I picked up a bolt in a drive tire. Rice Tire was recommended by a friend that does a lot of business with them. Went to the location in Frederick MD to have the tire fixed. They said they couldnt fix it, and I needed a new tire. I put a new tire on, but I kept the old tire.I took the old tire to my tire shop in IN. They fixed the old tire AND gave me a warranty on the life of tire to cover the work they did. I put the old tire back on to match my tread depths back up.Why would one Goodyear shop not fix it and another Goodyear shop fix it? Its been over a month and the tire is still holding the recommended tire pressure.I feel Rice Tire maliciously took advantage of me since I from out of town and having a tire problem.

Pulled in with a low air indication on my rv tpms. Was told no problem and got me in right away. Leaky valve stem was the problem. Installed a new one and away we went. Great job.

Rice tire was the only place that would fix my tire. I went to 3 other different places and all told me it couldnt be fixed or that nothing was wrong with it. I would highly recommend them. They not only fixed my tire but also was extremely nice and very reasonable on price. Definitely wont deal with anyone else but them.

Took my truck in for tires after I received a fairly priced quote. Took almost 4 hrs to mount and balance 4 tires and put a tube in a tractor tire. In the process they scratched two of my truck wheels and destroyed the paint on the tractor rim. Truck tires were not inflated to proper pressures one was 10 lbs low one 10lbs high and inflated over max tire pressure. Tires not balanced well. Get home and one tire has zero balance weights. Check lug nuts two days after install and find one not even finger tight and another one barely tight. All the rest of the lugs were way over torqued 165 lbs plus when spec is 140. Oh and by the time I got home the tractor tire was flat because they pinched the tube. Had to break it down and fix it myself. If I could give zero stars I would. Stay away!!!

I had tire issues with two cars. My suv had a nail in a tire. They removed the nail and my tire was ok. They checked all my tires and put air in them and didn’t charge me. I live very close to them. I brought my small back and they replaced the tire that blew out. The guys were so nice and professional. Very reasonable prices I got both cars done under like an hour fifteen a very clean waiting room I will definitely use their services again

I mostly visit Rice Tire when I have something unplanned. They usually have what I need in stock. At times they will have a waiting line but work steady to get you repaired or replaced and on the road.

I visited Rice Tire to get tires for my travel trailer. They had the tires I needed in stock and had them installed in less than an hour. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I go in because I have two tires with slow leaks. 50 bucks later and I am out and fixed . Next day both tires still leak so I return .then they discover both tires have nails and one cant be repaired so I agree to buy 2 tires but they discover that they cant get the rim off because they screwed up lugs and rim on one and will have cut off the rim. They will find a rim but cant fix this until the mechanic returns from vacation, 5 days later. Finally they get it right and took care of the problem they caused. I am just not anxious to go back.

This review is long overdue, but these guys saved our trip to Rehoboth almost two years ago, especially the tech who worked on my tire.Ran over a deer carcass on I-70 around 10pm the night before as we started our trip, and we were able to limp into Frederick after our rear tire quick lost air. Just have new Michelin Premiers installed by Costco but with two small kids couldnt wait for Costco to open up at 10am. Called a few places and quoted $200-$300 for a replacement tire (assuming they would even replace a single tire on an AWD). Rice said to come in and theyd try to patch it.The tech probably spent 30-45 minutes trying to remove the bone (I watched and checked the car for any other damage). I was shocked and relieved when he was able to get it patched up and got us on the road in no time. And they only charged the normal patching price. Felt bad because I didnt have any bills to tip the tech.These guys were amazing and now we have a go-to place if we ever run into trouble on our annual Rehoboth trips. Thank you so much!

This is the best tire store around. A long-time family business that I have been using for years; they are first-rate and go the extra mile. Got a flat on my 61,000 mile Chevy Colorado tires on Friday, took it in Monday and got: the best price on a new set of Goodyear Fortitudes (I searched online and called many places for prices) and they had me in and out in an hour. Put my spare back under the truck (no easy job).

I showed up without an appointment, and they mounted and balanced my tires very quickly and was on my way! Only tire place I use!

Rice Tire has come through for us twice.First time was for an RV trailer that had 3 of 4 tires go bad 90 miles from home. They had the 4 tires in stock and had them changed in an hour upon arrival to the shop.7/16/2020. Different RV trailer with a new tire from another dealer who didnt change the valve stem when they installed the new tire. Trailer tire pressure monitor notified of low air pressure. Since we were on 70 West heading towards Frederick, I contacted Rice Tire. Upon arrival they had me back the trailer in, removed the tire and replaced the bad valve stem and back on the road in 20 minutes.If you need tires, contact Rice Tires in Frederick Maryland. I had a bad tire on my Ram 3500 and the rim had seized up as well. They put 4 or so guys on changing the tire and putting on anti-seizing paste on all the rims

I stopped in without an appointment, knowing that I had a broken exhaust pipe. They evaluated the truck within a couple hours, and at my request did an oil change. The repair that the truck needed required welding to be done the best. Tony gave me the honest opinion that I should take it to a muffler shop for the fix since they could do it at about half the cost, and fix through welding instead of clamps. It was good knowing that they werent just trying to take my money to make a buck. Thats honesty. They were able to get my truck back to me in time for me to take it to another shop and get my truck repaired same day. The oil change was also the cheapest Ive ever paid for on my truck! Definitely will turn to them for rotations and alignment in the future. They won my business by turning me down :)

The alignment guys here do a fantastic job. I do quite a bit of long distance driving (cross country) and these guys always get the alignment perfectly on my Ford E-350 -- makes for a much easier driving experience when the vehicle is not wandering to one side.

I had an amazing experience working with Mike. He not only found me the best prices for 4 new tires for my vehicle, he also took me through the various options such as all season and winter tires. I took a flat tire in. The folks at Rice looked it over immediately, showed me that the hole is through the sidewall and couldnt be repaired. They offered to replace immediately, but I needed to come back with my car the next morning since Id stopped on way to work.In short, their service was prompt, capable, courteous, and friendy.

After they installed tires, they told me I desperately needed many hundreds of dollars of work or I would ruin the tires by driving on it . I smelled a rat since I had the car recently inspected. I declined their work and I took the car to my regular mechanic who looked over their work estimate. He said there was absolutely nothing that any honest mechanic could possibly find that was wrong or even slightly out of spec with my car. I recommend staying away from Rice Tire.

Bought tires online and had them delivered to this location. I arrived at my scheduled time for my tires but realized I needed an alignment so I one requested that day. I was told I needed an appointment to do so but they could fit me in. Two months later after my car drove off center I find out from another shop that the alignment was never performed. 90 dollar scam! Beware!
