They try to charge you for services that you car does not need. I went in for an oil change at 5pm by appointment. I left the place at 640 (100 minutes for an oil change?!) Whats worse is that they said transmission service and wheel alignment needs immediate attention. My car doesnt need a transmission service for another 1200 miles minimum (its usually done every 30k miles). Also, I got the alignment check from Just Tires (as good as it gets for tire service) 2 days later. And they said that the alignment is almost perfect!!!Find another service center unless you wanna spend extra $$ for no reason.
Honda is great, even this time there was a glitch on their side so they did my repair for free even though it wasn’t their fault. Great service.

The service department is always professional, thorough, and timely. I always schedule my service appointment in advance and in doing that, it makes for a more efficient visit. This is the only location that I go to for service.
It all began with the very first interaction I experienced with your service advisor, Dylan Flatt. I have visited your service department three times in the past year and two of those visits I was assisted by Dylan. Compared to other advisors from other Honda service department locations in the Dallas, Rockwall, Kaufman, Tarrant, Denton, and now Collin Counties I really enjoy doing business with Dylan. He has been very welcoming each time, and most importantly genuinely honest - in twenty five years I havent found that in many advisors. Dylan explains everything in detail and with ease, calming the skepticism and fear of deception by dealership service. This belief in Dylan is what allowed me to trust your service technicians advisement report. Most customers know beforehand issues that require attention with their vehicle, but the truth is a customer who values their vehicle will prefer a dealerships mechanical service and skill set; however, because of historical and ongoing dishonesty by most services it is extremely difficult for a customer to trust anything other than an oil change by a dealership service department. More so, because at every visit if assisted by a different advisor, each advisor will say something different and charge differently resulting in skepticism by the customer. My visit to David McDavid Service Department boiled down to honesty/transparency, genuineness, affordability, and technicians skill set and quality of work - with exception of affordable pricing during this pandemic I feel that I received all of that by your service department. So, thank you for hiring Dylan Flatt.
As always, my service advisor, Sergio Guerra took good care of my needs. He is fantastic, always attentive and very professional. He took the time to explain to me all the details on what my service request was going to consist of. Sergio always goes above and beyond my expectations. He makes the customer experience at David Mc. David a unique one.
Don’t try to buy a car from zxxxk, the greenest salesman ever! I went to the shop twice and everything was promised for this purchase and he told me the car I would like to buy was sold…why not told me the truth in the beginning?
Extremely condescending staff...comes from their Manager I think. I would never buy a HONDA again because I dread dealing with customer service like this. One time I had an agent Sergio and he was decent. Their Mgr Tony is decent. Stay away from Dylan.
I was having issues with my airplay connection in my new Honda Accord. I stopped by there yesterday without an appointment and asked the service department if they could help me. Nych Warren came out and knew exactly what the issue was since he had the same car. He had me fixed up and even gave me a little lesson on how to use features.Really appreciate the great service and allowing me to just pop in there and get it taken care of.
I change my Oil normally, however last time I found that my oil drain plug was rusted and I couldn’t open, I took my Honda to the service and I explained to them that reason I am here because I can’t open my drain plug and ask them to change my drain plug, a few months later my Honda’s service was due again and I went to change my oil and guess what I found? They never changed the oil drain plug and my car was using the same old rusty drain plug that I couldn’t open in the past.They broke the trust when they decided to be cheap and not decide $5 worth of oil drain plug.They lost my business, make sure you know your cars stuff before you go there.
Finance guy - ‘Tobe Abbs’ and Finance Director - ‘Brandon Lemar’ should learn how to be respectful and not arrogant.They should be fired immediately to prevent McDavid Honda’s reputation.Took some time to come to agreeable numbers for purchase with sales-guy Allen. But all the time, he was friendly. But when we went to Finance-guy,He had attitude since the first minute. Trying to be a tough guy in each words. We asked simple questions like : Why need insurance before we talked about the final amount and interest rate? (At this time we had already purchased insurance but we were not shown interest rate and amount)How many lenders did you run the credit with? What are the downpayment and interest rate options?With each responses, he attacked at us. Not giving a simple answer. No comfort, no smile, no friendliness. Nothing. Stone-cold arrogant. When we asked for a different finance manager, director jumped in and started backing his boy.Left that hostile place in the middle. Worst experience i ever had in my life. Such a shame.
I had a bad bad experience there. My car had a D3 light flashing so I went for their inspection. After inspection they gave me an estimate for repair, which was not affordable for me at that time, so I delayed the repair to next month. After they gave my car back, it was not in driving condition, the D3 flashing problem got worse and I could not take out the key from the car. The guy told me it was the same problem and it got worse I dont think I deserve my problem to be worse just because I denied to repair it on the same day. I could get my car back in the same condition. It was very very disappointing for me as I had to keep my car on overnight, having battery drained for nothing and I also had to watch my car overnight for theft or other worse things, as it had the keys inside. They should be more responsible and sincere with customers.
I went for alignment and oil change and i was told that a service advisor would come over. But after 15 min of wait no one showed and i went inside and spoke to advisor who told me they couldn’t service my car since I was not dropping my car. Why someone didnt tell me this thing as soon as I drove in? Appointments are not required and with appointments in past I had waited 2-3 hrs. This service department needs to streamline the process and start using simple technologies to manage things.
Quality service and communication was continually consistent. I am very satisfied and overall amazed with the customer service I was provided with, while my Ridgeline was being serviced.

Great service!!! Mike Rowe was the Service Advisor I worked with. Little did he know when we met that I was pretty upset with a problem we were having with my wifes Accord. Mike listened VERY calmly & patiently as I (not so calmly) explained why I was there. To make a long story short, he said, Ill do everything I can to help you out - and I believed him - and he did. Great job Mike!!!

I take my car for you mechanical service and recently took my Honda Civic there.This place always have a great customer service but I know some people do not care about the dealership business they just want to earn money and commissions they do not care about customers. Was In for a quick drop off n loaner car today. Took an hour for them to get around to setting up the loaner and then i waited another 10 minutes so it could be washed even though they knew HOURS in advance that i would need it
Sergio, my advisor at the Honda service department, assured me that I will be taken care of after I was given a huge list of items that needed repairs. The cost of everything was very intimidating at first but after talking to Sergio, he did some extra research for me that I wouldve done for myself. He also gave me time to make a decision. Trust me, he kept his promise and took care of me and my needs first. Their vehicle loaner program was also a big help since my car almost took a week to repair. They have an exceptional, friendly team and superb service! I highly returning and for others to go there.
