I love this place. Great hours, friendly service, clean, safe (surprisingly considering the area of town), insurance is a must, rules are reasonable and make me feel safe and that my things are safe. Very spacious units and climate controlled.... What ever you need to move is available there for purchase down to the truck! The best part is truly the price! And the convince 5am to 9pm.

Its an older facility and the outdoor spaces get very hot and very wet when it rains however, the staff is so nice and very accommodating. I appreciate the personal attention they give.

The owner/manager becomes a whiney girl when it comes to communication. They add on unnecessary fees and if you forget about the bill since there isnt any electronic notification or bill mailed he whines when having the simplest discussion. I have never ever experienced talking to a man that whines doing business. Stay far far away, their facility is ghetto and they dont even have great prices. Save yourself the hassle and headache. I am going to pay $40 more monthly just to avoid the nonsense.

Glendale Self Storage was the best storage place me and my friend found after calling places for over 2 hours.They actually had the size we needed, the property seemed secure and well maintained, the folks running it were very friendly and helpful, and it was by far the lowest priced facility in town!Id reccomend Glendale Self Storage to anyone needing to store belongings and not wishing to spend a fortune.

The staff is very nice and helpful. Online bill pay for your unit is available. Gate access hours are generous, but not 24hours. Overall I approve of this personal storage business. Plus several unit sizes to pick from with good prices.

I think the responses to customers complaints are very unprofessional. I do not have a unit here, but I read a few of your responses and they seem inappropriate to address these issues in manner in which you did. Just an outsider providing some constructive criticism.

Very picky manager; she gets upset about the most insignificant things. Unprofessional and rude as well. If you are even a day late on your payment, they add a late fee and lock up your unit. Units are advertised as cooled units when in actuality there are only a couple of coolers on the second floor that do nothing against the hot weather outside. The doors to the units upstairs can be compared to closet doors; very easy to break into. Anyone who left more than 3 stars probably got paid or are most likely the mangers themselves. Go somewhere else if you can. P.S.: My mothers name is in the system, not mine

This is my go to storage facility. Clean, great staff and very secure. If you need a great place to store your stuff this is the place.

Dee was very polite and friendly, she answered all my questions very thoroughly and showed me the two storage units I was interested in so I would be able to make my decision. The facility was clean and well maintained! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a storage facility!

I needed a unit for just 1 month, Josh was extremely helpful, made the entire process easy and effortless. They have cameras all over the facility and a keypaded gate. Had my stuff in storage upstairs with the evaporated cooler. Was really satisfied with the unit and the shape of my belongings after about one year. Had needed for 3 months, but ended up needing more time for my house. Glad if paid the little bit extra, had lots of baby clothes and personal items stored.

I drove barely 50 miles but get charged $121 bucks?? Somebody needs to address this right now before I come in

The storage room that I rented was clean. The managers there are very friendly and it is a safe place. Dont have to worry about anyone who isnt a renter being in the area. Every renter has their own code to get in and out of the storage area. I would use this place again if need be.

Had an excellent experience getting our new storage unit. Prices were reasonable. Facility was clean and well maintained. Carla in the front office made the transaction very smooth. The security at this facility appeared to be very tight as well, which gave my wife and I great peace of mind.

Very nice storage facility! Desk clerk was very helpful with getting me set up with a unit. Office is nice and cool, especially since it was 100° out. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Wonderful management

Do not rent a unit from these people. My unit was broken into and anything of value was taken. I live in another state and wanted to terminate the rental. I said they can just sell or discard anything that the thieves didnt take. I am still being charged for the unit . They will ruin my credit if I stop paying. I have to take time off of work and pay to go to Arizona to discard whats left and terminate the rental. Talk about adding insult to injury. I was upset and asked if they could wave the late fees. They said that they werent going to do anything. They would only do what they were required to do by law. I guess they arent required by law to be descent human beings. I have had the storage unit for over four years. I am in management in the hospitality field, I would never treat a customer the way I was treated. Especially when they are upset. FYI they are privately owned and only answer to themselves so there is no recourse for complaints.

If I can leave no stars I would they are VERY unprofessional and rude please do not do business with this storage location find a better one...

Was happy as a camper here for 10 years, until new company took over ownership. Rate was hiked more than double, notice of increase wasnt received and when I tried to get assistance on the matter, Carla was rude, short and unwilling to help correct a bad situation, even gave me the wrong dimensions of my unit. BE AWARE: #49 leaks from the cement up. Save Yourself The Stress, Go Elsewhere!

Great prices, they had the just the size of storage I needed without having to spend a bunch of money at a nationally known facility. Always shop local! Definitely recommend!

We have had a storage unit here for about 5 years. It has been under new management for the last few months. We appreciate the new gate system which allows us to access our storage unit earlier or later in the day. I have also noticed that the new owners are now also a uhaul dealership. The upgrades to the gate and other improvements explain the recent price increase that we were notified of last month. They did give us 2 months notice, which is fair. We will be leaving this storage facility, but only because we are moving out of our condo into a house and no longer need extra storage area. The service with the new management seems just as good as it was with previous management, and again, the extended hours and upgraded gate justify the rent increase in my opinion.

I have been renting from them for 4 years and they are wonderful to work with, I recommend that anyone who needs a storage unit in Phoenix or Glendale rent from them.

I did feel comfortable using this storage until a rude staff member started talking to me like I was a dog...this happened on June 1st 2018. I will be seeking a conversation with the owner about this woman. I would not suggest this place at all. I gave notice that June will be my last month of payment and I will be moving my things somewhere else.

Just got a unit here, so far very impressed with the security! The doors are a little old, wish they were metal doors but for the price it is great!

I been with them since 2012 they always been nice I never had a problem and one time the manager of the place even put aside a lock for me since I always lost my key for the few locks I had and at one point only charge me 10 bucks rather then the full cost which would had been 20

Are there any requirements to able to store my stuff in here?

I have had a unit at this places for well over two years. When I arrived, the original managers were kind, and very helpful. Dee, the new person stated that there really was no benefit to TRANSFER from one unit to another, other than a few days of proration. I asked about several scenarios, ASKING “ why would I want to transfer all in the same day, if only to save administrative fees?”. I said I would have the original, unit empty by the first, she said no problem, as long as I was switching to another unit at that facility, if I went over the first, there would only be a small prorated fee. She reserved a U-Haul from her sister company. I showed up where she told me to and after an hour and a half, was never helped. I went back, paid full price for a U-Haul, but was required to return it by within 6 hours. I completed the storage by the 28th of July, and was told I needed to turn in 10 day notice. So now, I have to “ possess” storage for the ten days before surrendering, even though I would have surrendered storage by first. Because Dee had already explained about proration, I wasn’t bothered too much. When we went to check out of original storage on the 2nd, even though it was early, we were charged the entire month’s fee. I called left message, Dee returned call, and she was IMMEDIATELY defensive. She chastised me, talking over me, demanding I not Accuse her of lying. I tried to repeat verbatim our conversation, and how I asked her in Multiple ways, and gave several scenarios about why it would be beneficial to transfer my belongings from one shed to another in the same day. and tried to remind her what she said, that I “ might have to pay a few extra days on your original storage if it’s not completely empty the same day”. She didn’t allow me to speak. She continually talking down to me. I asked to speak to a manager, she said it’s just her and Josh (?). “ I’m all you’ve got. There is no one else” I asked if she owned the place, she spoke over me, “ nope, I’m the only one you can speak to”. Over and over she demanded I stop calling her a liar, defensively, very pushy and agressive. I then asked for whatever U-Haul number she had, she still spoke over me, telling me to be quiet and stop accusing her of lying. I just wanted a number, she refused. I Told her I didn’t deserve to be talked to like that, I will find a number to put in complaint, and I hung up. About ten minutes later, I received an email telling me I will be required to remove my belongings by the end of the month, because I accused her of lying, when the truth is I was terminated because I informed her I would be placing a formal complaint against her. That is clearly retaliation. These people will respond to this with another rendition about how I was to them, and how kind they were, as I have noticed from anyone else who has complained about their abusive treatment to clients (please read other reviews, they have each other’s backs) but be aware of the evidence. I have paid over $4,000 to this place with ZERO problems with other management, now they ( the new management) seems to have problems that never existed. Now, even though they charged me additional fees to move into a shed four days ago, I am being kicked out because I said I was going to submit a complaint. Beware, if you have a complaint, you will be kicked out also. I will be glad to provide the emails as evidence.

Family related event needed storage, the office is rarley available and an error on the facilitys part resulted in charges for an extra month which was not needed and supposed to be cancelled but never was. Buyer beware. Ask many questions about policies. Be sure to take your lock off..... 😉
