Chris Rivas VTwin does not stand by their work...I paid $4,000 for a 95” big bore kit to be installed on by Dyna. 1500 miles later I began noticing oil leaks from various covers around the engine. When I called to ask when I could bring it in to have the leaks taken care of I was told I’d be charged at shop rate because it had been more than 90 days. Mind you, the bike was built in the middle of January when the weather doesn’t permit riding. My receipt shows $500 just for “gasket surface cleaning” that was “required” to prevent leaks. These guys are scam artists, the price out the door is never what you’re told up front and there’s almost always an attitude to follow. You’d be wise to spend your money elsewhere. (UPDATE after owners response) The photos included are date stamped May 30th (only 5 months after work was completed. Mind you the engine sat on a stand in my garage for 3 months while gathering parts for my build) Instead of correcting their mistake and losing 2 hours of labor on a $3,700 invoice they chose to argue with me. Any reputable high dollar shop would do whatever they could to keep customers happy maintain positive reviews. Heed my warning.

Excellent shop! They worked on my M8 several times and each time they were fair and outstanding. Looking forward to doing business on my older bikes.

Chris Rivas use to be a name synonymous with quality aftermarket Harley engines. Regrettably those appear to be only true of days past. Fresno residents will have to now travel for honest, premium Harley performance.

I was caught off guard when the owner was rude and arrogant when I asked questions to try and understand the process. Definitely not what I was expecting from a business with seemingly good reviews. Unless you’re willing to write a blank check you’ll likely experience the same discourteous behavior, sad to say.

So there was a mixup with the phones. Apparently the rep who answered couldn’t hear me and the phones were malfunctioning. He called me back as soon as his phones were up and running. Great customer service.

I have zero concerns when I leave my bike with Chris Rivas. The work is always top quality at a fair price. Bar none, the best.
