Josh was excellent, he was so quick and smart and efficient. He never gave up and was so detailed amazing to work with! Ask for him when you go in if you need help. And great personality.
Great store with friendly staff. Definitely need more tech support in there so theres not as long of a wait. They should actually separate the two, tech support, and sales in separate buildings. Before it became one of the wealthiest companies in the world, Apple Inc. was a tiny start-up in Los Altos, California. Co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, both college dropouts, wanted to develop the worlds first user-friendly personal computer. Their work ended up revolutionizing the computer industry and changing the face of consumer technology. Along with tech giants like Microsoft and IBM, Apple helped make computers part of everyday life, ushering in the Digital Revolution and the Information Age.
Poor customer service, poor manager lacks the decision making skills and respect to be an effective and efficient Apple representative. Full of himself with little regard for Apple customers or their long term loyalty. He should open his own store since he has the perception that he owns the store he was mistakenly hired to WORK at.
Andrew was the best! In 5 minutes he figured out why my new phone wasn’t transferring my info from my old phone. All the other staff was helpful when he had to go on break. Highly recommend making an appointment before heading out though.
Darren was very helpful, knowledgeable and gave me lots of advise and help with the phone issues. He explained the test he was doing and helped resolve my issue. Thank you!!!
I went in the store to purchase a new iPhone 13 and made an appt online. When i got there the woman who helped me was extremely rude. Her coworker was asking me about my Louis Vuitton purse and after that all I got from the woman was helping me was major attitude. I won’t ever give an actual apple store my business again. I’ll continue to purchase my apple products online. Their items cost way too much to deal with someone’s rudeness in person. I don’t need to pay $1000 for someone to be a jerk to me in person.
Poor customer service. I went to check a problem I had with my Apple Watch series 6; then I had to make an appointment for a 2 hour wait, once I went in the store I checked in just to wait another hour. While two sales representatives were just standing in the front doing nothing, as I walked up to one guy he just looked at me and turned his back to me and didn’t bother to turn around. Maybe they just don’t get trained in having good customer service or just don’t care as long as they’re getting paid right ?
My wife and myself made an appointment and had the privilege of working with Mary. We had multiple devices to exchange and purchased a new Workbook pro. Mary was super patient and informative throughout the whole process. Great customer service is often overlooked and most of the time people only speak out when they are not satisfied with services provided. I work in sales and can appreciate great service especially in a retail setting. Mary is totally an asset to the apple organization and this needs to be pointed out! Thank you for the great service!
Genius Bar is suffering from poor leadership at this location. Team leader, Rueben, regrettably modeled blatantly rude, ineffective, and subpar customer service today. Total conduct unbecoming a leader. After investing well over $2,500 dollars in merchandise, I’m beyond disappointed that this is the level of service condoned by the Apple company and brand. The Central Valley, loyal customers deserve better!
I made an appointment to purchase a new iPad Pro 11. The workers out front managing the que were all very friendly, and the original young lady who helped me with my purchase was also very nice, answered my questions, and was efficient. When I got back out to my car, I decided to get it set up to make sure I had everything I needed. It was then that I realized I was sold the wrong case and that the charger port was different than my previous iPad/iPhone (no big deal).I went back inside and explained that I was sold the wrong case and also needed to purchase an adapter and longer cord. They told me to go inside and someone would help me. About 5 minutes later, a gentleman came over asking if I was being helped. I explained what happened and he asked another young woman (different from the original sales associate) to assist me with the exchange and purchase of a cord/adapter.From the very beginning she seemed less than enthused to wait on me. She asked for my receipt and, when I told her that I wasnt given one but could check my email, she insisted (and argued with me) that if I had purchased it in the store I would have been given a paper receipt - despite me telling her over and over that I was not given a paper version. It came across as if she was accusing me of not having purchased it in the store (literally 10 minutes prior). After scanning my DIGITAL receipt from my email, she told me that they did not have the right case in stock...when I asked if there was an alternative or if it could be ordered, she found one on the shelf (right in front of us). I then reminded her that I needed an adapter so I could plug it into the USB port in my car (the iPad uses a USB-C) and that I would like a longer cord than what comes with it. Her response was a very snippy - we dont sell a plug for your cigarette lighter; theres a 0.8m cord (pointing at a box on the shelf). NOT what I asked for at all - who even has a cigarette lighter in their car these days and why would I pay $30 for a cord not much, if any, longer than the one it comes with??? I explained AGAIN that I needed an adapter to plug into a regular USB port and that I wanted a longer cord. Her response, we dont have them. So, I asked, are they available on the Apple Store app or can they be ordered? Which was met with a very annoyed, I recommend you go on Amazon and order it yourself - its easier. Easier for who? Isnt it her JOB to sell APPLE products to APPLE customers in the APPLE store? Like a glutton for punishment, I asked her what the difference was between the 2m USB-C lightening cord (which they had) and a USB-C cord. She was unable to answer but said that the lightening cord wouldnt work for me. I asked her again what the difference was and she said, I have that iPad, so I know. Well, OK then. After a few more interactions just like these, I asked her to just process my exchange and said I would handle the rest myself. She took my payment, said youre set, and walked away...WITHOUT giving me a paper receipt, BTW (I guess you DONT always get them in the store...)Needless to say, I went home and ordered the accessories I wanted from the Apple Store app and one item from Amazon. Its too bad the second associate RUINED the otherwise pleasant experience I had with the first.
Bring loads of disposable income. Otherwise just get a churro from this mall. Cheaper on the wallet and tastier than sucking on milled aluminum.
Super easy experience dealing with airpods warranty through Apple care. Attentive staff
I broke my phone and made an appointment to “shop” since I didn’t know if I needed to replace or repair it. After being herded into a line outside the store, representatives stepped out of the store and assessed each customer’s need. I was told i had to make another appointment for a repair if I wasn’t going to buy a phone. After much back and forth, the rep was hesitant to speak with the manager upon my request. The “manager “ (standing inside the store while I’m left outside the store) said there was no flexibility and for me to come back another time unless i was going to purchase something. He was disrespectful and dismissive. I felt sorry for the staff who work under him since it was clear that he was difficult to approach. I was informed by another Apple store rep that the Fresno store manager made a poor judgement call and failed to properly assess the situation, especially since I had an appointed time slot. According to another rep, the repair (replacing my phone screen) could have easily been done within the time spent refusing me service.
They are the worst really. You go there at 11 am to get sth fixed and you get the shock that you have to wait for 2 hours to get serviced. If you need an appointment, you have to wait for a week. Is this in the USA? I got way better service from Apple stores outside the USA. They have no respect to customer time. Go there and see their ques. And guess what? There is only one Apple store in Fresno. It is a shame. No wonder the company is losing.
So this was my first visit to the “Genius Bar” I’ve heard so much about in the past. I’ve had a Samsung for my whole life up until last year when I got my first Apple device (iPad 7th Generation), that had been cracked and got worse and worse as time goes on. The guys that worked there were young and need some quality customer service training, but they did fix my issue. AppleCare+ is what made it worth while. So it’s more of a corporate product that made that store and probably makes the whole Apple experience what it is because the quality of the employees at this place was in desperate need of improvement.
Just heads up for COVID-restrictions as of 6.21.21. In-store shopping is by appointments only for large purchases (eg. ipad), and walk-ins is only for accessories (eg. cases, cords). The announcement in May for this branch was vague and had to call to clarify.
Great service. Had an appointment and we were in and taken care of pretty quick. Excellent service. Workers were friendly, and we were well taken care of
Apple Stores have consistently had the worst customer service experiences and this one is no different. No one offered to help me while looking at anything, thankfully I found answers to my questions about iPhones buried on the device in a comparison app. I couldnt find any information or pricing on the Apple Watches, there were iPads at the table for them but they didnt respond to any taps. Prices are nowhere to be found. No M1 Mac Minis were on display and when I asked to see one I was told I would have to wait 3 hours for an appointment with a specialist. Simply ridiculous. I walked in with $2,000 planning to get an iPhone, Apple Watch, and Mac Mini, and walked out with $2,000. If I cant get any service Im not going to waste my money there.
It’s nice it’s big it’s clean I don’t care for it I prefer River Park everybody’s breathing your air River Park is nice and open
Got My gold chains fixed by a small booth called ZeeJewelry🙌🙌👏👏They did an awesome job and were reasonasonablly priced on cost to repair. In addition they have some nice PIECES if your a Jewelry fanatic like myself. They offer layaway and I found a bomb ring for my husband Im going to surprise him on our upcoming ANNIVERSARY👌😄👍
We went to check out ipad pro. Nick Felton was out apple tell who was a delight to interact with. He answered all our questions and we left extremely satisfied.
Just drove all the way into town to be told that I cant spend $1,100 on an overpriced phone without an appointment. What a joke.
Trash! Told me they would take me as a walk in so I drove an hour and half to get there to be told I had to make an appointment…so everyone that randomly asked how my day was going today I’ve told them it’s good besides Fresno Apple store sucks..funny thing is every one of them agreed and said they had problems with them to!
Only had to wait for 10 minutes and the customer service was great.
They always have bad attitudes and they’ll watch you struggle looking for something and either will not approach you to offer help, or they’ll ask if you’re all good but won’t really know much I formation about what you’re looking for. I once told the manager about the employee’s attitude the last day I walked in there, but I have not walked i since then. I just always remember the bad attitude and nonchalant vibes from the staff there, enough to keep me away forever. I’ll never go back there for any reason, no point. If you want good service and expert knowledge of their products, I recommend you avoid this place. Plus, it’s always crowded. Not to mention the security stare at you non stop in the most uncomfortable way.
The staff is friendly and down to earth.
I didnt go into the store I just walked by it so I dont know anything about it
A must for Apple products. Great service.
6 month old phone went out, screen pitch black. Apple takes phone, keeps it 2 hours and of course finds moisture. Thankfully I had insurance with my cell service. Apple stores are completely crooked.
I don’t understand why people have to wait if there is hardly people at the store and there is like 4 employees doing nothing. I was told that I need to wait 2 hours in order to shop. (2 hours while there is hardly people and 4 employees doing nothing) 🤔
Its a little crowded because some of the stores have roped off lines to get into some stores and those lines were full. Which could make a person feel rushed and obligated to go in, get your item, and get out of the store QUICKLY, so you dont look like the a*hole holding up the line. Social distancing doesnt exist except when in some lines at the registers. (ppl still stand by ppl they went with tho, if you are that into s.d.)
Today me and my girlfriend went to fix her iPhone we swap it and then we noticed it had no service so we went back. That’s when we met probably the most helpful/ respectable man didn’t get his name but he 6’4 with some dope low Jordan ones white/black/red color way after he helped us he chased us all the way cross the mall to the t-mobile store to tell us the information he got from asking a Specialist at the Genius Bar I am very thankful and appreciated of his service. Wish I would’ve got his name to mention him in this review but thank you sir we are deeply appreciated.Ps Great guy great personality and good taste in shoes
Wrost service, such a bad experiance
Always my go to for new Apple products.
Great place in a convenient location.
Long waiting and staff doesn’t help well, very annoying 👎
Horrible experience. To get an appointment to enable a disabled phone was weeks. Appointment to purchase a new product is immediate. Greeter at door was horrible and uncaring that my special needs sibling needed her phone. No problem. Getting a new Samsung with awesome service. No more Apple for us.
Store is fine. But you gotta make an appointment (2-4 hrs wait) Staff is friendly and fine. But you cant really shop. You have to stay at your table. So you gotta know what you plan to buy or service or trade in. Its not bad. Just odd.
Cool place, when they first came to fashion fair I was in the first crowd to get in line, and im happy to report im still in that same line, so hopefully Ill be home before next years Christmas
I can’t wait to you guys to come back! Everybody is so thoughtful, friendly and caring.
This is to express my disappointment regrading the service provided in your store. Where I experienced an unprofessional behavior from your employees at the time where I was about to purchase many Apple Products. On Tuesday, November 17th 2020 at around 3:35pm I went to the store stated above, but Margot (one of the sales associates) who was supposed to assist me, was not helping me to get informations about products and was not respectful toward me.The manager of this store was also unfairly trying to intimidate me and was not professional tooI returned the items that I purchased because I felt discriminated because of language, maybe I have a strong accent for them,I felt that my rights as costumer were not respected,A brand store like Apple should have a better costumer service where everyone is treated equally.I ask you to investigate in this case and that official apologies will be addressed toFresno, 11/17/2020
Worst customer service, not punctual
I dont like the brand
Way too expensive for me!
Waited 2 hours for service. Only to try to sell us something!
They dont sell without appointment, disappointed.
Many..many..shops...unfortunately Regis Salon has closed indefinitely...but wait Good News.Bobbie the Hairstylist is at JCPS..he did a fantastic cut n trim for my daughter...made her look 17...nice...great stylist..superb..eye for styling!!! 5 Stars...professional.
Appointments only!!! During the pandemic they have changed the store layout completely around but you wont get in without an appointment.
IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR I WOULD !!! MADE AN 11:20AM APPOINTMENT TO PICK UP MY iPHONE WHICH THEY WERE REPAIRING ...WAS IN LINE BECAUSE STORE HAD NOT OPEN YET NOTE IT WAS 11:15AM PASS TIME TO OPEN ....AFTER 2 HOUR OF WAITING IN LINE NO WORD WAS GIVEN AS WHEN THEY WOULD OPEN OR WHY THEY WERE NOT OPEN ....THERE WAS SOME 45 TO 60 PEOPLE IN LINE AND UPSET. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A COMPANY DISRESPECT IT FAITHFUL CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS BEFORE T.BENNETT
I took my phone because screen went black and had colored lines across the screen. It will still make calls for me but i had to use siri. I took me several visits and long waits before they could tell me my warranty wouldn’t cover my iphone 11 because my phone was exposed to moisture my phone is suppose to be water resistant and has never been exposed to deep water. They Try to sell me another iphone and wanted to keep mine to recycle. I refused to do so. Took my phone to an iphone repair Shop and they opened my phone infront of me. And was told my phone has never been opened before. They replaced my screen and my phone is working fine. Don’t trust what they tell you they are just trying to sell not help you! If i could give negative starts it would be –5 ⭐️
Very helpful and efficient.
Employee lied about reserved time very rude woman. Im done with apple.
Took in a tablet my son gave me. I had tried to delete his stuff and got locked out. They were very kind and helpful. Told me about free classes they give and helped me set up the tablet. I’m not tech savvy so it was very appreciated. I will be attending a photography class tomorrow
Awesome stuff.
There is a lot of staff problem here, no one listens with care and attention here, has to stand in too much weight and get outside weight more.
Products slightly expensive.
Very rude security and staffNever had such a bad experience
FOR SURE NEVER COMING AGAIN.
I assist my sister with post mates so I go pick up the order and she drives usually we don’t have a problem with apple products but today I went in to pick up a order per usual and this time they needed id this isn’t my first time there I’ve picked up at least 5 deliveries and never was told about it until today
I guess Ill go buy an Intel instead
What am I doing?
They only selling expensive phones
Responsible service protecting customers and employees.
Tommy is awesome, everyone else seemed more interested in talking to other employees than helping customers. Tommy was the only one to say anything to me in the hour i was there. he was able to help and check me out while helping another couple while several other employees just talked at the greeting area.
If I could give them zero stars I would, they only care to help those whom have issues with a product or know what they are looking for, two sales reps asked me If I needed help when I was just looking around, when I said no I’m just looking they didn’t even say anything to me or offer to help they just turned their back on me, after I asked them for help they completely ignored me, I’ll never bring my business back to this place, rather get a apple product from an outside party than this place of a joke, bad service... then to top it off the cop who was on “duty” was following me around like If I was gonna run off with something... very bad experience and for the record, when I was outside of the parking lot I was in a pedestrian crosswalk and almost got ran over by a car who had plenty of time to stop as I was going halfway through and the cop didn’t bother doing anything he just ran a stop sign and burned tire, horrible experience overall
I have an SE that wouldnt charge and was out of battery. The representative didnt help but rather tried to sell a new phone to me. When she couldnt sell she didnt want to help anymore. Ive asked to try a new battery to test but she said its probably not going to work and said the processor is old. No sh**. Its an SE used with wifi and not calls. Tip for good customer service: listen to your customer and focus on the issue not sells goals.
Very poor service management is very poor at best. Products are fine but service is very slow and manager is poor at helping I would recommend making a appointment 2 weeks in advance call them to make sure they are able to keep it. Makes no sense have a appointment and wait over 2 hours to be seen don’t have a appointment and you probably won’t be seen.
I would have awarded the service center of this location a minus one star if that option were available.During my extended warranty I began having issues with my desk top. I brought it in for repair and it never worked properly again. When I asked the store manager to rectify the issue they refused. I called corporate headquarters and they refused to get involve. I liked my Apple computer, but I will never buy one again and I will share my experience with any prospective purchasers, loudly.
The earliest appointment I have available is next week. That’s the response I got on a weds when my new iPhone X decided to stop charging. This is the second phone I have had because they had to replace my first one, “hardware issues” I’ve never had so many issues with an iPhone. Never!!! You know as well as I know that our phones play a very important roll in our lives especially when you need your phone to contact your spouse, kids, parents, etc or even applying for a job. I’m very very very upset with the way Apple cares for its customers!!! I am emailing my iPhone and service complaint to Apple. On top of my headache with service and iPhone issues there was some kind of kids camp activity going on inside the store. The children were loud. I’m not blaming the kids because I do have a child of my own, but maybe Apple can hold their kids camp somewhere else other then a place of business. Overall my experience has been extremely discouraging for any future Apple purchases.
She said your phone is working correctly but i am still having issues with the battery of my phone. I have apple care as well. And my phone sometimes automatically turns off again.
Love it
I had a bad store experience (even the person that greeted me was rude). I went in the store and requested to speak to a tech about my phone. My phone would swap screens open and close emails and clearly had software issues. I was told I had to wait 3 hours, so I left the store and returned when I got the text to. I then waited an additional 20 min until the tech came along. While I was waiting 4 people walked in and were told that they would squeeze them in but it could take 30 min. I was very upset at this but just relieved I was seeing someone so I never said anything.Once the tech ran some tests on my phone he said I needed a new screen and have to wait another hour and half or two. I said why cant you replace my phone it appears to be a software issue my screen is works fine. After going back and forth with him he call over his manager ROZ I asked her to replace my phone and she said that she would not and the only option I have was to use my apple care. I said that wasnt fair and not right and I would be out of pocket 99$ for a software issue. Her attitude and response was rude and unsatisfactory. Her excuse when I brought up the other people being squeezed in is that we try to serve all people the same. I then asked to speak to another manager and she told me that she was the only one on site. This process took another 30 minutes and I was forced to use my apple care. Total of 5 hours at the apple store.I never expected to be treated in an apple store this way and expected the employees to have the upmost customer service that I was use to receive when I visit the apple store. I have spent thousands of dollars on apple products this year alone which is verifiable. This apple store needs to have their managers retrained in customer service skills.
Took my Iphone to Fresno apple store in February because screen scrollEd uncontrollably on FB, Google, messages etc. and was told to remove and reload apps with that problem.Returned in March with the problem unresolved. They replaced the screen. Problem persisted but store was closed for covid19. Checked online and found store was open on June 4. Went there in spite of increasing covid19 cases in the area (because my warranty expires on June 8) only to find store closed with no indication of when it would reopen.Phone is obviously defective and should have been replaced on second visit.
Husband and I are Samsung users, but oldest daughter saved for and bought her new iPhone and took us along for advice. I gotta admit, sales staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The place was packed, but they run it like a well-oiled machine.
Apple Is Garbage
Very busy, as expected, but the service was still excellent! They were fast, and when they quoted is a 10 minute wait fine, they were by our side and helping us within 3 minutes.
Rude service. Years ago they used to have really good service but I’ve given up on this store. I don’t mind driving a few hours if I need to visit an apple store in the future. Multiple bad experiences with the helpers being completely disengaged or with lack of knowledge. I’m willing to pay a premium for good service and good product but this isn’t the place for good service.
I got there before it opened and they hooked me up with an appointment right on the spot. As soon as it opened I was helped. The person helping me was very patient. Great Service. It was really easy to have my device fixed, in & out in 10-15 minutes.
4 1/2 hour wait to have technician help to service phone that was resolved in 6 minutes... Over abundance of young crew that were knowledgeable just not professional... only 5 techs available out of a crew of 40 persons or more.
Horrible service, Sensitivity training is definitely needed. I’m Muslim and wear the head scarf, I am also a professional graphic designer. I made eye contact with 4 employees who were just standing around. I was trying to buy a new MacBook Pro and wanted to ask some questions. All four of them physically turned away from me. FYI I have been in Apple stores in Alabama that are nicer and less bigoted than the one in Fresno.
Always helpful and user friendly. Plan ahead if you need an appointment though, long wait
Day #1: our system is down but we can put you on reservation for a iPhone 6. Well let you know when the system is back up.Heard nothing from them.Day #2: we are out of the iPhone 6 you want. But we had a reservation and you didnt contact us. We dont contact anyone. We dont know when the iPhone 6 is coming it. Do you want it or not?Can we get any worse service than that?
Free classes available to learn about ones Apple products with many helpful tips also shared.
I purchased my IPhone 11 Pro Max 256 GM plus Apple care. It is about $1500. However the service I got was very miserable.I choose Apple because of the excellent customer service. It is very sad to see Apple is turning to Microsoft. Hope it is a store related thing. It gave me a very bad taste.
The queue can be long. If you need to get here, please be by the door an hour before the shop opens to get an appointment. Once you are being seen, the staff here are great and pleasant and will do everything to serve you. Great service always!
Fast service was out 10 minutes after the start of by Genius Bar appointment.
This Apple Store is always busy. If you have a problem with your Apple products the wait time is ridiculous long and they’re booked weeks in advance. It seems like they lie about taking walk ins because they told me I had to wait 4 hours and that they usually stop taking walk ins at 5pm. I was thinking to myself that’s the time I’ll be seen, are they even going to see me? There was a lot of people but not that many to wait that long as a walk in. The worker didn’t even look at me when talking to me. I also saw a lot of workers talking and not doing anything, I’m not sure why they couldn’t help me. I advise you to make an appointment if you have issues with your Apple products. If you purchase their products it can be quite the wait too but not as bad as getting help.
The experience was great! Got the airpods I went there for. The only disappointment was they didnt have any bags to carry them in while we continued to shop in the mall. Other than that everything was great and Id recommend them to others.
Didnt have an appointment for my Power Beats that no longer take a charge. Got the 10 minutes before they opened at 950am. 2 reps were already signing people in. I waited 15 minutes, the rep confirmed they wouldnt charge, wrote up an order to have they shipped out to Sac or Cupertino and I should expect them back in about 5days! We were out of there by 1024am. Great customer service. I might actually consider buying an Apple phone in the future just for the customer service.
Johnny on the spot at door point rapid friendly greeting and ask if had an appointment I was sent to genius’s bar. I felt like a king in the square table as well felt treated with respect, my favorite part Apple the stuff it’s very diverse races, cultures, professionalism, pleasant environmental atmosphere experience which made me feel overall great feelings for Apple services especially that my Apple iwatch was genuinely completely fixed software without compromising anything, moreover I got a great deal of attention that I felt I deserve that was will worth Apple care. I recommend making an appointment in store for better service.
Always buying products from there store absolutely its apple my life brand apple is brand great brand
Always crowded and busy, but the wait is well worth it. The manager is brilliant, professional, and always makes sure the customers are taken well care of.
My girlfriend had an issue setting up her replacement 6s plus. Kristen spend an hour helping us out. Always a smile on her face and in good humor.
Went really well. It was a busy day, but I was still able to get the things I needed for my daughter. Really like the student deal for the MacBook Air. I reccomend it😁
Great place to shop.
The Apple Store in the Fashion Fair Mall in Fresno is up to par with what I would expect from Apple. The Products are always up to date and the store participates in all the apple related programs and events. The employees are very nice and helpful but some appear under educated/experienced with Mac Hardware and the Genius bar does not have much technical expertise.
Very crowded, but good service. Fresno is too big of a city to only have one Apple Store. Need locations downtown, Clovis and River Park.
If i could give zero starts i would!! Poor customer service with one specific manager! I needed to drive to another Apple store (Bakersfield) which is definitely out of my way to get the help i needed! Thanks a lot apple for that garbage manager. Wish i remembered his name!
