide updates. They do not feel bad for you at all for waiting that long. Do not go to this branch.
I am not currently in the store. I just want to say, I cannot believe this store has gotten such horrible reviews. I have shopped there for many years and find the current staff great. Always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Daniel, in the pharmacy, is wonderful. I have always had a good experiment with all of the pharmacists. The staff in the store have always been helpful and keep the shelves stocked and the store clean. However, since Covid, looks like staffing is very short. I understand this is an aberration in the typical functioning of the store. If I had not shopped there for years, I might not be very impressed by their service. But you can see they are understaffed, but there is uncontrollable reason why there are not as many people working. Since I appreciate the difficulty Covid has made for retail, I feel they are doing the best they can.
Usually very busy. But the staff is very nice and knowledgeable. They also will go out of their way to helop you, so its worth the wait.
Super rude pharmacy employee. (Unfortunately I couldn’t see her name but the one that wears her mask !!!UNDER HER NOSE!!!) Calling to check if my order is ready to pick up and they confirm but never tells you they are closing earlier because of Labor Day. When we arrived, they were still there and one of them with her mask under her nose screaming we are closed. I understand people don’t want to work on holidays but at least they could’ve told us your order is ready but we are closing in 15 min. Definetely changing my location...
Just in CVS and they still require face coverings. Even Though they said on the news you dont have to if fully vaccinated. I think its sad and their gutless!!
By far the worst CVS I have been to across multiple states on multiple occasions! My family has gone here for years and we are all transferring to different pharmacies! I spent 45 minutes on hold when I arrived at the location no cars are in the drive though and no one at the counter. You cant even hear the phone ringing as I am on the phone with them! I promptly left and called my doctor to send my prescription elsewhere. This is my final straw! You get better service at a Walmart could probably have better customer service on back alley way.
Holy smokes, customer service can’t get any worse than this CVS location. Not confidence inspiring when I’m asked my DOB literally 8 (!!!!) times ... and they still get it wrong.Salty, rude attitudes when I was very calm and quiet. Why only ONE pharmacy tech at a very busy location, and after normal work hours for most customers? I was there at 5PM.I used to work customer service so I know how things can get ... but rude, inattentive service is NEVER acceptable. There are other pharmacies out there.
Most of the CVS Pharmacy staff in this location are not friendly except one lady who was very helpful. I never called this CVS branch and felt satisfied.
Every time I go I had to spend a long time to get my Prescription, no experience and no enough employees. The delivery system also has a terrible issues. I highly recommend don’t go there, you will wast your time
I will start off by saying the pharmacist do a very good job and are very responsive however trying to pick up my prescriptions is a miserable experience the drive-through is a 15+ minute wait and inside the store isn’t much better
The worst CVS in all of Northern Virginia! Long lines, rude, confused, & un-educated Pill Fillers! They will be shut down soon. Had to pick 1 star to post..
My doctor has called in my prescription 3 times and they have yet to fill it. They say they’re waiting for her to fax back the order. She CALLED the order in. Get your business right. I’ve been out of meds for a week. Looking for a new pharmacy tomorrow. That’s a shame since I’ve been going there for over 10 years. Poor place to get your meds. Look elsewhere.
Awful customer service by the drive thru 😶 Never going back to this branch. Shouldve checked their rating before making an appointment
I got tested for COVID-19 (Tested Negative) at 9:30am. I went to the drive-thru. The person working the drive thru was very nice and provided me with instructions on how to perform the COVID-19 test by myself. Afterwards, I dropped off the bag with my nasal swab inside the white bin. After making my MyChart account for CVS, I ended up getting my result online within 2.5 days (Average wait time is 2-3 days). Overall, they did a very good job.Improvements: When getting tested for COVID-19, they should have a signage that tells you that the COVID-19 test is by drive-thru because some people may thing that the test is curbside. Another suggestion is to warn people that they should check themselves on the test results online. I’m saying this because CVS says they’ll email you when the results are ready, but I ended up finding out by checking myself.Overall, I’m very happy with how they did, and I’m looking forward to getting tested by CVS if needed!
While I like that they have a drive thru, its probably a half hour wait every time. I havent had issues with staff though and they usually do an ok job.
I wish I could less than 1 star. I was at the pharmacy waiting first in line for more than 20 mintues with a long line behind me just waiting to pick up my prescription. There were 3 pharm techs and the pharamist behind the counter and not once did they address me or make eye contact to tell me it would just be a moment. They were very unprofessional and needless to say I will be changing my pharmacy immediately. Not to mention there was a man walking around without a mask on talking to himself, obviously having a mental health crisis, which they did nothing about and just continued to let him walk around thr store.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. The worst CVS pharmacy in life.
I wish I could give this place less than zero stars. Awful experience and the worst, most incompetent pharmacists ever. Stay away.
I went to this pharmacy to take my mom medicine. She did not have insurance and the price was over $800 for only two battles of bills. I was shocked!!!!! I asked if there is another way to get it with lower price they said no. I went again to double check is the price real in a different day? They gave the same price. Then, I went back to the doctor and asked her to give another medicine because of the price and she couldn’t believe it. I went to costco and bought I paid only $62 including tax! They called me to remind me to pick it up. After a long discussion she said I can give you a coupon and the cost for one medicine is $50. I can’t believe what was going on!!My mom did not have a very important medicine for about a week because of them. I will never be a customer or one of my family in cvs!!!!!!!!!!
They lost the refill prescription they suggested I drop off last month, and their first move is to try to convince me that I never dropped it off. They acknowledge that do lose prescriptions, and have no plan in place on how to deal with it other than waste the customers time with their flat out incompetence. I am day 3 of them still not figuring it out, and the huge issue for me is that the meds that I need are not allowed to be re-prescribed. Also, the fact that google maps has CVS Photo that blocks you from seeing that this pharmacy has a 3 star rating, is absolutely shady AF. If you are seeing this, go anywhere else.
Waited 25 min on hold for pharmacist before giving up to call another location that assisted me in 2 min
This has been our pharmacy for years. We can now walk there so it never dawned on me to switch until recently. The customer service in the pharmacy has declined and they never seem to answer the phone. I was on endless hold 2 days ago so decided just to go in and ask my question expecting a huge line. There was one person ahead of me. It takes less than 5 minutes for me to drive there. I could walk in 15. My son’s doctor had to phone in an order twice. I’ve never had this much trouble with this pharmacy until recently. I’m wondering what has changed. Based on the other reviews I think this decline is not just my imagination. I’d rather drive further than deal with this nonsense!
Jawad and Arina provided really customer service. Glad to see such associates.
This pharmacy is a disaster.- insane wait times- don’t answer phone calls- don’t attend to drive thru- disorganized (there are bags of prescriptions everywhere that are not sorted so it sometimes takes forever for them to locate your order)- not enough staff- no sense of urgency
Always a long line for theprescription drive-thru
Waiting more than an hour just for a refill. They claim theyre understaffed ... staff the f up for Gods sake!
Asked the staff to take my passport photo. She hold the camera soooo closed to my face that the lens almost touched my nose. Also the most flimsy camera you could evere imagine. Worst photo ever! Cant use them.
Was on hold for 33 mins and have been waiting for my prescription for over an hour 1/2 - ridiculous
I don’t understand why there’s never enough to staff. With phones, drive through and in person you need more than two persons at a busy location. I’ve been waiting over an hour to get someone to help me. Switching pharmacies
The store needs to improve a better customer service..just want to do passport service with a different background ....employee can’t help me......I ask if she know to transfer my pictures to the USB she said can not help me . Todays date is 07/23/19 time 10:50 am my next visit hopefully will be better than today.
This cvs NEVER has anything in stock. I always have to end up going to Willard way CVS which is honestly where I will be going from here on out . They have much friendlier staff and they always have prescriptions ready. The pharmacist told me they didn’t have my prescription in stock but it’s at Willard way. Got to Willard way she never sent anything over, they aren’t answering there phones and she never gave me the paper back for the prescription the doctor wrote me. Avoid this location at all cost you’ll be waiting forever just to get sent somewhere else
Do you need your important medication filled out within a reasonable time period? dont come here!Quite horrible. Theyve told me on multiple occasions to come back tomorrow, we dont have enough of your medication... only for me to come three days in a row for them to tell me the same thing. I have health issues that depend on me taking my medication daily so this has been a struggle... switching pharmacies. Also the drive through his always out of order. The rest of the store is fine, horrible pharmacy.
Gave them 3 stars due to bathroom. Otherwise it is a typical CVS....somewhat rundown but supplying everything you need. Limited interaction with staff but seemed friendly. Access was easier than anticipated considering it is at the busy intersection of 50 and 236 in Fairfax.
Went here because my daughter was sick and I was picking up medicine. I was shocked!!! Her medicine from kids Motrin, kids zarbees, baby Vick’s and Vick’s humidifier accessories were at a 100% markup! What a crock!!! I went to Walmart I spent 50% less. Shocked CVS would take advantage of people like this... smh... can’t wait until you all close your doors for good!!!
I had put in the a Rx to the CVS on 11003 Lee Hwy, Fairfax, VA 22030 a week ago for medication for my ADD. I was told by the very uninterested pharmacist that they were out of my medication and they would order it and it would be ready last Weds 1/22. I called on 1/22 to check the status and was rudely informed the order was never put through and it would take till 1/28 to get. I am extremely angry and have suffered performance loss at my job because of the ineptitude at this CVS. I am not confident the medication will be ready tomorrow. I need someone to check in with them and make sure I will get my medication as its been a WEEK since I brought it in.
This is my neighborhood CVS pharmacy, and its a good store. I fill all my prescriptions here, and the pharmacists know me, as do many of the store employees, who are courteous. On several occasions, the pharmacist has gone out of her way to help me, making phone calls to doctors for me. And the drive-through is awesome. Nothing wrong with the store. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because sometimes I think CVS prices on non-prescription items is a little too pricey. If you need milk or eggs, walk across the parking lot and pick them up at Aldi.
Slowest drive through ever.
The major appeal of this pharmacy is the drive-thru, and if your prescriptions are simple and straightforward, I think theyre fine. If the prescription has the least bit of a complication, they are awful, and thats what really matters in a pharmacy for my family, hence the one star. For example, if you call to check on the status of your prescription, expect to get one message from someone, then an entirely different message when you show up to get your prescription. In a difficult time, this staff was impersonal, spread too thin, and unapologetic. Theyre just going through the motions, trying to make it to the end of their shift so they can pass the buck on to someone else. They dont seem to really care.
Waited for 50 mins in store for the prescription dropped off 4hrs ago. Thought it would take less time to drop off and wait.
So today my fiance dropped of her prescriptions to be filled, there were 5 of them. The tech on duty who was new took them to the pharmacist to have them checked. The pharmacist looked at the prescriptions andsaid that she could pick them up at 4pm. So she returned to the store at 4:30 to pick up her order, and was confronted bysome of the worst customer service possible. So the pharmacist was not wearing a name badge so I can not give a name.I can tell you this occurred at 4:45 12/31/2015. So the incident started off with the pharmacist telling my fiance thatcontrolled substances have to be filled within 6 months of the prescription being written. So at no point was a call made totell us of the situation, she herself had looked at the prescription and said it would be ready at 4pm. So the disturbing partwas when she (the pharmacist) stated that she never looked at the prescription, when the tech walked the order over to her, showed her the order and she was the one who said by 4. Then she found out that my fiance was a nurse and told her she shouldknow these things and know not to argue. Well she actually screamed this across the counter at my fiance. It turns out thatthere was a current prescription attached to the older one. Then she told my fiance to bring the prescription back tomorrow, which of course you are closed. Then the pharmacist screams Thats your problem. in this case my fiance is in no danger ofrunning out of a prescription that she needs. We were trying to fill the prescriptions before the end of the fiscal year, before we had to pay out of pocket for them. I also realize that we waited until the last minute. Still this was some ofthe worst customer service that I have seen. In addition when my fiance asked to speak with a manager the pharmacist pointedto a picture and said that is what the manage looks like. So I have worked many years in sales (8 years), and quite a few ofthose as a manager. I have difficult customers ad I have had difficult days. I have never seen fit to treat a customer this way.
The cashier named Nikeya is extremely rude. She even doesn’t know what is courtesy. She has to be trained customer service.
Worst ever. I ordered a refill online. Called in way ahead to make sure they got it since I rushing to leave the country the next day. Showed up - no prescription. Stood there and waited, clerk looked it up, starts saying out loud my Rx details. I get angry and tell him thats a HIPPA violation, his response? No one could hear him. No apology, no concern, never rushed. It took about 30 min. I will never be back and will probably not be using CVS anymore since Ive had issues with multiple stores. This one was by far the worst though.
Well when you need to use a drive thru pharmacy its probably because you have a sick kid. So please explain to me why you would want to wait an hour for the drive-through or alternatively bring your sick kid in and out of the car several times in order to return to the drive-through. But if I get all of my children out of the car (including the sleeping sick child) and go wait inside I might might get my prescription in 15 to 20 minutes but you know theres only two people working so they cant rush things. Guess Ill get back in the car when they text me to tell me its ready
Very bad
Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE! I ALWAYS have horrible experiences here. Either their rude pharmacy staff disrespects me or their service through the phone is unable to connect me. Life or death I needed my medicine filled and some Asian lady answered, put me on hold without asking me or listening to me, then put me on hold for 10 minutes, answered and put me back on hold and never picked up. I absolutely hate this place! They take no action on hiring people-friendly staff. I hope they go out of business for their lack of respect.
Do not go to this pharmacy.
This pharmacy is a place I cant trust to fill prescription or anything, even for the simplest medication: after texting me that my medication was ready, in the store they told me it was sent to CVS in Vienna, where I never put foot! and other complication starting with this mistake; only solution is to change pharmacy
CVS ruined my fathers day gifts. I ordered several 5x7 photos, but received 6x8 photos whose subjects faces had been cropped through. I asked for a reprint on the correct size; the store supervisor told me that CVS doesnt carry 5x7 photo paper. I asked for a reprint on the same size, but without the terrible cropping; I was told that the cropping was automatic and uncontrollable. I asked for a reprint on 4x6 paper, and was simply told no with no explanation. The only solution the store supervisor offered me was a refund, with the explanation we dont actually sell what you ordered.CVS falsely advertises photo sizes, and will resize your photographs without warning and in apparently unpredictable ways. Please take your business elsewhere.
I think the employees here might be stressed or undervalued. Their performance is very poor and theyre not giving good customer service at all.
Avoid this place. They are short staffed, one of the employees, Senait is very rude. They told me my prescription was ready for pick up, I got there and it was out of stock. There’s ALWAYS a line of ppl waiting at drive up and walk up and usually only 2ppl working.
This is the most unorganized slow paced unprofessional pharmacy I have ever been in! Every time I am trying to fill a prescription there is an issue. Understaffed and rude!
The employees are nice but this location is understaffed and undertrained so wait times are really long.
Avoid this place.
Not just short-staffed with long wait times as everyone mentioned, but countless products in the store are expired, from drinks to food to OTC medication.
Great as a pharmacy crappy as a store. Prices are really on day to day items
Waited over 15 min at the driver thru...
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPEREINCE EVER!!...... The manager of that store itself isnt nice and his name is Johnny. Very rude. Never every shopping there AGAIN!
Recently purchased mucinex from over the counter just to find out at that it expired 6/17 extremely disappointed.
Long wait to speak with the pharmacist, cashiers are understaffed, and the pharmacy never seems to have the drugs I need when I try to get my prescriptions refilled (Ive been told twice that they just ran out).
Not open at their hours
Great
Worst customer services --- waited for 3 hours to get my antibiotics. Never have I ever seen a CVS like this one in my whole life... CVS should either provide good services in this store or close it..
This place is the worst. I work for a prescriber and something as simple as calling a medication in for a client takes forever because the staff will literally hang up on us. DO NOT GO HERE
The worst customer services in this CVS store. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ! The pharmacist was asking me to go find my prescription like are you serious sir that’s not my job ! And he was RUDE too. This place needs to hire professionals, So that they don’t defame CVS.
