Basically has everything you need packed in a tiny little store. Has a great selection of fresh veggies and vietnamese herbs - pretty much 95% of the reason why I come here. Very convenient for those living close to 529/Eldridge area.
Small tucked away but provide great service and accommodate the necessary item for asian market.
My friend went to store to buy vegetables and got the living daylights scared out of her so many rats all over the place. This place needs extensive extermination. 😞😞😞😞
Im assuming this used to be a video store back when video rentals were popular but now its actually an oriental, mainly Vietnamese, market. There are not a lot of Asian supermarkets in the area so I was super happy to find this place. Small store but has the basics. Friendly staff. Credit card minimum is $10.
It was ok but check dates on food products u buy there bcuz alot of stuff was out of date & the champagne cookies I bought my dad were stale.
I bought a lot of fresh noodle like rice stick, pure rice noodle and such, they all had mold when I tried using them at home. Banh bot Chien is also hard as rock. The young shredded coconut package was expired. It’s me not checking out the merchandise closely when buying, but I didn’t expect those merchandise to be bad when they were on the shelves or in the fridge... the cashier was on the phone the whole time when I got there till check out, which is fine, but she didn’t pay attention so we and some other lady had to wait like 15-20 minutes to check out. I’m not returning, and hope people don’t waste money on buying food here. It could have poisoned you.
Small, quaint, has the essentials and more, ship stuff and monies to the motherland.
