Kudos to Tom and his staff, especially Sam and Phil for helping me out with a bad license plate bolt. They worked on it (NO CHARGE!) for almost 30 minutes until getting the desired result. I was always under the impression that Midas would kinda be expensive due to my past experiences at different locations. But this store right here has the best prices and staff especially their Manager, Tom! Unbelievable guy. His interaction with me and other customers while I was there was so enlightening personally for me as a student in Business Administration. My car had issues with the engine and he quickly sprung into action and found the fault (and the best way to solve it) almost immediately. You guys have earned a loyal customer, keep up the great work.

Dave is an honest and hard working guy! I went in for a oil change and ended up desperately needing two new tires! Even though the shop was VERY busy, he went above and beyond to get the tire size I needed from another location within the hour!I felt grateful because this was later in the day, and I was on my way to Wisconsin. Also, considering how busy the shop was and that they didnt have my tire size in stock, he could have easily asked me to come back another time. But Dave got the job done right then and there. Great service, and I highly recommend this place for any maintenance needs.

This Midas location is absolutely wonderful. They take care of your car and make sure that everything is good to go before you leave the lot. Both managers Dave, and Tom were upbeat, transparent and kept me entertained my entire visit, and for the wait gave me a discount for my oil change! I have been going to this location for a couple of years and have always been very happy with service and staff. Recently I called there and was not sure if they would be open due to the state of everything gong on and the stay at home order. I knew I needed brakes and then after 3 weeks at home I went the grocery store for some supplies and had a warning light on. I called Midas and spoke to Tom. He said they were open and offered to pick the car up at my house. I left in my driveway that morning with keys inside. They arrived promptly (using mask, gloves and steering wheel protector) and brought the car in. Tom telephoned me with results and price (very reasonable I thought it was be a lot more). They returned the car that afternoon with all work done, it was wonderful. I would highly recommend Midas, they are really professional and a pleasure to work with.

I had work done on my Catalytic converter. They not only diagnosed the problem, they fixed it for me the same say. Thank you.

I took my car here for an AC recharge and I must say that the customer service over the phone and in person was superb! Tom is an awesome manager! Hes very friendly and welcoming, and took the time to explain everything to me. This will be my new go-to spot for any services needed for my car. They were able to get my car in and out in no time with no issues. I felt very comfortable there and didnt feel that anyone was trying to get over on me. Had a very good experience in service and price - exceeded my expectations. Dave took the time to explain in detail the problem and provided me with options. I didnt feel pressured or misinformed or being taken advantage of. All I can say is that attention to detail is very important to me (last experience for my car service was last week at Glendale Nissan and they totally screwed up - they forgot to put back two out of the five lug nuts on the wheel after a simple tire rotation, thank god my wife and daughter didnt get into an accident!). This is definitely my new car service place for sure. Will be taking in my other cars at this Midas location. If I had to describe every aspect of the service I received at Midas, Id need to write a book. The best thing I can say is: Ive never been disappointed with the service received at Midas. Im a return customer and plan to return for emergency, as well as maintenance repairs.

I’ve been taking my cars to this specific Midas location in Glendale Heights for many years. They have always given me the most honest diagnoses, the fairest prices, done quality work, and the one time I had a problem a year later with faulty brake rotors they stood behind the warranty. I highly recommend.

Brought my car in to get it ready for a couple roads trips coming up and I was very pleased with the quality of service at this location. The staff was upfront and honest about what needed to be done and they did a lot of maintenance and repairs for my 10 year old Mazda at a reasonable price. After driving it all week, Im happy to say its running and handling better than ever, and I have no worries about taking it on some long road trips next month. Highly recommend this location.

After several visits, this Midas location ticks all of the right boxes for me. I find their opinions on work to be honest. Prices are fair and comparable, if not better than most. No matter who is running the front counter, they have always been friendly and in good spirits even when they are clearly swamped. On top of all of this they are excellent with communication before, during, and after the work is complete. Really could not ask for more from any mechanic.

Im giving the shop 5 stars with a caveat. I towed in my yellow PT Cruiser after it started smoking from under the hood with a strong acrid smell and quit a block away from the shop. Anthony was super friendly and fun, and the woman I spoke with was friendly and accommodating, so customer service was 5 stars with a bonus star. The tow service they recommended, Veterans Towing and Recovery were quick, very friendly, and respected my vehicle. The tow process was painless, so 5 stars and a bonus star for that. Now the caveat. My vehicle was unfortunately misdiagnosed as unrepairable. It was thought that the car had a bent valve which destroyed the motor. I was ready to donate the car, but my dad is an auto mechanic (he lives an hour away which is why I brought it to Midas) and said he wanted to look at it himself first. Turns out the AC Compressor clutch froze. My dad cut off a belt and it started right up. The reason I still gave five stars is because my dad said that is something that will fool even the most experienced mechanic so nearly any shop probably would have made the same mistake. It was a mistake that would have been very expensive for me, trashing my PT Cruiser and purchasing a new vehicle, so I just ask that they learn from this and check the AC Compressor clutch next time they get a motor that wont work. I would bring my car back here since that was a tricky issue.

This office offers an impressive level of service. Work is performed quickly, proficiently and for reasonable cost.I am most impressed that they even remember my name after just a few visits - which means Im either really memorable... or a nuisance.

This is my favorite place to get my cars oil changed and tires rotated. The staff is super friendly (especially the manager) and theyre always really quick. They never pressure you into buying anything you didnt come in for.

Went in for a noise coming from the front drivers side wheel that sounded like a bad bearing hub or CV joint. The service was great and the staff very personable. They spent their time looking at the vehicle and in the end it was a small rock and loose lug nuts causing the noise. Problem was fixed and I wasnt even charged for them to find the problem. I will be going back to this shop for all of my service. Thank you Midas.

My muffler was loud so I went in to have it checked. They told me my catalic converter and manifold needed to be replaced. I was quoted over $1300 for parts and labor. I got a second opinon and my muffler needed a flex pipe and a motor mount. The toltal for that with parts and labor was $280. If I wouldve let midas replace the manifold and catalic converter I wouldve still had to come back to replace the flex pipe and motor mount. I am a woman, but definitely not an ignorant one. I know enough about cars to know when Im being played. Sad thing for Midas is that I wont be back, even for an oil change.

This place is a hidden gem. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their prices are also friendly. I brought in my van for a timing belt replacement a few months back. Everything went well and without any drama. Unfortunately I cant remember the managers name but hes a super nice guy. I highly recommend this shop to everyone!

My son came into this place not thinking or doing his homework on a repair job on his car.So he came into Midas to get his windshield wipers fix,cause they stop working and they charge him close to 400.00 to repair his wipers to get them going,but the mess up part he comes home with only the driver side working and I was piss,so I told him to take it back to fix the other one and a week pass and the one they did do stop working,so my son is driving a car with no wipers and last night a storm hit,so no wipers and he out delivering pizza in a car with no wipers that midas supposedly have done,but was not done correctly, so Im here today to make sure it get done correctly.

Update: Theyll screw you if they can.Went in to replace O2 sensors and rear bank spark plugs. Employees were very helpful and service was quick. Took the extra time to investigate a sound that I had noticed off cold start. Will be returning for future work.

On the occasions I need repairs I feel very safe taking my vehicles to this shop location because the work is done quickly but most importantly correctly and we are always treated with respect and as if we were personal friends of all the employees 😄👍

I made an on line appointment which was never confirmed. I showed up a few minutes prior to my appointed time. After waiting in the lobby for nearly 10 minutes to be greeted I left and went elsewhere. This is not the first time I have experienced bad service at this store. Ok First Off, I Have 2 Say When I First Started Going There, They Were Great, 1 Of The Managers Named Dave Was GREAT, He Left & 1 of The Other Managers Took Over & I Had Them Do Suspension Work on My 2014 Dream Truck, Witch Was EXPENSIVE & About A Month After Having IT Done, I Heard Noises Up Front, So Me Being Disabled, I Crawled Under The Truck & Found No Grease, Was Put N after Installation, So I Went Inside My Condo & Got My Grease Gun & Used 2 Tubes Of Grease & Called & Talked 2 The Manager & Told Him About IT & He Said Well We Should Have, We Normally Do, But I Said Well I Used 2 Grease Tubes & His Response, Oh Im Sorry So They Lost A Family of Customers & All My Friends, My Suggestion, IF U have Something Done There, Make Sure It Gets Done Properly, Cause They Could Of Wrecked My $70, K Truck & Who Knows What Would of Happened If My 3 Small Children Where N The Truck If Something Broke On The Front Suspension / Steering Components

Went in for an oil filter change, tire rotation, and to have the windshield wipers replaced, and the very next day after my visit i had white smoke coming from under the hood and one of the windshield wipers wasnt attached properly and broke off. I had to ask a buddy of mine who is a mechanic to look at it and he had to re-do the oil filter change since the cap was loose and it was leaking oil, along with replacing the windshield wiper that broke off. Avoid this place at all costs.

MY usual guy Tom wss not there and the manager told the mechanics to shut off the car and then turn on headlights before testing the battery, this seemed very un ethical and of course it came up bad cells I think I was blind sided
