One of the nicest looking large local small mom and pops grocery market especially Asian market specifically Vietnamese. this particular grocery store actually started humble small beginnings and now bought a lot nearby their original location and now its bigger.they sell fresh food in meats, seafood and produce as well as fresh fast food as well. one of the biggest section of freshly made food in have seen in an Asian market which cam range from bakery goods as well as actual meals.they even sell fruit trees, herbs and other plants as well

Im from austin and thought we had some cool and fairly clean Asian markets but this one is way nicer and most of the same stuff. The one thing Cho Tan Binh has that others in austin dont is all fast food options I was glad I wasnt hungry when I went in because I would have tried alot of items...

I dont think I could even give this place one star. I dont believe this long-time market, which is one of the symbol of Vietnamese community in Houston, responded really badly to customers.Today, I bought a bag of citrus orange. I didnt realize until I cut the oranges that all of those were bad. They were all inedible, bad smell from inside. I went there to complain and ask for a refund since in the receipt, they said it could be returable within 24 hours. However, the old lady at the cashier (maybe the manager, they didnt even have a customer service counter) was very rude in response to my complain. They said no refund for fruit but nothing said on the receipt. They didnt even show the sign on the fruit shelf saying no-returnable. They just said no-return without giving a provable, acceptable rule or paperwork. They didnt spend time to listen to my complaint. I dont believe this market has still existed for over 10 years with this kind of disrepsectful customer service. I also think they import goods from unreliable source and put in the bag with reputable trade name. This is horrible. Do not go there to buy food or things. This is a disater if this market still exists.

While I am not Vietnamese I was quite impressed with the extensive variety and the built in cook food section. Definitely a place to go and security was out and about very helpful and happy to see him though I felt quite safe already. All sorts of fresh meats, veggies etc.

HORRIBLE service and overpriced fruits! You can buy dragon fruits at Sprouts or H-Mart much cheaper and more fresh. The dessert area is overpriced. They charge you extra for coconut milk that should accompany Xoi pancakes dessert anyways and the manager up in the very front booth is RUDE. Never coming back.

Honestly I dont know which one this is. But all the markets in the area are fairly similar

I just love their Dôì Xå and cöm chï. They have an awesome arrays of exotic fruits, and nick names. There is fresh meat and seafood to purchase. The duck eggs is $1.29 now. Their chè is $1.25

Tried to shop here for small grocery. Couldnt purchase due to a company self interest policy of minimum purchase of 10$ when looking all over for that policy sign. Can only find a crinkled up note that say that far from the register. Most things are overpriced. Will avoid if possible.

Dirty market. There are 2 main cashiers dont say thank you to their customers, dont smile and always have a cold look on their faces. Very crowded for small place

Best price, friendly service. I went to heb trying to buy a couple of 4 crab fish sauce bottles they listed a couple months ago for $3.99. Now they want it at $6.99. Thanh Bình offers it for $3.99! The owner shówn me where it is being shelfed so i do not have to waste my time.

I dont shop here often bc the only thing i would buy is the fast food to go but only on the weekend. Other then that the store have this funky smell that i dont like

I tried coming Thanh Binh once and I checked the business hours before going (y’all should update business hours!) As soon as I got to the door the lady rudely direct to me they’re closed and repeated herself like I didn’t understood. I wanted to give the sister store a try. I normally go to Tan Binh. a lot of ppl I know goes to Thanh Binh but that will be the first and last time.

Cashier shop owner and me help to put together countless food stealing the most expensive items of customers and calculating fraud. One item counts as twice if the customer looks away or talks on the phone. Me and my friend suffered many times in this store. Today I bought a pack of veal for $ 20 and the other items were packed in bags. I said take care of me, I went to get the herbs. When he returned, the owner said he did not know. If the owner said it before, I wouldnt have told him. The owner and the employee know the expensive item hidden in the cashier counter and say dont know. People who do dishonest business also sometimes pay someone else to take food from others.
