This was the first time that I brought my car to Churchill Auto Repair for repair. My insurance company—State Farm—recommended their services. Churchill Auto Repair replaced several very important parts, changed the oil, changed the transmission fluid, and replaced the windshield wipers. In the end, I paid over $2,000.00 for all the repairs but I feel that Churchill’s work was excellent—the car appears to be much improved. Also, I felt that Brian, who I spoke with exclusively, was very articulate, detailed, and honest throughout my experience with Churchill. I recommend Churchill without any reservation.

I called Churchill Auto Care to have my car looked at when it started acting funny on the highway with no indicator lights on, the soonest they could get me in was 4 days later - it started on Monday, my appointment was made for Friday. The next day, Tuesday, my check engine light came on and I was not comfortable driving it daily, so I dropped it off and had to get a rental. I was expecting to have my rental for the week, and was totally shocked when I received a message Wednesday afternoon with the details of what was going on with my car and what was needed to fix it. That Thursday, my car was completely fixed and ready for me by the end of the day. They truly did everything they could for me so that I could get my car back sooner, and I never even expected it of them. They went above and beyond! I would highly recommend this place and will continue to use it myself!

Its not often that you get to see people that you can actually trust to give you a real and honest appraisal of what is required, and topping that off with a fair price? You dont see that often enough! These people are for real, and they do the work correctly, and when they say they will. The job is promised by a certain time and date, then its done by that time and date. This is the way most businesses should be run. Incredible first visit. They looked at my list of possible repairs. They do a free 25 point inspection. They fixed the items I wanted and told me exactly what I would need in the future when I decide to get more work done. They shuttle me home when I dropped off car for repair. The delivered my car home after repair as they did not have their courtesy shuttle available for some reason. Thats incredible service!

Had the number five plug blow out of the head on my V10 F350. Very difficult to get to spot. Churchill machined and repaired the head and reassembled everything, ready to pick up the very next day. Excellent communication and reasonable price.

They are very nice and accommodating the only thing I asked for Windshield wiper fluid and I was told I would get every thing topped off they didn’t do the window wiper fluid but other than that everything was perfect they really look out for the customer

The service received at Churchill Auto Care was top-notch. They picked up my car and assessed it properly, then they gave me a fair price on parts and labor. The part came in a little bit late which was not their fault and they even dropped it right back off as soon the car was done. The car runs much smoother now and doesnt make the noises that it was before. I dont think it gets any better than this for quality auto care.

The staff and mechanics at Churchill are amazing! I brought my car in for an oil change and some concerns I had with the brakes. They discovered the right front caliper was sticking and the rear brakes were completely worn out. When the brake hose wasnt available until the next day, rather than have me come back, they set me up with a rental car which they paid for. They do excellent work, theyre reasonably priced, theyre honest, and theyre some of the kindest and caring people youll ever meet. I recommend them to everyone!

First off I am not one to write reviews but I want everyone to know how awesome this business is. I have used Churchill before and they always do an outstanding job but this time they went above and beyond for my family. My daughter came home for a quick visit from NC, she started to have car issues the day before she had to leave. I called Churchill and told them what was going on and that I needed all the work done that day because she needed to leave by 5pm. I probably talked to them like 5 times trying to get quotes and just figuring out everything we needed to do. Brian & Dave had lots of patience with me and knew I was very concerned about getting my daughter home on time & safe. Not only did they quote me fantastic prices but was able to get all the work done (which was a significant amount of items) and them some in the required time I was requesting on top of all the other appointments and work they had that day. Churchill will always be my mechanic and I will never go to another in Frederick. Not only are they good at their job but they are passionate, caring, understanding, honest and truly care about their customers. I am very much a family person and my family is everything to me. That day they showed me that they cared just as much about my daughter and her safety as I did. This means the world to me and I can’t thank them enough for going out of their way to ensure my daughter’s car was in order in such a short time for her to get home to NC safe and on time. When they were diagnosing my BMW for an issue, they believed the problem would be fixed in a day but the car had to stay over for a few days. I bought a used car recently and had Churchill Automotive do what they call a pre-purchase inspection. I did it after buying the car due to logistics but I was glad I did because they found out the car was in pretty good condition except for some routine maintenance and that gave me piece of mind. I had the work done, they did it all in one day and the prices were pretty reasonable too. I got a FREE RIDE to and from WORK. Thats a $20 dollar value right there at least. Excellent service all around. 10/10 recommend.

They performed the services I needed (new tires, oil change, alignment), and even told me that I did not need a specific service (timing belt replacement) for another 20k miles. This is my first visit for oil change. They did 25 points inspection as for courtesy and I like that. It is hard to find trust mechanic out there since I always use my father who was my best mechanic. They were patience and took time to explain what will need to be done for the next visit. The price/quote seems to be very reasonable. They offer free shuttle/transportation service if you need. I believe this will be the one where I will go to.

OMG! Theyre AWESOME. I had my car to a couple different mechanics to figure out why my 2003 Mazda shook every time I tried to stop. No one could figure it out. I brought it to Churchill and they fixed it and made it better than before. Not only that, but they did it while I was at work. I called 27 places last Saturday for a MD state inspection and couldnt find an open slot to get it done. How many calls did I get back Monday to see if Id gotten it taken care of? Just one, and it was Laurel from Churchill. It seems so simple but they were the only ones to actually take that extra step. The business is run correctly and the people are friendly. They legitimately shuttled me home while my car was getting inspected and offered to pick me up when it was finished about an hour later. Saved me $25+ in Uber costs and I paid about $4 more than the average Frederick inspection price. Worth it. Also, they didnt try to BS me into unnecessary repairs and thats magical. Thanks guys!

I have had several repair jobs done here on multiple vehicles including a new jasper engine install. All work was done in a very timely manner with no take backs. Ive had many cars in my lifetime, and I maintain them very well, so I am familiar with automotive service centers. Out of all the service centers I have used in all the places Ive lived for all the cars I have had, I appreciate Churchill the most. I can tell when Im being misled or ripped off. Ive never felt that here. They are very honest, they tell you what is wrong, what can be potentially affected, and what is OK but should be addressed in the near future. Im the type that goes ahead and addresses those things immediately.Additionally, my side car is a 2006 Scion xB. Ive owned it since new, and its always been a little noisy under the hood. Belt noise usually. Solid tank of a car, but a bit raspy sounding. Ive had that looked at and addressed many times before I moved to Frederick last year. Churchill is the ONLY place that has quieted ALL that noise, and suddenly my Scion sounds like normal at startup. It sounds better than it did when it was new!They also treat their customers very well. Very respectful, very friendly.They will remain my primary car service provider as long as I live here.

I literally drive 40 min to come here when my car needs anything from something as simple as a lighbulb change to new tires. The team here is always so professional, honest, and know what they are doing which makes me happy considering i know nothing about cars. Brian worked with me to fit an appointment into my schedule. After dropping off my car, they drove me to work, and then picked me up once the servicing was complete. Thats excellent customer service! My BRAKE light was on, and I was expecting a hefty price to solve the problem. The Churchill team discovered a loose wire in a sensor, and the problem was resolved for well under $100. Im sure the dealer would have found a way to add another zero to that price! The team at Churchill Auto Care is very professional, open and honest. There my new auto care team!

I had my Prius inspected at a dealership for a pre-sale inspection and they told me I need about $3,000 of work done to pass inspection. I took my same vehicle to Churchill and they told me my car is in perfect condition!! So then I went back to dealership with my friend who works on cars and requested for the mechanic to show us the issues... They started to back pedal on what they stated!! I will forever continue dealing with them. And when my other vehicles warranty is up.... Ill be bringing it to them as well.

Scheduled my appt right online, very easy. I was looking for a second opinion from the dealer, because I wasn’t feeling confident by what I was told. I decided to use Churchill auto care because of all the great reviews I was reading. These reviews were spot on. Very friendly and welcoming, explained everything they found with my car in great detail, I felt them to be very genuine and honest. They got the work done way sooner than they originally told me, which made me happy because I had to sit and wait on my car. I already made another appt for next weekend for the rest of the work needing done on my car, that is how confident I feel about using them.

They give you an estimate up front, call you if anything pops up to find out how youd like to proceed(I had a nail in my tire!), and when theyre done, they let you know anything they noticed that may be a problem in the future- in my case, Laurel noticed some shaking when the engine was idling, called the Honda dealership for me, checked on warranty coverage, and let me know everything she found out. It wasnt a pitch to make me spend more money with them, just an FYI.100% recommend them, above and beyond service.

I went to get four new tires. I must say the service there is AMAZING! I normally hate going to dealers or repair shops, but Churchill Auto care gave hope! My friend recommended them, at first nervous but my tech walked me through the process gave me a range of prices and what he recommended. I asked him to imagine it was his car and he had to pay for the service lol. I love their honesty and fairness. Although, I live almost an hour away I will with no doubt return for any major work my car needs. Ive been to Churchill twice. This time, there were more serious issues with one of our older cars. Churchill carefully explained the repairs needed and helped me to make budget conscious decisions. The repair took far less time than I expected and the cost was less than anticipated. They showed us worn parts, explained things and even offered quotes by email some maintenance items wed like to have done in the future. This is definitely a place I can trust to take good care of us. And, before I forget, its also just about the best customer service Ive ever encountered.

I was on my way home from Great Falls, VA to Allentown, PA and my car was making very bad noises. I googled and found their garage which was open on a Saturday and they took me right away. They fixed it right away and I was on my way. The people were super friendly and I did not feel like they took advantage of the fact that I was obviously a traveler. I could have been gouged! The work was done well - car still running great!

Unparalleled service and integrity. My wifes car broke down on I-70 in the first hour of an all day road trip. These kinds of situations are very stressful with lots of quick decisions that have to be made (calling the insurance company, choosing a place to tow to, finding a rental car). I searched quickly for a place to have our car towed, and found Churchill Auto Care. They took care of my wife and my two young daughters, driving them to a car rental agency with all their luggage and stuffed animals. They took a quick look at the car and determined that it was totaled, and then let us keep the car there for a week until we could have it removed, never, for some reason, charging us for any of this, and refusing any token of gratitude we offered when we dropped by to empty out our vehicle. As out-of-town strangers, we had no reason to expect any of this, and feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon their place. This kind of integrity and generosity seems quite rare these days, and we wish we lived in town and could have our vehicles serviced here!
