Fantastic experience!! Family owned business that took great care of me and my car. Needed a new muffler and exhaust pipe. They fit me in next day and quoted me less than what the Nissan mechanic told me to expect for after market parts. Dropped off the car before work and Lisa gave me a ride home. It was ready before lunch and she came to pick me up! Price charged was exactly what was quoted. My new permanent mechanic!

Clearview Car Care was recommended to me by a friend when I moved to Frederick. Ive only used their services a few times but the staff have always been honest, kind and professional. They are flexible with timing and if you need to be somewhere, they will do their best to accommodate you.

I had just gotten a $55 oil change from Mr. Tire on North East Street and they told me I needed new break pads and that it would be $1100. Took it to clear view and they did it quickly and for $700. I know theyre always honest with me. They have great customer service. They remember exactly who I am every time I go in. I know I can always trust these guys

Clearview is the best auto shop in Frederick County and yes, I would give them a 10 Star rating. I feel confident that my car is in the best of care. Since moving to the Frederick area Ive had my share of weird things going on with my vehicle; thankfully I made the right choice by choosing the crew at Clearview. Their quotes are very reasonable and fair, the quickness with which theyve gotten my vehicle to me on the few occasions my vehicle was there was remarkable, and when an issue persisted through a fix they previously made, they looked further into the issue free of charge and replaced the part necessary to fix the issue. I fully recommend these guys if you are close by and looking for honest, affordable mechanic work

Its not often you find a place that you can feel confident that they arent going to over charge you, nor are they going to make a long list of unnecessary repairs for the sake of money. I went to Clearview Car Care after a bad experience at the service department of my dealership. They did an excellent job and saved me money. I have been a loyal customer now for two years and I cant say enough about their service, honesty and integrity. They treat me like family. When you go to the dealer, they give you a list of things to fix, and theyre all urgent and necessary. Mike tells me what needs to be fixed, but he also helps me determine the necessary repairs vs those that can wait so that I can budget for upcoming car expenses. I have LOVED my experience at Clearview Car Care. Both times, they have checked my car before a big road trip and given me a oil change. Once, they had to do more in-depth routine maintenance. I have found them to be supremely competent, honest and reliable. Also, one of the best things I like is that they are open at 7:30 AM which means I can get my oil changed before I go to work. I cannot reccommend them highly enough.

I started using the other Clearview location and found the owner to be honest and would go out of his way to be helpful. I brought my son’s truck to this location because the owner is a licensed state inspector, and I wanted a second opinion on an issue with the truck. Mike is just as helpful and I trust him completely! Just now, I brought my son’s truck in with a leaking tire without an appointment. Although they were extremely busy (9:30am), he had it on the lift within 10 minutes and the technician found a screw in the tire and is plugging it while I wait.Clearview Car Care is the only place we’ll continue to bring our trucks!!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. They are very knowledgeable and we always receive fantastic service. Most recently our Lincoln MKX headlight harness burnt out. The replacement burnt out two weeks later. They replaced that at no cost. We are happy to report that it has been working fine ever since. I highly recommend Clearview Car Care!!

My engine light went on and a friend of mine suggested me Clearview to have that checked. Mike was nice and let me leave the car for a check. He called me back saying that the problem was the coolant thermostat and that it had to be replaced. Their quote was 430$ including taxes (please check the quote on the photo). Im not an expert but I just did a quick research online and I found out that it is a very easy problem to solve (there are youtube videos showing how to replace a thermostat; a 20min work). When I checked the price of a new coolant thermostat for my car I was shocked: it was just 16$. I did the work by myself in 30min and I spent 16$ for the new thermostat + 14$ for 1 gallon of coolant fluid (check the receipt in the photo). In the quote from Clearview, they were charging 89.95$ for the coolant!!! I did everything with less than 30$ in 30 min. Clearview was asking 430$. Draw your conclusion. I will never set foot there again.

Good hourly rate and you can bring your own parts

Have gone to them multiple times now for different problems. Had one problem with our truck in which they could have run up a large tab with what COULD fix the problem. They spent hours testing and said they were positive it was the one sensor we had previously replaced ourselves. We went ahead and let them order the brand name part and replace....sure enough fixed the problem. Their labor prices are fair and I have never felt like I was getting a bad deal or treated unfairly because I was a female....which is what often happens at mechanics. I work less than 10 minutes from them and they have never had a problem taking me to work in the morning and picking me up in the afternoon.

Straightforward and is up front about the prices.

After a long discussion about what my vehicle needed (which seemed to be A LOT, but not knowing much about cars, I went with it). Concerned that I was getting ripped off, I contacted another place for a second opinion. After being told I needed less than half of what this place was saying I needed, I made the obvious choice. BEWARE of these people.
