The front desk representative was very polite. Although I’m very confused to why they told me I needed a new headlight which was very expensive, I got a second opinion & all I really needed was a new module. I know a lot of women aren’t really educated when it comes to cars, but that was very misleading. Thank God I got a second opinion, I saved a few thousand dollars ! I don’t want to bring any negativity towards this company AT ALL, I’m just sharing my personal experience. God bless.

From the moment I walked through the door at BARtuning Inc and met Mike and Johnny I could tell that I was really going to like these guys and the shop. Mike is the owner and one of the most knowledgeable guys that I’ve come across in a long time. I took my 2013 Passat to them because I wanted to get a trusted VW mechanic shop to diagnose the car properly and was told by another professional mechanic that it might be the heater core. So they had it for over a day told me that heater core needed to be change which was $2400 and another sensor also needed to be changed which was approximately $300. Because of the dialogue I was suspicious of the diagnosis. So I picked up my car the following morning and paid $145 for the diagnostics fee. And then took it to my mechanic and also bought a heater core since they mentioned it was the heater core, he checked the heater core and said it had been already recently replaced and there was no problem with the door actuator was fine that the latch was off the door actuator so the heat wasn’t coming in he reconnected the latch . He charged me $50 and I have heat again yeah!! Regarding the sensor it was a fluke as well. I am surprised I spent $145 for a diagnostic fee and the diagnosis was wrong on both accounts. Always do your due diligence

Mike is GREAT! He knows what he’s doing and will tell you just what you need. It’s a small shop so he knows what’s going on with each car. I’ve used him for two Audi and a Jaguar, from simple oil changes to complicated break jobs and general service. I’d recommend him to anyone!

Mike and his team are excellent when it comes to car service. Ive been a customer for a few years now and the Bartuning team helped me get the most out of my hand-me-down Volkswagen that had several issues. Im not much of a car person but they have always been super helpful in explaining any issues to me (even taking me to my car on the lift or on the floor to actually show me exactly what the problem was), why the issues happened and what needs to be fixed and the cost has always been fair. Mike, the owner, is extremely detailed and knows his stuff. I addressed several general maintenance issues and everything was completed to my satisfaction.

The guys seemed very professional. Kinda got to the point of matters and had a solution. Had a bad experience at vw clear lake but these mechanics let me know what going on step by step so I knew what I was looking at and costs. At this point my work car is on the road again and is doing what its supposed to be doing making me money. They took care of my vehicle and me . Very thankful for their service.

Mike was extremely thorough in his diagnosis of the check engine light issue on my 2012 Audi TTRS. He was able to definitively identify that it was a faulty ECU, but he didn’t just stop there and offer me the only option of replacing it with a new ECU. He was able to determined that the ECU had cold solder joints that were causing the intermittent fault and repaired the unit, saving me a lot of money and time trying to get a replacement ECU from Audi.

Spoke with Johnathan over the phone and was told that there would be a $140 diagnostic fee for a headlight replacement. Mind you, i already knew that i needed a headlight replacement so why would I need a diagnostic? I asked them how much then just to remove the headlight? Johnathans response was that they dont do jobs like that. Its either they do the whole job with the diagnostic charge or they dont do the job at all. Needless to say I think Ill just take my business elsewhere! Thanks, no thanks!

Really a great experience! I needed a new set of brake pads and rotors for my 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan and I had been looking for a mechanic that I could trust and I’m really glad I found Bartuning. I dropped it off for a same day service, they were super straight forward, told me exactly what I needed how much it would be and when it could be done. By that afternoon my vehicle was ready for pick up! Fresh Brake fluid, new front pads and rotors, and a tire rotation back on the road and better than before!

Thank GOD for these guys! They’re honest, professional and downright nice people! Johnathan helped guide me through a process that saved me thousands of dollars in repairs. He and his team (Mike) were able to figure out what was wrong with my 2011 BMW 328i after I spent hundreds of dollars in replacing parts that wasn’t needed. He suggested that I reach out to any BMW dealership to check for an extended warranty and I found out there was one. The dealership just called to let me know that they will cover the work of replacing the “thanos” Sp? bolts under the warranty! Thank GOD for this business and the people there. This is the second time I have been back to Mike and his team for a tune. The first was on my SQ5, which added big improvement to it performance.This week I went back get the Porsche Macan Turbo tuned. Not only did Mike and his guys do a first class job with this, they did the oil change and put a new pair of boots on it and then alignment.As always very thorough and informative, as you would expect. I have had a similar experience like Jose Villarreal who got lured and cheated by a con artist like the owner of this shop who makes a living off of innocent customers. Once again, Mike did a great job on my VW. I had the check engine light come on when visiting mm sister in Houston(Ive moved out of town since I last used mikes services) and he was my first choice. I had to leave my car in Houston and catch a ride home but I had it towed to his shop first thing the next day. He looked it over and found that one of the parts he replaced when he last did work had a fault so he covered it under warranty and repaired it free of charge. He was also very accommodating with me coming to pick my car up as I work during his normal hours of business. It drives great, once again I have no complaints and can offer nothing but praise for his work. If you have a car problem just bring it to Mike and consider it taken care of .
