This was a wonderful experience. I was buying cigars as a gift, and I did not know what I was doing. The lady there helped me and was very kind. They seem to have a wide selection and variety, and it’s definitely cool to help local stores! Check this out if you’re looking for a good cigar. I cannot attest to the quality of the cigar, as I did not smoke them and gave them as a gift, but the service here was amazing.

Stopped in for some sticks and found just what I was looking for. Place has a large selection of cigars and accessories also. Will definitely visit again.

Tiffany and Kim are excellent, my only spot for cigars. The ladies are very knowledgeable and customer service is the best......MY ONLY SPOT FOR CIGARS!

Seems to be the only place in town that is still selling Buteras whenever they can get them. Bc their Butera supply is hit or miss these days, Ive been forced to diversify and boy, am I glad that I did. Their selection is vast!The young lady behind the counter - her knowledge & recommendations are great! And she has a happy customer for life!!!

This is a great cigar shop.They have a nice selection of cigars.Parking in limited due to its location but there are spaces allocated for the shop.They have many cigar related items in the shop, humidors, cutters, lighters, cigar cases etc.They no longer have a smoking lounge in the back of the shop but there are a couple of seats in the front, if you have time for a quick smoke.Kudos to Cigar Emporium.

I love this shop. Great selection of cigars and prices. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Ask questions if you have any, because the ladies here can get you into the right tobacco to suit your palate. Youll be hard pressed to find a shop as friendly.They have some hard to find cigars here. If you dont see it, ask! They can season your humidor here also if you are buying a new one from them. Competitive pricing and selection. There is a lounge here, but parking is very tight. They also tend to have blowout deals on great cigars. Check them out!

I must admit, I came here twice. They are about 15 years apart. The first time I don’t remember much. The second time, I remember having a nice experience. The lady was helpful and friendly. I found my favorites there, one of them was Liga 9. The place was small and they stock a lot of different cigars, so little maneuver space. The prices are reasonable for the location. Besides, there are very few dedicated cigar shops in that area. Glad they are still in business.

Weird small tobacco store in a small strip mall on an extremely busy intersection w extremely limited parking. What they dont have in size, they makeup in inventory. They have the largest selection of cigars Ive seen in Houston for the square footage. Spoke to several customers and they claimed it wasnt their favorite BM, but convenient when theirs doesnt have their smoke of choice. Customer service is weird. There is a a young Asian woman whose verbal ability to interact w customers seems to be at the heart of the weirdness. I went in on 9/24/2018 looking for pillows. I not only had to repeat myself, but explain what they where after she said woefully, All we sell is cigars? Also, I felt like they were a bit overpriced compared to other Houston smoke shops. Ive dropped in twice to research their offering, but wont be a regular.

Best cigar store in Downtown Houston. Only place I trust for good cigars. You can tell that Im partial but there really isnt any other store that compares.

This is kind of a difficult review to write. I have been going to Cigar Emporium for years, but I’m afraid I’m not going back. The pull of the competition is just too great. I went today and spent $95 so here goes:1. The dedicated parking spots out front are not enforced nor does store management really care. The manager just shrugged her shoulders. So sometimes you have to park a block away. This is something that could be fixed for free.2. The store is a total mess. You have to be careful just to avoid falling over the piles of full, empty and half full packing boxes strewn all over the floor. It has been like this for a year or so. It looks like the store was looted. This is something that could be fixed for free.3. The prices are poorly marked or non-existent throughout the store. The prices are premium retail but that’s ok with me as long as they are clearly marked. Walking back to the counter, waiting for the manager to tell you how much a cigar is can be a pain. Also, the price tags that are visible, look like they were printed 10 years ago and never revisited. Not good for a premium priced store. This is something that could be fixed for free.4. Overall, the store is just getting by. They eliminated the smoking lounge and with the constant mess and general disorganization, there is no enjoyment or interest to lure the customer in. It’s like you are just settling for the bare minimum.I really wish the store the best. It is nearby, but it’s just barely getting by. It reminds me of the last time I went to Sears. I’m really sorry to say. ALL of the things they could do to fix the problems are either free or little additional expense to the owner. One of the important principles of running a store is to do two things: create the environment where the customer WANTS to give you their money AND make it easy for them to do so.It’s just too frustrating and depressing to go there. I really wish them the best but I’m gonna let the invisible hand of the free market deal with this little store. I wish them good luck.-Robert4.

It hurts to write a review like this but, I been here twice and not much help they have a great selection may inadd but there only one lady working the deal and I had a problem with my xikar lighter and she said she cold not take it and replace it because xikar had to may issues with all the lighter that they changed the policy were I had to send them my lighter now. And twice after I they her that I need harlow with my lighter she ask, hey you out of town or something no one exchanges xikar lighter like just like that, she didnt even bother to look at it and I had it on the original box. But anyway I hope no one else goes thru something like this.

Nice guy...but hes overly cautious; not with me but with a certain race (use your judgement). Hell follow them around as if hes making the worst assumptions. Quite blunt with his actions.Store has been cluttered in the past..getting better. Prices are higher. His humidor is awful though, humidity is too high and quite cluttered (almost unorganized). He has misters and the variance of condition depends on where in the humidor they are.Their events are pretty cool...and the regulars are nice guys. Not the best, but not the worst.
