Went to replace a broken phone today. However I did not have an appointment there were 2 employees sitting on their phones. Store closes at 7pm. I was there at 6:25pm.For the last 25 minutes there has been 0 customers, still just the two employees sitting there on their phones doing nothing.To me that is piss poor customer service. If they have appointments it is one thing, so be it. But 0 customers have gone in. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for 10 years. I will be changing services tomorrow.

Had to go to corporate they did nothing I thought they would unlock my phone.The retail store did the same. Said they couldnt see my info. I believe they cant see it just wanted them to reset phone erase it and start over. I had a friend who would unlock phones tablet and other devices.He would get on his computer and not even being on the dark web. He could make most of items go away he couldnt see all the info either so he would just erase it all then reset the phone then put back the apps to make it work. They just wanted to sellO stuff the retail store was helping more than corporate .they just wanted to sell.the corporate gave harder sales pitches then retail. Corporate means better sales than retail. Just a word to call the better sales people.

Poor customer service. The rep had zero clue about anything and did the absolute bare minimum. I understand we are in trying times, but he wasnt even friendly or knowledgeable. We were the only customers in the store as well, and youd think they were swamped the way this dude was acting. Its a shame too because the other people working there seemed friendly and somewhat knowledgeable.

I went in today for help with my map app on my samsung that was a couple years old and Gabby helped me get a new Note 10 and showed me how to transfer everything from my old phone, so that I could do it from the comfort of my own home! She was the most genuine person Ive ever worked with at Verizon. If you need a new phone, go to this store and ask for her. You wont be disappointed.

This store is riddled with barely competent staff. When I changed service I was told that I would be receiving a $ 150 Gift Card. Jeremy B stated that I would need service for 45 days, then card would be issued. Nothing was said about applying online within 30 days to be able to receive. My return visit yesterday to find all this out was futile, as I was given a phony rebate code knowing it would not work. Seems par for the course now days. Not a Fan !

If you come to this location, don’t go to customer service Rep Sam. He ordered a phone for my dads upgrade, and was told 2 days. A week later no phone. And Verizon didn’t have a clue where the phone was.Had to upgrade using another line and was told it would be overnight and the fee would be waived as the first phone never shipped per another customer service rep/employee . Sam ordered another 2 day shipping and we waited another 5 days for a phone to arrive!They indicated they would cancel the last phone that wasn’t shipped and it wouldn’t show up on our phone bill as it takes 2-3 days to cancel and we would be able to see credit for an activation fee as we paid 2x for.My bill comes 2 weeks later, I have no credit, and I have two new phone charges on two lines when we only upgraded one phone.I’ve gone into the store 2x and talked to multiple online agents. I was told it was handled. And I am yet again, on the phone resolving issues over a week later.Absolutely horrible horrible service and such an inconvenience.

I just left the Gresham, OR store after Sam was unable to help me get on the senior citizen plan or the discount whichever it is. I was told on the phone by customer service on Wednesday that I had to go into the store to get that service. Sam told me he hadnt seen that offered for the last three months. I see it on the company website. I wasnt buying anything for him to make commission on so he was uninterested in helping me. I saw him standing there for 20 minutes before he came over to me doing nothing. That is poor customer service.

Went to the store to get my retail installment contract so I could switch to T-mobile, Because Verizon likes to surprise you with hidden fees and give you the run around anytime you call customer service. The store had a very strong canabis smell and the manager printed the wrong paper work. Two of the employees were taking pictures of me and talking to each other making me very uncomfortable. Im so glad I dont have to go there ever again because Im now a happy T-MOBILE customer. TO ANYONE READING THIS DO NOT GET YOUR SERVICE FROM VERIZON THEY ARE THE NAZIS OF THE PHONE WORLD.

I’m dissatisfied with the customer service here at this location.I was looking to upgrade my phone when I noticed my iPhone was eligible for upgrade, having only 5 payments left on my iPhone 7. I wanted to update my phone to the iPhone XR before my baby arrives in July, to make sure I have great pictures of her and to enhance my business, as I am a hairstylist that does a lot of scheduling through her phone and marketing through social media.I called the Gresham location twice to confirm my upgrade and find out the steps to take. I was told I could upgrade early and trade in my iPhone 7, my iPhone 7 trade in value would cover my upgrade fee and any remaining balance I had on my phone (the 5 months left).After those two phone calls, I went to this location- which is 30 minutes from my house but the closest option, and was then told I had to pay the upgrade fee in person and could not add it to my bill, but my trade in value would cover the cost of my remaining amount. My pay day was the following day, so I decided to return when I had the upgrade fee readily available.I returned today (another 30 min drive) and was told I not only had to pay the upgrade fee upfront, but also the remaining amount on my phone before they would give me my new phone.... not expecting to spend almost $200 to upgrade, I was sent on my way with a “sorry there has been so many miscommunications but we can’t help you today.”I understand policy but wish that all customer service reps had given me the same information, and as a customer of nearly 13 years, found a way to accommodate me. Especially, because my iPhone 7 is very obviously in great condition for trade in.

I had an awesome experience with this store. I walked in late afternoon on a Saturday. There were at least 3 people ready to help me and I was greeted politely at the door. I needed to update my smart phone that was over 2 years old. But I wanted the chance to look at various phones before deciding. They gave me that chance look but were available for questions nearby. I decided on a phone and the process to switch over went very smoothly. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is there were a ton of emails that went to my husbands email acct due to update and they seem very confusing...Verizon could improved on that process but this store is great.

Walked in, and stood around for a few minutes trying to get someones attention for help. Finally I asked who I talk to. Got on the list. Waited about 10 minutes which was fine.When it was my turn for help, the guy (didnt get his name) spent two minutes trying to transfer my contacts to my other phone and said he couldnt. He then said I could go to Best Buy to get a device to see if it could transfer. I questioned that it seemed odd that he offer that since I bought my phone from the Verizon store and he got defensive and said he didnt even have to offer me that. (He sent me somewhere else and said he didnt have to do that!).I also wanted help with changing my service plan and canceling a phone as I have 2. I was told to just call 611 and talk to them. So basically I got no help tonight. It makes me wonder if they just purposefully put me off because today i was asking to change my plan to save money and THEY were not profiting today. Im pretty disappointed. I mean, Ive been a customer a long time and spend a fortune at Verizon. Im not impressed.

I understand the long wait because its a busy store in an area that has a lot of foot traffic but I dont think I should have to wait forty five minutes on top of the hour that I already waited the previous day to have screen protector applied. I had to come back because the associates failed twice to put a screen protector on my phone. Im probably going to have to come back here because its the closest corporate store but Ill greet my visits to this store with as much enthusiasm as a visit to the DMV.

I wasnt really given much help or information that I hadnt already Googled myself. I came in September wanting to switch to Android after having had an iPhone for 6 years. I was really hoping the associates would be able to explain in more detail what the various Android phone specs were, but it was all the same information I found on Google, therefore not helpful because it wasnt information that was really personalized for my questions.I ended up buying a Samsung Galaxy S9 because the associate wasnt being helpful, but all my friends with Androids always had this series of Samsung Galaxy.I purchased a tempered glass screen protector and an Otterbox because my work is rugged. The associate applied the $50 screen protector himself before asking if I wanted him to do it. This resulted in an enormous 3 inch bubble in the bottom left corner of my screen that he claimed would disappear within a few days. I was not happy because I figured this would compromise the effect of the screen protector, and I was right. I dropped my phone off my bathroom counter onto my wood floor a few days later, and the screen underneath that bubble shattered.I will not return to this store nor will I purchase accessories here because I didnt agree with the service; I would have received better service from a robot.Do not let the people in this store apply the screen protector without your permission! And if they mess it up, MAKE THEM REPLACE IT. Dont make the same mistake I did because I was too afraid to be rude to question the mans judgement.

I’m not sure about some of the other reviews about this store, but my experience that I just had here was very positive. The associate named Will who helped me, I am so grateful for! He went above and beyond to educate me about new products and solutions to problems I’ve been having with older ones. Everyone else in the store also seemed helpful and professional. I left this store with a new iPad and feeling really well informed and positive that I made the right decision about my purchase. I was not rushed or made to feel dumb or anything like some stores, and I always appreciate when people take their time and are patient with me, as some of the tech curve can be hard to keep up with. I will definitely be taking my future business back here, and thanks again for all your help today!

Robert (Rob) was knowledable and helped me perform a warranty claim. He was helpful in that portion of the process. But when I was trying to give my mother a call (for part of the warranty process) he went off and started talking with his friends leaving me sitting there wondering what to do after I got finished with the call (I couldnt get a hold of her). I had to walk over to where he was and actually speak to him to get his attention because his back was turned to me. I work in customer service for Dick Hannah Acura of Portland as a service writer and to me leaving the customer wondering what to do and especially turning your back on them to talk to your friends and practically forgetting the customer is there is truly just not acceptable. Went in there last week to pick up a Note 2. Got talked into a Galaxy S4 by the Sales guy. Two days later, the phone kept freezing up on me and rebooting any time I attempted to do ANYTHING. So I headed back into Verizon to trade it out for a Note 2, what I had originally wanted. Was informed I had to pay them $35, despite the merchandise not working. The manager at the time, Marcus, was a total jerk. The guy was passive and non-caring. Showed ZERO concern for a customer problem, and when I called him out on it, he invited me to leave the store. That guy does NOT belong in management. To let this guy being the final stop for many customers with issues leaves a very poor image of the company and location. I ended up paying them the $35, then when I got home I called the Customer Service line, explained what happened and how I was treated by Marcus, and they did not hesitate to credit me $35, so A+ for the people at the 800 number. Marcus and the Gresham Station store? You get an F.

I bought a new iPad and iPhone 8 Plus chargers etc about 2 weeks ago from Justin. He was amazing. My daughter took the old iPhone to Xfinity where they did not wipe it clean but changed my password causing a mess. We went in to Verizon Gresham and the technician appeared only half interested in helping. I don’t feel there is interest in helping customers with service, only sales. I’m very disappointed.

I recently visited the Verizon Wireless store in Gresham, Oregon to purchase a new phone for my daughters existing line. I was unsure of which phone to buy, but the older gentleman greeting by the door assured me that I would receive top-notch customer service. He recommended that I should look around the store while I waited my turn in line and particularly advised me to look at tablets since they were on promotion. My husband has our familys tablets under his multiple layer Verizon Wireless business account, so I didnt have a desire to purchase a tablet, but I looked at them anyway so as to not be rude. When my turn came up, I was greeted by a heavyset, red-haired woman. Her name was Jen, if Im not mistaken. She approached me and asked if I was interested in purchasing a tablet. I said no, and let her know that I was in the store to upgrade my daughters line of service. She insisted now was a great time to buy a tablet, but I told her that our tablets are housed on my husbands business account, so I would not need to purchase one today. We began looking at phones and going over pricing. After a few minutes, she asked me again if I wanted to purchase a tablet, and at this point, I realized there must be a sales incentive on selling tablets. I politely declined and continued looking at the phones. We had settled on a couple of models and she showed me some accessories for the phones. I let her know that I would bring my daughter by to choose a case on the day she received her phone since I did not want to choose the wrong case. She seemed visibly frustrated by my response and continued to coerce me into buying a case. I didnt understand the urgency of buying a case on that day, when I could bring my daughter by the store when she received the phone and choose a case then. It was a nightmare situation until the sales representative advised me that I could find a better price on the device by shopping around. I was thankful that she mentioned this and thought maybe she wasnt just trying to sell me after all. I went to Best Buy, the Verizon Wireless on Eastman Parkway and the Verizon Wireless in Clackamas, Oregon. THE PRICE OF THE DEVICE WAS EXACTLY THE SAME AT EVERY LOCATION! I had spent unnecessary time searching for a lower cost. I did not understand why she made this recommendation for me to shop around when clearly the device cost was the same. I was frustrated. I ultimately decided not to upgrade at any location. I forwarded this situation to my husband. Due to this employees negligence, we will be switching all of our personal lines and roughly 3,000 business lines when our contract is due.

Dont switch from your carrier without knowing what youre getting yourself into!We have been Verizon customers for over 3 years now. My wife and I like Verzons customer service and coverage. This review is about bad communication and service we got at this store.We are helping my wifes parents manage their finances since their retirement this year. We saw the switch to Verizon and theyll buy you out of your plan commercials. We thought why not bring the in-laws onto our plan so we dont have to keep track of their AT&T bill. We walked into this Verizon store and the staff was nice enough. I asked questions about switching the in-laws over from AT&T. I felt like I was pulling teeth asking the sales woman questions about the program. Nothing was disclosed to us during the process. She didnt seem to be properly trained, but we never had any reason to believe a company like Verizon would have such a bad program. Its basically false advertisement.She told us the amount of credit they were getting for their phones. It was a rediculously low price, but we said its fine since they are still getting bought out of their obligations.Turns out you get the crap price they give you credit for your device deducted from the amount it costs to get you out of your plan and the rest is given to you on a Verizon gift card, which can take 12 weeks to get to you. No one discloses this stuff to you at this store. You might as well sell your phone online and get 5 times more for your device. Huge rip off and we still needed to pay out of pocket to get my in-laws out of their plans with AT&T.Good thing we have plenty of income and money in the bank to cover 2 bills for that fist month. People living pay check to pay check would get completely screwed with this program. Financially this is huge profit gain for Verizon since they will turn around and sell your phone for a profit and make money off you in the long run. If we were given the right information up front we wouldnt have gone through with the transaction.

I went into this location to upgrade an iPhone. And ended up being pressured to buy and iPad mini and a gizmo gadget. The store said they would be free only the monthly access line would be charged. I asked several if this was really free because I didnt want to pay $400+ on top of my bill. They assured me the equipment was at no charge. Ended up getting a $600+ bill a month later for all those charges. After several minutes of explaining what happened, they started to work out a deal to lower the cost. However while waiting for all of this to take place, the came back saying we cant lower like we agreed earlier because they thought I was talking about them behind their backs. Which wasnt true. I was just telling my husband how messed up this is. They accused me of saying mean things and said no we cant lower the bill. They only took off $90!!! From a $600+ bill. To be accused of wrongdoing and charging me falsely is outrageous. Im appalled Verizon did this and will not go back.
