I gave a one star due to the fact that we recently switched from another carrier to y’all in July & are still waiting on our credits from our old phones being traded in. It’s now mid October & still nothing. We’ve been to the store countless times & on the phone countless times with no answers basically. I’ve tried to call the actual number to the Fenton location and it sends me to the Verizon customer service line. They’re needing a submission number for one of the phones that were traded in & cannot find it. How do we actually get through to the main store in Fenton, not the Verizon customer service line??? I just tried to call the store, because we need to talk to Rachel & find this submission number & where the other phone is that was turned in!! This should’ve already been said & done with!! While my mom is on the phone with Verizon customer service I tried to call the actual store & cannot get through, why? We need to find this phone & submission number so we need to talk to Rachel! Thank You!!
If you have the option to go to any other store Id recommend that. Staff is probably held hostage over commission and they arent any help either. Best Buy has better service for this carrier.
Horrible Customer Service. My fiance and I had an appointment for 11am. When we checked in at 10:50am they said it would be about 10 mins after 11 as their appointment employee was coming in then. Well we sat in the car for an hour (he said they’d call us), no big deal because we understand theyre busy. When my fiance went in at 12, the same gentleman that said it would be 10 min after 11 didnt remember we had an appointment. He then told us oh we dont handle account transfers here. My fiance didnt mention that was what we were there for, it was in our appointment notes. So why wasnt this stated when we arrived at 10:50 am? Were patient people, but this was ridiculous and were not too happy. If you visit the website, this seems to be a common issue for reviews. They handed us a sheet of paper for phone numbers to call after waiting 1+ hour. Wont go back to this store seeing as this is a repeated pattern.
It was about that time for my wife and I to upgrade our phones yesterday afternoon. She was upgrading from an older iPhone and I was going from an old Android to an iPhone as well. We both got the new 12 Pro. We also went from 8gigs to their unlimited plan with one phone being able to act as a mobile hotspot.So, clearly we were spending more money on our new setups, which in turn was making the manager of the store happy. All I asked was for her to be honest and tell us all of the hidden fees / surcharges that we would be charged so we could get an accurate idea of what the monthly bill would be *before* we finalized our purchases, and anything else we should know.She did go over what our bill would look like. She neglected to mention a bunch of one time fees that showed up on the My Verizon app when we got home, however. She also neglected to tell us that our new phones did not come with the wall plug adapter for charging. So after transferring all of our stuff from our old phones to our new ones (which was a pain to do from my Android), we then realized that we couldnt even charge our new phones! When we Googled it, it said that we each had to pay a separate $20 per phone for that adapter. This employee was a manager apparently of multiple stores, as she for whatever reason had to bring up her stores in Saginaw and wherever else. I wonder if she lies to the customers in those stores too?The Verizon employees are dishonest, and by that I mean that they are not forthcoming with information that may lead to a customer backing out of a purchase. They are shady people.I do not look forward to returning to that store in Fenton today to get what I need to charge our phones.
Extremely disappointed with the manager Jessie. A visit with him was disgustingly rude. Jessie you need to find a new job. After reading all other reviews for this store, I don’t know why I’m surprised. As a manger, you should be the most understanding person in that building. You will be losing our service.
I want to leave a special thanks to Rachel, who sat with me patiently and listened to my issues, my needs and wants before putting together multiple options to help me.After a move, I found myself in a hole of internet providers, paying $$$$ for service that didnt work 90% of the time.Thanks to a few modifications to my account and wifi hub, my wife and I are not only back on the internet but actually able to stream as well.Thank you again Rachel, youre the hero in my tale!

Arbitrary hours are posted on the window in a homemade calendar. Some days they open at 10am and some days at 11am. What retail store opens at 11am?? Short staffed? The Manager or owner should be there at 10am to open up every day.
It is May 2021 and they are still acting like the virus just started. There were two sales reps and one or two customers in the store and they wouldnt let any more in. So I had driven 30 minutes and they wouldnt let me in the door. I went to Walmart and saved a ton of money both on the phone and the service. Should have just started there I guess.
Literally dumbest experience. The guy literally did not know what he was talking about. It’s sad.
The absolute worst.......very smug, wouldnt touch the phone, answers to question were short and absence of any real information.....they wouldnt give me anything for the old phone.....walked out......went over to ATT just down the road, very friendly, didnt require a Mask, the guy was very helpful and they gave $350 for my phone.....so I went from a Verizon customer to a ATT customer in 40 minutes walked out with a new Samsung S 21 Ultra....
They keep whatever kind of random hours they want; dont go by the hours listed on google. Sometimes they are randomly closed all day Sundays, etc.
I was shocked and appalled that this store, Owen rd in Fenton, is a “corporate store”; if you think for one second that title of corporate store means anything to you the consumer, you should....... it means you will be given the Verizon Support Contacts, piece of paper, they will circle one of the phone numbers, and you will be sent on your way...... NEVER to even enter the store!!!! On my third try, I finally got into the store only to be treated like I was a bother, the young blonde(25-34), was so condescending and witchy it became very apparent that this STORE FRONT is exactly that.......... a front for these people to get a paycheck from Verizon!!! Keep people out of the store, hand out the piece of paper with the Verizon supports, and know as little as possible!!!! The whole staff of 3, were just standing around not even trying to help me get help!!!!!!I WENT TO THE HOWELL LOCATION ON GRAND RIVER by Latson Rd (Tri Amigos plaza). AMAZING!! 10 minutes, got all my contacts back, my pics, my apps.!!!!! If you need and want results ~~. Verizon in Howell G.R. and Latson, SEAN BE THE BOMB!!!!!!!
I wanted to leave a review for Rachell R at the Fenton, MI store! She was so kind sweet helpful and AMAZING!! She not only helped me with making changes to my plan to save me money but she helped me move the content to my new phone which Im always a wreck about doing!! Her customer service went above and beyond!! Not only does she do her job well but she gives a personal and positive experience! I will ONLY deal with her from here on out!! Thank you Rachell!!

The lady that helped me in there asked if I wanted the insurance on my phone I simply said no 3 times Come to find out she put it on my plan anyways.
One star is being generous but I cant give zero. My mother in law just got a new phone and it does not work. I tried calling tech support but they told me I had to go to a store. I went to the store and the manager came out to assist me. While I was trying to explain the issue he cut me off and told me I had to call to get it fixed. When I tried to explain that I already called he cut me off again. Then every time I tried to explain he cut me off and told me I was being disrespectful and he didnt need to show me any respect. After trying multiple times to explain the situation and get help he never let me speak. He finally walked into the store and locked the door. Being I had no other option, I called customer support again. This time, I talked to someone that was able to explain what needed to be done. the issue still isnt fixed but at least now I know what needs to be done to fix it. Thats all Kyle needed to do instead of picking a fight with a customer.
I understand that it is weird times but common sense would tell you that if someone is waiting outside in the cold for 10 minutes a team member should come out and sign them in and let us know when to come back. Unfortunately there is lack of common sense in this world.
So I understand during this time businesses are operating different. They are open for emergencies only, I had 2 non working phones on my account.....I guess that isnt an emergency. I left and went to the Davisburg Verizon store and got great service!!! I wont be going back to this location after years of of coming here.
If I could give this location a zero I would. GALEN was especially unhelpful. There were no associates in this store able to help me whatsoever. So unhappy with Verizon all together they wouldn’t even help me CANCEL their service because of how terrible they were. Never coming back here again
Showed up at 10:15 am because a Verizon rep on the phone and Google states that they open at 10:00 am. Door is locked with a paper on the door stating that they dont open until 11:00 am.
They were extremely rude and wouldn’t help me since my 2 phones I bought from them I got off there website and they didn’t like it and refused to be any help
I agree with the last post. The customer service is appalling. This “touch free” transfer of data/upgrades is ludicrous and obviously NOT working!! After sitting in the Fenton store for over 2 hours...I’m not sure doing what...I was sent home with my new phone (yes the 11 pro and a bag of accessories) I was assured repeatedly that the “transfer of data and activation” of my existing phone to my new phone would be seamless . After investing 2 hours in the store and another hour at home... I STILL DO NOT HAVE AN ACTIVATED PHONE!! What EXACTLY were we doing in the store?! 😡. They gave me numbers for tech support : the 1st is NOT operational and rings busy- the 2nd is closed after 5. When did I leave the store ?? After 5 of course. So Verizon...pay attention . Put on some gloves - sanitize your customers phones and GET IT DONE while we are there! That’s why we pay exorbitant fees so that hopefully we get customer service.
Great location and excellent service. Clayton was super helpful and it was the quickest Ive ever been in and out of switching over cell service. Everyone was friendly and helpful!

This has to be the worst Verizon store I have ever dealt with. I never leave reviews but Im going to this time. Bought a new phone online. They gave me wrong phone went back to tell them they said it was back ordered and to take the one they gave me. I took it to work tried to program but a trouble code kept coming up I then called Verizon and they said it must not have sim card and to go back to store for them to fix it. I went back to store got in line outside the store and a man came out and asked me if I had an appointment. I said no and he said he couldnt help me I then told him about the sim card issue he said to stop talking. I just bought it an hour ago and just wanted a little help he them through a piece of paper at me and told me to call the same number that told me about sim card. I have 5 phone on the unlimited account and have been with Verizon for 10 years. At all cost go to any other store besides the Fenton store on Owen road. The one on Leroy is great. I wish I could leave a zero for this store. I have never seen a Verizon store with so many bad reviews. Get some new employees.
Clayton is phenomenal! The 1st visit I had was inquiring about my daughters phone glitching..Clayton had a New phone delivered the next day! 2nd visit my daughter got a new phone. The store was very busy & Clayton& other associates acknowledged other customers!!! Clayton made sure my daughters new phone was set up..where most places I have experienced would leave us to help others because they are trying to make sales..Clayton impressed me because he showed that our needs & wants were just as important as anyone elses. He made sure we were completely taken care of thoroughly with no pending questions. . I am very Impressed!.I am..& have been in customer service for over 20yrs& this store is the Best!!! The worst experience Ive ever had. They promised me with discounts that never got applied and now they are saying they never mentioned them... LIARS!!! Including the Regional Manager himself!!! Go to a different store! Be Aware! Be Aware!

Good store. They try there best to keep things moving and be helpful with your phone especially if there is an issue. One staff member is a little So-so in my opinion but they have fast turnaround when it comes to there staff so Im sure he wont be there next time I need a phone.
Clayton was super helpful while we were there the second time. The first time we went, the man we spoke to was very rude but the second guy was so nice it made up for first guy.
Friendly customer service staff. They immediately greeted us and helped us get in the queue. The Tech assigned to our case (where we needed a unique SIM card for a new phone) was very friendly and asked us a lot about our lives with genuine interest. The other customers that I observed were treated with respect, too: one guy (in particular) was none too pleased that his new phone was on the fritz. They listened and quickly responded to his requests. Go, Fenton Verizon!
It was way to busy,we waited at least a hour for something that took less than 5 minutes,we were there at approximately 11:00 AM on a Friday, the place was packed when we arrived there were 3 employees to take care of at least 10 people,no one greeted us at the door we just walked in & sat down,are experience at the Silver Parkway location was always a pleasant one.I must say when we did get attended to the service was excellent.
Helpful, friendly.Only thing I didnt like was the pushing of insurance for a delicate phone. (Galaxy S10 is glass on both sides)
Jeff who is the General Manager of this store is amazing and very helpful. I highly recommend him if you need a problem taken care of he is the one to ask. He went over and above and had my problem resolved. He is very patient, kind, and courteous and caring!
If you need to take care of your wireless issues, you are better off going to Flint, MI. They are much friendlier and are willing to help with whatever issue you re having with you devices.The folks at the Fenton, MI location are very rude and made me feel like I was a second class citizen. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE!

Was promised with $200 discount and ended up losing it because I switched my plans and apparently I was supposed to stick with the plan for 6 months but guess what, they switched the plan for me and never told me this would happen. TLDR: manager lied to me saying my old phone doesnt work, went to the store on Leroy and they get it working in 2 minutes.Went in to get a new sim card for an old phone after my phone went for a swim in the lake. I was told the wait was 1 hour, not a big deal. Over 2 hours later, the manager finally comes to get me a new sim card. After activating the sim and putting it in my phone, my phone says no sim detected. The manager thought that was odd so he brings my phone in the back to run some tests. Comes back 10 minutes later and says my phone no longer supports the new network, seemed weird but whatever. I try a sim card from my even older phone, and my phone is now trying to activate, it must be a miracle! I go to the non corporate store, tell them what happened and the activate another sim card, and what do you know? My phone is working. Moral of the story, dont waste your time here, go to the one on Leroy.

I love my Galaxy devices I receive from this store. However my review is to be seen by two points. One, the staff in this store are friendly and you shouldnt have problems with them attempting to help you the best that they can. The other point which is the negative is; no one have it be in the store or the company in general are on the same page. When communicating with various staff members and customer service, they all have their own thing to say. Everyone needs to be on the same page and give the same information.During the time of this review is the time of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall. Surely others can relate to the many different things they are being told by Verizon with how to handle their exchanges. Not one employee will tell you the same thing as the next employee standing next to the other, let alone the company in general.

I know theyre trying to move service to internet, but late hours are still a pain. The screen savers they sell are a SCAM. Still nice people working here, but appears to be high turnover, assuming because of the shady nature of the business.
Ive had several good experiences with this location and their staff. While they cant change corporates policies that are sometimes lousy, the staff and manager (Jeff) have helped remedy several situations.
Not real happy with Verizon. If I didnt need them to be able to make calls where my daughter is at, I would go back to Sprint.

Last Tuesday I brought my new phone and requested to transfer the data from the old but still active phone but the African American guy refused to help me. He said that they do not offer that service anymore which is not true at all. Today I had to go to Verizon store in Brighton and they helped me. Shame on Verizon store in Fenton.

I had a great experience with Kyle Mclullum. He was very professional and went far adove what he had too. Verizon is lucky to have him. It was great to have wxcexcell service and respect for me as a customer. Will come back.
I needed a phone but because I wasnt a big spender, the sales woman would not show me anything. It was bizarre. I ended up going to the store in Hartland (a franchise, not regular Verizon) and got fabulous service from the manager who offered to transfer my data. This woman said they wont transfer data. When I purchased my other phone at Fenton, there was a nice guy who was very service oriented. This woman was not busy, just leaning on the counter, unwilling to make a sale. Maybe they make commission. I wont go back there. She was rude, ambivalent, and clearly didnt care about my phone dilemma.
Horrible service. I just wanted to switch my old phone to a new one I just bought and I was on hold for 45 minutes then when they answered, they deactivated my phone and could not activate my other one and said there was nothing they could do. Now I have no active cell phone. Awful phone company. I am currently paying to not have a cell phone.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dawn at the Fenton Location and I couldnt have been any happier with the service that she provided. She was able to take care of everything that I asked of her. I just wanted to say Thank You again for everything that you helped me with.
This review isnt directed at this particular store, but at Verizon Wireless as a whole.Dont look to find any customer service representative over the phone. Its impossible. Automated messages just kept me going through a loop because I didnt have my account number. Even the Internet assistant is automated. Theyll give you various numbers to call, but all lead to pushing more buttons on your phone. So, Ill have to go to my nearest Verizon store to see if they can help me. I dont have my hopes up.
Asked about the free phone and the unlimited data plan. Free I-phone ended February 28th. We were in store a week ago and the lines were so long we left. Asked about the unlimited data plan. First person said it would be $110 more than we are currently being charged. Next person, Chris, said it would be $65 more but he couldnt explain why my bill would be higher and how the Verizon plan compared to the T-Mobile plan. I was surprised when he hung up on me. I guess Ill find another cellular company!

The people in this store or useless. Bought a piece of equipment, it was faulty, went back to cure the issue and couldnt get results. Called customer service myself, fixed before I pulled out of the lot. Why pretend to be customer service reps people, you shouldnt have this job. You are the reason my bill is too high, we shouldnt be paying your wages. I should have went to t-mobile, at least they have excuses.

Great service. After 2 hours at ATT canceling my new plan because service was unavailable where I live, Julie had my new Verizon plan up and running for my wife and I in less than 20 minutes and I saved about $30/month.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT VERIZON ON SILVER LAKE IN FENTON MICHIGAN. Ive been a loyal verizon customer for almost 20 years and have never felt so disrespected and treated so rude. I went in for a simple issue and the response I received was nope cant help you. The store general manager (Kisha Polanski) was not helpful, rude, disrespectful, and made it clear my business was not important. She knew I was waiting to talk to her and she even looked at me and decided to go in the back of the store for 5 minutes while keeping me waiting. Since my business isnt important I think its time to explore other wireless carriers. Thank for nothing Verizon Wireless Fenton.

Thay let me walk out the door with a ZTE Warp connect that was about to blow up, I brought it back to the store because it was all swelled up I had just bought it several weeks before, they told me there was nothing they could do because I didnt buy the extended warranty.
