We where traveling through had a diesel emission light come on. Even though they were booked solid they worked us in and got us fixed and on road in a few days. They were very accommodating to us and can’t thank them enough. Excellent service department.

Recently purchased a used Dodge pickup from Sherrell Chevrolet. Paid 17500 out the door, it had less than 100,000 miles. The motor failed within six months of owning the truck, despite regular maintenance. Not only did Sherrell Chevrolet do nothing to help, they didnt even make an attempt to contact me after telling me they would see what they could do. All of that being said, I would like to add that after bringing the truck to a different mechanic for diagnosis, they discovered the truck had check engine light codes that were cleared prior to me buying it. The codes were for a cylinder 5 misfire, that ended up being the cause of the engine failure. If Sherrell Chevrolet actually did an inspection used vehicles before they sell them, this is something that they should have found in my opinion. I am now stuck spending $8,000 for a replacement engine from Mopar. I would not recommend doing business with Sherrell Chevrolet.

If there was an option for half a star that’s what I’d rate this place. Service was horrible. I brought my truck here knowing what was wrong with it and they still kept it all day when my appointment was at 9 am. I was called ma’am the entire time I was here by tony, they knew my name was DANIEL. They wanted to charge me $3,000 to replace an oil pump!!!! You can get an oil pump for $100-200! Absolutely outrageous. I am disgusted. So i went to the Subaru dealership across the street and bought a brand new Forester. I will not be doing business with Chevy ever again.

I went in for a recall on my windshield wiper motors and while I was waiting a desk guy came out to say my window had a rock chip below the seal. My window didnt have any cracks so I thought it was nice of him to let me know. They didnt show me anything.They wrote that there was a chip on my service receipt and sent me on my way.On my way home (~20 miles) I developed a crack that covered a third of my windshield and originated under a plastic cover next to my windshield wiper motor. I called and talked to the manager who said it was my issue not theirs. I called Chevy and they said it is a franchise so they have no way to resolve the issue.The window shop that replaced my window for ~$700 showed me the attached pictures with the plastic cover off. Their opinion matches mine as does another local chevy dealer - Sherrell broke my window and refused to make it right.

Bought truck and buying process was simple. I asked about vibration and was told it was new tires that were just installed. Before the first payment could be made on truck it was in the shop with a check engine light. Check engine light was a emission issue but ended up suspension had worn ball joints and such. Truck runs much smoother now, so was not the tires. All fluids needed to be changed due to being dirty. One of the caps on the wheel was missing when inquired the said they would find one and get one to me. They said it may have fallen off. When I looked at it closer it is bolted on so no falling off. I have heard nothing about a replacement. AS IS Should have been a clue. Inspect closely if buying from Sherrell.

Sales person didn’t follow through on his word. Said he was going to be in touch then never heard back from him. Also the vehicle wasn’t ready to sell. There were multiple fixes on an expensive SUV. We spoke extensively and he knew I was traveling a long distance and knew in advance that I was coming. Not trustworthy and absolutely disrespectful in not preparing the Multi check point Inspection and having it ready to go. Ugh. Where’s the integrity & honesty. Would never recommend them.

My parents bought a truck from them. New Chevy diesel.It’s had a few transmission problems.They can’t or won’t fix it. Theyve had it for 89 days and counting.They could just put a new transmission in it. But they won’t.I’ve owned a few chevys and had great luck with warranty work. This is unacceptable.They couldn’t camp all summer.They try blaming it on COVID or some other excuse.I would go somewhere else to buy your next truck.

I recently purchased a used car from Sherrell Chevrolet. A used 2018 Honda Accord Sport and this was my first time buying a car. Oddly enough I purchase this car online without test driving it or seeing it in person. All negotiations were done over the phone quickly and professionally. Klint (my salesperson) brought the car to my front door the very next morning. Pretty good considering I live in Pendleton. I have no complaints thus far. I have text Klint several times since I got the car with silly questions that really werent his problem. Yet every time he has text me back within minutes to help me out. Thanks Klint and thank you Sherrell Chevrolet for making me a happy and eventually a repeat customer!

There was some confusion On whether or not they could work on our truck and trailer, and long story short, another mechanic had fixed our truck but our trailer was locked behind the dealership gates even though our truck was at the other mechanic. We drove 4 hours to get both to find our trailer locked behind the gate after hours. We were able to get a hold of Mark and he left his house and came and opened the gate so we could grab the trailer. It was really really good of him to do that and it meant the world to us

You always hear horror stories of going to a car dealership. Ive bought two pick-ups from Sherrell Chevrolet, each of them being an extremely easy buying experience. The whole staff here serves to be honest and upfront about everything in the process and treat you like family. How do you give a ZERO star review? These guys did some work on my truck and when I got it back one of my 4x4 half axles fell off less than 25 miles from there shop. The next day the general manager of this car lot proceeds to visually inspect thing and from this was able to tell me everything was torqued down. His vision far exceeds the capabilities of mine. Then falsly explains to me that the oil pump is in the bottom of my oil pan. No not on this truck so after the shorty work on my truck and being treated like some single mom there squeezing for every last penny another repeat customer lost!!!

Probably one of the easiest transactions I have ever done. They did not have the car we wanted on the lot, so Tyler searched and found the exact one we wanted for the exact price we wanted to pay. My wife and I recently purchased a vehicle from Sherrell Chevrolet and could not be happier. I have dealt with a few car dealerships in my time and I actually think it is fun because I believe I have their games figured out. I can tell you that I am very impressed with the lack of negotiating that Sherrell and I had to do. They told me the price of the vehicle and what they would give me for our trade and I was very pleased. Now, there were a couple minor imperfections with the new vehicle and they agreed to fix those for no cost to me. I recommend Sherrell Chevrolet to anyone that is in the market for a new vehicle. I will always purchase from them!

I purchased a used 2015 truck under 43k miles with a lift kit. I’ve had several trucks in the past with lifts and know that things can get complicated and go wrong if they are improperly installed. I shared my concerns with the sales representative during the time of purchase and asked if the lift had been done by the dealership or by the previous owner. The sales representative and the sales manager (who is apparently also the owner’s son) ensured me that the lift and all other service had been completed by the dealership. The sales rep also stated that the power train warranty as well as some other components were still covered under the 60,000 mile 5 year mark.Within one month, I had a leak in the roof that cost $400 to fix because of a bad XM antenna. I asked the dealership if they were aware of this issue, and they said it was my responsibility to fix. Okay, I can handle that I guess.Within 3 months, I went to have an aftermarket bumper installed by a professional off road company that I know and trust. They identified that the lift that the dealership supposedly installed was not only done incorrectly, but was dangerously close to critical failure.I contacted the dealership and spoke with the same sales manager I had met when I purchased the truck, reminding them of their claims, and was met with the following statement and I quote:“Yeah, we’re not going to do anything about that, that’s what you get when you buy a used vehicle.”No apology! No attempt to satisfy my concern whatsoever. You’d think that if your name was on the side of the building in a time when dealerships are still fighting the stigma of shady integrity and disingenuous promises during their sales process, integrity would mean something. Sherrell Chevrolet shines as a perfect example of why car dealerships have a bad reputation. Don’t let a fake smile and their trained sales rapport-building fool you. You are just another number to them, and they will roll over on you at the first opportunity they get.0/5 stars. Take your tax return somewhere else.Service manager is a nice guy though. I’d get a beer with him.

About a month or so ago my wife and I purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban from Sherrell Chevrolet. Our salesman was Clint. There were some things I noticed about the vehicle that needed to be fixed and they agreed to fix them and they also did negotiate on price. We then walked into Clints office and he showed us that there were two keys for the vehicle. Great, we thought, having a spare set of keys is important and its good they have it .However, after signing papers and doing the deal, Clint then told us that the spare key was wrong and there was a actually only one key. Never ended up getting a second key. However, this is only the beginning...Fast forward to a few days later and my Oregon permit is about to expire. We are from Pasco, WA . So I drive down there, and ask about them. Clint then says good news! They already have plates at the department of licensing office that you selected. Great! So I walk outside and call just to make sure .Nope, Sherrell Chevrolet never sent documents to them. I go back inside and they tell me they dont know where they actually sent it to. Clint literally gave me a list of a bunch of locations and I had to sit there and call. Well NO ONE in tri cities had plates. So I go inside and tell them this. Guess what I found out? They dont have possession of the title because the previous owner still has it. They sold me a car they didnt have the title to. So then they tell me I can get a new permit from Washington state and they give me 30 bucks to do that and try to get rid of me again. I again call to verify this. Yes its 30 dollars for a 3 DAY PERMIT. So in the end they gave me 90 dollars to get 3 permits. It eventually got sorted out but it was such a hassle.Also when they fixed my brakes they put a new brake pad on the driver front but left the worn out one on the passenger side and now it pulls to the side when I brake. So now Im gonna have to buy new pads anyways.Stay away from Sherrell Chevrolet.

COULDNT BE HAPPIER!! We drove from Salem (>200 miles away) to check out a vehicle at Sherrell. We were a little apprehensive about driving so far to look at a vehicle but Luis, Dave, Tyler, and Connie were all so kind and took extremely good care of us! The other reviews about them treating their customers like family is so true! Although were from Salem, were telling everyone we know who is in the market for a car about Sherrell... My husband and I bought a used 2011 Chevy Suburban on 4-24-2019. We had let the salesman know that we needed a reliable vehicle for our family of 6 that was within our budget, as little miles as possible, and not a “project” car. He showed us two SUVs, one Ford Expedition and the Chevy Suburban. We decided the Suburban was a better fit for our growing family. The salesman assured us this car would not only be reliable but would last. Fast forward to today which is 5-2-2019, I had to take our “new” to our family vehicle to The Auto Clinic to find out why our SUV is leaking oil out of the engine!! AND, to top it off, day two of having our new to us SUV, I had to take it to Les Schwab to get new brakes and new rotors!! ALSO, we had to take it to get the headlight replaced the third day after purchase!! THEN, that same day, I had to take it to Premium Lube to get an oil change because the CHECK ENGINE light came on, this is where they instructed me that we were in high need to get our transmission serviced because there was a “minor” transmission leak!!! SO NOW, here I am, at home, waiting to hear back from The Auto Clinic about what all needs fixed and repaired on our “new” used vehicle that we purchased from Sherrell Chevrolet!!

Yesterday I bought my first truck with Tyler Christiansen from Sherrell Chevrolet. He made the experience simple. He went above and beyond to work around my crazy work schedule. He got me exactly what I asked for with no toying around. I was in and out of there in less than an hour. I bought a brand new suburban at another dealership and was in town when my thermostat got very hot. I pulled into this dealership and went to the service department and could find nobody, it took over 10 minutes for someone from the service department to finally staff the desk. After 5 minutes of talking to the gal at the desk she went and got the service department manager. I explained what was going on and told him I wanted a representative to witness the over heating thermostat. He did offer to come out and scan the computer but since a light was on not on it would not pull anything. His offer is the only reason I did not rate them lower. He said they were busy for the next 2 weeks and could not do anything about it. He said I could take it to the Tri cities since they have more technicians their. He did not even come out to the vehicle or attempt to troubleshoot it with me. I ended up shutting it down and restarting it with a hunch that it was a faulty gauge. That reset it but all on my own effort. I was not impressed.

I personally do not like to spend hundreds of dollars to fix a car purchased less than one year ago and then after spending over 600.00 the car is still not fix. Check engine light...and so on. No longer hometown dealership.

These guys are thieves disguised as a car dealership. My wife took a pink chevy key fob in that she got for her birthday and wanted to get it programmed. They said no problem, thirty minutes later they told her it doesnt work, and that she had to pay 50 dollars in labor fees. How would you feel if you paid for something and received nothing in return. Its only 50 dollars but imagine what they will do to YOU buying a new car! If you have been, or are planning to be subject to fraud from this dealership I suggest you report it to the Federal Trade Commission or the Better Business Bureau.

I started purchasing vehicles from Sherrells in the mid 90s. They were my hometown Chevy dealership. However the last two vehicles I have purchased for my wife have been POS. I expect more from a dealership I have purchased several vehicles from. Fix the vehicle, dont overcharge me and the same problems occur the next day..and so on. Get people in you shop that know what they are doing, and honor the work that is done. not much to ask. The current car I purchased for my wife has been nothing but a money pit. Bad customer service, long time customer(repeat customer ) lost.

I had the best dealership experience here at Sherrell Chevrolet then Ive ever had at any dealership. The People are really cool!, friendly and helpful. Supper laid back and very enjoyable to be around. I almost didnt feel like I was at a dealership at all.One person of Note: Tyler Christiansen; one of the salesmen which is who we dealt with mostly is a super cool guy, very respectful, accommodating and helpful as well as knowledgeable and very service oriented.Although everyone there also made our buying experience very pleasant. I got a great deal with trade ins, and negotiating was not a problem, Tyler was very direct and forthcoming, no games or gimmicks also some of the most honest sales people Ive ever encountered. I requested changes to the deal numerous times and was accommodated graciously every single time and taken care of all the while.Tyler treats all of his customers and potential customers alike with prompt one on one attention even when he has multiples at the same time everyone is left feeling well taken care off and it seems normal for him (almost second nature), definitely a change from the norm.I needed the dealership to hold a truck for me which they did with a fee, called me back when they said they would, helped me to take care of everything possible over the phone so that when I came as much was already taken care of that could be and they were prompt in taking care of business so I didnt have to wait days for them (unlike other dealerships).Sherrell Chevrolets Customer service is top notch. Nothing over the top crazy, just taking care of buisness and their customers the way dealership employees should.All in All the best buying experience Ive ever had and probably (unfortunately) that I will have, if I choose to shop elsewhere in the future.
