They have nothing in stock. No help to anyone. And just rude. There has been only one person in there that was remotely nice or helpful.
My phone was on the fritz and I was really glad to find this store; however, I would have been happier if my phone had been completely fixed. The customer service person had no idea what to do. She took my phone to someone else who was able to solve part of my problem. I went to the Farragut, TN facility when I got home. It took about 5 minutes to open some windows, push some buttons and completely solve my problems.
You wait in line forever for service. Not going back again and about to change so sick of Verizon customer service and I have been a loyal customer for 30 years!

Not impressed with this store. We went to see what upgrades we had available and what our options were. We were told by the Solutions Manager to go online. If we wanted to go online we would have. We ended up going to the Verizon Store in Brainerd and had an amazing experience. Don’t waste your time going here.

Exceedingly disappointing customer service. I felt like I was hustled all through my experience of switching over. My questions were not answered. At one point, I was told dont worry about it. Im still unaware of what I signed. I was not told the terms of the contract, for how long it lasts, how much I will pay, when the bill is due or how to start auto pay. The manager, CHANCE, only got ruder and more abrupt when asked details. Also told me its like you want me to fix your phone for you. Yeah, thatd be nice to make calls and stuff. Did I mention I was the only one in the store and the other 5 employees were sitting around on their phones?Side note- Kisan was polite and more helpfulEmplyees only there to upsell you with plans or phonesI strongly encourage this branch to listen to the common theme in its reviews. Your customer service is abysmal!
The store personnel were great! Dylan went above expectations to straighten out a major problem with Bill. The problem was converting my husband’s business phone to my personal account when he retired. Thank you all for understanding and helping us old people.

USE A DIFFERENT CARRIER, not Verizon. This location has poor sales training, they use aggressive sales tactics, sign you up for things that you do not qualify for with your plan, and theN sign you up for insurance that you do not ask for. Then, when you call headquarters, they say that theres no proof because they arent present with their sales people at the time you signed up. They use repetitive words in their scripts: like transparent and what I CAN do is... Then they say theres nothing they can do for you, even headquarters!DO NOT GO HERE.

This place has been pretty ok in the past, but they were buried today with so many folks experiencing Googles Webview debacle, & the manager was doing a great job quickly getting folks phones operating again.
Three people ahead of me. Not really a problem. Except I got there when they first opened and i still had to wait 35 minutes.They were more workers than customers and the workers were just standing around.
Confusing and irritating experience. My wifes 10 day old phone was having issues and need an exchange. The employee tells her before they can do an exchange I need to be there. Ok fine. I was almost there when my wife called to tell me that the guy just checked and did not have the same model and to go online. This store is nothing but a headache. Go to other verizon stores or go online.
Very poor experience at the Fort Oglethorpe Verizon Store Saturday 05/30/2020. Sales associate Nathan was unable to exchange my defective headsets that were under warranty with a receipt and all original packaging. Nathan stated it was company policy that he couldnt exchange for another similar product and allow me to pay the difference since the model I had was not in stock. Nathan stated there was nothing he could do. I asked for a manager and Nathan said they did not currently have a manager. I asked for his business card and he said he did not have business cards. I asked for his name and he said Nathan, but would not provide his last name. After Nathan disappeared to the back without a thank you or have a good day the other associate stated that they were not aloud to give out last names. When I told him I worked at Verizon in the past he said I dont care!!! You dont work here now and a lot has changed! I agree, as our past team members would never treat customers that way and always found a solution for a positive resolution to ensure every experience was delightful and the customer was a promoter when they left the store. I hope you get a store manager at the Fort Oglethorpe, GA Verizon corporate store soon to ensure a better positive customer experience next time. That was always #1 when I worked in the wireless industry for 20 years. Also please order your associates business cards and allow them to give out last names. I love Verizon as a company and will not hold this one very negative in store experience change that. DONT GO HERE This location will scam you. Weve been scammed out of $400 for a phone that was supposed to be free when we added a line. Verizon says they cant fix it, and to go to the location. Ive gone back to this location, and they tell me to call in. Ive had nothing but problems since I added a line to my account. DONT GO HERE

Was in the area and was having trouble getting my email to show up on my phone. Hāli was available and was very knowledgeable assisting with recovering my emails. Just stopped in to pay my bill
If there was a Zero Star, I would give it. My phone had quit working on Christmas Day and so we went to this store Saturday. Due to Covid we were given an Appointment for 45 minutes later, so we waited in our car. When our time came, we were told that Verizon was doing really good deals online and was told due to the AT&T Tower bombing on Christmas Day, if he helped me get a new phone that day, it would not work until Monday or Tuesday of next week anyway. Feeling pushed out, we went home and tried all weekend to get help. I got upset, went back to this store Monday at 6:10pm, they closed at 7. One customer was inside with 4 or 5 Workers at the counter. One man came to me, I showed him how we had called and texted 9;times and was disconnected and he told me at 6:15 that he had a 6pm appt and could not help me.I went to my car ready to give up, I went back inside and asked for his managers name and the headquarters office number. He told me the manager was Alvin Hernandez and the Headquarters office number was *611. Found out he even lied about the Managers name because he knew he should be fired.We had to go through another Dealer, have the phone shipped and had to call and get it set up for us over the phone. I WOULD NVER RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS STORE!
I made an appointment for 10am when they open, to have my network extender repaired and to fix the phone I just bought that wont connect to network. Manager shows up 1022. Slaps a sign on the door and leaves. Not only is there phone service trash. So is their customer service. What a waste of time. I took off work to be here when they open.
Worse store ever...my disabled brother was left without a phone due to the unhelpfulness of the store. Literally the guy was told this was critical and would leave a heart patient without service and he escorted my sister-in-law out the door. The guy named Klean is not going to help and will be rude.

My older mother in law went by there today with an appointment at 4:30, to get a SIM card put in her Verizon phone. A young man with black hair told her he could NOT help her, she walked outside to call me and he locked the door behind her. This happened at 4:30. She is an authorized user on my account and has the account PIN number. I called 4 times, the first two nobody picked up and the last two someone picked up the phone and hung up. I am so upset.

Well let me begin by saying that if I could have given a lower rating, I would have. One star is giving this store too much. I am sure some of the employees in this store are great, but one bad apple can ruin it for the rest. I showed up to the store shortly before it opened to purchase a new phone and waited on my designated spot as indicated outside of the store. An employee started opening the store and asked me, if I brought a mask with me? I asked him if I didn’t have one, would I not be allowed in the store? The poor guy didn’t even have an opportunity to answer before the MANAGER, CHANCE, decided to condescendingly interrupt us by asking me “Mam do you not know we are in the middle of a pandemic!?” Then proceeded to tell me that I needed to move out of the way for the people behind me to enter. I am not here to argue over mask or no mask. I am here to express my frustration as a multi account holding patron for many years. Customer service is still customer service in a pandemic or not in a pandemic! His snide attitude wasn’t called for, ESPECIALLY when he himself didn’t have on a damn mask!!!!!!! Needless to say, in the future, I will go straight to the Gunbarrel store. The employees there treated me with respect and I felt like a valued customer.

Where do I begin? Ive been with Verizon going on 4 years, always dealing with this store. When I would go in (very rarely), the staff was pretty supportive, but that was rare and next to never so maybe I was just fortunate to get the right person.Honestly, the customer service is just concerned with making sales. They couldnt care less about making you, the paying customer, happy. They are arrogant, rude, and callous. The manager, at least Chance, was terrible to deal with. I would describe him the same way I described the customer service staff. They dont explain things to you well and when you go back and ask for help, are rude and talk back to you. Tyler is the worst! Ask for someone else if you go in.My fiance and I went in to switch her from Sprint during one of their BYOD events where you receive a rebate. Not only were they rude about letting us do it (because we would get 300 instead of 150), they FAILED TO MENTION you had to go online to activate your rebate, so the ENTIRE REASON we switched her was all for not.I would rather go ANYWHERE else other than this store and if I can help it WILL NEVER RETURN. This is honestly one of the only BAD reviews Ive ever written. Im such an easy person to get along with and they are just insensitive, brutish folks who care about making commissions instead of actually helping the customers.AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Hasan deserves a 5 star review for reviewing my account and sorting out the mess created back in March when we switched over from Sprint. My account was not set up correctly. My app and on line account will not work. I set up auto pay and don’t get bills and auto not working correctly for my account so shows over due balance. Had my phone cut off twice. It has been a complete disaster!!!!!However, Hasan has been the only person who has seemed to understand my bill and be able to explain it he has shown me where I can $7 monthly. He has given me #’s to call for IT escalation & financial services. He put it all down on 1 Piece of paper, told me what to start with and what would be needed. He explained several other things to me. And, I actually walked out with a better knowledge of my account.Depending on how this all works out will determine if I stay with Verizon. However, Hasan is the man to speak with at Verizon Ft Oglethorpe if you need help with anything!!

Chris handled our upgrade process wonderfully. The process was straight forward. He helped us run the numbers as we tried to make the best financial decision. We left thinking we were missing something. We realized all we missed was the dizzying exhaustion that use to come with each new phone purchase. Looking forward to powering on our new devices.

Bought a new phone 2 months ago for my 89 yo dad. It turned out to be junk and wouldn’t work a lot of the time. Went back to get a phone that SUPPOSEDLY is superior. They would not give any credit for the old/new junk phone I bought there NOR would they successfully transfer the contacts over for me. Verizon of Ft Oglethorpe customer service is pathetic.

Weve been with Verizon for over 20 years (actually when it first merged into Verizon) and have usually done business with the Gunbarrel location which weve had Ashley help us for years there. In February, we tried to buy 2 new phones and add a line at the Gunbarrel location and were getting a lot of inaccurate information from a young lady there. We made an appt a few days later with her manager to try to help with this sale and were actually insulted by text by that same sales lady by accident. I called around to find out if by chance Ashley still worked for Verizon and found out that she now manages the Fort Oglethorpe store. She and Hasan helped us get our new phones, add the extra line and they were both incredibly helpful! It was quick and easy and will go out of our way to go to this store again in order to have Hasan help with any sales and Ashley of course with any other issues! Definitely come here and ask for either Ashley or Hasan and they will take care of any issues you have or help you with your needs!! More happy customers :)
My Wife, and I came to Verizon for an upgrade on our iPhone. We needed a newer model. We were very fortunate we got Kisan Patel to help us. He was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, and getting us set up with the new iPhone 11, and a new tablet. We were very pleased with our service. After Anthony left I went in this store to get a tablet. I was told that with me selling my tablet it would cross out the price of the new one. What I did not know without my consent he changed my plan on my primary number and changed my plan. I have to call verizon executive office. Since it was returned my account has been erased. They can’t accept my credit cards and sometimes it say the payment went through when it has not even touched my account. This store will jack up your account to do a sale. I have had to file a complaint outside of verizon regarding this headache and I have with them for over 19 years
Wife Went To Verizon Ft. Oglethorpe To Get 3 New Phones. 2 - S10 and 1 - S10+. I Wasnt Personally There But Wife Rated The Customer Service As Great.Gave Us Free Otterbox Covers And Hum Discount. Bought The Unlimited Service Contract. Only Disappointment Was The Original Galaxy Scratch Protection Covers Were Removed To Replace With The Free Invisible Shield Covers That Leave A Lot To Be Desired. Getting Bubbles Days Later And The Edges Still Havent Sealed Over Which We Were Told Could Be Done By A Hairdryer. Not Ever Going To Attempt To Get The Phone Hot Enough To Melt The Scratch Cover Over The Edges. There Wasnt Anything Wrong With the Original Factory Samsung Covers That Were On The Phones As These Phones Were All Brand New Out Of Their Boxes. Seems To Me The Aftermarket Covers Were Installed To Poorly Perform And Then Sell Us A Better Scratch Cover Later As A Marketing Tool For A Customer 2 Plus 1 Sales Tactic.Yes I Have Worked Retail As An Assistant Manager Before. I Know What The Markup On Is On Retail Sales Items Compared To What The Company Buys Them For At Wholesale Costs. The More An Employee Sells, The Better They Advance Within The Company.

I used to enjoy this store, however lately they’ve been trying to push their sales hard enough to lie? I’ve been in the phone business for over 10 years, and the shorter, slim girl had the audacity to tell me that Verizon iPhones are NOT unlocked and can only be used on Verizon. Also that unlocked phones will NOT work on Verizon, even though on the website it says it will, and will work with my SIM card.In short, I wouldn’t recommend this store. Don’t go somewhere where the staff will lie straight to your face in hopes to make a sale, trying to take advantage of the ignorant consumers who are willing to fall for their shady selling tactics.

Very pleasant in-store experience but thats where the positive review ends. The sales people that work here are very clever and good at closing sales, but buyer beware- they are no different than used car salesmen! They intentionally do not disclose the full extent of the deal they are offering you and will withhold the truth of the plan you are signing your name in blood for. Yes, important details are omitted. Thankfully, corporate does a great job of fixing these unscrupulous salesmans tactics. Just sort the reviews from lowest to highest and you will see that this store has a reputation for telling lies to customers and not being transparent during their transactions.

Why is it when you have a probably all they say is its time to update your phone? My brother pays the phone bill on three phones two are smart phones and one just a plane phone.i dont know why he pays almost 200 dollars a month and a friend of mine got two smart phones and pays 50 dollars a month. My brother is thinking about going somewhere else because of how high his bill is. They need to come down on prices because they will loose more people if they dont and be nicer to your customers because without us yall dont have a job.
Just a horrible company that cost more than any other provider for no reason. The physical stores are only here to sell you phones. I asked why Im paying more for service if they cant help me and the employee just shrugged.

I went to Verizon in an absolute pickle about my phone situation, BTW if you are not on your parents family plan or someone equally close I would not sign up to be on their family plan. There are so many limitations that come with that. Anyways I went there and I was amazed and quite shocked at how quick Brandon and his co workers were willing to help me solve my problem. Brandon was awesome he didnt try to sale me the most expensive phone or products, he understood my needs and he genuinely helped me yesterday. Now I have a phone and service at a price i can afford and I have full control of my wireless account. It was definitely worth a shot just to go talk to Brandon and his co workers just to see what my options were and i am pleased as punch that I did!!!! I recommend at least going and talking to these guys in Ft. O if you are phone shopping or having any kind of phone issues!

Dont bother going to this Verizon store if you wanted to talk to a person face-to-face about buying a phone or changing plans. The associate who helped me acted like I was stupid for having questions and treated me like a second class citizen for having a pre-paid plan.I came in with money in hand, ready to buy a phone for full retail price and walked away with nothing. He didnt even try to sell me a phone - I was told they were out of stock before I even told him what model I wanted. Really? You dont have ANY phones?If you want actual customer service, try the Verizon by Hamilton Place - its a bit of a drive, but the associates there are x10 more friendly and helpful.
