We had a great experience! The shades were exactly as expected, are well made, and were ready ahead of schedule. The installation was fast and professional. Brian Little was fantastic. He consistently stayed in communication from start to finish. He even came in on his day off to help us reselect fabric. Customer service was top notch. The Luminettes we purchased from Shade & Drape have been wonderful! They’re a great product, and the service was super. Recently, a panel was knocked off the wall, when they were opened incorrectly in a rush. The Shade & Drape Company arranged to provide us with remounting hardware on a same day basis. Wow! Just got an old damaged (by my dog!) Hunter Douglas blind replaced by these folks. They went above and beyond to help me get the same blind I was replacing and even worked with the factory to get the blind made from discontinued fabric stock. Then when the blind arrived they were kind enough to drop it off to me directly rather than me having to Goni to the shop. So. All around a very impressive, professional and helpful staff and a customer experience that means I can’t recommend these guys strongly enough!

Had drapes made for our home using The Shade and Drape Co. Worked with Ted, who was wonderful. So many gorgeous drapes and fabrics to pick from. Ted helped us with our choices and his advice was on point. We have a very high ceiling in our living room and unlike other drape places, they were able to customize the drapes for this size. Easy process and prices very reasonable. Jeff came to install the curtains and he was very professional and did a flawless and amazing job. We are thrilled with the drapes and plan on using this company for more rooms in our house. Highly recommend!

Beautiful automated Hunter Douglas shades expertly installed throughout our new home at a good price. You can use the app to set certain scenes - like your bedroom shades open halfway at 7:00 a.m. automatically. Its pretty awesome. We are very happy with the product and very happy with the quality of service.

Marilyn was very helpful with all my needs. She was sweet and well-versed in everything their store had to offer. Everyone who came to install the different shades and shutters we ordered were so nice, thorough, and efficient! We ordered draperies for three rooms just before the Covid-19 “shelter-in-place” shut down. As we live in a senior living community we were unable to have any outsider have entry—- even family members. Because of the Shade & Drape Company’s reputation and having received proof of bond and insurance, they allowed an exception. Their installer has 44 years experience, and within 2 1/2 hours he installed our beautiful new drapes —- all while wearing his mask to protect us. We are delighted with the quality and the service.

This is a lovely store with many window options to choose from. The colors, fabrics and selections were fabulous. I felt confident that the sales person saw my vision and helped me execute it. He came to my home, took exact measurements and delivered my window treatment as scheduled. I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

The Shade and Drape shop was the 3rd store weve been to and their prices come out to the the most competitive, the flip side is that theyre the longest to turn around. Since we are in no rush, we signed up with Marilyn (shes very knowledgeable with the products) and everything went from picking the product, measurements and installation was flawless.

I went to Shade & Drape to order custom shutters for my front windows. They were very helpful in walking me through all of the different options, and most importantly, they asked a lot of questions and then made a number of suggestions that improved the appearance and the functionality of the shutters. The shutters were completed on time and the installers did a very good job installing them -- in fact, they noticed one very slight defect in one of the louvres (which I probably would never noticed myself), repaired it free of charge, and didnt call the job done until they knew I was satisfied. Overall, a very good experience.

Very BAD customer service

I went into The Shade & Drape Co. at the end of the last year to look at the Hunter Douglas shades. Ted was amazingly helpful to me in deciding the right shade for our window. Once they were installed, we had some trouble with our center shade and Ted was right on it. Not only did he send the installer back out, but he actually came out himself to check it out. When it was decided that the shade needed to go back to Hunter Douglas, Ted took care of everything. When the shade came back, we determined that Hunter Douglas sent a new shade rather than repairing the one we sent back. Well, our shades were designed to hang side by side, so they had to be exact matches. The new shade was not and Ted took care of everything. I never worried about having to do anything. Ted took care of contacting Hunter Douglas and making the arrangements. He also kept me informed throughout the entire process. Without a doubt, I will used The Shade & Drape Co. again!

Be careful of their drape quotes which was not transparent. It ended up way more fabric put in my order and overall effect was massed up. Do some homework to understand prong and pleat space and specify them in the order to avoid being ripped off.

Im a designer & I use Ted at Shade & Drape! My clients have all had a good experience with him. From the point of selections, doing measurements, installation & servicing he takes care of them. Quality is very good and I love the fact he has all price points from standard affordable to upgraded colors. He will usually get a quote back in a few days (which in our industry is fast).
