I shattered my screen on the first day of vacation. I was given the run around by a CPR store in Winston Salem and Best Buy in Winston Salem in efforts to get my screen repaired. I was put in touch with CPR in Hickory and so thankful I was. The customer service was exceptional and the speed and turn around time was just as good. Nothing but great service from CPR in Hickory. I will definitely be using them for any future services and repairs I need!!!! Highly recommend these guys!!!!!

I had cracked my screen, and the top 30% of my screen was not working. They has it fixed and replaced within 2 hours and was pretty decently priced! Very nice and they took care of me right away. Would highly recommend!!!

Took a Google pixel 3a to have the battery replaced (and the screen because they said they have to break the screen to open the phone.) Get the phone back and the screen would not go brighter than 1/3 brightness, it had lines across it and flickered and the phone only worked if you used the speaker. They worked on it again and then the right side of the screen would not work (I didnt realize this until I got home.) I called them back to let them know and was basically accused of damaging the phone after I left the store. Each time they asked what I did to the phone after I left the store; its nothing I did; its poor workmanship. If they dont have the knowledge to work on a particular kind of phone then they need to let the customer know so the customer can find someone who does know what theyre doing. Dont try to make it sound like the customer is damaging their phone 3 times in a row as soon as they walk out the door.

Oh. My. Gosh! These guys are the absolute best! I had a 4 year old ipad with a defective charger port. The part came in on the day I was told it would and the repair completed the same day. I was so very pleased with the service and the friendly, professional manner in which I was treated. I highly recommend CPR for all your technical repair service.

They are more sales oriented and not equipped to do diagnostic evaluations. They looked at my phone with no success. These guys really fixed me up. I hate getting told “that phone is old” and “it’s not worth fixing”. I have a iPhone SE 1st generation. It works fine and it fits in my pocket just right. I made an appointment at Simply Mac in Asheville. After driving 75 miles to Asheville to visit “Simply Mac” and getting turned away because they didn’t have the battery, I made another appointment in Hickory at Best Buy. Same thing but I called ahead of time but was on hold the entire trip to Hickory. I wanted to check to see if they had a battery before I drove there. So I went to these guys and was done in 10 minutes. Two thumbs up.

These guys are great. They updated our older Mac computer in less than a day. I assumed it would take maybe a week to get our computer back but nope. They called the same day I dropped it off just to give me an update then called again the next morning stating it was all done. Super fast turn around and we are happy with what they did. Left the store with my iPhone 11. Looked fine. Next thing I know facial recognition and portrait mode and all sorts of features are not working. I was not told that this would happen. For $200 I would expect to know it’s going to work

My Galaxy Tab A died. The CPR man at the counter spent a good bit of time with me, discussing the tablets symptoms, before quoting a cost to diagnose of $25. Alas, the tablet was truly DEAD. I retrieved my tablet, paid the bill of $26.75 ($25 + tax) and thanked the courteous, professional technician. I will definitely recommend the Hickory, NC branch of CPR Cell Phone Repair. Very uninformed, especially for a company that does so many repairs. They were charging over 80% more than it would cost for you to take the phone to Apple yourself. After discoloring this knowledge to the associate he than began to argue with me. This knowledge is easily accessible from the Apple repair page. Then after realizing that they are charging over 200 more than Apple they said “well go with them then” instead of making a service accessible for others.

Its a great way to get insight on your local places.

My husband had a phone repaired by CPR a couple years ago and they did a great job. Today I called to see about adding storage to my phone and the gentleman who answered was very informative and told me exactly what to do to get more I-Cloud Storage and how to manage those accounts. He walked me through the process over the phone and explained how to best use and get storage instead of running out to buy a new phone! He didnt know wed ever done business there or ever would yet he was more than happy to spend over ten minutes on the phone to help me for free!! I really appreciate people doing more than expected! 5 STARS for professionals like that!:)

Ben, who helped me, was knowledgeable and professional. The turnaround was quick on my phone battery replacement. I went to a nearby store to pick up a few items, and my phone was ready when I returned. He also answered my questions about whether a tablet I own was worth refurbishing, which was helpful. You won’t be disappointed with their service.

They lied to me about what they did to my iPhone. I brought my phone in for them to run a diagnostic on it and after I paid them to do it I took it to the apple store and the apple store showed me that they did absolutely nothing to it and lied to me about testing and attempting to repair my cell phone. They are a fraud

The guy helping me gave a reasonable quote and timeframe upfront with no payment due until after all work had been done. In my case another local repair shop had messed up something easily fixable and we wont charge you for someone elses mistake. Could not have asked for a better outcome.

I took my phone in to get a screen replacement, they charged me a little over $200 and said it would be 2-3 days. On the 4th day of not hearing anything I called to check in and they told me the part was out of stock. I understand that was out of their control but it would have been nice to have been updated. They were also unable to give me any time frame estimate. Two full weeks later I finally got my phone back and the screen was not the same quality. The sensors were off and a little glitchy but I was managing. Now, three weeks after I had my phone fixed it was dropped less than a foot and shattered and the screen is non responsive. It had a protective case and a screen protector on. I wish I had a good experience here but I wasted $200 and I’ve decided to not hassle with them again and I’m just going to have to get a new phone.

First time coming to this place and had a great experience. I had to get my iPhone 11 screen fixed because I badly damaged it the night before. I was offered a great price compared to what Apple would have made me pay. It took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get the phone fixed. I highly recommend coming here if you need a phone screen fixed.

Do not do any business here find a different repair store dropped my computer off for a keyboard fix . While we were waiting on the parts to come in .1 month went by called to check on it still waiting for the parts to come from China (during COVID ) . Another month past cakes again and they said they have no records of me even dropping off the computer. Told them when I dropped it off and they said they’ll try to find in checked in about 3 weeks later and they said that they have thrown it away because of lack of contact and it was aready in recycling and we can’t get it back so I would think again about doing any business with these people where u have to leave your device . Will not be doing anymore business with them .

James was great. He is personable, he is technical, and more important he is competent. James is not there to take your money. He is there to solve your problems. Local chains send their business here, and there is good reason for it. I would recommend them for everything they say that they do. It is refreshing to find a business that does exactly what it says it will do. Couldnt recommend them more.

This being the first time having a screen repaired on a phone I dont have much to compare it to on price but I feel like it was a bit pricey however the other place down the street was cheaper their low reviews is the reason I went here instead.

Took one of our company cell phones to have the battery replaced. Made my appointment on line..........very easy. Got to the store early, but James took the phone on back and within the hour it was finished and I was on my way back to the office to one happy associate!!

I just brought in my moms phone after she was in a car accident. It was recommended by our phone company so that we could replace her screen and not lose the data, and Im very happy with the service. You dont have to pay until it is fixed, the price is reasonable, and the customer service was phenomenal. They are helping us immensely through this tough time and I cannot thank them enough for getting her phone fixed in the same day. My screen was cracked and I took it to planet mobile to fix back in December. Less then 3 months and the screen stopped working, was causing my phone to heat up, and on top of that the screen literally fell off the phone. They refused to fix it and gave me every excuse in the book, even went to say that I dropped the phone in water and got it wet. I took it to CPR in Hickory they told me the screen went bad and was faulty, and they would also see that the phone was clearly not dropped and didn’t not have any water damage at all. CPR in Hickory had great customer service, speedy service, and was amazing all the way around. I went to them the week later to purchase an Apple TV as well. Don’t waste your time and money with anyone else and just come right to them for any phone repairs!

I took my 2014 MacBook pro to have the battery replaced. I was unfortunately disappointed to have to find out the the first battery they installed didnt work. They were very patient and ordered a new battery quickly and were able to get the new one in place and working perfectly. I really appreciate that they do not charge you until the repair is completed and working as promised. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Will do business with them again. I was much happier than doing what Apple wanted me to do (like holding a $500 charge on my credit card while I waited over a week for a repair). Plus they honoured a coupon and gave me an even better price. Highly recommend!

Overall, I am very happy with my experience with CPR. James was very knowledgeable with the type of phone I had and explained what was wrong. He even lent me a phone to use while my Pixel was being repaired since it required a new battery and that delayed the repair. The slowness due to waiting on a battery was the only issue I had and that was not their fault. They did not require any money down either. You pay when you pick up your phone. My phone is back with me and working great! Thanks to CPR!

Great experience! I came in frightened that I may need to purchase a new iPhone since mine stopped working and refused to charge. This was my second trip to an iPhone repair service, but once I tried CPR Cell phone repair, I’ll never trust another service. The service employee was polite and helpful, within an hour and a half my phone was ready to go, requiring a simple battery exchange and advice not to keep it plugged in past a full charge.
