Although I love all Apple Products, I am not a big fan of waiting at the Apple store for an iPhone repair, computer sales, screen repairs, or any other MAC issue. I heard about Experimax Gaithersburg from a student at Gaithersburg High School which is close by. I walked in and had my iPhone screen repaired and new memory added to my MacBook in less than 30 minutes. I stood outside the Apple store longer at the mall just to get on the appointment list.If you need any type of Apple computer repair or iPhone repair, check out this local Gaithersburg business. Despite being located far for me, was worth the drive. Not always easy to obtain tech services during the pandemic, but for my new charger and computer related questions and concerns they were quick, efficient, helpful, and kind. Couldnt ask for more. Will gladly be returning again.

A little disappointing. I hope this is just a phase associated with just starting up. They dont have stock..and the employees seemed a little uninterested in my business. I eventually bought my charger from Amazon after being given the runaround. 😐.I hope they get better.

Brought my Mac in do to a failing hard drive and had a great experience. Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating with my issues. They fixed my computer very quickly and I highly recommend this place if you have any issues with your computer.

It took me almost 6 months to make arrangements to be able to afford a new laptop. Ive visited the store very frequently, and I asked many questions. When I made my decision to finally pick out a laptop they were incredibly helpful and taught me everything I needed to know. It was not long and I went back to purchase a Apple Watch. The first one just happen to be the runt of the litter and it just didnt work. They immediately took back the watch and quickly ordered me a replacementDavid is amazing and he really knows stuff. I am so happy to finally have a go-to computer repair technician/company! I have owned a recording studio for over 20 yrs and am a Realtor and R.I. investor so I have multiple computers and so much private and sensitive client info so cant leave my computer with anyone. Ive had the hardest time finding good mac technicians! Ive had unreliable or expensive techs come and go and Apple is my absolute LAST resort due to expensive price, inconvenient appointments, no time to go down there and sit around, etc. David scheduled to have someone come to the studio quickly and the technician Nick diagnosed my issue within 20 mins and was able to resolve my hard drive issue at a very reasonable price. It is such a relief that my computer issues will never be a stress again because I can just call these guys who will handle it without breaking my pockets. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Went I to the Gaithersburg location already knowing what I wanted the associate that worked with me was there to answer any questions or concerns that i may have had. This is an excellent place to take your Apple items. I took my MacBook Pro 2010 yesterday due to a problem I had with OS X UTILITIES after my husband try to fix the computer himself. Not only they fixed within a day; the price is also so affordable compare to others quotes I got. The staff is very professional and will keep you update about every details. I will definitely be coming back.

It was purchased in the store the Iphone 8 Plus unlocked. Arriving in Brazil the chip did not work, and had all the inconvenience to send back and get another device. After much work to get the device was taken back to Brazil and what happened? Locked again. It was tested with an American chip and was working, but here in Brazil it is still blocked. And on top of that the cell phone is jumping alone the screens, it was sent video and tried to talk and solve peacefully, but unfortunately they do not want to help ....

I am amazed with this place I try out because my friend refers me here to fix my daughter iPhone 6 screen but the service was professional fast and the GM Heath Worthinton is very professional and not only that he had the device ready an 1 hour looking like new like nothing happen this is the place to go 100% the best top levels.

Very poor customer service, the receptionist did not have a clue of anything I asked and had to go in the back for my 3 answers, and did not know what she had or hadnt in stock. Jack the technician on the other hand, was phenomenal. 1 star because of her.

I bought several iphone covers, and adapters from Experimac for my in-laws. Despite the fact that I am not completely savy with apple products; they were able to assist me in the product that most suited my in-laws needs. They were patient, and highly attentive.

I bought a MacBook Pro for my son and in iPad for my daughter for Christmas from these folks. The prices were reasonable. I had a couple of issues, one with a MacBook Pro and the other w/ an iPad. They resolved the issue with the computer and replaced the iPad. I would recommend double checking purchases prior to leaving the store, make sure everything works including sound and theres no passwords, and ensure everything is setup the way it is supposed to be. The people were courteous and friendly, providing good customer service.

After sleuthing the internet using an incredibly slow PC to find one that didnt cost $1,500.00, I came across Experimac. The listed prices seemed too good to be true, so I called them. Ethan, the GM, greeted me on the phone with enthusiasm and answered all of my questions with incredible patience. He explained financing and cash purchase options that made sense and, like a true sales professional, agreed to have me come in fifteen minutes before close (I work in sales also and know how perturbing this is). But nevertheless he encouraged me to come in and close the deal.Done.There were a few things that needed to be modified on my new iMac, but instead of making an appointment and having me return at a later time, Ethan got to work and began transferring RAM, from one iMac to another, along with a full screen replacement -- LONG AFTER THE STORE HAD CLOSED.Ethan went above and beyond my expectations. Pricing on my new iMac was downright crazy, and in the end resulted in Experimac gaining another loyal customer. They even have complimentary bottled water (you can choose between room temp and cold)!If youre in the market for RELIABLE refurbished Apple products (MacBook, iPhone, iMac, etc.) and want to have piece of mind in your purchase, Ethan and Experimac is your go-to solution.
